Carly is receiving these letters since senior high, but she didn't know that Freddie was the one who is writing these letters. Few years later, the icarly gang received a letter of invitation about a high school reunion. Freddie has the chance to tell Carly the truth about his little secret. Will Freddie able to tell the truth? Rated T for future chapters. CREDDIE :D

11. So close yet So Far

It was already 6 pm and Freddie was almost finished.

"Hey Carls wanna get some pasta?" Freddie asked but Carly didn't replied

"Carly" He stood up and found out that Carly fell asleep in the couch

He bend his knees to see Carly's beautiful face and he lightly brushed her hair with his hand.

"Why did you leave me Carly? It's all my fault for not being there with you when you needed me the most especially prom, I was so stupid and a coward for not telling you. I'm really sorry" Freddie whispered to her while brushing her hair

Freddie slowly gets close to Carly to kiss her until...

"Ring Ring"

Carly's phone began to ring and he stands up like nothing happend

"Uuuuurrrrggghhh" Carly slowly opened her eyes and slowly sat up

"Oh I'm sorry I was so tired and my head was like telling me to go to sleep" Carly said

"No it's okay, look like you needed it anyway" Freddie replied while returning to his desk

Carly grabbed her phone and saw that her boss is calling her few seconds ago.

"Umm i should take this" Carly stands up and goes to the door

"Sure" Freddie replied

Did Carly heard everything I said Freddie thought to himself. Few minutes later, she returned to his office.

"Well how did it go?" Freddie asked

"Well I told her the event was moved next week and the article is not finished yet" Carly replied

"Then what did she say?"

"Well she told me that as long as I finish the article finish next week and attend the event as well"

"Okay then"

Freddie and Carly went to pack their things and went straight to the elevator, Freddie and Carly fell silent then Freddie broke their silence.

"Um Carly?" Freddie said

"Yes" Carly asked

"Never mind, I forgot"

"Okay"

So they went home and ate dinner. While Carly is washing the dishes Freddie broke their silence again.

"Um Carly?" Freddie asked

"Yes Freddie?"

"Umm.. did you hear something while you were asleep?"

"What kind of a question is that, of course i did not hear anything" Carly replied giggling thinking Freddie is having a joke.

"I'm serious"

"No.. is there something I should or should not know?"

"Well no-"

"Freddie you said yourself i was asleep and why will I hear something from reality If I'm busy dreaming?"

"Touche"

CARLY'S POV

Freddie and Carly are finished washing the dishes and they went back to their room. Carly could not sleep for like 30 mins. so she grabbed her silky bathrobe and went to the living room. She leaned in the window and stared at the beautiful streets of New York City.

"Ugh Freddie I heard everything in the office and I'm sorry" Carly whispered to herself

Carly suddenly felt someone brushing her hair

"Why did you leave me Carly? It's all my fault for not being there with you when you needed me the most especially prom, I was so stupid and a coward for not telling you. I'm really sorry" Freddie told her

Carly suddenly feel his warm breath to her face thinking that he was about to kiss her until her phone rang

Sometimes I hate my boss for calling me in the wrong time :3 Carly though to herself as she sat up

she saw Freddie standing in front of her like nothing happened.

Slowly Carly's tears began to fall down in her cheeks but she didn't mind

"Freddie, I should be the one who should apologize not you/ It's my fault for not telling you that i knew you were the one who was sending those letters. I just wanted to see if you confess to me that night and you were afraid that i might reject you"

Carly paused for a moment

"I also wished every night when i was in London that we'll be together again but as years passed by my wish never came true"

Carly reminisce her wish in London

She was in her balcony and stared at the night sky. She closed her eyes to make a wish

"I wish that me and Freddie will be together again"

She made her wish then went back to bed

"And now you're engaged, I was too late to get you back. All I can do is wish for you to be happy"

"I know that I have many boyfriends before but they never made me happy like you do and every time I have a date with them I always think of you. Why this time? Why did I show in your doorstep when you're already engaged" Carly said to herself

Carly stayed their longer until she felt sleepy and went back to bed/

Okay I kinda put Carly's POV. So is fate and destiny playing their emotions or Fate and Destiny is helping them to get back together?
