As Spock sat comfortably in one of the 8 seats on the small craft, an abrasive thud rocked the ship and when he looked out the window directly after the thud he saw the planet where he was held prisoner. A feeling of relief overpowered all other emotions.

"Sir, we seem to have landed in the correct universe. Would you like for us to send the scout team now?" asked one of the crew members.

Spock realized he was being spoken to, "Yes, now would be appropriate."

Immediately after he replied 3 red shirts rose from their seat and stepped on to the platform at the back of the ship. Once the 3 had disappeared Spock pressed the big red button found on the front of his radio and said "Doctor, we have arrived in the correct solar system, the scout team is on the surface now."

"Great job Mr. Spock. Proceed as planned and you should be out of there in no time."

After a solid 3 hours the scout team returned with a layout of the complex and details on the security protecting said complex.

Now that Spock knew the layout he and his squad beamed to the planet and began their mission.

"Do you think we'll succeed?" asked a eager young lieutenant, Spock knew as 'Sylen.'

"Though the odds of our success are dramatically low I have faith that this team will complete the task at hand," said Spock.

Spock signaled for the 4 other men who were with him to turn the corner and enter the large complex. The complex, well over 1 mile high, was a shining silver, almost majestic, but Spock knew that what was within was far from majestic, evil really. Once inside Sylen used a small spherical device to disrupt the cameras in the particular section of the compound that they were in. After he did that he and the 4 others followed Spock towards the opposite end of the long corridor in which they were standing. At the end of the hall was a large door that, on the other side of, according to the scouts, would be at least 2 guards, both armed. Sylen used another device to open the door and with a woos it opened. Spock nodded his head to Sylen and tossed a small orb through the door it landed about 40 ft from the and silently exploded, blinding the 3 Stormtroopers on the other side. Once the guards were disorientated Spock took one while Sylen took the other. After both Stormtroopers fell upon the metallic floor the team continued down the corridor. Before they reached their ultimate destination the squad encountered numerous other Stormtroopers who they dealt with the same way they had the first two. Their ultimate destination being the reactor at the base of the complex that they would rig with explosives and detonate once off world.

"So this is it," said Sylen as he entered the reactor.

The reactor room was huge, at least 300 feet high 200 feet wide. It was circular and in the center stood a cylinder containing a blue orb of energy towering above Spock and the team. Though they did not know what it was they knew it was the target. Spock ordered 3 of the red shirts to place the charges at the base of the tower. While they did so Spock began walking toward a console centered in front of the Cylinder. He began analyzing the screen and what it read. The words on the screen were completely unintelligible, just markings. After observing the screen for a time he noticed the marking turning into english. Once he could read all the words on the screen he tapped the icon with the words 'Access' and the computer stated "Access denied. Invalid identification."

"We'll see about that," Sylen approached the console and magnetically attached the same device he used to open the blast doors to the console.

"Access granted," said the console.

The scene then displayed a series of options one of which read 'News.'

Spock selected that one.

An alarming number of different articles concerning the Empire appeared.

'Death Star Destroyed'

Rebels Attack Imperial Planet'

'The Death Star May Be Gone, But What About The Fleet?'

"Fleet?" said Spock

"I thought the Doctor said this was the only Imperial complex," said Sylen, " he said that if we destroyed this we would destroy them.

"It appears," said Spock, "as if not."

"Well then we should destroy their fleet, or one of their freaking planets!" exclaimed Sylen.

"No," said Spock, "we should return to the Turner and report our findings. If this Galactic Empire is as formidable as these articles say, they aren't to be reckoned with. We shouldn't destroy this base; war might erupt."

"Then let it! Their destroying the Enterprise was a call for war! We're simply returning the favor!" said Sylen.

"No. We are now returning to the ship. Deactivate the charges and return them to your packs."

The red shirts began packing up and getting ready to leave and so it was, The team returned top the shuttle and intern to the Turner.
