Sesshomaru raced to her home, in the dark of night, in the cold of winter.

"should I go after him?" Inuyasha asked his father,

"No, leave him"

Inuyasha thought it was nuts, Sesshomaru could kill them if he wanted. All they could do was wait till he came back. Kagome would spend the night, and if she was good, she may be allowed to stay the next day.

The closer he got, he could hear voices, it was her family, they were looking for her.

He heard her father, he heard her mother and he even heard her brother. Sesshomaru slowed down, and soon he could see a horse with a small boy on it, her brother.

Sota stopped the horse "Sesshomaru!"

He didn't say anything, and Sota just sat there "Mom, Dad, over here"

Her parents came running "Did you find her" They called as they ran to him, of course they stopped in their tracks "Lord Sesshomaru" They say scared.

"Missing something"

Her father bowed up "Yes, Kagome snuck away, we fear she may be on her way to see you"

Sesshomaru walked up to them, mind you he is still shorter than them "I do not want her"

Her mother gasped and placed a hand on her heart "You, don't?" Did he detect relief in her voice?

"Do you have her?" Her father asked,

"She will stay the night, I will return her tomorrow"

They felt much better knowing their daughter was safe.

"Thank you" Her parents bowed,

"No not thank me"

Sesshomaru spun around and quickly left. Plan set, he would return her and spend as much time as he could away from her and he hoped her parents would keep doing what they where doing, nothing. They where not grooming Kagome to be his mate as they had done with their first daughter, it was clear her mother was not happy with him, which was also fine with him.

Once her returned home, he spoke to no one and went to his own room. his father gave him a little time to himself before going to his room and opening the door "Sesshomaur my son, I know you are angry with me"

" I will not mate her"

"So you will take a vampire, once done it can not be undone, you can not have children with a vampire wife"

"Then I shall never mate, leave me!"

That night Kagome slept warm and in a large bed, by herself in a night big bedroom. She told everyone that Inu Pa pa told her it was her room. Kagome was far to young to see that she was in a dark castle full of pure blooded vampires.

Morning came and brought sun, and Kagome lit up the castle with her smile and laughing. She raced down the halls with giggles, Lord Toga loved it, he could not wait to have grand kids.

Sesshomaru finally had enough of her loudness, it would seem the maids had taking a liking to the girl, from the sounds of it, she was sliding down the halls in an old tray. The noise was killing him. He swung open the door and she slid right to his feet with a laugh. He glared down at her "Wanna play?" She asked sitting on the tray.

"I do not play"

She shrugged her shoulder, stood up, took the tray and ran back down the hall. He watched as she got ready to do it again "Again!" She yelled and the maids laughed.

"Stop that" Sesshomaru stated, and it had her smile fading. The maids quickly ran away as Sesshomaru walked up to her "The maid are not your play things"

She cocked her head to the side "Are you a prince?" She asked,

He eyed her "Yes"

She smiled bright "Can I be a princess?!" She beamed,

"No"

Her smile vanished and tears formed "Your so mean, I'm telling Inu Papa"

Sesshomaru rolled his eyes as the little girl ran away.
