11. UPDATE NOTICE (Temporary Hiatus I guess)

Hey guys, I'm sure those of you who are reading this story are wondering about the lack of updates, and I assure you, that is will not go unexplained.

Over the past couple months, after thinking about the main plot of this fanfiction and re-reading through several chapters, I've concluded that in order to make this a story that will be more enjoyable and comprehensible to read and for me to write, I'll be doing a near TOTAL overhaul of Faithful. Unfortunately, this update will also serve as a hiatus notice.

I'll list some of the reasons why I felt like this change was needed.

1) I felt like the plot could be a bit confusing at times, and that some elements were unnecessary. The story drifted a bit from what I wanted it to be, and as a result, caused me to lose a bit of inspiration to write it in its current state.

2) The quality of writing was not up to par with what I would have liked it to be, mainly because that this was written shortly after my first story OPPRESSION. Back then I wasn't as experienced nor nearly as descriptive as I am now a days, and after writing several other fanfics, and reading countless more, I'm confident I can make this story exceed the quality of what it is now.

3) I simply don't have time. Yes, for those of you who follow my other fics, you'll see that I have Fairly OddParents fanfiction titled "Silent Wish" is my main priority currently. So when you add that in addition to my never ending string of college assignments and other various duties I must fulfill, it was only practical that I put this story on hold. Like I always say, would you rather me rush out half-assed chapters or release ones with better quality?

Now there are other various reasons why this story is going to go through a temporary hiatus and massive revision, but those are the main three.

SO, I'm sure you're asking yourself; what does this mean? Well first off, this means that this version will NO LONGER be updated, and I will post the new version when it is ready. I'm going to leave this version up so you could always look back at it, and maybe even compare it to the upcoming revamped version of Faithful.

BUT HERE'S THE CATCH, the new version will also be titled Faithful, which means that I will put something like "Old version" or "Outdated" in the parenthesis of this current version of Faithful so none of you become confused.

With that out of this, here are some of the changes that will occur in the new/revamped version of this fanfic.

1) The plot will be changed around a bit to make it more understandable and less confusing, and MOST (not all) characters from this version will make their debut in the updated story.

2) Overall quality will be drastically improved, and I'm sure that goes without saying. (Things such as grammar, descriptions, etc)

3) A darker, more realistic, and more mysterious atmosphere will be apparent in the story. Originally, this is what the initial version of Faithful was suppose to be, but it was gradually lost as I continuously changed my mind how I wanted to write the story. But now that I have a clear idea (more clear than before) this element will stick throughout the entire story.

AGAIN, this version will NO LONGER be updated, and I will post a new version also titled "Faithful" when it is ready.

Sorry for inconvenience, but I'm sure most of you will enjoy the revamped version! It's already under construction, so the wait won't be too long. (Or so I'm hoping *fingerscrossed*)
