Recap: The Titans go to Jump City Park to play Manhunt. Starfire wins the game and Raven collapses. Raven has an encounter with a demon forming inside her and visits Nevermore. Robin and Starfire have a cute moment.
Beast Boy's POV
Today has been very stressful for me. I just wanted this day to end. Last night I kept having nightmares about Raven and other bullshit. That's why I kept secluding myself from the group. I hate seeing Raven in pain or any of my friends in pain. Plus I was exhausted since I didn't get any sleep last night. I didn't mean to take out any of my attitude on Raven.
Sighing, I got up from my bed then shuffled to the door. I began to walk to the infirmary. I wonder if she's mad at me. I hope not. I got to the door and hesitated. I opened the door and I was shocked. There was Raven. But she wasn't herself. She was shaking uncontrollably and had this dark red aura around her. It made my blood turn cold. Raven was trying to walk, but collapsed. "RAVEN!" I screamed. "SHIT!" I yelled. I ran out of the room and headed straight to Robin's room.
"ROBIN OPEN UP NOW! IT'S AN EMERGENCY!" I yelled, banging on the door. I heard some shuffling and he opened the door. His hair was wet and he had on tan cargo shorts. Guess I interrupted him right when he was changing. Oops. "What is it Beast Boy?" He asked. "Raven collapsed!" I said. Robin had a neutral expression. "Alright, let's go." He said.
(Time Jump)
Raven was lying on the bed looking paler than usual. I pulled up a chair and sat next to her. Should I grab her hand? Cyborg was checking the monitor. "Well, she's in stable condition for now." Cyborg said. "What do you mean for now?" I demanded angrily. "Friends please do not argue!" Star said. I scoffed. "Starfire this isn't really the time right now." Robin admitted. Her eyes scanned Raven for a second and tears welled up in her eyes. "Excuse me friends." She said her voice cracking slightly. She walked out of the room not uttering a word. Robin sighed and pinched the bridge of his nose. "I just hope she is okay." I whispered. "What do you think happened to her?" Cyborg asked. "Do you think it has something to do with Trigon?" I suggested. Robin shook his head. "No, it's something more than that. Maybe it is a side of her that she has been suppressing from us for so long. She probably had it under control but for so long." Robin acknowledged. I tensed up. It can't be. I refuse to believe it.
"I don't know what it is. But it has made her really weak. Her blood levels had been dropping rapidly and her heart rate is slow." Cyborg said, showing us the monitor. Robin and I glanced at each other in worry. Robin cares about Raven a lot. They have one of the closest bonds in the Tower. "Well, at least she's getting some rest." I said, looking at her. I watched her chest rise and fall as her violet hair was sprawled all over the soft white pillow.
She looked so serene, so peaceful. Did I just say peaceful? I shook these thoughts out of my mind. "Let's just leave her alone for now." Robin decided. "It's best if we just let her get some rest and time to herself." He also added. I nodded unresponsively. "Well, I'm going to get something from In and Out Burger. You wanna come with?" Cyborg offered. "I'll go with you. We might as well get out of the tower." Robin said rising from his chair. "Would you like to come along Beast Boy?" He asked.
"Nah, I'm good. Just get me a grilled cheese, some fries, and a coke" I said. They both gave me dap and walked out of the infirmary. I grabbed Raven's hand. Her hand was ice cold. "You're going to be okay Raven. I promise." I said, taking my other hand and rubbing my thumb across her cheek.
Robin's POV
Cyborg and I walked down to the garage and got in the car. "You think Raven is going to be okay?" Cyborg asked, putting the car in drive. I sent a text to Star telling her where Cyborg and I were going. "I'm not sure. I know something is wrong, I just don't know what it is." I said, running a hand through my hair. I just messed up my hair a little bit, but oh well. "Hopefully, she won't be acting like this during school." Cyborg retorted. "We have to keep our identities under wraps. We have to use our real names." I stated. Cyborg tensed. He was gripping the steering wheel tightly. "No." He said curtly. "Cyborg, I'm serious." I said facing him. He stopped at a red light and turned to me.
All I saw in his eyes was fury and regret. "I can't do that Robin." He muttered. I sighed and he began to drive again. Cyborg pulled into an empty parking space. We silently walked out of the car and into In and Out Burger. Cyborg ordered the food and got the number from the employee. We walked around until we found an empty table. We sat down in silence.
"You know you're going to have to talk about this sooner or later." I stated breaking the silence. Cyborg ignored me and looked away. He'll talk eventually. Let me not pressure him though. The employee called our number and Cyborg grabbed the food.
Cyborg took out the car keys and opened the doors. I got inside and slammed the door. He got in and followed. The engine roared to life and Cyborg began driving. I took out my iPhone 5 and began glancing at my messages and emails. Some Type of Way by Rich Homie Quan was playing in the background.
Cyborg sighed. "You know what Robin? I will give this school thing a try." He decided. I let out a breath I didn't even know I was holding. "Thanks man." I said, patting him on the back. He gave me a forced smile. He pulled up in the garage and killed the engine. I got out of the car and I grabbed the food and followed.
"Do you think Beast Boy is still with Raven?" I asked. Cyborg gave me a 'what do you think look'. "He's like half in love with her. Why did you even ask that?" Cyborg said, dripping sarcasm. I shrugged. I texted Beast Boy and Starfire saying we were back. We walked into the main room and saw Beast Boy and Star were sitting on the couch. Cyborg cleared his throat. "About damn time, I was getting hungry." Beast Boy said. I rolled my eyes. I threw him the bag of food and he caught it.
"How's Raven doing?" I asked. "She is doing better. She woke up while you guys were out." Beast Boy said. I nodded. This is good news. "I talked to her; she seems to be doing well." Star said. "Good." Cyborg said. We all sat down on the couch and ate our food. "Damn Cyborg! You need to chill! Save some for Raven!" Beast Boy shouted. Cyborg rolled his eyes and Star started laughing. "There is still some food left for her." Cyborg said in between mouthfuls. "Yeah, OKAY!" Beast boy said sarcastically. "That reminds me, Star can you please bring some of this food to Raven?" I asked. Star nodded. "That food is for her, right there." I said, gesturing to the food.
She grabbed the food and left the main room. "Where's the remote?" Beast Boy asked. We're always losing the tv remote. "Check in between the couch cushions." Cyborg ordered. Beast Boy took the food off his lap and put it on the table in front of us. He crouched on the ground, searching for the remote. "Did you find it yet?" I asked. "Nope." Beast Boy said. Cyborg groaned loudly. "I'll get the spare." Cyborg said, getting up from the couch. "I didn't know we had a spare." Beast Boy said rising from the floor.
"We've always had one." I stated. Beast Boy sucked his teeth. Starfire came back into the room and sat down on the couch. "How's Raven?" Beast Boy asked. "She is fine. She was really hungry." Star answered. "This is great. At least she had something to eat." I said. Beast Boy nodded in agreement. "So what are we doing tonight?" Star asked. "I don't know. We start school tomorrow and we have to be there by 8:15. We all need to get some rest." Robin announced. Beast Boy groaned loudly. "Why does school have to start so damn early?" Beast Boy grumbled. "I don't know why you're complaining. We've had to do patrols earlier than that." I shot back.
