Alternate Ending

What was going on? His smile that was as innocent as a kid's steadily lowering until it vanished altogether as he watched the object of his affections shoot up from her seat and scurry to the back by the twins. He was just going to shrug it off as her wanting to hang by Shifty until the room cleared out...but she stopped by the younger twin instead who grinned up at her, gathering his stuff and getting up. They both glanced at the elder twin before turning away to leave when he didn't meet their gaze.
The younger brother then looped his arm around the smaller girl's waist, tugging her close to him as they made their way down the aisle to get to the door. Sky blue eyes watched them intently, confusion and hurt swirling in their depths, wondering why the pretty redhead wouldn't look up at him; choosing to stare at the ground instead. Not even the boy was looking at him, his head was facing towards him but his eyes drifted off to the side like he was avoiding locking eyes with him.
Her name was on the tip of his tongue when they were almost to his desk; he literally had to bite down on the pink muscle to keep from calling out to her when they turned and headed out the door without a second glance to him, leaving him in silent distress.
Hands shaking, fingers tightening, the paper trembled in his hold as he stared down at his desk with a dejected look; students filtered out of the room hardly concerned with their teacher, more concerned with going home or to friends houses. His brows furrowed upwards, teeth gnawing on his lower lip nervously - why was she ignoring him? Did he do something wrong? Why was she with Lifty? Why did she let him hold her like that? Why wouldn't she look at him-
Riiiip
Oops, he just ripped up a student's test. Crumpling it up, he tossed it carelessly to the side as he got up to close the door after the last student left. Clicking the lock shut, he spun around and eyed the strangely silent boy who was still fiddling with his pencil; he wanted answers on why Flaky was suddenly ignoring him like this.
"Shifty," he called, voice small and shaky; he cleared his throat, he can't be getting emotional already, maybe it was just something simple like she doesn't feel well today. "Why...why did Flaky leave?"
The boy didn't answer him right away and just looking at his face was making him uneasy. The teen's expression was neutral, blank of all emotions, lips set in a straight line instead of a grin; eyes dim and emotionless instead of shining with mischief; even when he talked, his voice came out in monotone instead of the smooth, coaxing one.
"Because she's done." It was low, merely a whisper but still audible to the concerned man who only began to feel anxiety crawl up his spine at the simple answer.
"Done? What do you mean done?" Somehow he ended up in front of the fedora donned teen, his hands pressed onto the desk; trying to get the boy to look up and talk.
Shifty merely began to scribble aimlessly on his desk. "It's exactly what I said. She's done. She's not going to fuck you or me anymore...she's decided that she wants to try and stay faithful to my brother." It was minuscule, something that someone wouldn't notice unless they were staring like he was to see the teen's fingers tighten slightly on the pencil, quivering lightly before he caught himself and stopped; his voice coming out forced now. "And if it makes her happy...then I accept her decision."
Splendid's blood ran cold at that. She doesn't want to be with him anymore? He thought she enjoyed their times together.."W-why-"
Shifty did look up now. The most serious expression he ever wore plastered to his handsome face; his eyes were cold and hard, burning into Splendid's wide heartbroken ones. "And if you care about her at all, then you would accept her decision too." But his words just seemed to fly right over the older man's head who continued to gape at him, speechless at the terrible news.
Why?! Wasn't he good enough? Maybe...maybe..."I-is it the money? Am I not giving you enough? I...I can pay you more for her!" His voice has risen with desperation, shaky and trying his best to bribe the thief. He won't be able to resist the extra cash right? Maybe that's why Flaky wasn't satisfied.
Surprisingly, instead of smirking like he usually would when money was involved; the teen scowled, actually looking offended and thoroughly pissed off. "Were you even fucking listening to a word I said? I said that this damn deal is off! You're not fucking her anymore, I already regret the way treated her by selling her to you; I'm not about to make the same mistake again." He scoffed, standing up and stuffing his hands in his pocket, turning a deaf ear to the man's continued pleas to keep her.
"Go find someone else to stuff your dick into. All I'm going to tell you is this: leave Flaky alone." His forest eyes stared at the man with no sympathy; the teacher should have known not to grow attached to something that was only physical.
"B-but..." He was devastated; there was no other words to describe how his heart felt like it was ripped out of his chest. He was trying to take her away...this...this...boy..was trying to take Flaky away from him; his fingers dug into the wood, teeth gnashing together in frustration..he was going to steal her away from him and there was nothing he could do about it.
Shifty blinked and leaned back against the desk next to him as he watched his teacher in interest. His sky blue eyes wide and lost, teeth scraping against each other, arms trembling as his nails dug into the wood; his hunched over back heaving up and down as his breath grew labored. A perplexing frown marred his lips when the strange man just suddenly seemed to regain his composure out of nowhere. His panicking seemed to dissipate into nothing as he set his handsome face into a calm smile that made Shifty feel on edge.
