A/N: Sorry for grammar mistakes :S

Jade laughed. This was why Robbie was her best friend; he always had a way to make her feel happy. If she wasn't gay they'd be dating, she'd make sure of that. Maybe he wasn't the best looking guy around L.A but he was the sweetest guy ever, sometimes silly but sweet. She remembered that time when Robbie told her he liked her, oh sweet Jesus she had a good laugh that day. She tried to make it not-awkward, they were only fourteen and they spent almost every second of the day together but Robbie got over his little "crush" not even a week later, so they were good now. Robbie had crushes on other girls and Jade had crushes on other girls and that's how they worked. Not that Robbie knew, but whatever.

Speaking of crushes…

"Hold up, remember that night I called you?" Robbie asked while he tried to pick his sushi.

"Uh… the night of the whole Cat thing?" the curly haired guy nodded, "what's up with it?"

"Jade, we're best friends… uh, right?" The Goth had a bad feeling about this whole thing. The only time she heard Robbie asking that question was when he told her he had a crush on her, but now Robbie had a crush on Cat so she was totally clueless about what could be going through his friend's mind at this moment. She slowly nodded. "And we don't keep secrets from each other right?"

Guilt. Maybe that's the name of that feeling that invaded Jade's chest.

"Yeah… Your point?"

"Nothing, just checking" he said shaking his head.

If this was a movie, the back thriller-music would be gone. Jade was a little confused, did Robbie suspect something or not?

"Anyways, I have another question" Oh, great.

"Oh?"

"What was Tori Vega doing sitting next to us? I mean, I knew she was your tutor, I didn't know she was your friend too"

Honestly Jade didn't know either. She was acting all weird, and distant but they weren't friends, so Tori couldn't be acting "distant" if she never acted, or was, "close". Robbie thought they were friends, were they really? Maybe it was because she had a huge crush on her but she felt like she could tell Tori everything, sure the half-Latina didn't feel that way, but who cared?

So, if Jade trust Tori, and Tori sat in the same table as her even though she acted totally odd for the entire day, did- did that make them friends?

"I don't really know Rob, we- we aren't friends" That's it, keep on denying it.

"Kay, it was just really odd to have Cat sitting there, I'm not complaining, it was just odd" Jade chuckled.

"Finish your raw fish quickly so I can go home, geeky"

"Cat's right, you're bossy" Robbie murmured.

"You just said what boy?"

"I'm talking to the fish"

"Sure you are Robert"

To say Jade was bored wasn't enough, she was so, so, bored she even consider going to the library that was 15 blocks from her house only to read a damn book, what a joke. Saturday night and she had nothing, nothing to do.

Jade sighed. She grabbed a random notebook from her bag and threw it to her bed, and then she looked for her pencil case and took a pen from it. She lifted herself from the floor and lied on her bed facing the ceiling. What to write? What to write?!

About Tori…

No thanks, too risky. She ended up drawing on the corners of the page; a little house, a few trees, some flowers and a couple of so called "clouds" and voilá! Jade's drawing, or whatever it was supposed to be, was done.

"Hey Jade" her mom called from downstairs, "I'm going out, help your brother studying for his test this Monday, please hun. Thanks lock the door"

"What? No, no wait, there's no way in the world I'm going to-"

"Okay then, give me your car keys" Jade could feel her mother smirking, damn smirks.

Since she didn't want to have to take the bus or walk to every place she wanted to go, she gave in. Jade sighed, walked her way downstairs and locked the door, not before giving her mother the glare.

"Okay little jerk, where are you?"

Jade went to the only place she knew her brother would be: in front of the TV, sitting on the couch while typing something into his laptop. She rolled her eyes, if it was in her hands she'd let the kid do whatever the heck he wanted, go upstairs and lock herself in her room. But nope, damn kid had damn teachers that had the damn idea of a test. Why couldn't they leave the kids alone? Didn't the teachers know they had older sisters who had best thing to do?

Jade sighed.

"You have to study" She stated.

"Yup" Was the only answer Jade got. This boy is getting to my nerves…

"Look, let's just make this the easy way, go and study, I'd go to my room and we won't bother each other"

"Sounds good to me" Not even one movement.