Star started laughing and Beast Boy began pouting. "That's not funny." He said still pouting. "Yeah, yeah whatever. You want to play Call of Duty?" I asked him. Beast Boy smirked. "You ain't even have to ask me." He said. I grabbed two Xbox 360 controllers and threw one to him. "May I play the Call of Duty?" Star asked. "I don't think you could handle it Star." Beast Boy and I said simultaneously. Star put her hands on her hips. "Is it because I am a girl?" Star said angrily. "That's exactly it." Beast Boy said turning on the tv.
"I have proved you wrong plenty of times." Star said. Maybe we should let her play. "Fine, Star you can play. But if you lose, don't start complaining." I accepted. Star smiled and kissed my cheek. "Thank you Robin." She whispered in my ear. My cheeks turned hot pink. Beast Boy glanced at me with a raised eyebrow but I ignored him. "I'll get you a controller." I said, flustered. Beast Boy got up and pressed the power button on the Xbox. He sat back down on the couch and waited for the gaming system to power up. I got up and got Star a controller.
(Time Jump)
I can't believe Star beat us seven times. "How did you- beat us?" Beast Boy stuttered. "Damn." I muttered. How did she beat us? Star smirked. "You thought I would not win." Star said smugly. "You don't have to rub it in." I said. Star stuck her tongue out at me. I rolled my eyes and mushed her head. "Robin, stop it! It took me forever to do my hair." She said. Star frantically began to run her fingers through her hair. "Girls." Beast Boy mumbled. The clock read 2:42. "Where's Cyborg?" BB asked. "He's in the garage fixing the T-car." I said.
(Time Jump and switches back to Raven's POV)
I was feeling a little bit better. I was feeling all queasy until Starfire gave me something to eat. Also, my strength was returning. I'm hungry. The clock read 6:50. "Are we going out to eat or staying home?" I grumbled. Whatever. I sat up and got out of bed. Then, I walked out of the infirmary and began going to the main room. I walked inside and saw Beast Boy, Star, and Robin all sitting on the couch watching Wildin' Out. I shuffled quietly trying not to be noticed. I grabbed the tea kettle, a cup, and a tea bag. Next, I filled the tea kettle with water and placed it on the stove under medium fire.
"Hey Raven, can you get me the Fritos from the shelf." Beast Boy suddenly said. I rolled my eyes. "You have legs. Go ahead and use them." I snapped. "Why are you catching an attitude for?" He shot back. "If you want something go get it yourself. Otherwise you don't want it at all." I retorted. He rolled his eyes and began mumbling angrily. Robin and Starfire seemed to be oblivious to our conversation. The tea kettle was whistling loudly and I turned off the fire. I took it off the stove and poured some water into my cup and threw a tea bag in.
Beast Boy got up and walked passed me. Don't think I didn't notice the glare he gave me either. He grabbed the Fritos and shoved them into my face. "There! I GOT THEM NOW! HAPPPY?!" He shouted sarcasm dripping from every word. I started shaking uncontrollably and Beast Boy knew it because he moved back slowly. The Fritos in his hand exploded all over him with a loud bang.
Robin turned around and looked beet red in the face. He stormed over to us, forgetting the show he was watching. "WHAT THE FUCK IS THIS?!" He shouted gesturing to the mess "we" made. Beast Boy and I said nothing and just stared at him. "Well, are you just going to stare at me like I'm a dumbass or speak?" Robin exploded. "She started it." Beast Boy said. Robin gave him an 'are you fucking joking look'.
Robin shook his head and just told us to clean this shit up. He walked off and sat back down on the couch. Starfire leaned over and began whispering sweet nothings in his ear. That must have cheered him up because he hugged her tightly. I glanced back at BB, who was just glaring at me. I stepped towards, my face very close to his. Yes, he's taller than me but that doesn't mean I can't step to him. "Now I want you to listen to me because I'm only going to say this once. I am not cleaning any of this up. This is your mess, not mine. So you're going to clean this up or there will be consequences. Got it?" I said extremely calm. Beast Boy smirked. "Here's the thing Raven. You don't scare me." He said matching my tone. I smirked right back. He's lying straight through his teeth. It's the eyes that hold the most emotion. Right now, he looks scared shitless.
"Okay, whatever." I said. I made my tea quickly and exited the room. I sped walked through the hallways and went straight to my room. I grabbed a book from my bookshelf and began to read. I haven't even gotten past the first chapter and I hear a knock on my door. I sighed and put a book mark in my book. I walked towards the door and opened it. There stood Robin. "What do you want Robin?" I asked not even trying to sugar coat. "Can I come in?" He asked. I nodded and stepped to the side. I shut the door and we both sat down on my bed. He took off his mask and stared into my eyes. I'm the only person that has ever seen what his eyes look like. He hasn't even shown Starfire. "I think you and Beast Boy should stop bickering." He said finally. "It's not my fault he always tries to pick a damn fight with me all the time! He irks my nerves!" I shouted standing up.
Robin got up and put his hands on my shoulders. He eased me back down onto my bed and sat down next to me. "He really cares about you and you know that. Yes, he's an immature asshole, but that's just him." Robin stated. "I know, but I just can't. You know how much I loose so much control of my powers when I'm around him." I said quietly. I didn't have any problem opening up to Robin because of the bond we have. I never did. I put my head onto his shoulder and leaned into him. Next he wrapped his arm around me.
We stayed like this for a while not saying anything. There are only so many words than can be said. After a couple of minutes, we pulled away from each other. "I just want to thank you Robin. You know how stressed I've been and I'm glad that I have a friend like you to talk to." I said looking into his eyes. He gave me a small smile and pulled me into a hug. I squeezed him tighter. We pulled away and I gave him a small smile. "It was nice talking to you Princess." He said teasingly walking away. "Don't call me that!" I yelled irritated. He started laughing. I grabbed one of my pillows from my bed and threw it at him. It hit his head with a thump. "OW!" He whined. He walked out of my room rubbing his head.
(Time Jump)
I took a quick shower and put some clothes on. I had on a white tank top, high-waisted blue jeans, and Toro 4s Jordans. I put my indigo hair into a bun. I put a little bit of mascara and some eye liner. My phone is taking forever to charge right now. I walked out of my room and headed to the main room. I walked in the room and the gang was all there. Beast Boy, Cyborg, and Robin were playing 2k11 and Star was drinking mustard. Not wanting to be the center of attention, I took a seat next to Star. Star swallowed her mustard before speaking to me. "Greetings Raven. When did you come in?" Star questioned. "I just came in." I stated. "So where are we going to eat tonight?" I asked. "Robin informed me that we are going to stay here tonight." She said. "Shit, so I got dressed for nothing? I said. "Pretty much." Robin grumbled. "Robin you said that twenty five minutes ago." Star whined. Ugh boys and their video games. I swear if I see another Xbox 360 I'm destroying it.
"I am hungry." Star whined. Robin ignored her whining. That was a surprise since Robin is like putty in Star's hands. Star must be feeling some type of way because she stalked out of the room. The boys didn't even notice her leave. Why do I have to fix everything? I rose from the couch and followed Star. "Where can she be?" I said. I closed my eyes and tried to focus on Star's energy. She's in the bathroom. I walked straight to the bathroom and knocked on the door. "Go away please." She demanded. "Star it's me." I said.
