Chapter 11

He was looking away from her when everything was done, still not minding the intense hatred coming from her. He really had nothing else to do but go back to the fireplace, feeling very gratified at the moment. Then starting to leisurely adjust into the couches to stare off once again into the fireplace, contemplating on his daily work for the day. He indeed did handle most of his meetings quite well and surprisingly managed to not kill anyone today. For his mind and attentions were on the meeting of Kimiko however he still left the rest of the late hours of midnight hoping that he would.

Kimiko on the other hand still wanted to kill Chase over a million times but insanely finds control in not doing so. She continued to tightly grip onto the pen, knowing that she had used this instrument to sign her imprisonment with this monster. Then turning her head around she sees Chase's head facing away from her to glow in the other direction. She cringes her insides to not puke at what she just did and still sitting in the chair near the desk. Slowly she absorbs the bazaar atmosphere between them, wanting nothing to happen, but even then it was all still too weird for her to be alive.

Chase had all the right reasons to kill her and forever get rid of the Xiaolin side of good, but he seems to find her live state more entertaining.

Of course now she no longer worried about her life anymore because whether she liked it or not she had this monster to watch over her now, which was unfortunately comforting for her to know because it meant that she was just going to handle one person.

Then sighing quietly she looks down at herself, opening the soft clean robe to reveal her still dirty, filthy, and dry blooded skin to greet her eyes. It wasn't the first time she's seen herself like this, if anything she was quite use to it. She knew her physical form would heal soon but she was more worried about her mental mind going crazy. It was an effort to not fall prey to Chase's sick mind tricks to insanity.

Then feeling her aching efforts to hold her robe up, she tries to relax a bit more by closing the remanding cloths back together. She stayed silent for a bit, only running her slender tough hands through her hair and trying to net out whatever tangles she caught. It still somehow gave her a little piece of serenity that she still cared about how she looked. She indeed did her best to appear decent whenever she could because to her it had always been a crime that she looked like this now, so dirty and unclean with dry blood. It wasn't her choice but she had to live with what she got from time to time. It was never her intentions to look like shit anyway.

As if he could read her mind Chase spoke up to her from the fireplace, "There should be a bathing area in your room, a stone near your bed should bring it forth"

Slightly turning to look back at him she huffs, "I'll keep that in mind" her voice was low and hardly audible to hear but he still hears her just fine. Easily detecting that she didn't want to talk to him or even acknowledge that he was still there. He was still looking into the fire's glow of its many orange hues being rapidly poured all over him with warmth, "I do except you too be ready in awhile anyway, we do have a prior engagement to attend to" now adjusting a leg to the other side of his, he lightly inhales a breath to quickly capture his favorite smells of his room but then noting the new foreign smells off of her.

Still glaring back at him she utters, "Why, where are we going?"

Continuing to look into the fire he speaks back to her in a mocking tone, "Are you now not attending your own comrade's funerals? Does this mean you wasted your wish? It would certainly be a shame to not attend in a cleaner state such as you are now"

And there it was, she could see it, that expression of a demented creature in front of her enjoying his bragging. As much as she loath to see the growing curves of his cheeks rising into a sick grin she quickly replies back in a venomous tone, "Yes, I still am"

He answers, "Then I suggest you go and change" waving his hand in the air; he excuses her to go and leave him to sink deeper into the couch again.

Starting to get up Kimiko urged her mind to move along with her body, which seemed to be moving a lot slower at the moment. Causing her muscles to shake in anticipation, in wanting to run away at any given moment but she digresses it. Quickly turning to her door she frowns and wonders why it looks further then it should be. However she didn't want to look at him anymore then what was necessary to see so she quickly rises from her chair to walk. Achingly painful to move as fast as she could, getting away from that monster, she did her best to not trip or fall. It was awfully low of him to act so giddy in one's misery but he was the evil Chase Young after all, so it was sadly to be expected. Almost falling near to her room she quickly grabs onto the handle of the door, just in time to catch herself from more damage. Already feeling light headed she sees black spots blinding her for a bit, she slightly pauses to catch her breath again.

But within that time she heard him say, "Don't over exert yourself Kimiko, there's no need to delay your friends peace from me, just because you hate me enough to risk another fainting episode" this time he sounded more serious. It was so odd to hear, guess being in the care of Chase Young, he had the responsibilities to her life and to warn her about her foolish ways of emotions to keep her functioning.