"Gregory, I'm serious, get your fucking ass off that couch"

"I'm gonna tell mom you said a word!" He couldn't be serious. She heard worst thing from his TV shows or from his room when his friends came over. Sure he was kidding, that stupid grin of his betrayed him.

"Wipe that smiley face and move!"

With a laugh and a final sound between a growl and a sigh, Jade's brother got off the couch and walked to the hall, hopefully to get his stuff.

If Jade ever wanted to change her last name and start a new life in Australia, far away from her brother, she totally could. They were nothing alike. Starting from their hair; his was a natural dark-brown color, while she had to dyed hers (not for fitting, of course); then there was their eyes, his were brown… yes brown. Plain brown; facial's he definitely had more of their father's family, which showed everyday more… Jade didn't want him to grow, what if she someday woke up with a mini-dad sitting on the couch? Nope.

"Jade, you're gonna make dinner?"

"No if you don't know the whole book in an hour, I'm checking" And with that she went upstairs. She just knew her brother rolled her eyes.

What? Maybe it was a little of a habit to leave him studying or doing his homework alone, but for geez-sake the boy needed to start developing some self-sufficiency.

She lay in her bed, the words Robbie said the day before still going through her mind. Tori Vega, her friend? But dude, she was pissed!

She never had a girl-friend, but it couldn't that different from having a boy-friend, right? When someone is pissed at you, they're not your friends… Of course that only applied if you just met, or in this case started talking, to the person.

Jesus Vega!

"Jade, you can't let the poor kid starve like that!"

Wait, what kid? Starving? Hold on, who was the one talking?

Oh sweet Jesus, mom will kill me!

"Jadelyn West, sleeping while your little brother is downstairs studying and hungry? Unbelievable" Hey! That wasn't her mom's voice! She opened her eyes only to find her best friend standing on the door frame with a playful glare on his face.

"Robbie, God damn it, you almost gave me a heart attack!" Jade sat on her bed and threw a pillow at her curly hair's friend.

"Ouch! What was that for?"

"I told you, I almost had a- you know what? Never mind, where's my brother?"

"Downstairs"

"Right"

She made her way downstairs, ready to yell at her brother for opening the door at this time of the night without her permission, but when she got to the kitchen, where the table was, she gasped clearly surprised.

"Hey Jade" the redhead girl greeted.

What the hell?!

"Uhm, hi… Look I don't wanna be rude but why exactly are you in my house?" Jade asked a little more aggressively than she wanted.

"Well, Robbie said-"but before the girl could explain anything she spotted her brother.

"Oh there you are lil' bug!" She exclaimed before heading to the living room in which her brother was yet again watching TV.

She walked straight to the thing and turned it off.

"Hey! What are you doing?! First you don't make dinner and now you won't let me watch TV!"

"Oh now you're the victim, you knew very well where I was, why on Earth you called Robbie?!"

"He didn't call me, your mom did" The boy said making Jade grown.

"That's just great, I'm gonna be punished for life"

Her mom usually did this, she called Robbie. It didn't start to long ago though. The first time when she went out for one of her important job's meeting. Jade and her brother had to stay alone for only an hour, which until her mom's partners decided to extent the reunion. So one hour turned into two. It was almost night and the next day both had school, Jade wanted to take a bath but was unsure of what to do. Her mother told her she'd be calling her 'soon' and that had been like forty minutes ago. Deciding she could take a shower in less than ten minutes she went into the bath.

How wrong was she. When she looked at her phone she had ten missed calls from her mother, TEN freaking calls from her mother. Then she saw two missed calls from Robbie. She checked the time and sure, fifty minutes had pasted.

When she opened the door she heard people talking. At first her blood froze; buglers? Then she heard that familiar and weird laugh. Robbie.

"Hey don't worry, Cat already cooked something for him and I was helping him with science" Oh so that was the test about.

Wait, there still was something odd. Oh right, the redhead one.

"Uhm Robbie, can I talk to you for a minute?" She needed her answers.

They walked to the door so neither Cat nor Jade's brother could hear them. Or at least that's what the Goth hoped.

