Hello yall! I would like to take a second to thank some people. I would like to thank Sailor Shinzo and crashrox92 for their multiple reviews to my story. I also want to think the newer ones I have been getting. Yall rock! Anyway, heres the story!
Yesterday was quite the adventure. Turns out the Wheeljack that we first meet turned out to be a fake. It was'nt until later that we meet the real one, and he totally kicked tailpipe on the fake. I'm hoping he would'nt take too long to come back and visit. He is quite the character. He reminds me of another Bulkhead, but when you've been friends for as long as they have it's hard not to act a lot alike.
I am currently in the main room helping Ratchet with a few things. I figured this would be a good way to thank him for healing me up from those scraplets. Stupid things. Arcee, Bumblebee, and Optimus were off doing patrol in different areas so the only autobots on base were Ratchet and myself. Raf was doing something with his family at the moment so he could'nt come to base, but Jack came right after school.
Miko was currently in detention for primus knows what. Bulkhead left not long ago to go and pick her up. I don't know why but I catch myself thinking about Bulkhead from time to time. I have no idea what brought this on. He's not the only one, I also catch myself thinking about Wheeljack. That one was almost understandable, because he was the new bot and I'm just curious is all. However, I dont know what brought on the whole thinking of Bulkhead thing. I'm sure its nothing. I'm just thinking about my friends is all, and theres nothing else to it...right?
Ratchet and I are brought out of our concentration to the sound of a car engine. I look towards the enterance to see Bulkhead pulling in. I see Miko climb out and as Bulkhead transforms she looks up at him and says," Urg your starting to sound like my parents." He looks down at her and asks," Uhh are'nt they japanese?" " You may speak a different language, but you say the same things." She replies walking away. " Because we want the best for you, and then means making sure you go to school not jail." He tells her. " Uh-oh. What'd ya do?" Jack asks.
I look at her and say," Miko whats going on?" She looks to me and says," Nothing. Im just a victim of circumstance." Bulkhead kneels down and says," Look Miko before I became a warrior I was a laborer, construction. I could build stuff I could break stuff, and thats it." She just smiles and says," I love breaking stuff. I wanna be just like you Bulk." He just sighs and says," Why would you wanna be like me when you can be a medic like Ratchet." She rolled her eyes at that. " I think your missing the point Miko." I say. " Dont worry sis. I wanna be like you too!" She says smiling. I just roll my optics.
" I'm detecting a fresh energon pulse from the nation called Greece. An ancient city quite historic I believe." Ratchet says while looking at the screen. Bulkhead looks to Miko and says," Ancient Greece huh? Oh field trip." " Lets do it to it." She says," Can Storm come with us too?" " Absolutely, if she wants to." Bulkhead answers looking at me. " I dont know I am doing a few things here." I say. Miko's eyes immediately get bigger as she starts begging," Please come with us. You'll be making your little sister very happy."
" Oh can those eyes get any bigger." I say jokingly," Alright lets get going." " Yes!" she cheers. Ratchet opens the groundbridge and we walk through to the other side. When we get through to Greece Bulkhead says," We're here." He lets Miko out and then transforms. " Sweet...so what are we doing in Greecoville?" she asks. " Me and Storm are scouting for energon...your doing research for your history report.'' Bulkhead answers. Miko looks up at him and says," You punked me Bulk? Not cool." He walks closer to a small ledge and while looking at his tracking device says," Umm the signals strong."
He looks towards a work area and says," An excavation site." Miko looks up at him with a woah and he continues," I know construction." " Im gonna go take a closer look." I say to him while taking out my own tracker. " Alright. Be careful." he answers. I jump down and walk closer towards the wall and take a look around it. Im so engrossed in what I'm doing that I don't notice the conversation going on behind me between Bulkhead and a stranger.
At the sound of Miko asking," You know this lughead?" I turn around to see what she was talking about. I see a blue mech with an orange face and what look to be yellow optics. I also notice the decepticon signature on him so I start sneaking back towards them just incase Bulkhead needed help. It was a good thing I was a spy when I first became a warrior because I get close to the ledge without him seeing me. I walk around to the side and climb back up the ledge and hide behind a wall. I'm not sure if Bulkhead will need backup or not but I'll be ready either way.
I then hear Bulkhead say," We have a history." The mysterious mech answers with," And you have a pet...does it play catch?" He then picks up one of the column and holds it over his head and says," Catch." He then proceeds to throw it towards Miko. I yell," Miko!" and then catch her before the column can hit her. I look down at her and say," Are you alright?" " Yeah I'm fine." she replies. " Well well well who do we have here?" The mech asks. I turn to him with a glare and see him looking at me with a smirk. His stare starts to unnerve me and I say," What are you looking at lousy con."
