Hikaru´s head was hurting her. It hurt her pretty much. And she felt cold.
What is this scent?, she thought, feeling dizzy and weak. It smells old and rusty...just like some old building. That sure wasnt the scent of her bed... Hikaru opened her eyes.
Shocked she realized, that she wasnt home, as expected. She was lying on the ground. At the ground of an old and dark building. It looked as a warehouse. And what was worse than this, was the fact that she was chained. She was chained tightly with a rope! Not only her hands, also her feet. Fear started to overcame her, making it hard for her to think rationally.
Just what the heck happened to me?
She tried to sit up, but it was very hard to get up, without using her hands. Just in the moment, she finally managed to sit up, her head started hurting her again. This time so badly, that she felt tears in her eyes. Her vision turned blurry for some moments. She took a deep breath and closed her eyes, trying to focus. Why was her head hurting her that badly?
Her heart thumped wildly and her throat turned dry, as she realized what had occured.
Doji! The cloth with the chemical scent...He drugged me! That bastard kidnapped me, after making me lose consciousness...he must be the one, who brought me here!
Hikaru looked around. No one was here. She tried to figure out, where she was. There was an old desk and there were some engines, she had no clue what they were for. But it looked as if they had been unused for many years now. Everything was dusty and looked old. Probably an abandoned warehouse...Hikaru remembered that she did have her mobile phone with her. But it had been in her bag, which she didnt have anymore.
There was no one of her friends, who knew, that she had been visiting Ryuga in the hospital. The only person, who knew, was Mr. Hagane and he was in the States! Nobody would miss her in the following days...maybe not even Ryuga... Hikaru felt an enormous sadness coming over her. Her heart was beating irregularly fast.
Hmm...there must be something, she thought, trying not to panic. I have to find a way to escape from here! Come on Hikaru! Just think!
She tried to loosen the rope around her wrists, but it didnt move at all. She tried it over and over again. Her wrists hurt because of her efforts. But the tight rope didnt move an inch. If only, I could get my hands free! She had to find a way! She just had to! Maybe there is something sharp here? She had seen this on movies before. That a person, who was chained, cut the rope with a piece of a broken glass or bottle... but of course, she didnt have such a luck. There wasnt anything sharp around her. Maybe she would find something on the desk? But she had no clue how to get there. She already did have a lot of problems with getting up from her laying postion...after all her feet were chained as well...
Still I have to try! Suddenly she heard someone entering the warehouse. It was the sound of several people coming into her direction. Feeling nervous she turned around, trying to see more. It was Doji! And he was being followed by some unknown men, probably his henchmen. Each of them was dressed in the same black clothes. As if they all belonged to some sort of sect. They looked dangerous. But the most dangerous one was Doji! He didnt look the way Hikaru remembered him. There was nothing left from his noble appearance. He looked terrible. His clothes were dirty and disrupted. He was wearing a black cloak, that was dirty too. His face was full of scars, he didnt have before. He lost a lot of weight and his cranial bones had become apparent. His hole appearance resembled more a death person, than a live one. He looked like someone who rose from death.
Oh, finally you are awake! He greeted Hikaru with a demonic grin. He looked insane.
Hikaru couldnt deny the fact, that she was scared. Terribly scared. His hole appearance frightened her and the fact that she was alone among a bunch of men, that looked dangerous didnt make the situation better. Still she tried not to look scared. Showing them her fear, would only make everything worse. Doji stood right in front of her.
I was already afraid, that Jack might have increased the dose of your drug too much.
The men, who came with Doji, were now standing in a in a semi circle behind him. Some started snickering. Hikaru swallowed hard. No wonder, that my head hurts that much.
What do you want from me? She asked. Much to her relief she sounded calm and steady. Her voice didnt show any of her fears. She really didnt understand why of all people, he decided to kidnapp her. And besides...how did he know, where she had been?
Oh, actually...there is nothing I want from you. He answered her bluntly.
You are only a hostage. As soon as you have no longer use for me, Im going to get ride of you...
W-what?
I only brought you here, in order to reach my big goal. A goal, that is going to make me reign over the world! I will possess the strongest beyblade of the world! He started laughing.
Hikaru frowned. He is insane!
And how do you want to achieve this goal? She asked, trying to sound curious. As if she believed his crazy ideas.
He grinned at her. Ryuga! Ryuga is going to work for me!
W-what? Hikaru whispered, shocked now. Her face got pale. How did he know about him? That he is still alive?
Surprised? He asked grinning wide.
Well, Miss Hasama, you and your great boss arent that clever as you thought, he?
At your place, I would be more aware of my mobile phone...or ipad.
Wh-what? What are you talking about?