Just knowing that, she could no longer take it, "SHUT THE HELL UP CHASE!" Throwing herself into her room she slams the door as best as she could. Relying on her own body's weight to shut the door for her. Quickly sliding down to the floor in struggling hate she curls her fingers in desperations to hold her emotions.

She could hear that bastards laughter echoing behind her, almost feeling the vibrations of his voice behind the doors and into her bones. Quickly getting chills from it she quickly crawls away from the door to drag herself to the center of her room. Again looking around to see that her room was now very dull and scary. This small dark room not only trapped her but also told her that she was alone again.

Chase's Next Door Room

The fire was loud and crackling with excitement. Dancing in the eyes of the beast who was happy to have finish his businesses with the Dragon of Fire. Thinking it was all too easy and delightful to watch. Seeing the glows of her blue eyes fading into madness from misery and pain. Not only has he killed the three monks but seemed to have killed Kimiko's wildfire of spirits. He could feel the intensity of her emotions aiming directly at him. All her passionate hate towards him was more then a blanket of comfort for him. He preferred to be hated then liked anyway, because such ethical ideas are foolish to pursue in life. He learned that such good deeds and morals never radiate one's glory to being the best of something; it was always strange to be that kind of normal. Chase Young never wanted to be normal; he wanted to be selfish in his own glory of being the greatest warrior of all time.

Seeing Kimiko now was like seeing a fire roaring with power ready to be used as he wished. Funny though, Chase couldn't help but compare his fire to Kimiko now. Sitting and always staring back at it, as something he wanted the girl to become now, a powerful element that will soon be dependent on him to feed it. In return she would provide him with her destructive nature to clean his kingdom from the weak vermin of man.

Then finally listening to the sounds of running water in the other room, Chase figures that the Dragon of Fire has found the bathing area and is finally filling up the tub to see a bath for who knows how long. He knew he was overly pampering her but he had arranged for her to have everything with what he thought that a girl like her should need. He wasn't the type to cut off luxury from anything or anyone he associated with because he prided himself in showing off his success in being evil. It would be useless to punish those to not see his glory. Because just like his general for instants, the man had everything, rank, fearful respect, and what was needed to be provided for such a simple man, plenty of women to bed. However surprisingly when Chase gifted this man with such high privileges it was on that very same day he had ordered his newly appointed general to fight one of the resistant's with the monks and fate had to point the general to Kimiko. To which he remembers watching the fool to be as they say 'fancy her to the extreme'. Then from that day on, the suppose evil general that he picked was now becoming less of a man to him. For it was when Chase could see that the general's obsession would over take his own orders. It was all basically a test to him and to others, to highly decorate those he thought worthy of his attentions, but then again to watch those fall into there own destruction while he, the great Chase Young forever kept his honor of being superior than everyone else.

Holding in another laugh, Chase could never get why man powered sex and desire over duty. It was a laugh to have seen his general fall over a woman… However, Then again, Kimiko isn't normal as to be called a women like the others. She was born with a gift that should differentiate her from the others. It was hard for Chase to not point out her alluring appeal to see why mortal men would become victims of her spells.

Then turning to the door of his neighbor, he sniffs the air to smell the oils of the bath reaching his nose. Knowing she is using lilac for now… Very similar to the perfume that he claimed to have loved on her.

Yep, she was different.

Kimiko's Bathing Room

She was finally bathing now, a miracle that she even earned such a prize from him. Plus she was lucky enough to even have found the bathing area in her room. Chase did say that there was a stone switch by her bed, but the walls and floors were solid marble. There were no unique stones to grab or see, plus her only clue was the clearing between the bed and the wardrobe. That's when she stood in front of the wall thinking how much she didn't want Chase's help to find the bathroom for her. It took her awhile but she accidently triggers the switch by standing on a certain part of the floor to feel that she had pushed something to open the new doors to the bathroom. It was also another room that wasn't too small but functional to it's simplest form of a bathroom. When she saw a much bigger mirror again she looks at herself closely, it was very weird to finally see so much of herself now. It made her continue to awe at her appearance in disgrace, she really needed a bath.

