AN/ I have changed a few important things in chapter 10 so I would recommend you go back and read that chapter again.

Chapter 11: Date

It had been a nerve-wracking week. Hermione hadn't stopped talking about his date with Draco, and now he was really nervous. He hadn't really been on a proper date before (Cho didn't count) and he wasn't too sure what to expect. What if he ruined it or did something wrong.

They had planned to meet at the Front Doors at 9 am, so he had 2 hours with Hermione to get ready.

He arrived at the room of requirements at quarter to seven and entered to find a huge room filled with mirrors with Hermione standing in the middle next to a sink.

"Harry, you're early. I wasn't expecting you for at least another 20 minutes. Come in, Have a seat. We are going to try and tackle your hair first. Its needs the most work. Then I have you outfit planned out. I think some eyeliner would make you look beautiful. But I guess you might not agree to that so we will see." She rattled off in a single breath look at him contemplatively.

His hair took almost an hour for her to wash, dry and style it to her standards. It was no longer a bird's nest and now resembled messy beach hair, according to Hermione. To Harry though it didn't look all that different. Next was the outfit. He didn't know where she had gotten the clothes from, but they fit him perfectly. She had him dressed in Black skinny jeans, an emerald green V-neck shirt, and a black leather jacket.

After spend 20minutes arguing with Hermione about the eyeliner he finally caved and let her put some on.

He almost didn't recognise himself when he looked in the mirror. He had never worn clothes that fitted this well before. He looked hot.

"Perfect" Hermione announced after she finished fiddling with his hair again.

"Thanks, Hermione." He hugged her tightly.

"You better get going, you don't want to be late for your first date. Have fun and don't do anything I wouldn't do" She teased.

Harry nodded and smiled at her, he encapsulated her in another quick hug and ran from the room.

Draco was standing in the entrance hall waiting for him when he arrived. He was dressed in tailored Black dress pants and a white V-neck sweater with the arms pushed up to just below the elbows. He looked amazing. But then again Draco always looked magnificent.

Harry watched as Draco glanced up as he approached and his eyes widened in shock.

"Wow. You look amazing Harry." He whispered entranced.

"I know, shocking right. Hermione is a miracle worker. I didn't even recognise myself." Draco smiled as he dragged his eyes slowly up Harrys figure admiring Hermione's work. He smiled at Harrys blush when he finally finished his inspection.

"You look Amazing." He intoned as he held out his arm for Harry to grab. Harrys blush increased as he allowed Draco to lead him to Hogsmeade.

"I have reserved us a table at Este La Comelia. It's a nice little out of the way restaurant. No one should bother us there. So we have until 12 to do some shopping."

They decided to leave Weasleys' Wizard Wheezes till after lunch as Harry wanted to spend some time with the twins. They visited the bookstore where he managed to find hormone a Christmas present. Hermione was always the easiest person to get a present for. She loved expanding her knowledge and was always happy to get a new book. They then visited Honey Dukes next, and Draco presented him with a chocolate rose that was a different flavor cholate for every layer of petals. They visited Dervish & Banges next which was a small store on the outskirts of Hogsmeade. It had magical instruments of all sorts. Harry's favorite was a Ring that allowed the wearer to tell if someone was lying to them.

After that, it was close to lunch time, so they made their way over to Este La Comelia.

It was a small restaurant off the main road of Hogsmeade and from the front looked pretty ordinary. Inside though was fantastic. The walls were a warm red with candles illuminating the room. The tables were set immaculately with a candle centerpiece on each one. They were directed over to a corner booth that was blocked from the view of the rest of the room. It was gorgeous and had a window with a changing view. The view at the moment was that of an ocean sunset. It was unbelievable. Harry had never seen the ocean before, and to him, it was the most beautiful thing he had ever seen.

The food was exquisite and by the time they were done Harry was stuffed. That had to be the best meal Harry had ever had. They left the restaurant chatting quietly hand in hand. The rounded the corner heading back to the main street of Hogsmeade only to run head first into Ron.

Neither noticed the twins and Hermione approaching as Ron started to yell at them.

"watch where you are going you freak."

"Shut your mouth weasel. You have no right to talk to Harry like that." Draco Sneered as he pulled Harry back into his arms protectively.

