Chapter 11
Kim was shaken awake by an unseen figure. Her eyes fluttered open at the disturbance, and immediately filled with fear. But as Jacks beautiful face came into clarity, Kim relaxed into his embrace. She had never felt so happy to see him.
"Kim." Jack breathed a sigh if relief.
"Jack." Kim said, her voice breaking with emotion.
"It's okay. You're safe now. How did you escape?" Jack asked.
"They underestimated me." Kim choked out before a violent coughing attack.
"Easy, easy." Jack said, rubbing soothing circles on her wounded back.
"We need to get out of here."
Jack nodded his agreement.
As the pair struggled to get up, they were surprised with two dark clothed visitors. Kim nearly collapsed in Jacks arms as she recognized their faces. It was Nick and Hudson.
"No." Kim cried, clinging to Jacks jacket.
"Stay away." Jack said firmly.
Nick and Hudson ignored the two teenagers pleas and started a slow descent upon their pray.
"Kim, it's been a while." Nick said as he tried to rip her away from Jack.
Jack was not having that, he released an angered hit at Nicks forearm, breaking his hold on Kim's arm.
"You probably shouldn't have done that." Jack said.
Jack pushed Kim to the ground behind him, as he sent a spinning back kick into Nicks gut followed by a wicked punch to his jaw. Nick fell to the ground in agony. Jack was prepared for Hudson to attack, but he wasn't prepared for how he attacked.
Jack let out a gasp of pain and fell to the ground twitching as the taser shock took its effect. Nick chuckled and stood up.
"Nice work." Nick congratulated Hudson followed by a nasty kick to Jacks ribs.
"Please, stop." Kim cried.
Hudson picked up Jack and flung him over his shoulder, after which Nick did the same to Kim.
"Jacks mom just confirmed it. Jack is missing." Jerry said, walking into the dojo followed by Milton and Rudy.
"Why would he do that?" Rudy asked.
"Because he loves Kim." Milton answered quietly.
"We need to find them. Now." Rudy said. "The police obviously aren't doing enough with this case, we need to make up for their lack of work."
The two boys nodded their agreement and got to work. They started to see if they could track Jacks car with the help of Joan, and they began writing down all the information they knew about Kim's abductors.
An hour or two later, the warriors had come up with little leads. They did know one thing. Jack went into the woods, meaning Kim must have been kept in a cabin of some sort. They just weren't search exactly where in the woods he went.
"Joan, do you think we could take a police squad car to follow Jack?" Rudy asked.
"I could see." Joan said. "Come on, let's go see."
Kim and Jack awoke to an icy chill from the wind. Kim was terrified as she realized her surroundings were identical to the one in her dream. Her breathing quickened as well as her heart rate, and the memories of the vivid dream returned in vivid detail.
"No, no, no." Kim cried, wriggling in her binds, eager to get free.
"Kim. Kim! Calm down." Jack yelled.
Kim slowed her breathing with long deep breaths. She used stress techniques to calm her wild nerves and looked over at Jack with fear.
"We'll be fine." Jack said.
He had never seen his girlfriend so distraught it was upsetting him. These bastards really had done a number on her, if Kim couldn't recover from this, he vowed to himself that he would personally kill these wretched men for every second of harm they had or will cause Kim. Nobody hurts his girlfriend.
Nobody.
"No, Jack. You don't understand." Kim said through gritted teeth.
"What did they do to you?" Jack asked with his own overwhelming fear.
Nick and Hudson entered the camp when they heard the ruckus of Kim and Jack. Jack glared at the men from his tied position on the tree.
"Leo. It's about time you came to your girlfriends rescue."
Jack scoffed and turned his head from the men before him. He was so disgusted with them, he couldn't even look at their faces.
"Get away from me." Jack growled.
Nick grabbed his cheeks and forced Jack to look at him. Nick examined his face with a weary eye.
"You don't call the shots here." Nick retorted.
Jack gathered the spit in his mouth and husked a big spit was at his face. Nick slowly wiped the saliva off his face, anger struck his face. Nick sent a flying punch at Jacks jaw. It crashed with a crack and sent Jack into a world of pain.
"You should learn when to keep your mouth shut." Nick growled and walked away.
Nick met Hudson at Kim's feet. Kim was laying on a soft part of the ground, her ankles and wrists bound. Her eyes were fear stricken asShe remembered the events of her dream. The two teenagers were caught in the same position, not to mention, Nick and Hudson were both livid with the two kids. They were unpredictable, anything could happen.
"Stop, stop!" Kim cried before the men even touched her.
"Whats the matter sweetheart?" Nick bent down and asked the poor girl with a chuckle. He was obviously very pleased with her reaction to his presence.
"Get away from me!"
"You heard her, get away." Jack said.
"You better shut up before that smart mouth gets you in trouble." Nick yelled at Jack.
Jacks mouth closed in fear of what he would do to either of them if he acted out.
"Let's have some fun." Nick said with a wild grin.
