A.N Sorry this chapter is shorter than the last but I hope you enjoy.
I walked out went to the hangar, I looked around looking for an opportunity and I found it. There was a young man close to my age, he was working on a jet and grabbed tools from a toolbox. I muttered a spell and my make up appeared on me with cover up, blush, bright red lipstick, and smoky eye shadow. I made my way over to him. I pretended to look at the jet before facing him when I did he was looking at me. I smiled a little and blinked a little batting my eye lashes,
"Hi"
"Hey" He said
He was wearing a blue SHIELD uniform brown hair, blue eyes, and had smudges on his tanned face. He was lying on his back on a cart to roll under the jet,
"Aren't you too young to be on a military base?" I asked
"I'm sixteen and I'm here as their mechanic what are you doing here?" He asked
"I'm Tony Stark's assistant, but I need help"
"With what"
"I need to go to London to fetch something for Stark" I lied "if I don't I'll lose my job"
"I don't know how I can help"
"Do you know how to fly these things?" I asked
"Yes"
"Then take me"
"I don't want to risk losing my job" He said
"You won't I promise" I went down on one knee close to him and put on hand on his arm "please"
"What will I get?" He asked
"I don't know"
"Ok I'll take you to London" He said
"Thank you"
I walked inside and sat down on the bench, he walked into the pilot's seat but his clothes changed to a white shirt, blue jeans, and sneakers. I buckled up and soon we were flying, we landed at an airport and when I got out he grabbed my hand.
"I said I'll take you to London follow me"
I did and we walked out to the front of the airport, he hailed a taxi and drove to London. While we were in the car he wrapped an arm around my shoulder. I didn't do anything to make us look suspicious. We finally made it to the city and he paid he taxi, we got out and I found myself near a park. The sun shined down brightly and he walked next to me.
"My name is Jake by the way" He said "follow me"
We walked into the park, it was ok, but he walked closer to me and wrapped an arm around my waist. I didn't want to draw attention and we kept walking, we made it in the archway under a stone bridge, there wasn't anyone in sight.
"Where are we going?" I asked
"Somewhere private"
"Ok Jake thank you" I said pushing him away "but I'm leaving"
"Hey" He said grabbing my arm "you owe me"
I slapped him hard on the cheek and he let go,
"I don't owe you anything"
He grabbed my arms and pinned me against the wall,
"I risked my job you owe me a lot"
He leaned in closer and closer closing his eyes, I moved my head and tried to push him away.
"Get off" I demanded
"Come on it won't hurt"
I kicked him between the legs and he let go, I punched him as hard as I could and knocked him out. I walked out from the bridge and walked around the city. I went to a coffee house and sat down at a table next to a large window. While I waited for my order I looked out the window, and I saw him. Walking down the street across the street from the coffee house, he was wearing a black suit and green scarf. He looked around and walked down the street, I got up and ran.
Back at the base
Thor was pacing at the bridge with the team, Fury, and Jane.
"Where is she?" Fury asked
"Director she asked where we where and I told her." Natasha said
"Where could she go?" Steve asked
"She's looking for Michael" Thor said "Or her dad"
"Or both" Tony said "but we don't even know where they are."
"She's a smart girl she knows how to stay hidden." Clint said "She'll lie low nearby"
"We're above England so I would check the big cities like London first." Bruce said "She can easily blend into a large crowd."
"Thor" Jane whispered "when you find her, you better apologize."
