The day has come for Gemini to finally go on her date with Will. To say she was excited, would be the least. Arcana and Lily were both just as excited also, although they had been more excited because Gemini had agreed to them being allowed to pick what she was going to wear. Currently, the two girls were fighting over different outfits, while the other girl was watching them with amused eyes.
"She should wear this one!" Lily announced as she shoved a black and blue checkered miniskirt, and black camisole with a jean jacket over it and black stockings, Gemini's way. Gemini had to admit, it was cute. Arcana's eyes flared as she then shoved a pair of light blue skinny jeans and a grey shirt that's sleeves reached to her elbow, also Gemini's way.
"No way! She doesn't need something so girly. She'd look perfect in something so simple." Arcana argued.
"I doubt she wants to look plain." Lily said sarcastically. "Tell her Gem!"
"No, tell her!" Arcana exclaimed as the two girls looked over at the third girl who was sitting on the bed.
"To be honest, I think we should put them both together. You know, the skirt and stockings, with the grey shirt." Gemini said as she grabbed the certain clothing items she had called out and taking them to the bathroom with her so she could change into them. Lily and Arcana stared at the closed door with their eyes wide open.
"I still think mine was better." Arcana said in a sing song voice as she turned away to pick out her own clothes for the day. They had spent an hour picking and deciding on Gemini's outfit.
"No way, mine was 100x better." Lily scoffed, but then slightly grinned. It's a good thing this wasn't a serious competition, or WWIII was going to happen in their dorm. Arcana smiled lightly also. She so would have won the war.
"Tada." Gemini sang as she walked out of the bathroom. Arcana wolf whistled as she saw her friend. She had to admit, the outfit looked really cute.
"That's actually nice together." Lily said as she looked it up and down.
"Also, not to mention the fact it'll most likely pass Sirius' clothing inspection." Gemini pointed out with a nod and a smile. Sirius had set down some 'rules' for the date, and Gemini didn't exactly agree on some of them, but she did agree to go along with it just as long as he kept his mouth shut in the mean time.
"I don't see why you're going along with his stupid rules. What's he going to do if you don't?" Arcana questioned. Gemini gave her an incredulous look.
"Do you not know my brother? He will purposely ruin the date! He'd probably poison my breakfast so I wouldn't be able to go anywhere!" She exclaimed. There was no way she was going to chance her brother ruining her date one bit. Besides, if he did, she knew that Lily and Arcana would hunt him down and there would be no mercy. Especially if James ruined it too.
"I doubt he'd poison yo-"
"He will." Gemini deadpanned, cutting Lily off. Lily held her hands up in a defensive way before walking to the bathroom to change. Arcana giggled a bit as she turned to look at Gemini.
"I'm so glad I don't have a brother. Especially an older one. Poor Gem baby." Arcana cooed as she patted Gemini on the head. Gemini, not liking that, snapped at Arcana's hand. Arcana gasped as she quickly pulled her hand back to her. "No! Bad Gem!"
"I'm not a dog." Gemini muttered. Lily came out of the bathroom all dressed and Gemini shoved Arcana towards it. "Go! I'm starving and am not going to wait more than two minutes for you to get out of there." Arcana rolled her eyes as she walked into the bathroom.
When Arcana had come back out of the bathroom, the trio headed down to the Great Hall for breakfast. They assumed the boys were already there since they hadn't been waiting in the common room for them. Or maybe they were still sleeping. Nah, Remus wouldn't sleep this late, especially since we get to go to Hogsmeade today, Gemini thought to herself, then shrugged slightly as she thought up of something.
Sirius are you in the Great Hall yet? She sent the mind message to him. She waited a minute before sighing and deciding that he must've still been sleeping. A couple seconds later though, she finally got a reply.
Thanks a lot Gem. When you messaged me, I was taken by surprise and accidentily let out this weird yelp thing. Everyone was staring at me and I had to tell them I saw a spider under the table, and now all of Gryffindor thinks I'm scared of spiders. Sirius' annoyed voice said inside her head. Gemini couldn't help but start to giggle. She noticed the weird looks she was getting from Lily and Arcana, who were walking beside her. She smiled awkwardly.
If it makes you feel better, Lily and Arcana are staring at me like I belong in the St. Mungos mental ward. She sent back.
"Sorry, Sirius said something funny and I couldn't help but laugh." Gemini said as she pointed to her head, signaling to the girls what she was talking about. "They're all down there I think. Or at least Sirius is, and James and Remus most likely are too. Also Peter probably since he goes wherever they go." Lily and Arcana nodded.
When the girls reached the Great Hall, they immediately spotted the boys and headed over to them. Gemini started to laugh again as she noticed all the weird stares some people were giving Sirius. Although, there were a couple girls who were trying to coo Sirius.