I heard her sigh and open the door. Her cheeks were a little puffy and had dried tear streaks. Oh Azar, please help me. "Come here." I gestured my arms opened for a hug. She began sobbing again and ran into my arms. I cringed slightly. I sometimes can't stand physical contact. But it is not about me right now. I'm trying to help Star. My tank top was getting a little bit wet but I don't care. I soothingly began rubbing her back. She began to cry even harder. She pulled away from me and I stepped into the bathroom. I locked the door. "It is just that, I do not enjoy being ignored by Robin." She admitted, sniffling. She sat down on the toilet while I stood.
"Then just tell him how you feel. There is no point stressing about something like this. If you don't tell him, then he will never know." I answered. Star nodded. "I guess you are correct." She said, giving me a sad smile. I gave her a smile in her return. "I do not even know what we are. I think we are the 'couple' but I am not sure." She announced. "Like I said Star, tell him right away." I repeated. She was about to give me a hug, but I stopped her. "No, no, no. NO Hugs! I'm still sore from the last one you gave me." I said. She started laughing. We walked back to the main room together. "Thank you Raven. You are a good friend." She replied. I smiled. "No problem Star." I said. Star has that personality that makes you smile. We walked into the main room and the boys had the tv off. They're having a heated argument too. "MAYWEATHER IS GOING TO WIN, I'M TELLING YOU!" Robin shouted. Cyborg shook his head. "Fuck outta here, I'm rooting for my boy Canelo." Cyborg shot back. "I got my money on Mayweather!" Beast Boy yelled. "Oh, so we're betting money now? Y'all gone loose this bet!" Cyborg said. "Fine, let's bet then." I cleared my throat loudly. They obviously still aren't paying attention to us. "What should we do now?" Star asked. I smirked. "I have an idea." I whispered back. "Azarath Mentrion Zinthos." I chanted. I used my powers to lift the couch in the air and flipped the over. They all screamed in shock and plopped on the ground.
Starfire was on the floor laughing her ass off. I just continued to smirk. "WHAT THE HELL?" Robin, Cyborg, and Beast Boy shouted simultaneously. I rolled my eyes. Star stopped laughing and I helped her up. "We have been trying to get attention." Star said bluntly. I gave Star a surprised look. I've never heard sound so like…me. It doesn't fit her. I guess the other guys were thinking the same thing, because they gave her the same look. "Robin, I would like to talk. Alone." Star said, ignoring the looks. Robin must have snapped out of the trance he was in. He nodded and walked over to Star. They walked out of the main room together.
"Come on; let's flip the couch back over." Cyborg suggested. I nodded and walked over to one side of the couch. Beast Boy brushed past me and went to the other side; and Cyborg went to the middle of the couch. I got a good grip on the couch. "You guys ready?" I asked. "Yeah, we are." They both said. "Okay on the count of three." Cyborg said. "One." Cyborg began. I gripped onto the couch tightly. "Two." Cyborg continued. "Three!" Cyborg exclaimed. We flip over the couch in one swift motion. "At least that's over with." Beast Boy grumbled. I sat in the middle of the couch and propped my feet on the table. Cyborg sat on my right side and Beast Boy on my left.
"Do you guys want to watch Insidious?" I suggested. "Hell Yeah!" Beast Boy and Cyborg said. "Where's the dvd?" Beast Boy asked. "I'll get it." Cyborg decided. He got up and grabbed the dvd from the cabinet where all of the CDs are. Then, he popped it into the dvd player and sat back down. "You could have just told me ya know." Beast Boy mumbled. "Thanks for pointing out the obvious dumbass." Cyborg shot back, sarcasm dripping from every word. Beast Boy glared at him and flipped him off. Cyborg rolled his eyes. "I didn't come here to hear you guys argue. Now just shut up and start the movie already." I snapped. I don't have time for petty drama. They both got the message because they didn't utter a word.
Cyborg grabbed the remote and turned on the TV. He pressed play and the movie began. Twenty five minutes into the movie, Beast Boy began to complain. "I'm hungry." Beast Boy whined. "Then get something to eat. You have functioning arms and legs, use them." I said bluntly. Cyborg chuckled. Beast Boy glared at me. I ignored the glare. "What is it? Cut ass on Beast Boy day?" He questioned. "Do you really want the answer to that?" Cyborg said, still paying attention to the movie. Beast Boy got up and went to the kitchen.
The door opened and I turned around to see who it was. Star and Robin walked together hand in hand. I gave Star an amused look and she brushed it off and winked. I turned my attention back to the movie. Robin and Star walked over to us and sat on the couch. "What is this?" Robin said gesturing to the movie. "Insidious." I responded. Robin shrugged and began watching the movie.
(Time Jump)
We didn't feel like going out to go eat, so we ordered Chinese food from the new takeout place in town. Tonight was just one of those chill nights. I just forgot about all the bullshit that has been happening this week and relaxed. All we did was watch movies, eat, and had a great time. "Alright guys, it's time we all get some sleep. We have a long week tomorrow." Robin said. Of course Robin has to act like the fatherly leader figure in the Tower. Even though, he is the leader. Beast Boy yawned loudly and stretched. "Yeah, I'm with you on this one. I'm so damn tired." Beast Boy yawned loudly. Cyborg scrunched his face in disgust. "You're breath smells like hot garbage." Cyborg said waving his hand around. We all laughed. "All of you are assholes." Beast Boy grumbled. He got up and strutted out of the room.
"I am going to the bed as well. Good night friends." Star said. She leaned over to Robin and pecked his lips. Cyborg whistled and Robin flipped him off. Star sashayed out of the room. "Yeah bro, I'm out too." Cyborg dapped him up and left too. "I'm going to sleep too." I told Robin. Robin nodded. I was about to walk out of the room, when he said something. "Oh Raven, don't forget what I said." He said. Whatever. I didn't respond and walked out. I walked straight to my room and did my nightly hygiene routine.
I put my hair into a simple braid. I grabbed my phone and set the alarm to 6:30 am. I had on my favorite pair of pajamas. I have on lavender boy shorts and a long sleeve black top. It was comfortable, yet simple. I turned off the light and got under the covers. I pulled the covers more towards my slender body. I closed my eyes and fell into a dreamless sleep.
(The Next Morning)
Misery by Maroon Five began to play loudly in my room. I groaned and began rubbing my eyes. I opened them slowly, my eyes adjusting to the darkness. I unplugged my phone from the charger and turned off the alarm. "Let's get this school day over with." I grumbled. I immediately got out of bed and headed straight to my dresser. I heard it was going to be eighty degrees today. I grabbed a strapless black romper; lion stud earrings, black gladiator sandals, and a Louis Vuitton satchel. I grabbed some eyeliner, mascara, and a gold watch. I quickly closed my dresser draws and beelined to the bathroom.
I did my hygiene routine and put on my clothes. I fixed my makeup and put on my accessories. I looked at myself one more time in the mirror. "I look alright." I said. I'm not trying to draw so much attention to myself, but I still need to look good. I grabbed my bag and walked out of the bathroom. When I walked into the main room, I saw Cyborg whipping up some breakfast.
"It smells great Cyborg." I said over the crackling of the bacon. Cyborg smiled at me. I walked towards him. "Do you want me to help you with anything?" I asked him. "Yeah, can you make some scrambled eggs?" He said. I nodded and got to work. I went to the fridge and grabbed some eggs. I whipped up some scrambled eggs and placed them on the table.