And now she was finally in a tub, bathing and staring off into space, contemplating with her very first and very long interaction with Chase Young alone. He was very bizarre to observe, especially for a very long time. He was very apparent to show that he sure liked to play with her mind a lot and he expertly played with it. As if it was his favorite playground to begin with. Although she did despise it, she couldn't do anything about it, for all wasn't to clear for her to make a move yet.

While in the tub she tries to think about her contract more clearly and tries to pin point what he plans for her. Although she was only okay with being Chase's tail she did fear that over time he will use her other gifts to benefits his war with man and that she would have to abide to whatever he says without hesitation, just because she signed a stupid contract proving that she was under his control now. Of all the crazy ideas, she had to go and negotiate to the extreme with her freedom, but it was necessary considering Chase wouldn't accept anything else but enslavement from a fellow warrior.

"He's such an asshole" even though she was Chase's slave she could still call him names. It wasn't easy to know she had lost the war. That's what all this meant, the war between good and evil was over, darkness had won. Slowly sinking further into the steamy murky pool she briefly appreciates the sweet scents of lilac, taking away her grim mind for now. The oils she picked for her bath was an unexpected turn to bring up her moral a bit. She couldn't help but feel a little giddy in knowing she was going to smell nice for a change. It was a very rare treat that she even got to use such pretty scents to herself because the only time she saw perfume was when the general had brought her some, but sadly she had to refuse them all.

In finally remembering the general Kimiko couldn't help but let go of a smile in remembering the man bleeding so much. Hell! That bastard finally deserved it; he had to be dead by now. She was sure of it; she had never seen a bloodier mess then the general being dragged away like some dead carcass from Chase's cats. Thinking that maybe his cats really did eat the general. So she probably saw the general for the last time finally.

Then moving around in the tub Kimiko did her best to rub off all of the dry blood off of her. She was still very sore from the fights but the warm water completely engulfed her mind to block out the sharp pains and oddly enough it seems that the water was eating away her scars. So her skin was actually looking like skin. Especially her once creamy smooth tone was returning to her outer flesh, dazzling even her eyes. It was all starting to look and feel nice for a change, that's until she saw the water beginning to turn into a sickly color of light red. Then it hits her; some of the blood is foreign to her own.

Then suddenly feeling the swells of her eyes beginning to blur, it was like a knife was stabbing her all over again. Quickly looking to her door she wonders just how alone she was. It was still too soon, but her eyes begin to drip now as she whispers, "Omi, Clay, Raimundo" her dear friends are dead….. Now feeling the stabbing pain again she quickly dunks her whole body under water. Completely silencing the world away from her ears as she screams under water as loud as she could.

Back to Chase Young

He could hear her splashing here and there, thinking she must be almost done by now. However not likely though, she was still in pretty poor condition he had to admit. So the bath should be able to provide her with some strength to be moving around soon, preferably for awhile before she could return to rest.

Thinking further on the subject he quickly snaps his fingers, allowing a cat to enter his room and bow in respect to wait for his orders. Chase looking at his servant he says, "Bring me Jack" then returning his concentrated gaze back into the fire again, waiting for the man to come.

He waited for a bit until he heard a clarity of a throat sounding at the door. Then turning his amber eyes to the corner of the entrance he spots the albino red head in the mouth of his lion, then signaling his pet to let go of the weak man, "Come" He could here Jack grunt in frustration but paid no mind to it. Then soon watching the techy individual approaching him soon he quickly says, "thats far enough Spicer, I don't need the smell of you in my room any longer then this" Now rising Chase lightly straightens up to face the shorter man in front of him, "How far is the arrangements"

Clearing his throat Jack did his best to speak to the dark man, "Ahem, the chamber is all set, and the monks are almost prepped up for the ceremony" he then looks down to be excused.

As Chase stares down at the man he saw that Jack was in his usual attire, "Are you not going to attend Spicer"

A little confused to be asked Jack says, "Kimiko wouldn't want me there anyway, she's got other things to worry about"

Grinning Chase asks, "Your meaning?" daring Jack to talk about him.

Jack's eyes widen in fear and he clarifies, "Uh nothing Mr. Chase Sir, just thinking out loud"

Settled with the answer of Jacks, Chase waves his hand to excuse him, "Then you may go Spicer" It was always fun to corner his prey like that, one of Chase's favorite method of control in his kingdom. Turning around Chase stares at the door of his neighbor, yes, indeed things will get busy around here soon.