"You're afraid of spiders? Don't worry, so am I." One of the girls, Teri, said as she ran her hand down Sirius' arm.
"Yeah, there's nothing to be embarrassed about." Another one of the girls, Kayla soothed. The trio of girls shared amused looks at Sirius' annoyed one. When her brother and the guys finally noticed them, Sirius' face lit up.
"Arcana my love! You've come for me!" Sirius exclaimed as he practically shoved the girls away and jumped up to greet Arcana. The girls scowled as they got up to move back to their own friends.
"I don't get what he sees in her." Kayla muttered.
"Yeah, she's probably just a bimbo." Teri mumbled after. Arcana, having overheard them, turned to look and smiled sweetly at them.
"At least I have his attention." She said. The girls looked appalled and stormed away. Gemini rolled her eyes at her friend and sat down across from Remus to eat. She immediately went to grab some bacon, before she realized there was none left.
"Dammit Remus! Leave some bacon for me next time." She exclaimed as she noticed almost every single piece of bacon was on Remus' plate. She tried swiping some from his plate but he snapped at her hand when she tried. "Remus!" She whined.
"My bacon." He muttered, leaning over his plate to hide the bacon from her. Gemini mentally grinned before making her bottom lip quiver, and bringing out the puppy eyes.
"Remus." She said again. He pursed his lips. There was no way he was going to fall for the guilt trip. "Remus." Absolutely no way. "Remus." Can she not take the hint? "Remus." No! "Remus." Oh crap.
"Fine!" Remus said exasperated. "Take some damn bacon."
"Thanks Moony!" Gemini exclaimed with a grin as she took basically half his bacon.
"Whish." James made the sound effect with his mouth as he mimicked cracking a whip. Remus blushed lightly and rolled his eyes. Thank Merlin, Gemini was too into the bacon to be paying attention.
When breakfast was over, it was time for them to head out to Hogsmeade. Gemini was supposed to be meeting up with Will at the place where they leave for Hogsmeade. Before they left the hall, Gemini had asked what the others were going to do. Lily and Arcana decided to go shopping, James and Sirius were going to Zonkos, but were going to most likely stalk the girls, and Remus and Peter were going to the bookstore.
"Will!" Gemini said with a grin as they finally reached the gate. Will, who had currently been conversing with another Ravenclaw, turned when he heard his name called. Seeing that it was Gemini, he smiled and waved her over to him.
"Gemini, hey. This is my friend, Cody Fink." Will introduced his Ravenclaw friend. Gemini and Cody shook hands. Cody had curly black hair that reached a little before his shoulders, and he was tall and pale.
"Nice to meet you Cody." Gemini said with a smile as she shook his hand.
"Nice to meet you too Gemini." Cody said with a nod. "Anyways Will, I better get going. The guys are going to take the carriages and I don't want to miss it." Will nodded as Cody walked off.
"Are we taking a carriage with my friends?" Gemini questioned. They never exactly talked about how they were going to get to Hogsmeade. Will grinned slyly.
"Actually, I was hoping we'd walk there. So we can spend time just talking that way, since there'd be nothing else for us to do." He said.
"Really? But Hogsmeade is two miles away. That'd take us an hour to get there by walking." Gemini pointed out.
"I'll buy you some candy from Honeydukes." Will sang. Gemini gasped.
"Well we better get walking then!" She exclaimed as she began dragging Will the way to Hogsmeade. "Bye guys! See you later." She shouted to her friends. They all waved as her and Will disappeared from their sight.
"I don't like this." Sirius muttered as he watched his sister disappear with the Ravenclaw prefect. Everyone glanced over to see where he was looking. Arcana snorted in laughter.
"Yeah well neither does Remus." She said, pointing towards said boy. He was currently glaring daggers at the way Gemini and Will had disappeared. "Nor James." James was glaring too.
"Yeah but James' is in a brotherly way." Lily giggled, reminding everyone of the fact about Remus' feelings towards the young female Black.
"You know what boys," Sirius said as he glanced towards Remus, whose face now bore one of sadness. "I think Will could use a lesson in what happens when you try and steal a Marauder from the other Marauders." Arcana, overhearing him, glared.
"No! You will not ruin her date! She's excited, and happy. If you at all do anything to ruin this, I. Will. Ruin. You." She said as her eyes flared, poking Sirius' chest at each of the last four words. "Now if you'll excuse us, Lily and I will be waiting in the carriage." With that, Lily and Arcana walked away, leaving the boys to themselves.
"You guys are so going to ruin it aren't you?" Peter asked as he noticed the evil grins on Sirius and James' faces.
"Of course! We wouldn't be Marauders if we don't!" James shouted.
"No but you guys would be slightly more normal if you didn't." Remus mumbled, but was actually grateful that his friends wanted to ruin the date.
"Where's the fun in being normal?!"