Cyborg taught me how to cook a lot of food. It was nice because he is an excellent cook. Cyborg told me that he woke up earlier than everyone else because he wanted to make us a big first day of school breakfast feast. Robin and Star walked in together wearing matching outfits. "You guys we have an hour before we have to leave." Robin reminded us. He walked to the table and pulled the chair out for Star. She smiled at him lovingly and sat down. Then, he pulled out a chair for himself and sat down.
I was setting the plates and placing the food on the table. Beast Boy walked into the room and I couldn't help but steal a couple of glances at him. NO! You don't like him like that. Cyborg put all of the used cooking items in the dishwasher and turned it on. He sat down and we all began eating. "You guys have back packs right?" Robin questioned. "I don't have one at the moment, so I'm just going to use my purse." I explained.
"Oh that's fine. Does anyone else not have a book bag?" He asked everyone one more time. No one responded and just kept eating. Robin grabbed his plates and glass and washed it quickly. "Everyone sit down at the couch real quick, I have an announcement." He stated.
I already finished my breakfast and washed and dried my dishes. I squatted down and put the clean dishes away. I sashayed back to my chair and grabbed my purse. I felt eyes glued to my every move. I knew it was Beast Boy. I sat down on the couch and was soon joined by the others. "Okay, so I'm going to make this short and simple. I have everyone's schedules printed out already. They are in the car. The school is twenty five minutes away from the Tower. The school is a very large campus. I just wanted to inform you about this information." Robin explained. "Thank you friend Robin." Star acknowledged. "Yeah, thanks man." Cyborg and BB said.
Robin rubbed his hands together. "So then, let's go." He said. We all got up, grabbed our bags and headed towards the car.
(Time Jump)
We pulled into the school parking lot. Students were hanging out outside before school started or talking amongst themselves. Cyborg killed the engine and unlocked the doors. I got out, schedule in hand. Robin made us make our own schedules. First period I have Latin. I know this class is going to be a breeze since I already know Latin fluently. Starfire linked her arm in mine and we headed towards the large double doors of the school.
"Hey you guys wait up!" The guys shouted, running after us. Star smiled sheepishly. "My apologies, I am just excited!" Star exclaimed. "That's great Star." Robin said. "I'm ready to turn the fuck up! Booyah!" Cyborg shouted. We all chuckled. "Hey Robin, do you know where the auditorium is?" Beast Boy asked. Robin nodded and took out the map of the school from his backpack.
No wonder he had a map, this school is huge. "It's on the first floor, in the second building." He stated. We walked into the school, heading for the auditorium. I wasn't even paying attention, when I crashed right into someone. I tumbled to the ground with the person on top of me.
"Oh my globnorf! Are you okay, friend Raven?" Star asked. "Raven, you okay?" Cyborg asked. I kept hearing so many voices it was over whelming me. I opened my violet eyes and they met with the most piercing blue eyes I've ever seen. Where have I seen those eyes before? I was so entranced by those eyes; they kept pulling me in… "Are you alright?" A deep voice asked me. I blinked a couple of times. "W-what?" I stuttered. I never stutter. He chuckled, showing off his pearly whites. "I asked if you if you were okay." He said. I nodded aimlessly. "Here let me help you up." He gestured, holding out his hand. I grabbed his hand and let him pull me up. He has such large hands. His pale muscles flexed as he pulled me up.
"Well, I'll see you around maybe." He said. "Yeah, maybe." I gave him one of my rare smiles. He smiled back and walked towards the school. "Aww wuttle Rae Rae is in love." Cyborg teased. I glared at him. "I am not interested." I said bluntly. Starfire gave me a 'oh please' look. Beast Boy looked pissed. He gave me a glare and walked off, ignoring all of us.
"It looks like someone is jealous." Cyborg sang. "For real though." Robin agreed. "C'mon let's go." I said. "Yes, let us go to the auditorium, we shall not be late for orientation." Star said. I pushed past other students searching for the auditorium.
(Switches to Star's POV)
I watched Raven stalk away from the rest of us. "Let us proceed to the auditorium." I said. Robin wrapped his arm around my waist. "Yeah, we haven't even gotten into the school and there is already drama." Cyborg said. "Whatever." Beast Boy grumbled. I let my hand interlace with Robin's.
All of us began walking into Jump City High searching for the auditorium. "STARFIRE! STARFIRE!" I heard someone screamed. I turned around and saw Lola. She was wearing a floral crop top that said 'hype' that showed off her toned abs and belly piercing, cargo shorts, a G4Life beanie, and Nike Air Speed sneakers. Her hair was naturally curly and flowing down her back. "Greetings Lola." I said, pulling her into a hug.
She pulled away and smiled. "It is so good to see you! Sorry that I never called or anything, I've been really busy." She said. "It is completely fine. Do you want to come with us?" I asked. She nodded in agreement. "Oh I almost forgot, let me introduce you to my friends. This is Gar, Victor, and Richard." I said. It felt strange to me to use their real names. "Hi it's nice to meet all of you. Beast Boy smiled at her and Cyborg kept staring at her. "It's nice to meet you as well." They all said.
(Time Jump)
To say the auditorium was crowded was an understatement. It was packed with students. "Where do you guys want to sit?" Lola asked. My eyes searched the auditorium for seating. I found a slightly empty place with seats for us. "Let us sit over there." I pointed. "That sounds like a good idea." Cyborg said. Then, all of us walked over to that area. I sat down next to Robin, Cyborg sat next to Lola, and Beast Boy sat and the end of row.
I saw a tall African American man walk towards the podium. The student body immediately silenced to hear what he had to say. He tapped the microphone a couple of times before he spoke. "Welcome Students of Jump City High!" He boomed. I winced a little bit. He did not even need a microphone. He then started to talk about joining clubs, sports teams, etc.
I kind of zoned out a little bit, but he seemed like a nice individual. "Alright, now that is settled, orientation is over everyone! I hope everyone has a successful and productive year." He finished. The whole student body clapped as he walked away from the podium.
"What class do you have now?" Robin asked me. "I believe I have Geometry. What about you?" I asked. "I have Gym." Robin answered. I nodded and tapped Cyborg's shoulder. "Wassup Star?" He said. "Get Lola." I demanded. He tapped Lola's shoulder and she turned around. Cyborg whispered something in her ear and she nodded and turned to me. "What's going on?" She asked. "I just wanted to know what class you have next." I said. "I have Geometry with Mr. Rogers. What do you have next?" She asked.
I took out my schedule from my bag and glanced at the paper slowly. Then, I put it back in my bag. "I have Geometry with the same teacher. We can walk together." I said smiling. "That's great!" She exclaimed. I have not seen Raven since orientation began. Maybe it is because of what occurred this morning. Students were already exiting the auditorium and heading to their scheduled classes. "Alright you guys, I'm going to go. I'll see you at lunch, okay?" Beast Boy said. "Good bye Beast Boy." I said. He smiled and dapped up Cyborg, gave Lola a small hug, and gave a head nod to Robin.
I watched him disappear within the body of students leaving. "I'm going to go too. I have to head to English." Cyborg said. "Later bro." Robin said. "Bye Victor." I responded. He pounded Robin's fist and hugged Lola and I. "Babe, I'm going too. I'll see you at lunch." Robin told me. We shared a soft, loving kiss before he walked off.
