Author's Note: OH MY GOD GUYS I AM SO SO INCREDIBLY SORRY! I really really am! I've had mocks last week and today and I have real GCSEs in a month-ish time so I may not post a new chapter for a while after today either, sorry! Thank you, all of you for reading, reviewing, favouring and following! Ask any writer and they'll tell you that it really is an amazing feeling. Anyway, onwards and upwards, incase you've forgotten:
Previously...
Everyone begun their all too familiar routine of making coffee, Morgan looked over to see Reid who was midway through the process of making his coffee and smirked as the doctor reached over to the other side of the desk for the pot of sugar when Morgan oh so casually tipped over the milk carton, spilling it all over Reid's sweater vest.
Reid grunted, "Oh great, just what I wanted." He grabbed some napkins and started to dab where the milk was spilled, both on himself and the desk. The girls snickered and giggled while Reid blushed. Morgan grinned mischievously and said,
"You know, kid, it'd be best if you cleaned that in the bathroom with water."
Reid looked up at him and turned towards the doorway of the office, "Yeah, I guess you're right." He left abruptly staring at the floor before disappearing through the doorway. Rossi felt sorry for Reid and followed him through the door to the men's bathroom.
Morgan leaned back to make sure both had left the bullpen area, and jogged to the break room and rummaged hurriedly through the drawers and cupboards. He finally found what he was looking for and held it up before checking quickly that the two agents were still in the bathroom. He grabbed another carton of milk from the fridge and jogged back to Hotch's office. He grabbed Reid's cup and poured a generous amount of the salt into Reid's cup and stirred it quickly before pouring the milk into it. The four remaining agents laughed as they caught Derek's plan.
Penelope laughed, "I guess this is round two huh?"
Derek smiled up at her, loving how equally evil they were. He put the milk away in a safe place and grabbed some napkins to wipe up the rest of the milk remaining on the desk. He crouched down to wipe up the milk that was spilled on the floor. When he crouched down, Garcia stepped over and switched Rossi and Reid's coffee cups...
Morgan finished cleaning up the mess on Hotch's desk and on the floor and tossed the bunched napkins in the trash can under the desk. Reid and Rossi returned from the bathroom. Reid blushed as Penelope giggled when he passed her. He grabbed his coffee cup and Morgan said,
"I made your coffee whilst you were gone."
"Well, thank you." Reid said as he picked up his coffee cup and took a sip. Morgan smirked behind the rim of his own cup as he did so. Reid made a face at the lack of sugar in the coffee, but soon concealed it as he didn't want to say anything to upset Morgan because he got his coffee wrong. Morgan looked confused at the situation. Penelope furrowed her brows at him and gave a weird look in Reid's general direction. He shrugged and sat down.
Penelope directed her attention to Rossi, who had picked up his coffee cup. He finished what he had said to Hotch and Prentiss and raised the cup to his lips. He made a face when the scent of the coffee reached his nostrils, but something was off. It smelt rather brackish, some what salty. He shrugged and chalked it up to him being tired. It couldn't be much worse than the cop shop coffee he and the team were all too familiar with. He took a sip slowly. Hotch watched him as his features complexed,
"You okay?" a smile played on his lips, matching the ones on Emily's.
The other four in the room turned their attention to the other three. Rossi made a face at the strange taste but swallowed his "coffee" regardless. He watched their expressions carefully. Some of concern, some of amusement. Once he'd found his culprit, he replied
"Yeah, I'm fine. Just dazed out a little. Tired I guess." He walked out and around to his own office as the others turned to their affairs. He had a plan in mind. He just had to get them all drunk first.
Just an hour later, and they were all more or less hammered. Hotch ditched his suit jacket, his hair was a little ruffled and his red tie hung loosely around his neck. Morgan... looked pretty normal. Looked like he did before. But when he begun to talk, walk or even sit up it became apparent that he was drunk. His speech was slurred and he slumped in a heap of cushions and blankets with Garcia by is side. She rested on his shoulder, both with bottles of beer in their hands. Rossi also ditched his suit jacket and sat cross legged on the floor next to JJ. JJ pulled her hair back loosely in a ponytail. She'd gone to her office to fetch Will's hoodie which she always kept with her at work in her office as well as on cases. The hoodie was huge. It came down to halfway between her hip and her knee and the sleeves were like massive trunks. Overall, she looked pretty well. Emily and Reid were another story. Reid's hair was dishevelled as were his clothes. When he spoke, his speech was slurred and high pitched, and he occasionally wore his socks on his hands. He was drunk, enough said. Emily's clothes were also dishevelled and rumpled. Over time, she leaned closer and closer to Hotch. Their hands brushed each others and their hips were joined as were their shoulders. She occasionally rested her full weight onto his side and he didn't mind.
"Shall we carry on with the game?"
"Yeah! I dare-" Reid was cut off by Penelope,
"No! Reeee-id we need to spin the bottle first!" Garcia slurred and giggled.
Reid laughed for an entire minute, and gasped for air as he tried to explain why he was laughing, "I-! He broke out into a laughing fit yet again.
"Reid spit it out already!" Morgan all but laughed.
"I-" Reid gasped for air "I forgot! I never forget! I have, a uh" He clicked his fingers as he tried to gather his words "Etic? Memoire? No, memory... Etic, etic? " Rossi was about to interrupt him but Reid hushed him "No, don't tell me. I know this..." His face relaxed and he pointed towards the others and announced, "I- I, have a.. a... oh shit. erm" His hand came up to his forehead as he tried to arrange his thoughts.
"Eidetic memory" Rossi said slowly and exaggerated every syllable.
"What even is that... Dave?!" Reid said as he leaned forward to take the bottle from Garcia, "Diabetic memory, pfft. I though you were smart." The team held in their laughter at the scene before them. They'd never seen this side of Reid. probably because he didn't usually drink that much when the team went out to bars after cases or long days in the office. Reid spun the bottle and watched it as it slowly came to a stop, with the neck of the bottle pointing at Rossi.
Reid laughed, "Okay, Ros-Rossi" He pointed his finger at him and took another swig of beer from his bottle. "Truth or Dare?"
"Truth." Dave took another swig of his beer.
"Okay, truth, truth, thu- TRUTH!" Reid smirked at him, "If you were one of the characters from Kung Fu Panda, which do you think you'd be?"
"Kung Fu Panda?" Hotch asked and chuckled, as did the rest of the team.
Emily tilted her beer bottle so that the neck of it was pointed at Rossi, "Master Shifu."
All of them roared with laughter whilst Rossi sat there, trying to contain his own. It was going to be a long night.
Author's Note: So that is that, for now at least. I'm sorry it couldn't be longer. I've lost my muse with this story so fuel me with ideas if you have them. Please review, criticism is welcomed. Thank you guys, you're all very awesome. :)