"Come on Will! Let's go to Honeydukes!" Gemini exclaimed as the duo finally reached Hogsmeade. The course of their walk had actually taken a little under an hour thankfully. The second they got there though, Gemini's eyes were set on Honeydukes.
"Alright Gem." Will chuckled as he let the girl drag him there. The two had talked about 90% of the walk, and Will had finally felt comfortable enough to call her Gem like her friends do. Right now he considered himself her friend, but hopefully by the end of the date, he'd be something more.
Honeydukes hadn't changed much since their last visit except for a couple of new goods. Immediately, Gemini had been drawn to the chocolate based candy while Will had to the candy floss. Gemini, noticing Will at the candy floss, grinned slightly. The muggle type was delicious, but the magical type was even better. Every time you'd take a little from it, it'd change colors, and lasted longer than the muggle kind did. As Gem's eyes searched over the new chocolate items, her eyes were caught on a certain item.
"Hey Will, have you ever tried these?" She questioned, holding up a box of something called Crater's Rock Chocolate. Will, studying it, shook his head.
"No. Cody did before though I think. He said it was pretty good." He answered. Gemini grinned slyly.
"Well looks like we both can try it together then." She said, putting on her cute face. Will, still looking at all the other candy, shook his head slightly.
"No thanks, I'm not a fan of chocolate." He said.

...
Gemini could literally see a tumbleweed pass by the shop window.
"How can you not like chocolate?!"
All of Hogsmeade could hear her scream.
"Did you guys hear that?" Remus questioned as he and the boys looked around Zonkos. Sirius nodded looking around.
"Was it just me or did it sound like Gem?"
"I think you guys are just imagining crap. Now, help pick out our pranks!" James exclaimed, not hearing anything and looking at the products. Remus and Sirius shared looks before shrugging and continuing to help look.
"I don't know. It just tastes weird to me." Will said, staring at Gemini in slight fear. Gemini, who was too busy being confused to be embarrassed, started on a rant.
"Chocolate is the most delicious sweet ever! It's got different types too which makes it even better!" She continued on and on and on for the next couple of minutes. Will just stood there watching her with an amused look. This girl took her chocolate very seriously.
"Are you done now?" He questioned as he noticed Gemini quieted and was taking deep breaths. She had pretty much talked all of her oxygen away.
"For now." She answered. Will chuckled a bit, making Gemini smile, and finally blush in embarrassment. "I can't believe I just talked about chocolate for five straight minutes."
"Don't worry. It was really interesting to watch." Will said as he grabbed some candy floss, and the Crater's Rock Chocolate that Gemini had been holding, and headed to the counter to buy the candy. Gemini, still embarrassed, followed with her hand slightly covering her red face. She was really disappointed though. How could he not like chocolate?!
"Thanks Will." Gemini said gratefully as she took the chocolate from him and stuffed it in her bag. Maybe she'll share it with Remus since he's her actual chocolate buddy. "Where to next?" Will made a humming noise as he wrapped his arm around Gemini. Said girl couldn't help but feel slightly giddy as she felt his arm.
"How about The Three Broomsticks? I could really go for a butterbeer." Will answered as the duo began walking towards said place. The two though, never had a clue about a small group of boys following them.
The butterbeer was good as always. Gemini grinned happily as she felt the taste on her tongue. Will was watching her and smiled. She looked so adorable with that look on her face. Plop.
"What was that?" Gemini muttered as she heard the sound. Will, who hadn't heard the sound, nor what Gem had said, took a sip of his butterbeer.
"So, did you have fun today?" He asked. Before they had actually gotten to The Three Broomsticks, they had stopped by the Shrieking Shack and had played a friendly game of tag, courtesy of Gemini starting it. Oddly though, Will had tripped a couple of times over his own feet. Guess he's a bit on the clumsy side.
"Yeah, I really enjoyed it today. Best date ever." Gemini said with a grin, mumbling the last sentence to herself.
"I had fun too." Will said with his own grin. Gemini's eyes widened as she stared at Will. Will, noticing her huge eyes, looked at her questioningly. "What's the matter? Do I have something on my face?" He started to feel his face, checking to see if there was something there.
"No it's just...your teeth. They're," Gemini paused as she cocked her head to the side. "Purple." She pulled out a small compact mirror out of her bag, courtesy of Arcana, and handed it to Will. Opening it quickly, Will looked at his teeth, only to see that Gemini was correct. Somehow, his teeth had become purple.
"Holy shit." He muttered. "But how...?"
"Maybe there's something wrong with your drink." Gemini offered as she pulled her drink over to her to look in it. It looked the same as any regular butterbeer. Sniffing it though, she realized something was off with it. It smelled more sweet than it should. She was really tempted to drink it, but decided against it. "I think someone sabotaged your drink." Will looked at her incredulously.
