Chapter 11: Goku vs. Jackie part 2

"WAAAH GOKU'S DEAD!" Krillin cried.

'There's no way that could have happened,' Thought Gohan.

'If Fathers dead then I wouldn't be around anymore so he has to be alive,'

Gohan got up from the rubble and brushed himself off. People were yelling things like "murderer!" and "How could you?!" at Roshi/Jackie.

"WAAAH! YOU MURDERER! BRING US BACK GOKU!" Cried Krillin.

He really thought Goku was dead. Gohan felt really sorry for him. Krillin was almost like an Uncle to Gohan so it really hurt to see him so distraught.

"Oh, don't be so melodramatic. Take a closer look," Jackie said calmly.

Behind Jackie laid an unconscious naked Goku.

As the crowd (mostly Goku's friends) rejoiced Jackie explained he aimed The Kamehameha at the moon not Goku.

Which the announcer was not too happy about.

"B-but wait a minute! What do we do about moon festivals from now on! What about moon pies and what about all those poor werewolves who want to transform! This is terrible!"

"Would you shut up and start counting!" Jackie commanded.

When the announcer got to two Goku woke up.

"Huh? Why am I naked?" Goku asked nonchalantly.

Gohan blushed and looked down and blushed. His father asked that like it was no big deal. Gohan suddenly realized he had to use the bathroom and walked into the green room.

"I spent a lot of energy on that Kamehameha," Jackie wheezed.

Goku got into a guard stance and said, "I gotta be on guard for that zap-zap thingy,"

"Uhh…time out, time out! 'Scuse me Goku could you please put on some clothes? This just isn't done!" The announcer asked nervously.

"I'll lend you my uniform!" Krillin said as he climbed onto the stage and led the other to the green room.

Meanwhile…

Gohan exited the greenrooms restroom after he was done urinating and washing his hand. He heard voices coming from his right and turned to see Goku putting on Krillins school uniform since Goku's got destroyed during his transformation.

Gohan decided to make his presence know and walked up to the duo.

"Hey Roy can you turn into monster too?" Krillin asked.

Goku knew what he meant. Gohan like Goku had a tail and Krillin was asking if because of the tail he could transform. Gohan decided playing dumb would be his best option.

"Um…I don't think so…why would you ask…?"

"Never mind…" Krillin mumbled.

After Goku got the uniform on just before he walked out he turned to Gohan.

"You know Roy I had a really weird dream. I don't remember much about it but I remember in the dream you called me daddy,"

Gohan was freaking out mentally. How could he have been so reckless! He didn't know his father would remember that in his oozaru form!

"Wow that must have been some weird dream. After all how could you be my father? I mean I'm one year younger than you!" Gohan nervously chuckled.

Goku gave a small laugh and replied, "Yeah I guess you're right. That dream probably meant nothing,"

When Goku made it back to the stage and Krillin had left Gohan let out a sigh of relief.

"That was too close…." He muttered to himself.

"I've gotta be more careful,"

Gohan then followed Krillin in pursuit.

When he got to his original spot it seemed his father had gained the upper hand in the fight. Jackie was about to land out the ring but was stopped by shoving his foot in the side of arena, stooping him from touching the ground. After climbing back onto the arena the match continued.

Jackie and Goku both jumped into the air and landed sidekicks on each other's faces. Both landed on the ground unconscious.

"It's the rarest of rare! A double knock down! B-both contestants are out cold!" The announcer said astonished.

"We shall begin to count!"

Gohan was puzzled. They were still counting but this was that kinds of competition where there had to be a winner.

'I wonder how this will play out," Gohan thought intrigued.

"Neither contestant is able to stand! It's a double knock-out! But there's no such thing as a tie in the World Martial arts tournament! According to the ancient tradition, the victory we be given to the first contestant who can stand, smile and say "I did so win!"" proclaimed the announcer.

Goku was first to try to get up and soon after Jackie followed. The crowd was split between team Jackie and team Goku. None however were as loud as Kriliin.

"Just one more push Goku! You can do it!"

Goku stood up with much difficulty. Jackie was still struggling. Goku then put a toothy grin on his face. The audience was so silent you could hear a pin drop.

"I-I did s-so...w…" Goku started however was unable to finish as he fell asleep right there on the spot.

Jackie now on his feet smiled flashed a peace sign and proclaimed "I…I D-D-DID SO WIN!"

The crowd erupted into cheers.

"VICTORY! VICTORY GOES TO JACKIE CHUN!" Yelled the announcer.

Goku woke up because of all the noise shortly after.

"Huh? I…I lost?"

Later…

Gohan, Goku and the others stood in the middle of the arena. Most of the crowd was gone except for them. They were waiting from Roshi. When Roshi did finally show up he announced he was going to take the gang to dinner his treat.

"Please, please make it soon! I've never been this hungry before!" Goku said practically drooling.

Gohan was also really hungry. Since he had no money before the tournament he had to rely on fish and fruits and there aren't any ponds with big fish or many berry trees in the city he had been camping out in.

When they got to the food joint it was total disaster. Once the two saiyin's laid eyes on their food they dug in like animals. So much so that everyone in the facility stopped to watch the two children eat.

"Geez I know Goku could eat this much but this kid too!" Oolong said in disbelief.

Gohan was too busy inhaling his food to hear Oolongs comment.

Goku and Gohan finished at more or less the same time. After he was done Gohan noticed the weird stares the whole restaurant was giving him. He blushed and smiled shyly.

"Maybe I should have skipped that last round of pasta hehe…"

Every excluding Goku anime fell down.

A/n: Sorry if this chapter was a bit short. I just wanted to wrap up the tournament arc. Now that that's out of the way the stories going to start focusing more on Gohan trying to get home and this mysterious enemy that sent him in that past. Review and see you all next time! Bye!