"I didn't know Richard was your boyfriend." Lola announced. My cheeks turned pink. Lola gave me a sly smile. "You guys are so cute." She gushed. "Thank you." I mumbled, still blushing. "We should go to class before we are late." I suggested. "You're right." She said.
Lola and I stood up and walked out of the auditorium. We began to talk about everything. She told me about her family and her hobbies. Her mom's name is Claudia and her father's name is Tremaine. Also, she has one older brother and a younger sister.
By the time we were finished talking, we were at Mr. Rogers' class. The class was not packed, but not full either. I took my seat in the front, so I would know what is going on. Lola sat down next to me. "Mr. Rogers is pretty strict. He doesn't take crap from anyone." Lola warned me. I gasped. I hope I make a good impression.
"Don't worry though; he can be really nice at times. He doesn't give tests or homework on Fridays." Lola said. "What is this 'homework' you speak of?" I asked. "It's school work teachers give you to do at home." Lola explained. "Oh, I hope I do not have a lot of homework." I said. Lola chuckled. "Tell me about it. Can I see your schedule?" She asked. "Sure." I responded pulling it out of my bag. I handed to her and she skimmed through it. Her eyes lit up.
"This is great! We have English, Geometry, and Art together! "She exclaimed. "Yes! I am excited as well!" I said gleefully. A loud bell rang throughout the school. "What was that noise?" I asked her. "Oh, it was just late bell." She reassured. "Oh okay." I said.
"Good morning class. My name is Mr. Rogers and I will be your Geometry teacher for this year. Do we have any new students who have not been to Jump City High?" He asked. Mr. Rogers was average height with brunette hair. He looked like he was in his mid- forties. He wore glasses and I black suit with a red tie. A couple other students and I raised our hands. Mr. Rogers read each and every one of our faces and gave us a warm smile. I smiled back.
"Well, I would like to welcome you to Jump City High. I will hand out the syllabus for this class that contains the materials, expectations, and more." He explained. "Can I have someone volunteer to hand out the syllabuses?" He asked. I raised my hand. He handed me the papers and went back to his desk.
I handed the papers out to each student and sat back down in my seat. I think that this is going to be the start of a glorious year.
(Time Jump and switches to Raven's POV)
I walked into my third period Latin Honors class and scanned the room. The room was half empty, so I took a seat in the back. My Latin teacher's name is Mr. Louis. He has dark black hair that's slightly balding and isn't really in shape. He has on a white button up shirt with a striped red tie and black dress pants and shoes.
He seems like he's boring, but who am I to judge. I put my bag onto my desk, searching for my phone and ear buds. I took out my phone, plugged in my ear buds, and began listening to bring me to Life by Evanescence. Yes I know this song is old, but it's one of my favorite songs.
I saw this Caucasian girl walk into the class room. She had long black hair that cascaded down her back and piercing green eyes. Those eyes kind of remind me of Beast Boy. His eyes are so warm and inviting and-STOPPP STOP THINKING ABOUT HIM RAVEN! She had on a lilac sweater with Jasmine on it, purple nebula studded shorts, and the Aqua 5s.
She sat down next to me and I continued to listen to my music. The class began to slowly fill with students. Mr. Louis was typing away on his computer and sipping his coffee. My eyelids began to feel heavy and were slowly about to close, before I felt a tap on my shoulder.
I glanced around and realized it was the girl who sat next to me. "What do you want?" I demanded. I wasn't trying to sound like a bitch, that's just my demeanor. "I just wanted to know if you had a pen. I left mine at home." She stated. "Yeah, give me a second." I said digging through my bag.
I handed her a blue pen and she smiled and put it in her bag. "What's your name by the way?" She asked me. "Rachel Roth. What's yours?" I asked. "Serenity Collins." She said. We made small talk and in result we have some things in common.
We chatted until the bell rang, signaling that class is beginning. Mr. Louis got up from his desk and stood at the front of the class. He began blubbering about his expectations for his class and all that crap. He had a droning voice, so literally everyone was looking at him slack jawed.
I felt a piece of paper land on my desk. I swiftly picked it up and read it. It was from Serenity.
Serenity: Can you believe how boring this guy is? I've heard stuff about him, but damn. I didn't know he was this bad. I cracked a small smile. I flipped the paper over and wrote back.
Me: I know right. I'm really trying my best not to fall asleep.
I flicked the paper towards Serenity's desk. "Okay, everyone here is your syllabus." Mr. Louis said. He began to pass out the papers. Once I got the syllabus, I took out my folder from my bag and put it away. "Now, let me take attendance." Mr. Louis announced.
I zoned out until he called my name. "Rachel Roth." Mr. Louis boomed. "Present." I said raising my hand. He nodded and marked my name on his brown clipboard. "Serenity Collins." He called. "Here" She
said raising her hand.
Mr. Louis placed the clipboard down. "Alright, since there is only five minutes of class left, you guys can just relax until the bell rings." He stated. The class yelled in happiness and began to talk amongst themselves. Serenity turned to me and we began talking. "So have you always lived in Jump City?" She asked. "Yeah, I've just been homeschooled." I lied.
I don't feel bad about lying to Serenity, but I barely know her. I don't trust her yet. Why give information about yourself to people you don't even know? "Oh, cool. I just can't wait for lunch though. I am so hungry." Serenity said rubbing her stomach. I chuckled. "I'm a little hungry myself, but I had a big breakfast." I told her.
"Lucky! I almost never have time to make breakfast in the morning." She stated. "Why?" I asked. "I walk my two little brothers to school every morning. So I have to make breakfast super quickly if I have the time to." She explained. "Oh, I understand. But you should try making it at night so you can heat it up in the morning." I said. "That's a good idea. I never thought about that. Thanks Rachel." Serenity said smiling. I gave her a smile in return. "No problem." I replied.
The bell rang loudly and people began to leave Mr. Louis' classroom. I put my phone back into my bag and waited for Serenity. "Are you almost ready?" I asked. "Yeah, just give me a second." She said. She put her stuff away and followed me out of Mr. Rogers' room. "I have to go. I don't want to be late. I'll see you at lunch Rachel." Serenity said.
I waved goodbye to her and walked to my next class. The hallway was slightly empty. I felt uncomfortable, yet relaxed. I shook off this feeling, and kept walking. The bell didn't ring yet, so I'm good. I turned around the corridor and walked up the staircase.
I sensed someone behind me. A warm hand covered my mouth. His arm grabbed my waist and picked me up. It was Beast Boy. He set my down against the wall and put his arms next to my head. "Beast Boy, what are you doing? I have to get to class." I said, trying to push him off me. Beast Boy chuckled and pressed his body closer to mine.
Don't show any emotion on your face, Raven. Breathe. "Beast Boy, seriously. MOVE." I repeated firmly. "What's the rush Raven?" He said rubbing his hands on my sides. "Get your hands off me." I spat. He smirked. "Oh, but you really don't want that do you, Raven?" He asked. I gave him a flat look. "Beast Boy, I need to get to class." I said. Then, he pressed his body against mine and began placing light kisses on my neck.