"What is she doing here?!" Jade hissed once they were alone.

For a weird reason, Robbie's cheeks turned red.

"Well, me and Cat were hanging out when your mom called" That explained it "And I needed a ride, so she said she said she could help me with that"

"All right… Now you both can leave" Jade said with a harsh tone. It wasn't any fun waking up to almost a heart attack and to have one of the popular girls in your house when it was all messy.

She sighed. Only more stuff people, especially girls, could use to piss her off. Awesome.

"I guess so, Tori has been waiting outside long enough"

Said what?!

He couldn't be serious! He must had been kidding!

"Sure" her voice full of sarcasm.

"Really, Cat called her and asked if she could give us a lift and Tori remind her she didn't have a license-" Tori didn't have a license yet? Hum, nice excuse to spend more time with her. "But Tori said she'd ask Trina, her sister, if she could take us all, and apparently it took her a little of-"

"Your point" Jade said in the most Jade-way possible.

"She's outside waiting" he answered with his hands together. Typical Robbie-gesture.

"So you're telling me you left Tori outside while you were here?" Robbie nodded helpless "Why didn't you just invite her in or something?"

"Well she said no…" Jade rolled her eyes at her best friend's logic.

"When a girl says no it usually means yes Robbie!"

She opened the door and walked outside. Sure enough, there was Tori sitting on her porch staring at the night sky. Oh how Jade wished she had a camera at that very moment.

A/N: Heeeey guys! Merry late Christmas everybody! Hope you had a great time :D I did n_n Consider this my late Christmas gift and my advanced New Years gift (yeah I might be the only person on Earth who gives New Years gifts but whatever…)

That said, let's go to your favorite part of my updates (w'all know it is, don't lie):

MY ROMANTICLESS LIFE UPDATE: So, for this new year I diced I'm gonna try to move on over this HUGE crush I have over my friend just because it's absolutely NOT healthy, and I'm making myself feel so worthless. Yeah, ridiculous right? Yeah texted me a week ago saying she had a huge problem and really, really, REALLY needed me (The problem is still uhm… "going on", and trust me it's not cool at all… I think I read a fanfic –Jori one, by the way- about this same situation here… Yeah, that bad). You know what's the problem? I don't feel there's friendship between us, or at least not as much as she claims we have built over this last three years we've know each other. Yeah three freaking years, so what? I've know my best friend for three years now too and I really wouldn't like to become her enemy because she knows ABSOLUTLY everything about me. EVERYTHING.

So, let's sum it up like this: She has a boyfriend and they are doing great together, and the dude is totally sweet and handsome, so they are not breaking up anytime soon. I can't live hoping someday my friend would wake up "deciding" (I don't think homosexuality it's a decision, but you know lack of dictionaries) she's lesbian and that she magically would break up with her almost-dreamed boyfriend and ask me out. Ooh… No, what the hell, I'm not that crazy.

I'm not saying you shouldn't dream! I'm just saying you also gotta live, and have fun, enjoy with your friends, etc, etc, ETC. And I can't do any of those because all I do is feel bad about this whole situation.

So! Now my group of friends know, I'm starting in a new class (when you get to 9th grade here you can choose between studying Science –biology, chemistry, more math's, etc- or Socials –geography, history which I hate by the way, more literature, also psychology, economy, meh. I chose Science… well technically both are science but people there's not literal translation, I'm trying here. My point, I'm gonna meet new people, get to make new friends and start all fresh from a new page. Oh yeah, all my friends are going to Socials / Human's Studies (my most accurate translation but I don't know peebs…).

I don't wanna cry over a girl, neither a boy! I love her, I'm absolutely in love with her, even though I may not totally understand the meaning of the word but that's what life is about right? Discovering!

I won't keep you guys any longer, hope you enjoyed this chapter, I tried to make it a bit longer. If everything goes right the new chapter should be up in two weeks or less ;D

See y'all :DDD

P.S: Thanks for ALL your reviews and fav's and follows and AAAAAAH! You're amazing! :)

Now, here's a question? (New section on my A/N haha):

Who's cuter?

Cade or Jori?

Why I'm asking? Oh you know… just random ;) (NOT!)
