Viridian Forest - 1:12PM

Amy sat right in the middle of Viridian Forest meditating silently like a Buddhist monk. The only sound there was, was the rustling of the leaves above her. There weren't even any Pokemon there. None were running around playing tag or sleeping or talking. Amy felt like she was levitating, she didn't even feel the grass on her bottom.

The sound of leaves to her ears began to fade too, leaving her hearing nothing; the world around was gone. There was no sound and she wasn't even tempted to open her eyes, it felt almost impossible to. But she managed to.

This was such a good feeling. Amy felt herself rising, ascending, and she knew it. She felt herself being lifted off the ground; she is floating. With every heartbeat she closes her eyes and levitates.

Her hair lifted too and her beats were slow. Eventually it stopped and Amy kept her eyes shut.

But there was sound. It was like a low bass playing constantly every second. She heard other things too, like the soft wind and rustling leaves.

Amy opened her eyes and she found herself in the forest again it looked. She looked at her watch. It said 1:18. That's not right surely meditation like this takes a lot longer than six minutes.

Amy then saw Ethan approaching her; probably his footsteps where the cause of the sudden cut off.

"Hey Aims." greeted Ethan and he sat down next to Amy.

"Hey, what's up?"

"I'm…I might be…" Ethan was lost for words. He knew what he wanted to do but couldn't say it straight because it might be like as if he's confident and proud of it.

"Just say it Ethan. I know it's a sort of confession that you might not be proud of but I can help you Ethan. I've known for a long time that something has been bothering you. So be honest and tell me."

"I'll tell you, but you don't have to help me."

"Ethan, I won't leave you and let you suffer. It's not right and it's dangerous too."

"Amy, I'm leaving."

"Where?"

"It's too dangerous to tell you."

"Why? Aren't I trust worthy?"

"You're the most trustworthy person I've met but it's something that cannot be told because if it was, it'll cause all of 'us' to fall apart. And nobody wants that."

Amy stood up clenching her fists. Never has Ethan seen her so tense. "You are not leaving for Mount Silver." she said.

"This is something I have to do Amy. I'm sorry."

"You don't have to, you know."

"Amy, look into your heart."

She stopped and thought. "Ethan…"

"I won't be like Red." says Ethan with a small smile but reassuring. "I'll keep contact with you guys. Don't worry."

"What's the point then?"

"I guess I could say training then."

"Really?"

"I won't be long. This will be totally different from Red…promise."

"Alright, how should I tell the others?"

"You could figure that part out yourself can't you?"

"Hey, it's your decision to put it to them."

"I guess you could tell them…slowly though."

"When are you leaving?"

"Soon."

Amy was about to talk but she found herself kissing Ethan. "WHAT THE HELL IS HAPPENING!? IS HE KSSING ME!?"

Ethan drew away from her and grinned. "So what did you think?"

Amy opened her mouth to talk but nothing came out. After a hard attempt she only managed a squeak.

"You're so cute when you're shy."

"Don't…ever do that. You hear me?"

"Just screwing with ya."

Amy just smiled.

So there it is…

Ethan finally found a place and did what he always loved: training on Mount Silver. He keeps contact with his friends every now and then. Susan even goes as far as visiting once every month to check up on him at Edward's house that he lived in for a few years.

Her boy friend Edward calls him and he calls. Edward having lived there for three years knows the place by heart and gives Ethan tips on training and which Pokemon to pick and battle. He even told where to find the Moltres that hides deep in the mountain.

Gary on the other hand just texts. Like always he ends up saying something stupid or cocky but this made Ethan happy knowing that none of his friends have changed but would expect Gary to change soon.

Amy also visits him as well under Gary's trust. According to Susan they are just really good friends and love spending time together. Gary's a bit uncomfortable with his girlfriends hanging out with another guy because let face it, Ethan can get any girl if he wanted to. Sort of like Gary a few years ago.

Lyra on the hand texted him one night.

Hey Ethan, im really sorry 4 hurting ur feelings the day i cheated. I just hope you have room in you heart to forgive me.

He responded.

I forgive you. :) You'll be 1 of the 1st people I'll meet once I come back. Promise.

thnx, xoxo

Soz bros. I can't believe I kept you people waiting for 3 months for this chapter and it isn't even good. I'm so sorry guys but high school is a bitch sometimes.

My apologise are genuine. Life has been so busy for my and whenever I came round to writing I could only squeeze in a hundred words. Sorry again so yeah.

I will take a break from writing Pokemon stories and might start something else. Who knows what the future will hold but I won't stop Pokemon completely, promise.

Thanks for reading guys.