Ignoring my last comment, he looks to Bulkhead with a wider smirk and says," Dont tell me you have a femme too. Did'nt know you had it in ya to pick up a fine piece of bot like this." Bulkhead scowls, but before he can say anything I interrupt by saying," I'm no ones femme filthy con." " Well then thats good news for me.'' he replies. Bulkhead snaps and yells," Back off!" He then fires a shot at the bot causing him to stumble. Bulkhead then turns to me and says," Get Miko out of here." I nod and grab Miko and start to move her away from the area.
I hear a crash and look towards the wall to see Bulkhead laying against it where he was obviously thrown by the con. " Bulkhead!" I yell running to him. I set Miko down and help him get up. " Opps. Hope the pretty picture was'nt too important." the con says sarcastically. He then looks at me and says," See ya around." He gives me a wink and then transforms into a bulky vehicle and drives off. I help bulkhead up the rest of the way and he says," Told ya I was good at breaking things."
Miko walks up to him and says," I always have your back Bulk. Got us a picture of the picture." She then takes out her phone and shows us a picture of the wall...you know before it was smashed. " Good job Miko." I say. " Oh so now you like my constant picture taking." she says jokingly. I roll my eyes and smile. Bulkhead looks at me and says," Storm are you alright?" I look at him with a confused look and say," Yeah...why would'nt I be?"
" Well I know you probably were'nt comfortable with him talking to you like that." Bullkhead says. " It's alright. He's gone now...what was his name anyway?" I ask. " His name is Breakdown...and we dont get along too well." He answers. I let out a little laugh and say," Yeah I kind of figured that much." I then contact base requesting a groundbridge. It arrives not long after and we all make our way inside.
Once inside the base Miko shows Ratchet the picture. He puts it on the screen so that Optimus can see it as well. Optimus studies it for a minute and says," It is indeed an energon harvestor. A powerful tool created by the ancients to remove raw energon from any source." " Greek gods knew autobots?" Raf asks. " No the ancients ofter used the art of a given era to conceal messages. This fresco was likely a sign post indicating a harvestor's location hidden somewhere on the planet." Optimus answers.
Jack then asks," Uh Optimus if the harvestor removes energon from anything and you all have energon pumping inside you..." He does'nt even have to finsih for Optimus quickly answers," In decepticon hands the harvestor could be a devastating weapon." Miko turns to Bulkhead and says," See you were a genius to total that painting." Arcee then says," Mikos not wrong. How can the cons find the harvestor without the fresco." "
" With high speed internet," Raf answers," if you do a image search for Greek god and golden orb this pops up. It's in a musuem." He explains this while holding up his laptop that shows us a picture of a statue holding the same gold orb from the painting. " Is that the real deal?" Arcee asks. " Contact Agent Fowler." Optimus answers. Ratchet tries to contact Fowler, but only succeds in getting his voicemail.
His voicemail says," You've reached Special Agent William Fowler. I'm currently on an intensive training retreat and unavailiable till Tuesday." Ratchet turns to us and says," I hate talking to machines.'' ( I think he hates talking to everybody lol)" Without Agent Fowlers direct aid we will have to confiscate the harvestor on our own." Optimus says to us. Jack then says," Woah woah woah confiscate? As in steal musuem property?"
"That sounds illegal." Raf states. Optimus looks to him and says," I do not wish to break human law but once the decepticons learn of the harvestor's location they will not hesitate to obtain it by any means necessary. We must act covertley." Jack rubs his neck and says," No offense Optimus but covertely and gaint robots dont really go together. Musuems are public and they have guards and security cameras."
Miko jumps in saying," No problem. We are small enough to sneak in and we're not a government secret." " Miko I'm not sure thats wise." Bulkhead states. " I'm with Bulkhead on this one." I reply. " But it may be our best option. The longer we debate, the more time we give the decepticons." Optimus immediatly comes up with a plan on how to approach the situation. After one is made Optimus, Arcee, Bumblebee, Bulkhead, and myself are groundbridged to the musuem. Its the middle of the night so we dont have to worry about humans, except for the security guard.
Optimus stays at the of the builiding while Arcee and Bumblebee go the West side, Bulkhead to the south end, and I go to the east side. " Autobots confirm your positions.'' Optimus says. " Westward hoe." Bumblebee beeps. " Southside covered." Bulkhead says." " Got the east side." I reply. " Maintain your guard. Jack, Miko, Rafeal I will have a clear view of you. Once you secure the harvester I will contact Ratchet to bridge you back to base." Optimus says to us and then to the kids.