"I have every right. That freak doesn't even deserve to live let alone be anywhere near us ordinary people. It's no wonder everyone around him keeps dying, they can't wait to get away from his freakiness. Sirius, Cedric, Your parents. It's your fault they are dead. All of them. And to think I could have been next. Yu should be the one that's dead." He spat harshly enjoying the color of Harry's face draining away as he continued. He laughed and turned to walk away only to be stopped by a fist connecting to his face.

"You Disgust me, brother," Fred said leaving Ron on the floor with a bloody nose.

He approached Harry and Draco with George and Hermione hot on his heels.

Harry had his head turned into Draco's chest and refused to look at anyone. Ron was right it was all his fault. Draco was trying to calm him down by whispering soothingly into his ear.

"None of that was true Harry. You know none of that was your fault. Ron's just an idiot."

He whispered as he directed Harry toward the twins shop, Harry was upset enough as it is he didn't need people to see him like this.

Harry's sobs hadn't quieted by the time they reached the shop, so Draco picked him up and followed the twins up the stairs at the back of the shop into their small apartment.

Draco sat down on the couch and pulled Harry into his lap his arms automatically wrapping around harry's back as Harry buried his head into Draco's shoulder.

Hermione came over and sat down next to them and soothingly ran her hands through his Harry.

"Shhh Harry, it's okay. Calm down." She spoke evenly, and Harry gradually calmed down.

He felt a soft kiss land on the top of his head and looked up at Draco tears still rolling down his checks.

Draco gently wiped the tears from his cheeks and kissed Harry's forehead.

"Okay, I'm in" Hermione spoke up from his side causing everyone to look at her confused.

"What?" Harry croaked his voice cracking slightly.

"For the prank, you were right. Ron isn't going to stop." She elaborated.

"Really." Harry smiled and at her nod he pulled her into a hug not leaving his place in Draco's arms. He felt safe here in Draco's arms like nothing could hurt him.

"Leave it to us," One of the twins piped up from the other side of the room

"We have the perfect thing for little Ronnikins." The other continued.

"No one treats our little brother like that and gets away with it." Harry looked over at them and smiled at their antics.

"You're not mad at me?"

"Why would we be mad at you?" Harry glanced up at Draco then turned back to the twins.

"Of course we aren't mad at you."

"We've been expecting something like this to happen since your first year."

"We are proud of you" they finished together causing Harry to blush and bury his head into Draco's shoulder to hide his face. He had never been good at accepting praise.

"Now about that prank. We have some planning to do."

The rest of the Hogsmeade trip was spent relaxing in Fred and George's apartment and planning revenge. Harry didn't leave Draco's arms. Even when they said goodbye to the twins and headed back to Hogwarts, Draco kept him close, and he was glad for that. It had been a trying day.

Drarry4eva: Yeah I don't know where the spelling for her name came from. Must have been exhausted or something. Also, are you offering your services, because I am looking for a beta to read over my story? I'm not the best with grammar and such obviously.

HarryPotterforlife23: Reading back on the last chapter I can see some reluctance in Hermione and I do think your right. Thank you for your suggestion. Also sorry that it's been a while since the last update. I should have more time to update now so look forward to some updates soon

Megan: Not sure if this is the same Megan as Harrypotterforlife or not but thanks for the review. I'm thinking of having Nott and Ron work together to break them apart. What are your thoughts? I do like Theo but needed a villain in Slytherin.

TigressKama: I know. I'm working on it and hopefully will get a great beta soon.

Kigen Dawn, I hope you liked what happened in this chapter. There will be more trouble with Ron but not for a little bit. Also, I am completely open to any other suggestions for revenge against Ron. It will be needed in later chapters.

Megan (again) : There was almost so much tension between them it had to be sexual there was no other way. But they are never going to be in the kind of relationship with no fights. I love the way I see their relationship. So much cuteness and so much love.

Razur: you were pretty close with your guess. Yay. I am still looking for a beta. I haven't written anything in a while but feel terrible about leaving it hanging for so long. Am hoping to update a lot more frequently now.

Lumcer: totally forgot about Neville. I'm not sure, what are your thoughts? I think he will definitely be supportive because I can't see him any other way. Maybe he might start dating Hermione. Also maybe not? Will have to think about that one.