"How though? I never left it alone since I got it. Also, Madam Rosmerta wouldn't pull a trick like this." Will said. Gemini shrugged lightly before sniffing the butterbeer again. The smell was so familiar to her. Then, the light bulb went off.
"I know this! It's Teeth Spazzler. It changes your teeth to a random color ever couple minutes until you're able to brush it all off." She said as she recalled the product. "They sell it in Zonkos." Will's teeth changed orange. "My brother always used to play this trick on my roommate Arcana." Will sighed.
"Well, even though I'm sure I still look awesome with color changing teeth, I think I'm going to go try and get this off. I'll be right back." Will said with an apologetic face. Gemini nodded and Will left the table, heading for the bathroom. Not even five seconds had passed before Will's seat had been taken by a very familiar face.
"Hello sister dear!" Sirius' beaming face said with a grin. Gemini smiled before her eyes turned dangerous.
"I know it was you." She deadpanned. Sirius' eyes widened slightly, but quickly changed back to normal as he put a confused look on.
"What do you mean?" He asked. Gemini grabbed his tie and pulled his face close to hers, her eyes flaring dangerous.
"Using Teeth Spazzler on Will. You always used that on Arcana, and I know for a fact Madam Rosmerta would never sabotage someone's drink, and I heard a plop before Will's teeth changed color. You're using James' invisibility cloak to ruin my date aren't you?" She asked, even though she already knew the answer. Sirius audibly gulped.
"Uh well-" He stuttered.
"Sirius! There you are! Come on! My Lily Flower is needing her knight in shining armor to save her from the boys flocking around both her and Arcana!" James exclaimed as he appeared out of no where and dragged Sirius away. Gemini, bewildered by that, stared wide eyed at the spot Sirius had been just seconds prior.
"That kid is the weirdest kid I've ever met." Gemini said as she stuck her face in her hands.
"Who? James?" Came another voice as another new person slid into the seat across from her. Gemini looked up and sighed in relief.
"Thank Merlin it's you Remus. I couldn't take another weirdo." She said. Remus grinned.
"Ah so you did mean James." He chuckled. Gemini smiled slightly. "Where's Will?"
"Bathroom. Sirius and most likely James pulled a stupid prank on him, so he's trying to get the prank to wear off." Gemini answered. Remus nodded, trying to look concerned.
"That's too bad." He said. Gemini nodded.
"Yeah, anyways, what did you want? I figured you and Peter would be at Honeydukes or something." She said.
"Oh, I was just wondering how the date was going. Pete and I had been passing by when I saw James drag Sirius off to somewhere, and Peter went with them." Remus answered.
"That's sweet of you Remus. It was going just fine until Sirius decided to be a jerk." Gemini muttered. Will had returned to the table then, but someone had been following him.
"Will you're back." Gemini grinned, but her smile faltered a little as she saw the person with him. "Oh hi Cody." Cody nodded as a greeting..
"Gem, I think I'm going to head back to Hogwarts with Cody. His date ditched him a little while ago, also, I need a toothbrush to get all of the Teeth Spazzler off." Will said, giving a very apologetic look. Gemini frowned disappointed.
"Oh okay. Well, I'll walk outside with you." She said then looked at Remus. "I'll be right back." Remus held his hands up and made an expression as, go ahead. Gemini smiled and walked outside with Will and Cody.
"Sorry for canceling the date so early. I'm pretty much Cody's only friend and didn't want him to walk back to Hogwarts by himself." Will said as he and Gemini walked to the side of The Three Broomsticks so they could just talk quickly.
"It's okay, friends always come first." Gemini said as she waved it off. "I had a lot of fun though." She held her hand out, with her fingers spread apart. Will, getting the hint, laced his hand in hers and smiled.
"I did too. We should do this again next Hogsmeade trip." He said. Gemini nodded. "Alright, I should get going now." Gemini bit her lip slightly as she didn't want Will to actually go. Making a very daring move, Gemini pushed her head forward slightly and collided her lips with Will's.
As the two kissed for a couple of seconds, neither noticed the six pairs of eyes that had just so happened to look their way at that very exact second.
Oh no, Arcana and Lily had thought at the same time.
He better get his lips off my sister! Sirius thought.
Oh shit, was James' thought.
I could go for a chocolate frog right now, Peter's thought was.
Guess I lost, was Remus' heart broken thought.
I FINALLY UPDATED! I seriously had not meant to go so long since my last update. In all honestly, July had been a pretty busy month for me, and in August, I started watching a lot of anime again so that kept me busy. I'M SO SORRY! Also, I'm sorry if this chapter hadn't turned out the way some of you had hoped. I really rushed it. Although, this is probably the longest chapter I've wrote, it's almost 4K words I believe.
Anyways! Sorry again for not updating in so long! I just need to think up what next chapter should be. Any suggestions would be most appreciated! Thanks!
