Chapter 11

Cyril's training under Wyn's supervision had been going smoothly for the past week and her body had fully adjusted and coped up with her daily routine of training with Wyn. With Wyn's help in her training and Wyn's advices Cyril got the hang of her sword and spear training, which she learned that it was taught to her when she was still a child. Wyn also told her that she was actually supposed to be one of the children of Circus like her but then as what Akari had said before Cyril was recorded dead before she could even start her training under the supervision of the Circus.

As for Gareki, hi first week at the academy was not that nice of a start, he had messed up his first combat training and he didn't thought that the training would be that hard specially in mind that he had experienced the fight against varga fist hand, also what surprised him was on how well Tsubame can handle those training given that Tsubame is a girl. But that didn't made him quit because he has this drive to get stronger and better, not only for himelf but for Nai, Cyril and his friends. And so he had trained well and finally he had coped up with the training and the academics.

~At Circus 2nd Command Ship

Nai is still taking care of Karoku right after they had retrieved him from the other Karoku. Taking care of Karoku was a bit hard for Nai because Karoku hardly recognizes him and most of Karoku's memories are jumbled up that he was too cautious of the people around him. They told him that Nai was the closest person to him, but other than that none of his past was told to him. And so he just stayed in his quarters on his stay in the ship wondering what had brought him there.

Days passed and Nai is still doing his best to get close to his Karoku again; so that they could return to the relationship they had before. Almost every day Nai go to his room to check on him to the point it started to irritate him in some ways, but the feeling of irritation towards Nai seems wrong for him.

And today was not different; Nai went to his room again. Nai on the other hand was thinking if this time Karoku would talk to him at last and so Nai knocked at his door and let him in bringing some books with him for Karoku.

"Karoku! I brought you some books! Eto some picture books!" Nai said enthusiastically but then his enthusiasm faded as he saw that Karoku wasn't even paying any attention to him. 'Today's also not good' Nai thought looking down.

"Even though I always ignore you, you till come here everyday. So I thought I'd try to listen to you talk today" Karoku said coolly, though it was a cold approach it was enough to cheer Nai up making hi rush to Karoku's side which ended him tripping on his own foot throwing the pile of nooks at Karoku's face.

"Wah! I'm so sorry Karoku!" Nai said fussing over Karoku.

"Just be good and sit there.." Karoku said to the now embarrassed Nai. "Can I ask you some questions?" he asked Nai.

Nai got a bit nervous because it has been so long since he had chatted with Karoku, since he lost his memory and some of it were all mixed up, it was rather hard to talk to him than before.

"You…" but before Karoku could finish what he was about to asked he suddenly fell sick and fell on to his knees.

"Karoku!... I knew it, I should've stayed outside…" Nai said tearing up.

"No… Stay… this way, tell me everything you want to say to me…" Karoku said panting "Tell me everything…"

"But… but talking with me, Karoku always experience headaches…." Nai told him.

"I know… that is why… every day you came to see me… I feel this sudden pain in my chest…so…I want to know if the real e was anything like this…" Karoku said sounding desperate "So… I'll ignore this feeling in my heart and listen to what you have to say!"

Nai then began to sob and stutter as he talked to Karoku, then he showed him the Circus I.D. bracelet which he had been taking care of.

"This!.. this is yours! It's your bracelet" Nai said showing the bracelet to Karoku.

"This is mine?" Karoku asked looking closely at the bracelet.

"Yes! It's your circus I.D., though it's different than the current Circus I.D.s because yours is much older." Nai informed him.

"So to say, it really doesn't belong to me." Karoku said then thought 'Why would I have a Circus I.D.? if its like this, then more likely they had already confirmed it the moment he had arrived there'

"Ah!... Give me your hand karoku, I'll put it on you" Nai said holding Karoku's hand.

"Why?"

"They told me that other than its owner, it won't react to anyone or have any effect to others" Nai answered him.

"But I already told you, it's not mine. Besides I already touched it a while ago and it didn't react to me, so let not waste time and take it" Karoku told Nai then suddenly the bracelet reacted and sent out a warning message "DISCOVERED TWO ELECTRICAL CURRENTS, DEACTIVATING MACHINE ANNULED" then a sudden vortex had appeared in Karoku's room sucking both him and Nai in.

"Nai-chan!" Cyril barge in together with Wyn but they are too late because Nai and Karoku were already sucked in, so they immediately reported it to Hirato. Hirato then sent out an order to search for Nai and Karoku ASAP. Yogi then contacted Gareki.

"Gareki-kun! Nai-chan… Nai-chan.."

"Oi… Yogi, what happened to Nai?!" Gareki asked worried.

"Gareki-kun! Nai-chan disappeared!" Yogi said panicking. After the talk to with Yogi, Gareki immediately went to the director's office.

"Please enter… did you receive a call?" the director asked him.

Gareki slammed his hand on the director's table and said " Please return me to the Circus second ship!"
