Yay another update for my fellow fanfictionites! How's it going? And virtual cookies all around!

Recap:
"Well, then. We have more than two whole days." Killua said. The clock in front of them showed '49:55'.
"Forty-nine hours and counting." Luka said.
"What should we do, Killua?" Gon asked.
"First, we should search the room, for any kind of entertainment." Killua said. The kids went to go search the room.
"Man, you kids dont have a care in the world." Leorio said. Kurapika and Tompa took their seats.
The team has passed the trial, with four wins and two losses. However they must spend the fifty- hour penalty in the small room. They're running out of time.

2 hours later...
Killua was teaching Gon and Luka how to skateboard. He did a trick on his board. "If you hesitate, on the first step you'll hurt yourself." He handed Gon his board next.
"Hey, Kurapika." Leorio called. "Once we've spent fifty hours here, we'll have fewer that ten hours right?"
"That's right." Kurapika replied.
"That's way more then enough time!" Leorio said cockily
"You're a fool." Tompa said, after sipping his tea.
"Whats that?"
"Phase three lasts seventy-two hours. Each phase is designed to weed out half of the remaining candidates. So, on average, it's meant to take seventy-two hours. Just more proof that you're an idiot." Tompa said.
"Well, our chances of reaching the goal withing ten hours will depend on the remaining trials." Kurapika said.
"Yeah, that's true." Leorio said.
"But when we've got a guy who's so down on his luck, he cant even win a simple game of Rock-paper-scissors..." Tompa insulted.
"What was that?!"
"You deliberately lost a bet, just to satisfy your libido." Tompa reminded Leorio of his recent shortcoming.
"Shut it! You surrendered without even a fight!" Leorio yelled.
"Sure, I surrendered. But I only wasted a second of our time. You lost, squandering fifty hours of our remaining hours. Take some responsibility, huh? Besides what kind of Hunter is so bad at gambling?" Tompa said.
'Unfortunately he's right.' Luka thought. She was listening to the conversation the entire time.
"Shut up! You dont even want to become a Hunter... You only care about ruining our chances." The skateboard then flew past Tompa's head and almost hit Kurapika and Leorio.
"Hey! What are you doing?!" Leorio yelled.
"Sorry about that." Gon said.
"Don't skateboard inside this tiny room!" Leorio yelled again.
"Aww..." Gon said.
"Its not like you got hit..." Luka said. It was her turn next after all.
That night...
Everyone lie asleep in the room... All except for Killua.
They all slept in their own separate couches. But Killua, Gon and Luka slept on the three seated couch. Killua wide awake on one side, Gon on the other and Luka was in between them. Killua would look down ever so often at Luka, mostly at the back of her head until she turned around in her sleep and faced him. She's put her hair up into a pony tail hours before.
'Her sleeping face... is really cute.' He thought. He looked up at the clock to distract himself from Luka. It said '40:06'. Of course that didn't work. He looked right back down at her and blushed.
Kurapika woke up and looked at Killua, "Cant sleep?"
Killua quickly hid his blush and looked at him. "That's not it. I can go two or three days without sleep."
"Ten hours have passed, huh?" Kurapika asked rhetorically.
"There aren't any windows so its hard to tell. But It's probably morning." Killua said.
"Most likely."
Killua then grabbed a pillow, and threw it at Gon, but he blocked it and tossed it back in his 'sleep'. Killua then threw it again and a smiling Gon caught it and threw it back. This woke Luka up and she caught it and threw it back at Gon. The three of them threw the pillow around. This lead to wrestling.
"Hey, pipe down." Leorio said. Gon was pushing a pillow down on Killua who was laying upside down. And Luka was once again between them. The three of them laughed. "Let me sleep some more..." Tompa then put his disgusting stinky feet near Leorio's face. "That stinks!" He sat up from the power of the stench.
Gon, Luka, and Killua laughed. Even Kurapika laughed. "What wrong with you guys? That wasn't funny." Leorio looked down at Tompa. "Bastard, you'd better not be pretending to sleep. Damn, now i'm totally awake... And we still have forty hours left?"
Hours later...
Leorio was back to sleep, Kurapika was reading the books in the room, and Tompa was clipping his toe nails.
"Oh, I thought you just had to stick bait on a hook, and you could fish." Killua said, examining the hook.
"Yeah you have to think like a fish." Gon said.
"Think like a fish?" Luka asked.
"Yup! How would a fish feel if it saw bait dangling in front of it?" Gon asked. "Give me that." Gon said, asking for the hook back. Gon then aimed his hook into Tompa's cup, surprising him.