Straightening up, he turned to his student with that smile, light colored eyes empty and unreadable to the wary twin who could usually read him like book. "How about I give you a lift back to your home?"

A groan was heard as a figure was slowly roused, she blinked in an attempt to get rid of the heavy blurriness. A whimper. The back of her head throbbed something fierce, there must be a bump back there.
She lifted a hand to rub it and gasped, finding herself unable to move her arms with the scratchy material of ropes digging into her sensitive skin and confining her to the soft mattress below her.
She wiggled her legs and other arm tied down to the individual bedposts. Her breath picked up, head twisting every which way to find out where she was. Panic growing within her, crimson eyes darted around the unfamiliar dark room frantically. How did she get here? The last thing she remembered was looking up therapists with Lifty when they heard someone at the door; she had gotten up to answer it. The last thing she remembered was the color blue before everything went black.
She struggled to get out of the ropes, she needed to get out of this place. Sucking in a breath, she tried screaming...only to find out that it was unsuccessful with the gag in her mouth.
"Why do you struggle so much, love? Don't you like your new home?" A voice as soft as silk slipped into her ears, making her cease in her struggles to escape as her head darted to the right.
She gasped, eyes widening in disbelief at the youthful face of her teacher. He smiled softly at her, casually strolling to stand by the bed as he gazed down at her with loving eyes. Her eyes scanned his face, taking in the thick red liquid that dribbled down his peaceful countenance and felt her fear grow tenfold when her nose wrinkled up at the copper smell emitting from him.
And that's when she noticed that his red shirt was darker than usual, her screams came out muffled as she thrashed with renewed vigor to break the cuffs binding her, only succeeding in irritating her porcelain skin with rope marks.
He frowned at her attempt to get away from him. "Flaky, stop it. You know I wouldn't hurt you...Hey, guess what? I've got something to show you~"
He smiled again once she calmed down, wrists and ankles burning. Pulling his hand out from his back, he placed what he was holding on top of her chest. Her eyes widened, tears shining at the edges once she took in the sight of the lifeless forest eyes gazing back at her. The thick liquid flowed down to her collarbone and she felt the tears drip out of her eyes.
"He tried to keep you all to himself. It wasn't very nice of him to not share and see that you're mine." He grinned at the dismembered head, his fingers fisted into the dark strands and keeping it upright on her chest. "Not nice, not nice at all."
"But now that he's gone, that means you only have eyes for me right?" She screeched behind the gag when a large knife was suddenly plunged into the thief's face.
Splendid's soft smile abruptly grew demented, eyes wide and crazed as he ripped the knife back out, only to thrust it back in. Flaky could only sit there; sobbing as her lover's head was desecrated by the continuous stabs that the man was putting in, his hysterical giggles reaching her ears with each dive of his knife.
"He's not nice, not nice, not nice at all~" The crimson flew off the knife to line his face with more red streaks while the rest splattered onto the frightened girl below. "He. Is. Not. Nice!" Flaky thought that her heart had stop for a second when that last plunge broke through the back of the boy's head and almost punctured her chest with the sharp tip if Splendid hadn't stopped it in time.
He panted, chuckling he ripped the knife out and looked at his work. Flaky whimpered, unable to stop the tears as she stared hopelessly at the mutilated mess that was Lifty's face. "I think he learned his lesson, don't you think?" He asked her conversationally, tossing the head off to the side.
He sat down by her side, dragging the knife playfully along her body and drawing more shivers. "I got rid of those two nuisances so there's no one else to get in the way of our love now. Aren't you happy?" He grinned down at her, knife toying precariously with her jugular; Flaky didn't dare move in fear of being cut open.
"You know I just wanted to tell you that I love you." His eyes softened. The blade slid along her cheek and she eyed it cautiously.
Her heart was pounding rapidly in her ears when the knife reached just below her eye, tracing the bottom teasingly. "Do you love me too?" So focused on the knife and whether or not it's going to end up in her eye, Flaky didn't even hear his question at first.
Splendid did not like that she wasn't paying attention to him. The tip pressed into the skin a bit, gaining a whimper and a bead of blood. "Look at me." It came out soft but the threat hidden in it was obvious.
Her eyes nervously moved over to him, tears blurring her vision immensely. "I said, do you love me too?" It was a question, but it only had one answer; the steel steadily pressing deeper into her flesh told her so.
Her answer came out muffled through the gag, she carefully nodded her head to avoid getting the piece in her eye. He seemed satisfied with that, removing the knife and replacing it with his lips in a tender kiss.
"I thought so...I won't let anyone take you away from me," he whispered against her skin, his ears picking up the sound of his brother arriving home and calling his name; he grinned, grip tightening around the handle of the knife. "Anyone."