Do you remember that unknown caller? A few weeks ago, when you were at the hospital...That was me! Or rather it was Merci! I told him to hack your phone. Hikaru felt her eyes widen in shock. No way!, she thought trembling. All this time, she had been under watch? She still remembered the day that happened. She didnt hear someone speak and thought it was since she had a bad net connection. She had been sure, that it was someone who dealt the wrong number...how would she guess someting like that?
But the most funny thing is, that Mr. Hagane knew about the danger he put you in. He found out, about Merci hacking the WBBA network, in order to get your mobile phone number. I guess, that is why he tried to call you so desperately. But of course, I wouldnt let you know about this. We just turned your phone silent. Hahahaha!
I knew, that I didnt put my phone silent mode!
Hikaru felt sick. How only could she had been so dense? She couldnt believe this. Everything went how Doji planned it! Only because of her stupid behaviour! Why didnt she call Ryo immediately?
But...I still dont understand...why would Ryuga work for you? And what did you mean with the strongest beyblade of the world? Nemesis is destroyed, so...
Hahahaha! You stupid woman! There is still the forbidden power of Ryuga´s L-drago! If he absorbs the power of every legendary bey, it going to make L-drago the strongest bey ever! Only the power of one legendary bey is already immense! Imagine all of them combined in one bey! With this power, I will be able to reign over the world! Nobody can defeat such a beybalde! Hahahahahahahaha!
Hikaru felt her head ache. This plan wasnt going to work... After all she knew, L-drago didnt exist any longer. She heard that the bey had vanished, when it transferred its legendary power to Kenta´s bey. But she didnt dare to say that out loud. What if she was wrong? What if L-drago didnt vanish, as they thought? What if its owner still possessed the forbidden bey? She couldnt imagine that, but she seriously didnt know what to think anymore...
Ryuga is going to work for me, when I tell him, that I have you! With you as my hostage, he will do everything I want.
W-what...because of me?
Yes, after all you are precious to him.
W-what? Hikaru felt her heart nearly stop beating.
I think you must have misunderstood something, she said with a trembling voice. It not like that between us... I doubt that he would care... there is nothing going on between us.
Doji only laughed as response.
Seems, as if you dont know him well. He is weak. He only pretends to be strong and tough. He is going to do everything for your sake.
Hikaru shook her head. She couldnt believe this. Ryuga didnt even remember Doji or the Dark Nebula. Why should he care? Even if he said, that he loves her...he sure wouldnt fight for a girl, he hardly knew, which hurt his feelings and turned him down. He probably hated her now...
Believe me, he wont come...
Doji looked angry now.
Stop sassing me! He cried and put his cold hands around Hikaru´s throat.
I know, what Im doing! He will do everything I say! His hands closed around her throat, making it hard to breathe. He was going to strangle her!
L-le-t g-gooh...nghh...Hikaru couldnt do anything against him. She was chained! She felt his cruel and icy hands around her throat, making her unable to breathe...he increased the pressure.
Nnnnghhh... Tears started building up in her eyes. She couldnt move. Her head was hurting her badly, screaming for oxygen! Everything turned flurry in front of her eyes. Her heart was beating like crazy, as if it wanted to beat all of a lifetime in just some seconds. Hikaru felt her mind going blank. Im going to die...

Ryuga stared at the ceiling of his room. He felt so down and sorrowful . Hikaru didnt come today. Well...that didnt surprise him that much. Not after what happened yesterday. He wished, that he had kept his stupid secret for himself. Why didnt he simply keep his mouth shut ?
He sighed. He could have told her anything else about him. Why did he have to tell her that? Since Hikaru left yesterday, he had been in a very bad mood. He even had a fit of rage. He destroyed a chair and a vase, that had been standing on his bed table. Nancy had been very upset about that, but he didnt care. She told him, that they were going to put him to the mental institution, if he continued acting like that. He threw a pillow after her.
Hikaru´s absense worried Ryuga. He hoped, that she was only going to stay away, for a few days. Just like she did, after this cheek-kiss incident. But what if she didnt?
What if she decided not to see him again? What if she never came back to visit him? He seriously didnt know what do then. He felt lonely without her. He never thought, that he could feel this way. For him being alone, had always been something normal. He had been used to it...but now he couldnt bare to stay without her. The mere thought of it made him desperate. Since when did he turn into such a weakling? Sighing he closed his eyes. He liked her. He really did. But she didnt believe him...
Stop it! There is no way, you can have these feelings!
He remembered her words. Those words really hurt. More than she could imagine... Since he heard the exact same words before. It had been many years ago, when he still had been living with his parents. It had been on mothers day. Ryuga thought that he had to give his mother a present, just like other children did. But his mother refused to take his present. It had been a picture, he drew. It had been drawn really bad, but in his eyes, it of course had been some great work of art. He cried, because his mother didnt want to accept it. He told her, that he loved her. But his mother only shook her head, telling him, that he didnt love her. Because he wasnt able to have such feelings, being a monster...