"Beast Boy, stop it." I stuttered. He laughed against my neck and continued. This feels so good, but he's never going to know that. The late bell rang loudly. Perfect. "See because of you, I'm late!" I exclaimed. His lips went upward and began to nibble on my collarbone. "Stop!" I yelled, I pushed him off me and began to walk up the stairs. I grabbed a mirror out of my bag and looked at my neck.
From my collarbone to my neck, was covered with hickies. "Damnit, how am I supposed to get rid of these?" I grumbled. I sighed and took out my schedule. "Room 361 that should be down this hall I think." I said. I walked down the hall and there was room 361, my geometry class.
I knocked on the brown wooden door and entered. The teacher and the rest of the class turned and looked at me. "Why are you late?" The teacher said curtly. "I wasn't sure where to go." I responded. She glanced at my hickies but didn't say a word. "Well, next time do not be late." She said with an attitude.
I rolled my eyes and walked to an empty seat. I sat down and took out my notebook and a pencil. She made us copy some notes and told us what materials we needed for class. At one point, she gave me a dirty look. Don't do anything reckless and stupid Raven. This bitch is not worth it.
I ignored her look and kept writing down the notes. "Alright, so I'm going to write tonight's homework on the smart board." Ms. Hutchinson said. The whole class groaned in displeasure. She gave us a flat look. "Just for that you have even more homework now." She growled writing the assignments on the smart board. "She's so over dramatic." I grumbled. I took out my agenda book and wrote down the homework.
Thank Azar its fourth period. After this, I have lunch. The bell rang and I put my stuff into my bag. I got up and bolted from the classroom. The lunch room was in another building according to my schedule. I can't use my powers because Robin told us we have to act 'normal'. I'm far from normal.
I sped walked down the stairs and out of the building. "RACHELL!" I heard someone yell. I turned around looking for the person who yelled my name. It was Serenity. She ran up to me smiling. "I was surprised that I found you. Do you want to sit with me today at lunch?" She asked. I nodded. "Yeah, I actually want to introduce you to my roommates." I stated.
"Okay, that would be great. We can all sit together." She suggested. "Yeah, that was the plan." I said. She chuckled. "What class did you have fourth period?" She asked me. "I had Geometry with Ms. Hutchinson. She's a bitch. I do not like her at all." I told her. She gave me a disgusted look. "Yeah, I've heard about her. My older brother had her when he went here. Her tests are hard and she gives homework all the time." Serenity said. I groaned. "Damn, I don't have time for that." I grumbled.
She laughed. "I feel you man. I had Mr. Connors last period. He teaches Algebra 2. He's so fucking funny. He has everyone laughing so hard in his class and he doesn't give homework on weekends." Serenity boasted. "Shit, I wish I had a teacher like that." I said. So far, I can tolerate my teachers. "Well, we still have four more periods until the end of the day." Serenity reassured me.
"Yeah, you're right." I said. "Rachel, I'm not trying to get in your business or anything, but why do you have hickies on your neck?" She said, giving me a sly smile. I glared at her. "These are not hickies, I tripped down the stairs. People kept bumping into me." I denied. She gave me a sly smirk and didn't say anything. We reached the cafeteria and walked inside. It was humongous. We walked towards the growing lunch line. "How much is lunch?" I asked Serenity. "It's $2.25." She answered.
I nodded and took out my wallet. The line was moving so damn slowly. "Damn, how long does it take to just get food and go?" Serenity said sarcastically. "Seriously though, people are moving so damn slow." I agreed. Serenity and I were in the middle of the line. I grabbed two trays and passed one to Serenity. "Thanks." She said. "No problem." I said. "I grabbed a Caesar salad, a turkey and cheese wrap, Lays, and a water bottle.
Serenity grabbed a BLT sandwich, Doritos, and a coke. Both of us paid for our lunch quickly and got out of the line. "Where are your other friends?" Serenity asked. I scanned the cafeteria searching for them. "There they are." I said, pointing to a table in the middle of the cafeteria. "Let's go." Serenity stated.
(Time Jump)
Lunch was actually fun today. I met Star's friend Lola and she's pretty chill. Serenity seemed to like every one of my friends except for Beast Boy. He had to sit right next to me during lunch today. He didn't do anything though. He acted like nothing happened the period before. I'm not going to stress it though. I'm not going to put people in danger with my powers.
Also, Serenity gave me her number before we left lunch. Right now, I have Chemistry with Ms. Pinn. Hopefully she isn't one of those uptight teachers. Before I walked into her classroom, she smiled at me and handed me a packet. She was African American, with long curly hair pulled into a large bun on top of her head. She was wearing a medium length light blue dress with zebra heels and large black hoop earrings.
I picked a seat in the middle of the class room and sat down. I sighed and took out a pencil. I began tapping it on the desk in boredom. Shit, I'm tired. As soon as I get home, I'm going to do my homework and knock out. At least it's only two periods left until we go home. The late bell rang and kids scrambled to get into Ms. Pinn's classroom. She walked into the front of the room and began talking about what we are going to do in class today.
She is really funny. All of us were laughing at the jokes she kept telling us. "So basically, I need to know some personal things about you guys. Not like if you have a boyfriend or anything like that, just basic information. So I'm handing out index cards. On these index cards, just right your name, email, and address." She advertised. She turned around and grabbed the index cards from her desk.
She walked to each row and handed the amount needed for each student. When I got my index card, I wrote down the needed information quickly. I might as well make a good impression. "Is everyone finished?" Ms. Pinn asked. "Yes." The class responded. She clapped her hands happily. "Good, now pass them forward." She demanded. I passed my card up to the girl in front of me. She gave me a dirty look before snatching the card out of my hand.
"I dare you to look with a stank face one more fucking time." I growled at her my eyes turning red. Her face turned fearful and she turned around quickly. It's the first day; I don't have time for the petty drama. Ms. Pinn collected the cards and placed them in a draw in her desk.
"The packet that I gave each of you when you walked in, I want you to complete for the rest of the class period. If you don't finish all of it, it is homework. I'm going to call attendance." She said. Ms. Pinn sat down and began typing away on her computer. I glanced at the packet. It was only five pages. I began working on the packet. "Rachel Roth." Ms. Pinn called. "Here." I answered, raising my hand.
I was almost done with the packet when the bell rang. I sighed and began packing my things. Students began walking out of Ms. Pinn's classroom. I got up from my seat and left. "Don't forget to bring the packet we worked on in class today tomorrow!" I heard Ms. Pinn yell. Next class is Gym with Mr. Bryant. Gym should be a breeze since I'm in shape already. The gymnasium was in the building next to where the cafeteria was.
I walked silently to the gym. I pushed open the large red doors and sat down on the metal bleachers. Let's just get this class over with Raven.
(Time Jump)
Gym was okay. Mr. Bryant is mad chill. For the first quarter, our class and another gym class are going to be in the weight room. The gym is one of my favorite places in the tower, besides my room of course. Now, I have to head to the library. I have study hall eighth period. I wasn't sure where the library was so I asked Mr. Bryant where it was.
Good thing it was a nice day today. I would have been tight if it was raining. I walked out of the gym, heading to the library. I pushed the door, walking into the library and gasped. The library was beautiful. It had these long mahogany shelves filled with more books than I can count. There is a lounge area and a whole wall that is a window looking at the campus.
