I honestly cant believe how many people have read/reviewed/followed/favorited this story! I started to write this because my friend told me to! I didnt expect people to enjoy it!

A/N: Nicole is not a pretentious hipster. She actually likes these bands. Not like the people who wear the band tees to frustrate actual fans. Thankyou:)

Friday flew past, and as saturday approached,I felt butterflies settle in my stomach. I always get nervous when going out with new people.
I got dressed into a grey pair of jeans,a lilac floaty crop top and a pair of lilac docs.I straightened my hair, did my makeup and put on lipstick, which was unusual for me because i never wore lipstick;EVER.
I ran downstairs to get my phone, and my mom and dad were sat at the table. Dad took a double take.
"Who has captured the heart of my daughter?" Asked mom, raising her eyebrows.
"Haha, very funny. Im just going to the cinema. Can you drop me?"
"I will," dad volunteered, putting his cup into the sink and standing up,
"I have to go to the hardware store anyways,so ill drop you off on the way."
"Okay. Let me grab my things," I told him,and shot up the stairs.
I grabbed my school bag and put my phone and keys in it,along with my purse and my glasses, just in case.
As i shut my bedroom door,my phone beeped. It was from Ross.
"Hey.i'll be there in 20.x"
"Hey,I'm just leaving now. See you soon x" I replied, and stepped out the door, calling bye to my mom and shutting the door. Dad was in the car,a Smiths CD playing loudly.
"You know me well, father," I said, jumping into the passenger seat.

Culross is a small, quiet village, and was mainly farmland and fields. The town centre had a market stall that set up on weekends, and around the corner was where all the shops were. There was one street with 2 clothes shops,a bank,a restaurant,a coffee shop and the cinema. The other street had a grocery store,a charity shop, the hardware store,an old-fashioned music shop,a post office,a pub and a pharmacy. All of the shops were fairly small, the pavement outside covered in old grey cobblestones. The cinema only had 2 screens and the coffee shop only had 3 tables. The nearest hospital was just outside the town, inbetween Culross and Kincardine. As you left the town centre, there was two roads; the road that lead through the marketplace and down to the houses, and another long road that split off into two roads. One road lead to the forest, and the other lead to the motorway.

After 15 minuets of Morrisey's haunting crooning, and dads not-so-great howling, we arrived at the cinema. I saw Ross standing at the door, wearing a pair of black skinny jeans,a pair of black converse and a button up shirt.
"Is that him?" Dad asked, pointing at Ross.
"No,that is," I replied, pointing to an old man smoking a cigarette in the lane next to us.
"Oh,how funny."
"See ya,dad." I said jumping out of the car.
"Bye. Hey,remember; Pretty Girls Make Graves." He said as he drove off. Hes so cheesy.
"Hey," Ross said quietly as i approached him.
"Hey,how are you?"
"Im good, thank freezing, lets head inside," He said, putting his arm around me nervously and leading me inside the tiny cinema.

When we were inside the cinema,we chose a movie (a horror about vampires) ,Ross payed for us and we went to the food stall.
"What would you like?" Ross asked me,grabbing his money out of his pocket.
"I'll get the food," I told him, getting my purse out.
"No, i'll pay. A date isn't really a date if a lady pays for herself." He said, smiling. So this was a date.
"Okay. I'll have a 7-up and popcorn please," I asked, putting my purse back into my bag.
"One 7-up, one Coke and an extra large popcorn, please," Ross asked the cashier, handing him the money. We got our things, and headed into the movie theatre.
.
"So,the movie didn't scare you?" Ross asked in surprise as we walked out of the theatre.
"Nope. I love vampire movies," I told him.
"Do you believe in vampires,then?"
My face flushed bright red.
"Uhh...yeah. I always have. Do you?"
"Well..." He started, looking away nervously, "Yes,I do. When i was younger,I saw one. Me and my cousins were camping in the back garden of their house, and I went inside to get food, and when I came out someone was in the tree, watching me. I thought it was my cousin Jess at first, but as i got closer I realised it wasn't. It was a young lass, about 9 or 10,with long blonde hair and bright red eyes. Thats what scared me the most. Her eyes. I screamed, and ran back to our tent. I looked back for just one second, and she was gone. My cousins thought i was crazy! I never saw her again."
"Wow." I breathed, looking at him. I could tell by the look on his face that he wasn't making it up.
"Yeah," He said, looking at his feet. We stood there awkwardly for a minuet, until my phone beeped.
Be there in 10. Mom x
"My moms coming to pick me up soon. Do you want a lift?" I asked Ross. He shook his head gently.
"No thanks. I don't live far. I'll just walk."
"You sure?"
"Positive," He laughed.
We walked outside and he waited with me until my mom came.
"Thanks for everything. I had a great time," I told him, reaching up to hug him.
"The pleasures all mine," He said, embracing me tightly.
"Next time, though,I'm paying." I said as we broke apart.
"So theres going to be a next time?" Ross asked me happily.
"Sure. If you want to,"
"Of course,I..." He started, but was interrupted by my mom honking the horn, telling me to hurry up.
"Sorry,i have to go. Thanks again. I'll text you, okay?" I said as i walked away.
"Okay. Bye!"
"Bye!" I said, jumping into the car, and driving away. As i turned around, I saw him walk down the street and around the corner. But not the corner that goes down the road and to the houses. The corner that leads to the forest.