Its quite until I hear a someone wolf whistle and say," Sweet rims. 24 gauge? Your real heavy duty, just like my friend here." I then hear the sound of an approaching vehicle and the sound of a missle firing. I slowly drive towards the corner to see what was going without giving myself away. Its Breakdown! I then see Optimus get zapped by an energon prod held by a red con. He zaps Optimus in the neck causing him to fall to the ground. The con then proceeds to jump on top of him and zap him again. He turns the prod off and then flashes his headlights.
Unable to control my anger I drive towards the con, transform, and then kick him off of Optimus. I kneel down next to Optimus and say,'' Optimus are you alright? Optimus?" I really should learn to pay more attention to whats going around me. I feel the electrical shock of the prod hit my back. I fall to the ground and then try to sit up but only succeed in getting on my hands and knees.
The red con says," Nice paint job. You must be the one Breakdown told me about." I feel him put the end of the energon prod under my chin and lifting it up so I'd look at him. " And I can definetly see why." " Worthless piece of scrap." I snarl at him while still trying to get over the effects of the prod. " Ah ah. None of that. I would'nt want to have to hurt you." He says smoothly. I glare and say," Too bad you already did." He smirks and says," Oh dont worry I can fix you right up later...I am a doctor after all."
I hear someone driving over and look to see Breakdown coming this way. Thankfully Bumblebee comes not long after. Unfortunately, Breakdown shoots at him causing Bee to transform and roll across the ground. Arcee comes at him from the side, but he just shoots at her too causing her to slam into Bumblebee. The con turns to me and says," Your friends are'nt very graceful are they." Before I can answer, I see Bulkhead jump from the roof and run towards Breakdown.
Breakdown transforms and punches Bulkhead causing him to come flying towards us. I duck down to the ground to avoid getting hit. I was narrowly missed, but the con was'nt so lucky. He gets hit by the flying Bulkhead making them both crash into the musuem. Unfortunately, that makes the alarms go off. By some miracle the effects of the prod wear off so I quickly stand up and run to Optimus. " Optimus are you alright?" " Im...alright." he says trying to get up.
In the corner of my eye I see the red con running towards us with his prod activated. " Optimus look out!" I yell to him. Optimus turns his body and hits him with his arm making him fly off to the side. We both stand up in time to see Soundwave fly off with the harvestor. " That would be game," the red con says. He then smirks at me and says," It was lovely to have meet you my dear femme. I do hope to run into you in the near future." He then transforms and drives off. Bulkhead tries shooting at Breakdown, but he just transforms and follows the red con.
We start to go after them, but hear Jack yell," The cons have the harvester." " And security has Miko," Raf adds. " What?" Bulkhead says," I'm going after her." Optimus puts his hand on Bulkheads shoulder and says,'' Bulkhead Miko may be detained, but she is safe from harm." As true as that statement was, I still did'nt want to leave her here but it can't be helped. Optimus requests a groundbridge, and we quickly make our way back to base.
Once we make it back Optimus sends Arcee and Bumblebee out to search for abnormal activity while he tells the rest of us," In all likelyhood Starscream will use the harvestor to gather as much energon as quickly as he can from the planets otherwise unminable energon deposits. Approach with extreme caution. Starscream will not hesitate to turn the harvestor on anyone of us. Bulkhead it is best that you remain here."
" So that I can bust Miko out of the musuem?" Bulkhead asks. " So you can help Ratchet. You may be Miko's guardian, but she requires human assistance, so Agent Fowler remains her best option." He then turns to me and says," Perhaps you should stay with Bulkhead as well." " What why?" I ask. " You are closer to Miko than the others which will cause you not to think clearly, so I dont want to risk you running off to aid her. I have a feeling if left alone, you would do so...I mean no disrespect towards you but this way you can both help Ratchet and I can be sure that you both are'nt in any trouble."
I just sigh and say," Yes. I understand." With that he transforms and drives into the groundbridge. We hear Ratchet trying to reach Agent Fowler, but only succeding in getting his voicemail again. Me and Bulkhead walk up to Raf and he says," Still no answer." Fowlers lounging around some pool side cabana." Bulkhead says while throwing his fist down and crushing something of Ratchets in the process. " Bulkhead I needed that!" Ratchet yells.
" We could free Miko if we could just return the sphere to the musuem." Bulkhead says, not really thinking it through. " So the decepticons can steal it all over again?" Ratchet points out. Bulkhead thinks on that for a few seconds then grabs his head and says," I am so dumb!" " No your not, your just trying to help Miko." I say to him. " So how are we going to help Miko?" Jack asks. " By returning this replica to the musuem. The construction of which would be going faster if Bulkhead had'nt just mangled my frame-welder." Ratchet answers.
