Sorry for the delay in updating, but college is winding down and finals are fast approaching.

Daniel was flying towards school now that the Christmas vacation had ended and he heard from his spies that Harry and his father were back in town. He smiled he hoped that Harry got the help he needed and was off the globulin green once and for all. He landed in the alleyway and then turning human. He then walked into the school and sat down next to the fountain, next to MJ and Gwen.

"So, how were you guy's vacation?" He asked.

"Ok,"

"It was nice, Tiger," MJ smiled.

"It was wonderful." Another voice said as the three turned to see Felicia standing next to Daniel, wearing the raven necklace that Daniel got for her at the thrift store for Christmas.

"How so" He asked.

"Not telling," She smiled as she sat down next to him. Daniel sighed as the four soon headed inside and walked around. However, suddenly Daniel's sixth sense sensed something and someone landed on top of him. However, he twisted around and threw the person down on the ground.

"Ow…" Harry said as he slowly lean up.

"Sorry, sorry," Daniel said as he helped him up.

"Jeez, if I had known you were going to do that, I wouldn't have done that."

"Sorry, you surprised me," Daniel said.

"Yeah, yeah," Harry smiled at him. However, an image of the Green Goblin came into Daniel's head when Harry did that.

"Harry," Gwen smiled as she hugged him.

"Gwen," He smiled

"So you're back,"

"Yup, and completely off the green," He whispered to her, "Thank you looking out for me," He continued. Gwen smiled at him as MJ walked up to them.

"Hey, MJ, so what did I miss?" He asked.

"You know, same old, same old," She smiled.

"Other than the new rich student," Daniel smirked at Felicia. Felicia cocked an eye-brow at that, but then smirked,

"Felicia Hardy, pleasure to meet you Harry Osborn," She said shaking his hand.

"So, you're here now?" Harry asked.

"Yup," She smiled as quickly slapped Daniel's butt and then left.

Harry cocked an eye-brow at that,

"You sure I didn't miss anything," Daniel hissed a little and muttered

"If I didn't like the game she is playing, I would actually stop her," He smiled at that as Harry cocked his head at that.

"She is playing with you?" He asked. Daniel glared at him and then left them heading towards his class. Gwen followed him and MJ headed to follow where Felicia went. Harry gave a shocked look at that and then looking back at where Felicia and MJ went he smiled

"And they said I didn't miss anything important," He laughed after that and then turned on a heel and ran to catch up with Daniel and Gwen to ask them anything more about the new student and Daniel's feelings for her. In the principle's speech before school, he said

"And the cafeteria will not be serving tater tots until we go one month with no food fights." Everyone groaned at that, but he continued "Now I like to introduce these semesters' two guest instructors,"

"Directing this year school's play, we are honored to have Broadway star St. John Devereaux," Everyone cheered as Mr. Devereaux stood up and bowed in front of them. "And conducting a special weekly criminology seminar Captain George Stacy of the NY Police Department" He said as Captain Stacy stood up and then winked at his daughter.

"You must be proud," Harry said to her.

"I would be if I wasn't convinced he took the job to keep a closer eye on me," Gwen said back.

"Can't blame him for that," Gwen elbowed him in the arm for that.

"Stop it," She said.

"No, really," Harry started,

"When I was on the green you were the only one who noticed I was in trouble and tried to help," He finished as Gwen blushed a little and the bell rang suddenly. During the whole day, Felicia continued to play her flirtatious game with Daniel, who just tried to keep from blushing, but Harry could get nothing from him, Gwen or MJ about what was going on.

Time Skip:

Phantom was flying around the city that night hoping to either get his emotions under control or find something to take his aggression out on or find the Black Cat for a rematch. At least in Amity there was always the box ghost and since Nocturne showed up no other ghost had…yet and he had learned nothing from the searches in the ghost zone and that ghost whoever he was that took the Ghost King's ring had yet to reveal himself to anyone.

Phantom sighed as he sat down on a rooftop and looked over the city. He had to get some action in tonight, but something was wrong, nothing was happening at all. Perhaps Black Cat talked about our battle, He mused.

Nan… He finished as he sensed the Black Cat coming up behind him. He used his powers to see if she had any stolen things on her and after checking that she didn't, he jumped off the building and then flew off into the night, teleporting away once he got enough distance away from him.

"Wait…Ghost-boy," Black Cat sighed when she saw him leave, she wanted to talk to him, but she guessed that Phantom didn't want to listen to her. She sighed and then left as well.

Phantom found himself in the opposite side of town, in the worst section of the city, he fired an ecto-blast at a trash can in annoyance and was about to fly off when a laugh caught his attention and then a bar exploded in a flash of orange light and green smoke. Phantom gasped at that as he flew into the bar and iced the fires in there. Then he split into three copes and looked around for any survivors. However, as he did that, he heard a laugh again and turned to see a dark figure flying off on a hoverboard who looked a lot like the Goblin did. Phantom gasped at that,

did Harry get back on the green because of what happened today? He thought worried, no I have spies on him so even if that happened, they would have stopped him. What if he overpowered them? Phantom shook his head even I can't overpower a team of Clone Knights at full power, so there is no way he could have. However as he helped the survivors out of the bar as the police and fire department arrived, he knew that he had to find out if that was the Goblin.