"This is amazing." I breathed. I've never seen a library so beautiful. I sat down in one of the lounge chairs and literally melted. I feel so relaxed. I closed my eyes, even though I wasn't tired. I felt someone sit down in the lounge chair next to me, but didn't acknowledge their presence.
I opened my eyes and glanced around. I realized that the person, who is sitting next to me, was the guy I bumped into this morning. I couldn't forget those eyes. I stared at him getting lost into his eyes. It's like they caught me in a trance. "Hello?" He said, waving his hand in front of my face. My cheeks turned pink and I pretended to look for something in my bag. He got up and caressed my face. I shivered in delight.
His hand felt so cool and right against my skin. "Look at me." He whispered. I looked up into his eyes. They were so inviting and warm. "What's your name?" He asked. "Rachel. What's yours?" I asked. His full pink lips pulled into a smirk. "Snake." He said. He had such a deep voice.
He pulled his lounge chair closer to mine and sat back down. He was wearing black cargo shorts and a faded Nirvana t- shirt. His black hair was messy and spiked up. It looked good on him though. "Are you new to this school?" He asked. I nodded. "Yeah, it's my first time going to a public school." I said. Snake raised his eyebrow in interest. "Really, what school did you use to go to?" He asked. I felt slightly nervous and uncomfortable around him.
"I was homeschooled." I said bluntly. He nodded. We began to talk about everything. He listens to the same music I do and likes to read. I was surprised; I didn't know we had so much in common. His laugh is so contagious. The bell rang signaling the end of the day and I pouted.
I didn't do any work while I was in Study Hall. I was too exhausted. I got up about to leave, when Snake grabbed my wrist. It wasn't a grip that was hurting me, but it was firm. "Wait, can I have your number?" He said, looking everywhere but me. I smiled at that. I thought it was cute. "Sure." I said. I grabbed his iPhone 5S and put my number in. He smirked at me. "Hopefully, I'll see you soon Rachel." He said. "Y-yeah hopefully." I stammered.
He laughed and walked out of the library. "What the hell?" I grumbled. I never stutter around guys. I'm never nervous around guys. Do I like him? I'm not sure. I barely know him. All I know is, I'm probably going to have a weird ass dream tonight. I took out my phone and called Robin. "Hello?" he said through the phone. "It's Raven. Are you at the T-Car right now?" I asked. "Yeah, Star, Cyborg and I are here." He said. "Alright, I'll meet you there." I said. "Okay later." He barked. "Bye." I said. I pressed the end button on my phone and put it in my bag.
I walked out of the library and headed to the parking lot. So many thoughts are buzzing in my head right now. Beast Boy or Snake? Why does this have to happen to me? I honestly don't know my relationship I have with Beast Boy right now. I feel like something is going to go down and soon. I saw the T-Car and walked towards it. Cyborg was leaning on the car and Robin and Star seemed like they were arguing.
"Who was that girl that threw herself on you?" She demanded. Robin pinched the bridge of his nose. "How many times do I have to keep telling you? I don't know her!" He shouted back. "Then why was she pushing herself all on you and you didn't stop her?" Star snapped back. "I kept pushing her away telling her I have a girlfriend. That's when you walked around the corner and she started to push herself on me even more." He explained. Starfire's face looked like a mix of jealously and hurt. "I do not believe you Robin." She croaked.
I walked over to Cyborg and nodded wassup to him. "What's going on with them?" I asked him. Cyborg shrugged. "Relationship problems, I guess." He said. I glanced over to them again. Star was on the verge of tears and Robin looked pissed off. "Damn, this is going to be a long week. I can just tell already." I said. Cyborg nodded in agreement. "I'm already swamped with homework already. It's the first week; don't the teachers have a chill button?" He grumbled. "I understand Cyborg. My teachers are alright but I'm just not with this whole school thing. I think it's unnecessary." I agreed.
"Me too, you already know how much I didn't want to do this." He said, pulling out the car keys. Cyborg and I are pretty close. We both respect each other's privacy. He's like my older brother. He told me a lot of information about his past. I'm not going to mention it, but he has had a pretty rough life. I really respect him. "The door is open." He said, getting in the car. I nodded and pulled the car door open.
Robin opened the door forcefully and slammed it. "Aye man, don't slam my car doors." Cyborg said with an attitude. "Fuck off man." Robin said rudely. Cyborg glared at him but said nothing. I sighed and took out my ear buds and headphones. I can't listen to this shit any longer. Star got into the car crying. Beast Boy got in the car sitting right next to me. "Hey Star, are you okay." He said noticing her crying. Star put her face in her hands. "Just leave me alone please." She cried.
Beast Boy put his hands up in surrender. I put in my earbuds and began to listen to Burning Man by Jhene Aiko. Cyborg put the car in drive and pulled out of the parking lot. I just leaned my head back and looked through the window. The whole car ride was silent. The silence was really uncomfortable but I didn't want to be the one to break it. Cyborg opened the garage and pulled in.
He took the car keys out of the ignition and killed the engine. Robin was the first to get out the car. He didn't even take the elevator with the rest of us. He just took the stairs. Now I know, he's pissed not only because of our bond, but its damn common sense. Starfire kept sniffling uncontrollably in the elevator.
The elevator opened and we all parted ways. I went straight to my room and began my homework. I didn't have a lot of homework, so I finished it quickly.
(Time Jump)
It was dinner time and we were going out tonight. Robin told me we're going to Olive Garden. Since the Olive Garden was two towns down, it was going to take two and a half hours to get there. So, we are leaving now.
I changed into a red sweatshirt with a peace sign, black jeans, red Huf socks, and red converse. I put on some lip gloss and some eyeliner. I unplugged my phone and grabbed my ear buds. This is going to be a long night.
I walked over to the main room and opened the door. Star, Robin, and Beast Boy were sitting on the couch. Star was sitting on the very end of the couch. They must still be mad at each other. I sat down next to Starfire. "Are you okay?" I asked. "No." She said simply. I put my arm around her shoulder. "You know you guys have to work this out right?" I said. She nodded.
Cyborg came in and sat down. "Y'all ready to go?" He said. "Yeah, let's go." Robin announced. We all rose from the couch and walked out of the main room. Silently, we reached the elevator. I pressed the up button on the elevator and waited.
The elevator opened slowly and we all scrambled inside. Cyborg pressed the garage button and the elevator went down. It dinged and the door slid open. Cyborg took out the keys and unlocked the car doors. Star sat in the front with Cyborg. "Star, what are you doing?" Robin asked. "What does it look like? I'm sitting down." She said with an attitude. Who knew my girl had it in her. Robin glared at her. "You know I always sit there." He said sharply. "There are other seats." Star said simply. I muffled my laughter.
He rolled his eyes and got in the back with Beast Boy and me. He kept pouting. I couldn't hold it anymore and busted out laughing. "I'm sorry, but your face. I can't!" I said in between laughs. Robin began to pout even more. "It's not funny." He grumbled. Beast Boy started to laugh too. "She's right bro; you're acting like a child." He said. Chuckling.
"Cyborg, can you start driving already?" He said, changing the subject. Cyborg put the keys in ignition and the engine roared to life. He pulled out of the garage and began to drive. I took out my headphones and began to listen to What You Want by Evanescence.
