Velius P.O.V

It's been several days since I last talked to my little brother. I was very much on my own right now since Talon began to throw tantrums at me. Just as Sable said to me, I followed him around but lost track of him, again. Why in the world would he keep such a very secret from me? That's the question that makes' me so uneasy for the past several days. Then suddenly, when I was passing by on the old human facility, I saw him coming out. I quickly hid before he could see me. There was sadness and pain when I saw his face. Who could have hurt my little brother? I wanted to talk and asked to him who had done him wrong so I can take my revenge on whoever did it, but I remembered what my mate said to me.

"Why? Why me? Why make me a monster?" He said. Monster? Who told him that? He's not a monster, well as far as I know. Since he's a breed of part human part xenomorph, it wouldn't surprise anyone. But a monster? Now that's something I don't want to hear him say.

"Whether I like it or not, I'm sending her back. No matter what happens, her happiness is my main concern. If she wants to go back with them then it's fine. She could never love someone like me." Who is the female he's talking about? Normally he wasn't really much open on talking about females until now. And also, he doesn't know any other female who was really close to him around the hive except mother and Sable, who was really nice to him.

He then darted off after he regained his composure. I'm going to take a look inside the facility, after I find out where he's off to next. Talking to him isn't going to help. All I'm going to receive from him after the conversation is a no good yell.

I found him returning to the hive, now that's very rare of him to take a visit, after being hurt that unknown female he was talking about a while earlier. I swear that if I ever find the female that caused him pain, she's going to regret that she was even born.

But the whole thing didn't start rather pretty. The moment he entered the hive, Shaze blocked his way. I hate that xeno to death.

"Why so back now, abomination?" he said with a mocking tone on his voice. Nobody dares to call him that while I'm around.

"Don't…call…me…that by name!" he yelled. "One more word and I swear I'm going to make you regret you even existed!" This is so not good. What is going on with him? He's never been that angry before. And that look on his face, I'd run away if I still have a chance because that look looks like he's going for a kill.

"What an amusing threat. What did you expect me to do? Run away like a coward?"

"No. I expect to see you beg for your life." I was right. A fight is on.

Talon first lunged at Shaze but he avoided the attack. Next, Shaze tried to stab him with his tail, he missed him but Talon got a cut on his shoulder. And it looks very deep. I wanted to help Talon but I know the rules around the hive that one must not interfere during a battle. The whole fight was about life and death. Not unless one of them admits defeat or die. Knowing the two of them, they'd probably choose to fight to the death because of their great deal of hatred to one another.

And at last the fight has ended. Shaze was defeated but Talon spared his life. And I thought this will the last fight that xeno was going to have.

"This isn't over yet abomination! I will soon get my revenge on you someday!" Shaze said before he quickly left the hive. He suffered another defeat.

Talon on the other hand looks like he was going to collapse any moment from now. He received a lot of injuries than I thought. A lashed on his shoulder, a claw from his chest, a scratch on his legs and many more injuries than I can count! He also lost a lot of blood, since that ground had several drops of acid blood, oh looks like he was going to die.

"Talon! Oh Talon are you ok?" I quickly rushed over him. Good thing he didn't reject my help anymore.

"I'm ok, Velius," He said as he tried to stand, but ended up falling.

"You know, you shouldn't push yourself too hard when battling Shaze. I know that the both of you hated each other to death but you know that it will lead to your end if you continue to fight him."

"Let him do what he wants. I couldn't care any less," he said with a smirk on his face.

"Talon you're on the "I-don't-want-to-live-anymore" attitude again. Look, there's more in life than just fighting and telling yourself that you're a monster. There's a lot more than you think."

"You're just saying that because you don't know what it's like to be born as a monster and an outcast with no one to tell you the main reason of your life than to serve and kill."

"I may not know how to live on your body but at least try to be grateful that you're alive!"

"AND HOW CAN I BE GRATEFUL WITH THIS KIND OF LIFE THEN?!"