Ryuga didnt even know why he remembered such things. Maybe it was because, since that day made him realize that his parents really didnt love him. He wished, that he would have lost his memories about his childhood and not about the past three years...
Ryuga got up from his bed. His head was hurting him. It had been hurting him, since this morning. And it wasnt getting any better, even though he took some pain killers. He hadnt been able to sleep well last night. Ryuga ran his fingers through his hair. His headache wasnt really helpful for his mood.
Suddenly the telephone beside his bed started ringing. Ryuga frowned. That was quite strange. No one called him on the hospital phone before. But there was no doubt, that the call was meant for him. After all the caller had to name the person he wanted to speak to, at the reception. But who would call him?
W-wait...what if it is Hikaru? Ryuga felt nervous, but on the same time, excited. He answered the call.
Hello?
Ah, Master Ryuga! Its good to hear you again...
Who the heck is this guy? Ryuga didnt know him, but his voice sounded familiar. And why did he call him Master?
Who is there? He asked pissed. The guy, who called him, chuckled.
Oh, I didnt think you would forget about me that soon! Its me! Doji!
That guy from Dark Nebula? Ryuga was confused. Why did he call him?
What do you want from me? He asked him bored.
Hehehe...I want you to work for me...there is a special task, I have for you!
What the heck? Ryuga didnt like the idea at all. Why would I do that?
Well, maybe because there is something I have, what might concern you. Im talking about a certain someone. Its a blue-haired girl...
W-what? There is no way, he is talking about...? Ryuga felt, as if someone slapped him right into his face. That couldnt be true...He gasped for air.
Hikaru, he whispered shocked. He felt sick.
Doji laughed.
Ryugas head started hurting him even more. His hand, which was holding the phone started trembling, because of rage. If he did anything to her, I will kill him!, he thought boiling with rage now.
What did you do with her? He screamed angrily.
Oh relax... she is alright. He answered him.
Suddenly Ryuga heard someone scream in the background. Ryuga froze, when he heard the voice. It was with no doubt Hikaru and she sounded as if she was in pain.
HIKARU! WHAT DID YOU DO TO HER, YOU BASTARTD? He was holding the phone so tight now, that it nearly broke. It was already making cracking sounds.
Listen to my words! If you wont follow my instructions, it will only be bad for her...,he chuckled.
WHAT?! Ryuga couldnt believe what happened right now. His heart was running a high speed chase and his head hurted so bad now, that he thought it might explode any moment. He took a deep breath. He had to calm down or else he would break the phone with his bare hand.
What do you want from me?
Well, first of all, I want you to know, that there is no point in you trying to find out where I am. If you contact the police, WBBA or anyone else, I will know about that! And it will be very bad for her! Do you understand?
Yes! Ryuga hissed.
Good, I want you to come to the Shimotsui bridge, tomorrow at 11.00 p.m! And make sure to bring your bey with you!

But Doji had already hung up.
Shit! Ryuga put the phone back to its place. He knew that Hikaru was in real danger. The Dark Nebula was a dangerous organization, full of cruel and sick people, you shouldnt mess with.
Why? Why did that happen?
It had to something with him, or why else would this guy have called him? That is all my fault!
Somehow he couldnt forget the way this guy laughed. It sounded, as if he heard it before. But he couldnt remember when. And Hikarus scream! It kept ringing in his head. He got the feeling, he heard it before.
Suddenly he felt dizzy. His head, that had been hurting him the whole time, felt as if it was going to explode. The pain killers, he had early this morning, werent helping at all. Damn, I dont have time for this...I have to focus...
Out of blue he remembered! He remembered, where he heard Hikaru scream like that, and that he had been the cause of her pain ! He couldnt take the pain anymore. He screamed in agony and collapsed.

Just right in the moment, Hikaru thought she was going to die, because the lack of oxygen Doji let go of her. She gasped for air, her throat hurted her badly. It burned like hell. She started coughing.
All strength of her body left her and she collapsed on the ground, still coughing. She fought against losing consciousness. She couldnt believe what happened right now. He nearly strangled her.
She heard Doji walk away from her. It sounded as if he was talking to someone, but Hikaru was to weak to focus on what he was talking about. All she was aware of, was the fact, that he talked with someone on his phone. Suddenly, without any warning, someone of his henchmen kicked her violently right into her stomach. Hikaru couldnt help it, but scream. Her hole body winced in pain and her eyes turned watery with the sheer pain. She couldnt take this any longer...Her breathing came out in sharp, shallow raps.
Please, someone help me..., she thought terrified, as everything turned black in front of her eyes.