" We're already tresspassers and theives, why not add forgery to the list." Jack says. Bulkhead sighs and says,'' I wish I had never taken Miko to the...the painting of the harvestor was'nt the thing we found in those ruins." " Im sorry?" Ratchet questions. Bulkhead continues with,'' Starscreams not dumb no matter what kind of tool he has. He's gonna take the easy route."
After convincing Ratchet we take a groundbridge to Greece. Bulkhead suggested he go alone but after a glare from me he quickly changes his mind. So here we are in Greece hiding behind a huge rock watching Starscream use the harvestor. " How can he just use that on a teammate." I whisper. " Well they are'nt called decepticons for nothing." he replies.
We then jump off the ledge and softly land on the ground below. We slowly walk towards the cons and we start off really well until...Bulkhead steps on a pot breaking it. At the sound Breakdown and the red con turn towards us. " Oh scrap." Bulkhead says holding his head. " Back for seconds?" Breakdown asks. They then run towards us.
They slit directions, Breakdown running closer to Bulkhead and the red con runs closer to me while spining his active energon prod. When the red con gets close enough I jump in the air and kick his arm causing him to lose grip of the prod. I then use my other leg to kick him away a few feet. " Bulkhead...catch!" I yell catching his attention while throwing the prod to him. He catches it and jabs it into Breakdown causing him to fall to the ground.
We didnt see what Starscream was doing until it was too late. He uses the harvestor on Bulkhead making it suck the energon out of Bulkhead. " Bulk!" I yell. I start to make my way over to him only to have someone grab my arms pinning them behind my back. I can tell its the red con just by the sound of his voice.
" I did say I was hoping to run into you in the near future." he says. " Let me go!" I yell trying to get free. I only succeed in getting a jab to the side. " None of that my dear we have'nt even been introduced yet...I am Knockout and you are?" " Your worst nightmare." I reply. I then take my foot and stomp his foot. He lets go of my arms and I take the opportunity to do a roundhouse kick on his head causing him to go flying.
I look to Bulkhead just in time for him to walk towards Starscream even while he was getting the energon sucked out of him. After realizing Bulkhead was'nt going to stop Starscream, in a slightly scared voice, says," Wait...what are you doing?" " What I do best." Bulkhead replies. He then grabs the harvester in Starscreams hand and continues," Breaking things." He then punches Starscream in the face causing him to let go of the harvester.
Once grabed it no longer sucks the energon out of Bulkhead. He then throws it into the air, and after a few seconds it explodes along with the energon inside it. Bulkhead then collapses on the ground. I run towards him and yell," Bulkhead!" I reach him and kneel down and say," Bulkhead! Wake up...Bulkhead." Behind me I hear the sound of an energon prod. I turn to see Breakdown and the red mech I now know as Knockout standing behind me.
" You two are a glutten for punishment." Knockout says. I activate my blades and jump in front of him saying," Back off." " Ohh a femme with a bite." Breakdown says to Knockout with a smirk who just gives a smirk of his own. They look behind them when they hear the sound of a groundbridge. Optimus, Arcee, and Bumblebee come out and start firing at the cons. Breakdown turns to Knockout and asks," Fight?" " Umm drive." Knockout answers.
Withought so much as another glance the two of them transform and drive off. Once they were out of site I turn to Bulkhead and say," Bulk can you hear me?" Once he sees the other approach he weakly says," Hey." I turn to Optimus and say," Is he going to be alright?" " We will have Ratchet look at him to be sure." he replies," Ratchet we need a groundbridge." We carry Bulkhead into base and then over to the medbay to have Ratchet look at him.
After a few minutes Ratchet has put the energon back into Bulkhead that he lost and was fine shortly after. He walked back into the main room with no trouble. Ratchet had managed to get ahold of Agent Fowler who was at the musuem getting Miko out of lockdown. Bulkhead left not long after to go pick her up. I should have went with him. Optimus walked up to me and says," Solarstorm. You and Bulkhead disobeyed a direct order to remain at base and that is not acceptable behavior." Everytime I talk to him I feel like a kid whos parent gets on to them.
" However, the two of you were able to destroy the device before the decepticons could make a serious use out of it, and for that I am grateful to the both of you." he continues. " Bulkheads the one who destroyed it sir. I just provided the cover." I say. " Nevertheless, it was a team effort and I am proud of the both of you." I smile and say," Thank you."
I knew that once we got back to base I would get a lecture from Optimus. We did disobey orders after all. It's not something that I normally do, but it this case it was necessary. Even Optimus said it was good thinking on our part, as long as we dont make a habit of it. Well there was that rebellious streak that Bulkhead asked me about.
