ANNABETH

After Annabeth took a hot shower, invisible servants brought her a nice dinner-in-bed. For a starter, she got some creamy tomato soup, and for the main course, she got eel and tomato risotto. Finally, for dessert, she asked a very friendly servant called Celestia to get her triple white chocolate cake, just for fun. She wolfed it down, cleaning the plate. "Miss," Celestial asked. "Would you like to watch TV?" Annabeth nodded. The sign that said welkum was actually a TV and Celestia turned it on. "... and it seems like he has no stop," the reporter said. The screen flashed to the anchorman. "Yes, Joe, it seems like this is the end for Olympus." Annabeth squinted. Luckily, Hephaestus News was in Ancient Greek, demigod-friendly. The camera went back to the reporter, Joe. "Perseus Jackson is attacking the Underworld. He already has control of the sea. For all we know, this is the end of the gods," he stated. Annabeth watched in horror. Celestia coughed. "Uh, is it just me, or is that your wonderful husband you were talking about?" "No, that's not him… I mean, it is him, but he's not like that. He won't attack a god for no reason!" "And the reason for his assault is clear: he wants Annabeth back while making sure demigods have all they deserved," Joe continued. "Many have turned tides. The Fifth Cohort at Camp Jupiter is with him, as well as the Athena, Hephaestus, and minor god cabins at Camp Half-Blood. Aphrodite herself has just switched sides. Something about 'Percabeth is the cutest ship ever'. I am now in the Underworld. You can see the damage Percy has caused. The walls are spraying sea water. The First and Second Cohorts are on defense, but the chances of stopping him are grim. As far as we know, he-" Celestia shut the TV. Annabeth stared at the screen. Percy was attacking the Land of the Dead? He battled Poseidon and won? "Celestia, please, turn the news back on," she said weakly. The television flashed back to Hephaestus News. "-for now, we have to rely on the Ares cabin as the last defense. Oh no! The wall is crumbling! It's-" The last the camera recorded was a wall of water, drenching the Fields of Asphodel. Annabeth shot up, breaking a plate. It shattered as she shook the TV. "IT'S WHAT?" she screamed. She felt a hand touch her shoulder. "Ma chere, it is not wise to do that, as you have to keep your sanity," Celestia gently said. "Your neighbors will wonder-" Someone pounded on the door. "Everything okay in there? Can Bob come in? " a familiar voice asked. Annabeth managed a weak yes. The door flew open and crashed on the wall, disintegrating. "Oops," the man, or rather Titan, at the doorway said. "Bob will fix that." With a touch, Iapetus repaired the door. He looked at Annabeth and his smile brightened. "Annabeth!" he exclaimed. "You are not dead! Wait, you are. But yay, you survived Tartarus! Chaos told me the stars said hello back!" She had to smile, and she heard Celestia laugh next to her. "Bob, is Dameon here?" she requested. "Yes. He is sleeping, (A/N BTW, if Bob is OOC and is sounding like Tyson, it's because that's how I imagine him.)" Bob answered. Celestia cleared her throat. "You two can chat, those dirty dishes are waiting for me," she managed, and Annabeth felt a whoosh of air stream pass her. "How did Annabeth die?" Bob asked curiously. She groaned. She wanted to avoid this topic. "I stopped Tartarus from waking," she said, picking her words carefully. "Percy got so mad, he completely destroyed him." "BAM! WHOOSH! BOOM!" "Yes, exactly. Anyways, my death was needed to create that rage, so I died for a worthy reason." The TV flickered. "The First Cohort just went down!" Joe screamed over the giant hurricane that enveloped Percy. The scene was gruesome: Percy slashing like a demon through the army, not even a lucky-shot hitting him. He plowed through the shields as if they were paper. As the ranks decreased, Percy moved on to Jason. "Hey, Jason, what up! Where's Annabeth?" She wanted to scream, that she was here, she was fine, but her voice caught in her throat. Jason grimaced. "You don't remember what happened?" he asked, almost gently. Percy's grin was replaced by a scowl. "You think I can't remember something that will scar my life forever?!" he screamed. "I'll reconstruct you later. For now," he sneered. "Die."