(Time Jump)
Cyborg pulled up to Olive Garden and searched for a space. He found an empty space and pulled into it. He killed the engine and got out of the car. I took out my ear buds and put my phone in my pants pocket. Star got out and I followed. The crew and I walked into Olive Garden and walked towards the podium. The hostess was writing down something and looked up at us. "Can I help you?" She asked politely at Robin.
"Yes, table for five please." Robin said. She grabbed five menus. "Right this way." She said gesturing to our table. She walked in front of s and led us to our table. She put the menus on the table and left. I sat down next to Star and Cyborg. Robin and Beast Boy sat across from us.
I grabbed a menu and looked through it. The table was silent until Star spoke up. "Why were you talking to that girl?" She asked Robin. Robin sighed loudly. "She knew I was a Teen Titan. She wanted to take a picture with me. I didn't know she was going to do all of that extra shit." He admitted. Star gave him a hurt look. "Why would you agree to something like that? You know we have the relationship." She said. "Hey if someone is a fan, I don't want to disappoint my fans." He uttered. "Well, you shouldn't want to disappoint your girlfriend either." Star shot back. "Oh shit." Beast Boy said loudly.
"Starfire, I'm sorry. Honestly, I really am. I would take it back if I could. Do you forgive me?" He asked pleadingly. Star looked hesitant. Cyborg, Beast Boy, and I were looking between the two. "I forgive you, for now." Star said. Robin's face broke out into a big smile. Star gave a small smile in return. Robin leaned over the table and kissed her cheek.
"Ewww, that's nasty." Beast Boy said with a disgusted look. Robin glared at him. "You're just jealous that you don't have this." Robin said gesturing between him and Star. Beast Boy rolled his eyes. "Yeah, okay." He said sarcastically. Cyborg reached over and socked his arm. "Oww, what the fuck was that for?" Beast Boy said rubbing his arm.
"For being a stupid dumbass." Cyborg said bluntly. Robin and I laughed. Beast Boy glared at me, then smirked. Aw shit, he's up to something. The waitress came over to our table. "Hi, my name is Shonda and I'll be your server for tonight. Can I start you guys off with something to drink?" She asked, with her notepad in hand.
All of us went around the table stating our orders. Shonda wrote them down and walked away. "We guys should play a game when we get home." Beast Boy says evilly. "What game?" Star asked. Beast Boy smirked. "Truth or dare." He said wickedly. "Hell no, I am not playing truth or dare with your crazy ass." I said. "I'm up for it." Robin and Cyborg said simultaneously. "Aw, you scared Princess?" He taunted. I gave him a death glare.
"Just for that, I'm playing. You're gonna be begging for mercy by the time I'm through with you." I growled. Beast Boy smirked and waggled his eyebrows. I gave him a disgusted look. "Not like that, stop thinking nasty damn." I muttered. Cyborg chuckled. "You guys argue like an old married couple." Robin said. I flipped him off. "Love you too Princess." Robin teased. "Ugh! All of you guys are annoying as hell!" I shouted. I received some stares, but it's not like I cared. I put my head down on the table. "Guys leave Raven alone." Star chirped. "Why? It's fun to tease her." Beast Boy announced. I raised my head up slowly staring right at Beast Boy. "You're the reason why I can never keep my powers or temper under control." I hissed.
Beast Boy rolled his eyes and mumbled something under his breath. Shonda came back and placed our drinks in front of us. "Are you guys ready to order?" She asked. "Yes we are." Robin said. She wrote down all of our orders and walked to the kitchen.
(Time Jump)
Dinner was absolutely delicious. We came pretty early for dinner and right now it's only seven thirty. But we have a two hour and a half hour ahead of us. So we're just going to play truth or dare in the car. "Alright Robin, truth or dare?" Cyborg asked. Robin hesitated for a moment. "Truth." He stated confidently. "Have you and Star ever had sex?" Cyborg teased.
Robin's face turned a shade of red brighter than Star's hair. Beast Boy and I busted out laughing. "Robin, if you say anything. I will smack you." Star threatened. Robin gulped. "Yes." He said lowly. Cyborg began to laugh so hard. "Okay Star truth or dare?" I asked her. She gave me a wicked smile. "Dare." I tapped my chin pretending to think. "I dare you to go to the Karoke Center and sing Oops I did it again by Britney Spears wearing a Little Bo Peep costume." I said. Robin chuckled. Cyborg was trying to suppress his laughter.
Star gasped loudly. "Fine." She grumbled. "Alright, Raven truth or dare?" Robin asked me. "Dare." I said. I dare you to put a bikini while Beast Boy takes body shots off you." Robin said. "WHAT?!" I shrieked loudly. Cyborg and Beast Boy busted out laughing. "NO, NO, NO! There is no way I'm doing that." I barked.
"Oh, yes you will. If not, I'll show everyone that video of you." Robin threatened. My skin toned paled. One day, I thought I was the only one alone in the Tower. So I got started doing karoke and singing Misery by Maroon 5. Then, unexpectedly Robin sneaks in recording the whole thing.
I begged him not to tell a soul and he agreed. "You sick son of a bitch. Fine. I'll do it." I growled. Everyone but me was laughing. Cyborg opened the garage and pulled inside.
(Time Jump)
We were all in the main room. My dare was first. I had a black bikini with white polka dots. My pierced belly button and figure was all on display. I got my belly pierced last weekend at Lenny's Tattoo shop. I'm not going back there again though. Lenny is super creepy. "Damn Raven. You look hot." Beast Boy said, staring at my body with lust in his eyes.
"Yeah, yeah, yeah. Shut the fuck up." I muttered. Robin had two Hennessy bottles and shot glasses. "Raven, you ready?" Cyborg asked me. I gave him a flat look. "Well, okay then. Let's get started. Cyborg turned on the tv and went to the Hip Hop and RNB music choice channel. The channel was playing Sex by Chris Brown. I laid down flat on the dining table.
Robin stood next to me and poured the Hennessy on my belly. It felt kind of cold on me. I shivered slightly. "Cyborg, you recording this shit bro?" Robin asked. "Yup." Cyborg said popping the 'p'. Beast Boy got up on the table and started crawling towards me. At that moment, I forgot about everyone else. I just focused on him and me.
Beast Boy spread my legs slightly and rubbed his warm hands on my toned thighs. I moaned lowly. Beast Boy looked up at me and smirked. He started to slowly kiss on my thighs. He worked his lips up to my naval. His gripped my hips tightly. He licked up all the Hennessy and kissed my tummy where it all was.
I closed my eyes, overwhelmed with so much pleasure. I've never felt this way with anyone before. It was a new feeling for me. I don't know how to describe it. The song ended and Beast Boy rubbed my legs all the way down before getting off me. My face was bright red. "Damn, no gay shit, but that was sexy as hell." Cyborg said. Robin nodded in agreement. Starfire smirked at me and gave me a knowing look.
We played truth or dare for one more hour before going to sleep. I went to my room and took a quick shower. I did the rest of my hygiene things and put my hair in a messy bun. I put on my pajamas and set my alarm on my phone. I got under my warm purple covers and turned off the light. Today was crazy. I can already tell that this year is going to be interesting.
A/N: So what did you guys think of the chapter? This is actually 32 pages on word :O Crazy right? But honestly, if you guys can't handle sexual things going on in my story, then stop reading. I'm not trying to make anyone feel uncomfortable. Next chapter is Robin's POV! I apologize for my spotty updates; I'm just so caught up with school.