"OPEN YOU'RE EYES TALON! THERE'S ALWAYS A REASON WHY EACH AND EVERY ONE OF US EXISTED IN THIS WORLD! EVEN IF WERE BORN MOSTERS!"

We ended up yelling at each other. We never fought before, until now. Since this argument was useless, Talon left the hive, forgetting the reason why he came in the first place. After he left, Sable appeared. This is so embarrassing, she heard me yelling.

"You heard everything?" I asked, even though that answer to that question was clear as day.

"I heard everything. And I can tell Talon was really upset."

"I really wish that I could do something about him."

"Better to leave him be. He'll calm down."

"It's not his anger I'm worried about," I said with a slight sadness. "I'm worried that someday he'll do something really stupid that'll put his life at stake."

"I'm sure he's just overreacting. We can't blame him if he was born that way."

At first I didn't say nothing because I feared that I might slip off our little secret that another reason he was like that was he misses his human friend, whom he lost a long time ago. I wanted to tell her about it, but I made I promise, and I'm keeping it no matter what.

Then I remembered that I was supposed to take a look at the abandoned human facility. I excused myself by telling that Sable that I have plans to follow Talon, even after a fight like that I still cared for him. I don't know whether she took me seriously because I know that I'm not good at making lies, especially to her. Lucky for me that she didn't noticed it. As I left the hive, I found out that it was already dark. It'll make it easier for me move around unnoticed.

As I arrived at the place, the whole area seems to be quiet, but perhaps too quiet. I entered it and saw that it hasn't even change, after several years of abandonment. I kept on wondering why he likes to visit this place. I first went to the human girl's chamber where she slept, and I found nothing, except the whole place looked clean. Talon often kept the human girl's chamber clean. Good thing he still has his reasons why he does it, it was to preserve his memory about her. Remembering the day after she left tore him apart. I could still remember that he often talks about her. I kind of feel bad for him, for he misses her. As I was about to leave, I saw a female human standing at the entrance. She held a terrified face as she saw me. I was ready to attack her but I stopped. There was something familiar about her. She has dark blue eyes, yellow hair, fair skin and a gentle face. Then suddenly it hit me. It was Talon's human friend!

Seraphins's P.O.V

I haven't seen Talon for quite a while since the day he confessed that he loved me. I missed him so much. The only time I felt that he was near was the time he delivered my regular time of receiving fruits, in which I don't even know where he gets them. Every time I open my door he quickly left before I could even have a chance say thank you to him. It hurts so much. Being alone in his place really left me so sad. The only thing I found amusing these days are making homemade dolls. I often thought about him, about how he treats me here during my stay, the way he would cuddle me, and the way he values our friendship. But even though were far apart, I could still feel his presence, as if he hasn't left. Each passing day, I could feel my heart being torn in half. I missed his company so much and there are those sleepless nights that those three words won't even leave my head. "I love you." I couldn't get them out no matter what. His voice haunts me to no end. Why am I starting to have feelings for him? I've only met him in just a short few months and starting to fall for him. Maybe I should accept the fact that I'm in love with him. But how am going to deal with my family? Can they live without me? Do they know that I'm still alive? So many questions are filling my head. Before I knew it, I ended up making a chibi looking doll of him. It looked cute but I find the stitches a little tight and I forgot to add his tail.

I left my room so I could try to clear out my thoughts. I went to the place where I know I could at least find peace. At the roof top of the facility. I even took the doll with me. It was dark when I arrived, but the stars kept the whole place a little bit bright so it wasn't a bit difficult for me to see. As I sat on the cold hard floor of the place, I stared at stars and thought about the secret I couldn't tell him. Since he told me he loved me, I was having difficulty whether if I should stay with him or not. The person who was waiting for me back at home has waited a long time for the special occasion that was supposed to happen after my camping trip. But I didn't love that person; I was just forced to agree on it. Since it was my father who had all arranged before he could actually tell me, it was already too late when I found out about it. I hugged the doll tighter at that thought. Could it actually mean that I love Talon more? Yes! I love him! I want to stay with him! I could be whole lot happier with him than with person I am about to be with. I would definitely love a monster that cared for me than a man who would never actually notice who I am. The next time I see him, I'll tell him how I really feel about him because he was more to me than a just friend.