The next day at school, Daniel didn't know if that person he saw was the Green Goblin, but he continued to look at Harry in hope he could see any signs of him self-destructing. However, it was difficult to do that with Felicia sitting right next to him with her hand on his thigh. However, he didn't stop her. No matter what he thought or said, he loved the feeling of her semi-clawed hand clawing at his thigh. He continued to send his ice powers to his face and crotch area to stay calm though.

After school ended, Daniel sighed, not having Felicia's hand on his thigh anymore and was heading towards his bike when a voice said

"Well, you're quite the ladies man now," Daniel looked to see Harry smirking at him.

"I'm sure I don't know what you're talking about,"

"Really, tell that to the claw marks on your leg," He smirked.

"So, I might like Felicia, I'm still not sure," He said sadly.

"Why?" Harry asked confused. Daniel sighed sadly and then looked up at him.

"What I'm about to tell you, you can't repeat ever, but a year after I lost my parents, my family and moved in with my godfather, my childhood life, who was a girl, who I loved with all my heart, died in a train crash on her way to see me. I was planning to tell her how I felt when she arrived, but when that happened…I was crushed completely. I never had the chance to know if she felt the same for me."

"Oh…" Harry said sadly for him. "Man, I'm so sorry,"

"I know, but don't worry about it, but do you understand why I'm still unsure about Felicia?" He asked.

"Yeah, but I do hope you make up your mind soon, she might not like it if she finds out you were just leading her on." Harry said.

"I know, and I hope so too," Daniel said as he mounted his bike and then raced off.

Daniel was in his room relaxing on his bed looking up out of the skylight, looking up into the heavens. He sighed when he suddenly found Sam's and Felicia's face in the stars and then forced his sight away from the skylight. He then stood up and picked up the picture of his family and friends that was taken before he became Phantom and before they died. He slowly moved his hand cross it as he smiled sadly.

He missed them oh so much. He kept his hand on Sam's face as fresh tears started to fall from his eyes. He missed her, the most of all and felt that if he had a relationship with anyone it would be an insult to her memory and her death. He placed the picture back on the nightstand and then walked around his room as he paced back and forth not knowing what to do at all with Black Cat or Felicia. He looked back up at the sky and then sighed

"Sam, Jazz, Tucker, Mom, Dad, Mr. Lancer, if you can hear me than please know that I am so sorry and…I know you might not forgive me, but please know that I am so sorry…"

Time skip:

Meanwhile deep in the ghost zone, a ghost sits on top of a throne as many soldiers walked in front of him. He only had a third of the Ghost King's old army and didn't have the Fright Knight under his command at all. The ghost hissed deeply at that and then walked off his throne towards the window. He had the ghost King's ring on his finger, but without the crown it was worthless and he had no idea where it has.

Only Phantom did, but with the rumor that he died two years ago spread in the zone so deeply, he had no idea if Phantom was still alive or not or if he had the crown on him or had hidden it somewhere that only he knew of. He sighed as he punched the window out and then turned to one of his Commanders and said

"Get me Skulker at once, I have a job for him." The nearest skeleton nodded to him and then left to find Skulker. The Ghost then turned to look out the window where he's army was training and smiled evilly; soon this place will be mine.

Daniel was walking through school; he had a very bad feeling for some reason the second he woke up, like something from his past was coming back to haunt him. He shook his head. He was just being paranoid that's all. He then entered the gym as he and the other classmates waited for the coach to come. He crossed his arms. He hated gym because of the shorts they were forced to wear that showed off his robotic leg that he knew that some were still looking at in shock and confusion.

He hated that most of all. However, the second the coach came out, a puff of blue smoke came out of his mouth as the temperature of the gym dropped greatly and turned dark. Everyone was shocked by that, other than Daniel, who immediately went tense and looked around for the ghost.

Hopefully, it would be the Box Ghost or one of his allies if not then he was in trouble. The coach and everyone looked around confused, but soon an armored ghost phased out of the ground and faced them.

"Hello, Ghost Child," He smirked looking at Daniel.

Skulker, Daniel thought in annoyance. Skulker smirked at him as the coach yelled "Everyone out," Everyone started to run out of the gym. Daniel growled but then followed them out. However, Skulker attempted to fire a green net at him. Suddenly two Phantoms suddenly appeared in front of him and caught the net.

"Sorry, Skulker, but they're off limits," The two phantoms hissed as they threw the net back at him. Skulker growled at that but then dodged the net and flew towards Daniel. Daniel hissed as he led Gwen and MJ out of the gym. Felicia had disappeared, but when he saw Skulker heading right for him, he growled and started to power up an attack.

That's it, just a little closer… Daniel thought. However, something suddenly hit Skulker and caused him to fly and hit the wall away from them.

