Okay so its been years…yes…years..since I updated. I had completely forgotten about this story till recently when someone favourite-ed it and reminded me that there is something that I need to finish.
So here it goes, without any rambling.
"Alone in the world, but not"
Wyatt and Chris appeared in a big open space that had trees all around. The demons did not know exactly where they were at the moment but they would be sensed soon enough in the open and they will win the big war.
Piper and rest of the family came following soon enough.
"Where are we now?" asked Paige a bit nervous.
"Oh we are somewhere in the amazonian jungles- I am pretty sure" answered Leo looking around.
"Wow…travelling to this place was always a dream" said Phoebe in the awe of the surrounding area. Cole looked at his future would be wife and had all the love for her.
"Why are you doing this?" Wyatt asked the demons in a calmer manner. Chris looked at him and just thought 'really, calmness?…that is going to get on my nerves'. Wyatt heard that and smiled instead of saying anything back.
"Boys, use telepathy later. Right now we have some business to attend to".Prue said understanding the wait in the questioning.
"Right" Chris and Wyatt considered that as a fair warning from their aunt.
Just as the boys were about to question the demons, who were fighting to get rid of the hold, "I can feel them. They are not going to answer anything because they do not know anything. They are only hired guns" said Phoebe falling to her knees. So many people, rather demons, and their feelings & emotions were not easy to handle and she was being crushed, quite painfully crushed inside.
Prue understood her pressure. She had gone through something similar in her charmed days.
"Honey are you alright?" asked Cole feeling bad for her.
And suddenly a demon threw an energy ball towards Piper. They boys deflected before it could hit their mother.
"You are going to pay for that" said Wyatt completely furious.
"Nobody messes with our MOM" said Chris right after Wyatt, feeling the same emotions. Piper and Leo had proud smiles on their faces.
Wyatt and Chris both closed their eyes once again and just in a quick second, Wyatt's arms were coming together with complete force and his hands clasped together. Chris somehow followed his brother without even noticing and there was a big boom and loud thunder. Every single demon was incinerated.
"No wonder every being has informed us and asked us to be careful of the power of the first borns of the charmed ones" said Paige yet again proud of her nephews.
Leo and Piper however, were proud of course but were scared to death for their children.
"Don't worry aunt Paige, it's not just us. This is nothing. All the charmed next generation is almost as powerful as us" Wyatt informed his aunt.
"Actually now I am just scared" Phoebe said looking at Cole. Their children were going to be powerful, yes, very powerful.
"Do you feel that?" Chris asked Wyatt in a serious tone. Wyatt nodded.
Both the charmed sons looked worried, more worried than they ever normally were.
"You guys better come here" Wyatt asked his family and explained without them asking. "We are about to have company and we have shields which we can use till we can figure out how to fight what is going to come next. Aunt Paige just follow our lead" Wyatt said looking at Chris and himself. "You have the shielding power too, just haven't learned to bring it up yet."
"I am confused" Paige said being herself. "Join the club" Chris said.
"Just concentrate on using your orbs to bring a shield. Sorry for the crash course, but that'll be all for now" Wyatt said and asked everyone to join him in a circle.
Chris could easily do this. "We are stronger together" Chris said out loud understanding the situation. Wyatt nodded in agreement.
Just as the shield came up and surrounded the entire Halliwell family and the extended family, hundreds of demons came out of thin air. It looked like a scene from a war where only a few soldiers were left to guard the city and the enemies were marching towards them in thousands.
"Oh boy! This is going to be just peachy" Wyatt said sarcastically while looking around and trying to count the number of demons.
"Easy for you to say" Chris replied in an equal sarcastic tone.
"Would you boys just concentrate on doing your thing and maybe not get us killed just because your sarcasm quota was not finished for the day?" Piper rambled as she stood nervous, not for the first time, but she was more nervous for her two sons.
"No worries mom, we have dealt with more than this-kind of" replied Wyatt while deflecting hundreds of fire balls, energy balls and what not. They were all protected under the unbreakable shield from two generations of Halliwells.
"Ahaan, like when" Phoebe asked while trying to use her empathy power to throw back the ammunition.
"Amm, its just we had company, I mean all the cousins and me and Chris and all, that's all. No biggie"
"Shut up! Its getting tiring. I don't think I can hold it much longer" chris said, trying to change the subject. He never had a chance to fight against evil with his entire family. He needed to be positive and not think of anything emotional.
"Oh Chris, you cannot think of carrying it as a burden. Just think of the shield as a part of you and let the magic do its work" Wyatt explained.
"Yes actually" Leo suggested.
"Amm guys not that I want to break a family moment of crash course of shields and all, but cant we just orb back to the manor or something" Paige asked while trying her level best to keep her newly found power in her hands and not let it slip. If she did, they would all die in a second.
It felt like they were a bomb shelter under the shield and there was a nuclear war outside.
"No…that would be the last thing you want to do. This kind of magic will destroy the entire city let alone the manor" Cole said while thinking of another plan.
"Can't the damn elders do something at the moment? You know, may be help us out here? I mean we are few and they are hundreds" Chris was getting more pissed off and he was directing his anger on elders rather than becoming emotionally weak. This was a war which he could not afford to lose. He just got his family back and he just could not, under any circumstance, lose any single of them. Especially Wyatt.
"Yeah, Dad, reception not good around here or what? Where are the always peeking elders?" even Wyatt was getting tired. Shielding of so many magical beings and their offensive powers was taking a toll on him.
Leo couldn't say anything. He had already tried that. but apparently they had been abandoned.
"May be we should orb to the heavens or something? Prue suggested and everybody heard her.
They all had a moment of thought and weighed their options. May be that was not a bad idea.
Just as they were about to leave they saw so many beings appear right above their shield. They themselves had their shield. They were coming down and about to merge their shield with the already existing one that all other demons became more aggressive, their attacks grew stronger and now it seemed it was now or never.
"Finally! Where the hell have you been?" asked Wyatt as he looked above. Chris could not believe his eyes. This was all a dream, it surely was a dream and nothing else.