As I was about to enter my room, I was paralyzed by fear when I saw a huge looking xenomorph!I thought that Talon told me that nobody but him could actually visit this place. When it suddenly turned to my direction, I could barely even breathe. I stood like a marble statue as it slowly approached me. As it slowly came nearer and nearer, I could feel that my tears are threatening to stream down my cheeks. Without thinking, I ran as fast as I can. But that thing kept on following me. Luckily the floor area was slippery, so I took my advantage on sliding on them each time I reached the stairs on my way down. But on the last flight, I ended up slipping and crashing right into a flower vase which was at the end of the stairs. I was badly hurt because I got wounded at my right arm and got a few cuts on my legs. Even though it hurt, I kept on running until I reached the forest. Oh what's going to happen to me?

Shaze's P.O.V

That no good abomination defeated me again! How could someone like him be so strong? He's different from the rest of us but mother made him the leader of the hive. I could have been the chosen one If he didn't came to our lives. I have always known that he was nothing but trouble.

As I kept pacing around the forest trying to think of a way to get my revenge on him, I caught a very unfamiliar scent. Blood? No, it was no ordinary blood, it was human blood. Now that's odd, as far as I know nobody reported that there was a human here.

I followed the scent until it finally lead me to a human female. The female was leaning a tree and was out of breath, as if she was trying to get away from something, or someone. She looked like she has been injured. Well that makes it an easy kill. When the female saw me, fear soon revealed itself. But I stopped when I saw how lovely she was. I crept closer so I can see her more clearly. She was beautiful.

"Pl-please don't kill me" she stuttered. I found it quite amusing to see how weak she appeared to be.

"Now why would I want to kill someone lovely as you?" I said as I slightly chuckled. Surely enough she couldn't hear me since she's human.

"So, are you sparing me?" she said. She could hear me?

"You could hear me?" I said, confuse.

"The same way I could see you so yes."

Now she's a very odd human but a rather attractive one as well. I slowly ran my claws in her lovely face. She soon froze as I did it. But then I suddenly heard the abominations voice screaming with fury.

"GET AWAY FROM HER!"

Talon's P.O.V

I was roaming around the forest when I suddenly saw Shaze with Seraphin. And she was hurt. I quickly rushed over her.

"GET AWAY FROM HER!" I screamed with fury. I should killed him when I had my chance if I had known he would do this to her. He just hurt my beloved.I tackled him into the ground until I had him pinned.

"What do you want now abomination?!" He yelled.

"Why did you hurt her?"

"The female human? Why do you even care? You're none other but a heartless killer!"

I didn't know what to say to him.

"Don't tell me. Is she one of the humans that once visited here?" he said. "That would explain you're odd behaviour."

"Shut up before I kill you!" I growled.

"You're in love with this human girl, right? That's why you kept her?"

I looked at Seraphin, whose face was still pale with fright and blood was coming out of her wounds. My eyes never left hers. Then Shaze manage to break free from my grip and quickly disappeared into the darkness. I wasn't worried whether he was going to tell my secret to the others because Seraphin was main concern right now. She then suddenly collapsed into the ground.

"Seraphin!"

I quickly rushed to her and held her in my arms as she tried to move.

"I'm sorry. I'm so so sorry," I said with pain. "I couldn't protect you from him."

"Talon?" she said, and suddenly she jumped unto me and pulled into a hug. "Please, promise not to leave me again?" I was a little surprise.

"I promise, my love" I said as I kissed her forehead. As I carried her back into the facility, she fell asleep. She looked so lovely. I tended her wounds and laid her down in her bed and watched over her. Eventually I began to feel sleepy, so pulled a chair near to bed and ended falling asleep holding her hand.

Woohoo! Longest chapter ever!

Talon's all cranky and stuff in this chapter.

Good thing there are still someone who care's for him.