"Cat," Phantom laughed as Daniel ran out and disappeared.

"I never pictured you doing something like that," He continued.

Cat didn't look at him, but did ask "Who is this?"

"A ghost that wants my pelt on his wall or at the foot of his bed," Phantom said as a third Phantom appeared. Cat smirked at that,

"Have you always had that ability,"

"Yes, but that's not what's important. You should go, Skulker is too powerful for you," Phantom said as Skulker slowly got up. Cat smirked,

"Really now," She asked. Phantom didn't answer as he raised an ecto-shield to protect them both.

"Well, I've seen that you have improved, Ghost child, but today, I am not aiming to kill you,"

"Then what do you want?" Phantom hissed.

"The crown of Pariah, I think you know where it is," Skulker said. "Hand it over or I will harm someone." He continued. Phantom smirked at that,

"You're working for the ghost that stole the ring aren't you. Never thought I'll see the day and…NOOO"

Skulker had suddenly charged at them and grabbed the Black Cat after Phantom had lowered the shield.

"Tell me where it is or the girl will be hurt," He said extending a blade and held it at her throat. Phantom paled at that, no…

"Let go of me," Black Cat said as she continued to elbow Skulker in the gut. However, Skulker held her in his arms. The three Phantoms hissed darkly as they all suddenly turned invisible and disappeared. Skulker gasped at that but before he could do anything, an ecto-blade cut his suit in half and then cut his arm that was holding Cat. Two Phantoms suddenly appeared as one grabbed Cat and then whipped his ghostly tail around to slap Skulker as the other one blasted him with a black blast.

"Are you ok?" The phantom holding Black Cat asked her.

"Yeah, thanks. Didn't know you cared" Phantom glared at her,

"Never say that, now get out of here." Suddenly there was a scream and they both turned to see another Phantom sucking Skulker into a thermos and then the three disappearing.

Black Cat was shocked by that Phantom said and what he did, but she then looked around and then disappeared as well as a police force slowly came in to find an empty gym with a few craters here and there, but no sign of what happened at all. Phantom made sure of that. Black Cat looked down from the sky light as she changed outfits and then ran off hoping to not cause any suspension from her classmates at all. Phantom was hiding in the building running around hoping to do the same thing as he changed into his human form and then met up with everyone else.

"What happened?" Gwen asked.

"Phantom saved me," Daniel smiled as Flash cheered,

"Nice going Phantom," As a few of the other A-lists cheered as well. Soon, the principle walked up to them and said

"Because of that attack, school is canceled for…well today at least. However, I am hopeful that it will be open tomorrow." With that, everyone headed out of the school and back home.

After the attack by Skulker on him, Phantom was flying around the city to make sure there weren't any more ghosts in town. He sighed after he finished checking the city, but then remembered the risk Black Cat took to help him. She could have been killed. He stopped in his flight as he remembered even detail of the battle and how enraged he was when Skulker did that and how he fought him without mercy afterwards. He sighed as he then flew towards the Hardy's manor to talk to Felicia's mother about the Black Cat.

Once he arrived, he found Mrs. Hardy in her office alone. He sighed as he phased in and said

"I'm here to see Mrs. Hardy." Mrs. Hardy looked up at him and gasped,

"Phantom, what are you doing here?"

"I have found evidence that your daughter this is Black Cat that I have fought against many times already, but who had just saved my life, but nearly at the cost of her own, do you know about that." Phantom asked her.

Lydia gasped at that, but then glared at him. "How dare you? How dare you…"

"I'm not. I am not calling her the Black Cat. I'm just saying that I found some evidence that I think proves that she is the Black Cat." Phantom interrupted her. "Such as," She asked crossing her arms.

"For one, her father is the Cat, two she sounds exactly like the Black Cat, three their eyes and body shape are exactly the same and I know of no other person that could know the Cat's tricks like the Black Cat does," Phantom said sadly.

"And even if she is what are you planning to do?"

"Nothing, I care for her too much to send her to a jail," Phantom said sadly, not looking at her at all. That shocked Lydia completely. "However, if she is the Black Cat then you have to stop her before she gets seriously hurt or killed…I can't help in that case, but I know you can."

"There is the still the issue that my daughter is not the Black Cat."

"As you say, but in case I would look into it. You never know what kids keep from their parents when they believe their parents won't accept them or could help them." Phantom said sadly. Lydia looked at him, shocked. She could tell that he was one of those kids, but knew she couldn't say anything. Finally she sighed, "Ok, but unless I find proof that my daughter is that Cat, will I talk to her about it,"

"That is all that I can wish for," Phantom said as he looked at her. Lydia smiled back at her, but then Phantom and her fell into silence. After several minutes, Phantom finally said,

"Now I'll bid you goodbye and good night," With that, he phased out of the room and then headed out onto the night, heading home with a hope that nothing would stop him on the way there and that Lydia would talk with her daughter and that Black Cat would stop before she got hurt or worse.

Phantom sighed again as he continued to fly home.
