He was so stupid, thinking Hiccup would love him back, how could he think his human would love him? He was only a dragon, a male dragon; Hiccup liked girls like Astrid, who was pretty and smart and human and a girl. Toothless was just….Toothless. He should had seen it coming, he should had prepared for it, but he was too busy caught up in the moment, to busy listening to his heart and ignoring his brain. Oh he was a foolish dragon he was, his rider would never love him back.

Toothless was prepared to bang his head against a rock; unfortunately there was no rocks big enough in the clearing to bang his head on, so he settled on the closest tree, banging his forehead against the wood until he deemed he was punished enough – and not because he felt dizzy – before falling back down on his spot in front of the cave, glaring at the grassy ground as he dug his claws into the earth in frustration.

If he had just listened to his human before he did what he did he still would be at his side, Hiccup would have over looked the kiss, deeming it was something Toothless had saw other people doing and didn't understand fully what it meant but there was no way Hiccup would over looked what he did that night, not now.

Hiccup would probably not come back for a while, after the few years of being with Hiccup he learnt that his human needed space when something stressful happened – it didn't take a genius to figure out this would be a very stressful situation for both of them – and Toothless would normally be with him, making sure he felt secure and safe, but now? He'll probably just run off again.

He just needed to sit and wait, Hiccup just needed space, that was all.

He was so stupid! Why did he let Toothless do that? Maybe he was just tired? Or so caught off guard that he could stop it?

Oh who was he kidding? He knew what was happening, he knew what Toothless was doing and he didn't stop it, not towards the end anyways. Not to mention he enjoyed it, enjoy it!

Hiccup groaned, burying his face back into his hands; His was a fool.

What was he going to do? He couldn't go back to Toothless, but he had too, he couldn't just sit around on the beach all day with his heads in his heads hoping it would all go away.

Raising his head again, Hiccup turned his head with a frown, looking at the line of thin trees and plants and wondering if Toothless was awake. Hiccup was starting to feel hungry and his growing thirst wasn't helping either, maybe he could just quietly sneak back and grab some food and water from the pond. But if Toothless was awake, Hiccup would have to say something to Toothless, and he was pretty sure it would not be easy or fun.

"I knew this trip was a bad idea" Hiccup sighed loudly, turning back around as he drew his legs to his chest "But it wasn't really my idea, it was Toothless'" he paused "This is all his fault"

Sighing, Hiccup lifted his head from his hands and stared out to sea, pouting a little as he thought things over; There was no way he could go back to Toothless now, but there was no way he could just stay on the beach forever.

A frown grew on his face before Hiccup groaned loudly, threw his arms into the air, and fell back onto the sand "This is so messed up"

Sorry I was gone so long, my parents have been away for a few days and I've been stuck babysitting (in other news, if anyone wants 5 not-so-nice kids come take them) and it's kinda hard dealing with little kids who hate you D:

This chapter…er….was by far the hardest to write, I knew what would happen, but when I sat down to write my brain just kind of…stopped :/ don't worry though, I'll post the next chapter either tonight or tomorrow and then after that hopefully smut :v