"Wow!" Killua exclaimed. "Let me try. Like... this?" Killua sent the hook near by Leorio's foot.
"You missed." Gon laughed.
"Just watch." Killua pulled up and Leorio's leg was pulled.
"H-Hey... What are you doing? Hey." Leorio was awakened from his sleep.
"Just as planned!" Killua yelled.
"Nice." Gon complemented.
Luka snickered, "You caught a bad fish better throw it back!"
"Hey, you'll tear my pants! Stop it..." Leorio's pants almost came off. "See? I caught him."
"What's that supposed to mean? I'm a fish now?!" Leorio said.
"You dont have to get so mad. I'm not gonna grill you and eat you." Killua said.
"When isn't Leorio upset about something?" Luka asked.
"Don't mess with me, fool! Man, I cant even take a nap." Leorio yelled.
Tompa grinned, "What're you smiling about?" Leorio asked.
"Nothing, really."
"You must be up to something again." Leorio accused.
"Of course not. I just want to spend the rest of my time here peacefully." Tompa said.
"Liar! I dont trust you, got it?" Leorio said.
"Can I try your pole?" Luka asked.
"Sure!" Gon said, handing her the pole.
Morning...
'17:18' the clock showed. Luka, Killua, and Gon were having a pillow fight again, Tompa's and Leorio's stank feet were in each other's faces.
'12:07'
Everyone was doing some sort of training... 'This is weird... I've never trained like this before.' the kids were doing push ups... Upside down.
'08:43'
Lunch... A food fight almost started.
'06:29'
Kurapika had stacks of books around him, 'He's probably read every book in this room...' Luka thought.
'03:26'
The kids' had resorted to hand games, as there was nothing left to do. Killua had to catch their hand before it managed to get through his. He easily caught Gon's hand then laughed and flicked his head.
"Ow!"
"My turn!" Luka said.
Luka almost got through. Killua caught her by a thumb. "Almost." Killua then hesitantly flicked her head. "Ow."
'01:00'
"One more hour..." Leorio sighed. Luka decided to put her hair back under her cap.
00:01
Gon put his bag on. "Okay! Ready to go!"
"One more minute." Killua said.
"Good thing, too. I was starting to get annoyed with being in this room." Luka said.
"This is one long minute." Leorio said.
The door leading out of the room then opened and Gon immediately ran out. "Wait up Gon!" Leorio yelled.
30 min later...
They were standing on the platform the were on when they challenged the prisoners. "Thirty minutes of running, just to end up where we started." Leorio said
"We should have taken those stairs down." Killua said.
"Shut up! We all agreed on this route!" Leorio yelled. Their next route consisted of... a railroad cart with a broken track, falling ground, a boulder rolling down the hallway trying to crush them and a load of other hazards.
"This is ridiculous." Luka said.
"Man, I'm covered in dirt." Killua said, trying to wipe it off.
"We only have an hour left..." Leorio huffed.
There was a sign in front of them. O to open the door before them, and X to not open the door. "We're supposed to vote on whether to open the door? We need to move on so obviously we want the door to open."
Leorio was so angry his veins popped out. He grabbed the collar of Tompa's shirt, "I've had enough of your crap."
"Um... I have the watch now, Leorio. And I pressed 'O'" Luka said.
"Huh?"
"Yeah, Leorio. I accidentally pressed the wrong button." Gon said.
"What?" Leorio asked, rhetorically. He put down Tompa. "Oh, I see"
"Wait." Tompa said. "You owe me an apology. I can't let that slide."
"Its your own fault, for doing thing to make me distrust you. I dont owe you anything." Leorio said, glaring back at Tompa.
"You make it sound like I'm to blame for everything that's gone wrong." Tompa said.
"What?"
"Have you forgotten who cost those fifty hours? You're the one who made a critical mistake." Tompa said.
"Hey, Leorio..." Kurapika said, grabbing Leorio's arm.
Leorio shrugged him off "Shut up, Kurapika!"
Leorio and Tompa both got into a position to fight.
"Are they really gonna waste our time like this? I say we leave them to fight." Luka said, folding her arms.
"Stop this, guys." Gon said. "Its my fault for pressing the wrong button."
"Stupid. I'm moving ahead." Killua said, opening the door.
"Wait, Killua!" Gon said.
"Hey, Gon, Luka. We're getting close to the goal." Killua said, after going through the door.
"What? Really?" Gon asked.
