A.N. What's this? Two chapters relatively close to one another? Yea, inspiration smacked me. So here ya go.
Cynthia: The most baffling sleep talker.
A wolf howled in the distance, as wolves tend to do in shots establishing night time. The moon was out, and the Shepherd camp was set up. Indeed, a fair number of these people were asleep. Severa was not one of these people. And currently, she was in a frustrating conversation with Cynthia.
"Why don't you just stop calling me that?!" Cordelia's daughter's irritated tone commanded an answer.
The pegasus knight was decidedly slower, she seemed tired with her head flopped on her shoulder "It fits…Ice Queen."
A groan filled the air "Gods, you're insufferable! Why would I even want to be friends with you?"
"Because you think you're not worth anybody's time. Therefore you attach to those who show you that you are, regardless of what you outwardly say about them. But trust the hero. You are."
The silence was heavy as Severa sat, slack jawed. It was possible she hadn't quite come to grips with her own thoughts on herself, and even if she had, the upfront and profound nature of the statement was harsher than a slap in the face. Coupled with the fact that Cynthia out of all people said it, suffice to say, the call to wake up had been issued.
Slowly picking her words after a number of moments, the swordswoman hesitantly tried to reply with "I hardly think that something like that-" when a bout of giggles from her friend interrupted her. Flicking in front of her neck, she chirps,
"Your little bow here is really cute!" With that, gravity beat out Cynthia's position, and she flopped back onto her back limply. As one traveler looked at the other, whose eyes were noticeably closed, she could hardly believe the sight. Her mouth flapped like that of a fish out of water.
"Cy-cynthia…?"
There was no answer from the sleeping girl save a smile.
A.N. Yes, this was more 'comfort' than humor. It didn't start that way, I swear! I just didn't want to go with the "She says random things, haha, it's funny" route. Regardless, it's been brought to my attention that Japanese does not equal English. By this I mean, the flavor text varies. With the Tharja chapter, two people both brought up that in Japan she is "The one with the best body" or whatever. So... Tell me, if ya care, your thoughts on this. Only go English? Only Japanese? Both or something..?
