CHAPTER ELEVEN
Hermione woke up to her alarm beeping loudly at her groaning she rolled over and shut it off. She did not get a good sleep last night, she slowly pulled herself out of her bed and made her way to the bathroom to get ready. To tired to shower she cast a quick spell on herself to clean her body and hair.
Hermione made her way slowly back to her room and pulled out a pair of black leggings, a green tank, and a silvery button up shirt that was tight untill just under her boobs and then was long and loose underneath that. Quickly getting dressed she put the tiniest amount of make up on, a pair of flats and went down to the common room.
When Hermione got down the stairs she saw a travel mug and her potions assignment sitting on the coffee table. Hermione walked up to grab her assignment and then saw a note on top of it.
'Mione,
sorry about last night.
here's a cup of coffee to start your morning.
I spelled the mug so it'd stay warm.
and your potions assignemt too.
Draco.
Hermione was a little confused by the kind gesture but decided to take the coffee anyways. It was perfect, just the way she liked it. She moaned as she drank it and started on her way to the great hall for breakfast.
Hermione happily sipped her coffee as she made her way to the great hall, each sip bringing her out of her groggy state a bit.
"Slyther colours? That's a pretty bold move don't you think?" she heard a smooth voice comment.
Looking down at herself she realized she was indeed in Slytherin's colour and let out a little giggle, turning to the voice she found a certain blonde haired boy was the culprit, "I was really tired when I got dressed this morning. Thanks for the coffee," she said taking another sip, "It's helping."
Draco smiled at her, a genuine smile. Hermione was a little taken back by this and gave him a skeptical look but before either could say anything Theo came up behind Hermione before poking her in the side causing a giggle to erupt from her throat. Turning arounf she smiled widely at him.
"Good morning Theo," she chirped happily making Draco feel sick to his stomach.
Theo greeted Hermione and offered to walk her to the great hall. They couple waved good bye to Draco and started on their way, neither of them noticing him staring daggers into Theo's back.
"I didn't realize you and Draco were friends," Theo said as they were walking away.
"Well I wouldn't say we're exactly friends, but we've had to learn to get along since we're both head's," Hermione explained smiling up at Theo, he smiled fondly down at her.
They walked the rest of the way mostly in a comfortable silence, Theo snaking his arm around Hermione's shoulders and Hermione blushing a little. When they got to the great hall Theo turned to Hermione and gave her a kiss on the cheek.
"See you after breakfast love," he told her before make his way to the Slytherin table.
Hermione floated over to her friends, not even noticing their curious gazes, and sat down and started to eat. After a couple minutes of slience Ginny got to anxious to wait any long, "What was that 'Mione!?" she practically yelled at her friend getting the attention of a couple other students around them.
Hermione blushed and waiting till they turned away before saying, "Hush Gin, you don't have to inform the whole school of our conversations." Hermione sighed, "And as for that, I'm not to sure, we spent the day together yesterday and when he walked me back to my dorm he kissed me. Then when he ran into me this morning he offered to walk me to the great hall and then, well you saw."
Ginny smiled widely at her friend, "OUUUUUU!" she squealed, "Hermione's got a boooooyfriend," she teased.
Hermione almost spit out her food. "I do not!" she gasped, "He hasn't even asked me on a date Gin!" she told her overly excited friend, "You need to calm down!"
Ginny just laughted at Hermione, "Calm down 'Mione, jeeze, I was only yanking your leg," she responded.
Hermione laughed with her friend brushing it off, but she couldn't help peering over to Theo every couple minutes. Why had he kissed her in front of everyone? They weren't a couple...right?
Hermione pondered these thoughts as she ate her breakfast then headed to potions. When she got to potions Hermione took her seat near the front and started to read over her notes. She was deep in thought when she heard the chair beside her scrape against the floor and some one plop themselves down.
When Draco walked into potions he spotted Hermione imediately and made a bee line straight to the open seat beside her, before Theo could get there, he thought bitterly to himself. He pulled out the stool and sat down loudly, and just as he hoped Hermione turned to him.
Draco smiled widely at Hermione, "Hullo love," he said as brightly as he was capable of.
Hermione looked at him strangely, "What are you up to Malfoy?" she asked skepticall raising her left brow at him.
"Nothing 'Mione," she noticed his use of her nickname, "I'm just trying to be friendly I guess, I'm tired of fighting all the time, it's exhausting, especially when the truth is that we actually like eachother and are both able to hold our own in an intelligent conversation," Draco explained kindly.
Hermione raised her eye brow at him, still not sure what he was getting at, but she decided to give it a go, "Okay Draco, I agree it is quite exhausting fighting all the time, espeically seeing as we share living quaters and have to spend quite a bit of time together patrolling and carrying out other head duties."
Draco smiled at Hermione, "So mates then?" he asked holding his hand out for a hand shake.
Hermione nodded and took his hand shaking it. Just as she was about to say something though Snape stormed in, robes billowing around him looked around the class and saw Harry and Ron talking.
"Mister Weasley, Mister Potter class has obviousloy started seeingas I am here so if you could HUSH UP!" he drawled out smoothly, "50 points from Gryffindor."
Always them, Hermione thought to herself looking back to her two ashamed friends, it's always them, she shook her head a little amused and turned to Snape to start the lesson.