"We are?" Luka asked.
The next stop was a door with an 'O' on it and another one with an 'X' on it. "This will be the last decision made by majority rule. Are you ready? choose 'X' or 'O'. That's it." Killua read.
"Am I ready?" Leorio repeated. "You bet!"
Tompa nudged Luka's arm, and she pressed the wrong button by accident. 'When this is all over, I'm gonna kill him!'
'O'4 'X'1
"Bastard!" Leorio yelled.
"Stop!" Kurapika yelled. "We dont have time to argue about this!"
"Please select a path. There are two choices, One path allows you all to pass, but is long and difficult. The other path allows only four but is short and easy. Incidentally, the long and difficult path requires a minimum of forty five hours. The short and easy path leads to the goal in approximately three minutes. Press 'O' For the long and difficult path, and 'X' for the short and easy path. If 'X' is selected, two people must be secured to the wall with handcuffs, Before the door will open. The two members will be unable to move until the time limit expires." Lippo explained.
'If we have no choice, then I pick Leorio and Tompa.' Luka thought.
"The examiners were very prepared. I think they have every weapon under the sun here." Kurapika said. "Two out of six... So were supposed to fight, to decide the three who pass?"
"Let me make this clear." Leorio said. "I'm going to press 'X'. But I have no intention of staying behind. I'll do whatever it takes to be one of the three..."
"You're shameless. had you not wasted fifty hours, we could have taken the long path. Shouldn't you take responsibility and stay behind?" Tompa said.
"What?!" Leorio yelled.
"I'm sure everyone else agrees!" Tompa said looked at them. "Have I said anything inaccurate?"
"Hold on." Gon said. "I'm going to press 'O'. We made it all the way here together. Even if it's a big risk, I want to give it a shot!"
"Hey, you cant really call this a risk. We have less than an hour." Killua said showing his watch.
"Gon, you want to pass this exam, right? Then there's only one choice." Luka said.
"There you have it." Leorio said.
"Now we have to decide how to choose which four pass." Killua said. "Well i'm planning on three of them being you, me and Luka."
An ax came out of no where and almost dug it self into Leorio's shoulder. "Tompa, that was dirty!"
"In a fight there no such thing as dirty!" He once again attacked Leorio with the Ax. Leorio grabbed a weapon and attacked Tompa.
"Stop this, you two!" Kurapika said, about to pull out this swords.
'The only upside to this is, if they kill each other It'll be easier to choose which way.' Luka thought.
"Come on... Let's do this together." Gon said.
"Before we start fighting, we have to choose 'O' or 'X'!" Leorio yelled.
"It's too late for that!" Tompa said, his axe smashed into the wall and broke it slightly. .
"Time to put you in your place." Leorio said.
"Right back at you." Tompa said.
"Seems our only choice is to fight." Killua said, manipulating his hand.
"I agree." Luka said. Gon stepped back and picked up an ax.
One minute left...
'Kurapika, applicant #404, is the twenty-sixth to pass. Killua, applicant #99, is the twenty-seventh to pass. Luka, applicant #402, is the twenty-eighth to pass. Gon applicant #405 is the twenty-ninth to pass. Total time, seventy-one hours and fifty-nine minutes.' The three of them were covered in dirt.
"That was a real pain..." Luka said.
"My butt hurts..." Killua complained. "I didn't expect a slide for the short and easy path."
'Thirty seconds remain.'
"That was really close." Gon said.
"My hands are covered in blisters." Killua said.
"Same here."
'Leorio, applicant #403, is the thirtieth to pass. Tompa, applicant #16 is the thirty-first to pass.' Tompa and Leorio were walk fighting to the end of the small walk way.
"My hands are blistered, but the five of us cleared the tower together. All thanks to Gon!" Leorio said, ruffling Gon's hair.
'O' 5 'X' 0 They chose the Long and difficult path. And Broke a hole in the wall with the weapons, to sneak into the Short and easy path. \\
"Man, I cant believe you actually came up with that idea on the spot." Leorio said.
"I realized that we could break the walls, using the weapons. But it took over fifty minutes." Gon said.
'The exam is now over! Thirty-one applicants have passed. One has died.' A door leading outside the tower opened
"Well, on to the next phase." Luka said.
Luka and the others have finally left the tower and are on to the next phase! Will the voice in Luka's head prove to be something that hurts her chances on winning the Hunter Exam? Will Kurapika confront Luka on her glowing red eyes? You'll have to wait till next time on 'Love Bites'.
