authors note: ok here is chapter 11 sorry if the format is a little different im writing this on a new laptop and i havent gotten use to it yet, and for all of you who dislike my grammer... thank you for telling me, i understand my grammer and spelling arnt exactly the best in the world but just remember that everybody has problems with something for me its grammer and i'll be honest i failed gr 9 english but so what this is somnething i like to do so i wont let any flamers stop me from writing it for those who look past the errors and who really like the story so now that ive vented all that out shall we get to the story

chapter 11: a personal question
6:00 pm London streets, outside of Harrods:
the group consisting of Artemis, Holly, Butler, Minerva and Jeremy had just left Harrods after acquiring some appropriate dress wear for Holly and Artemis since neither of them had anything they could wear to Minerva and Jeremys wedding well Artemis did have a tux of coarse but it had been awile since he had acctually needed it and he has grown quite a bit since then while on the other hand Holly was never one to wear anything too girly since she joined the academy so this was going to be a real treat for Artemis who will be enjoying the sight of his elfen friend in a dress for once but alase the wedding was still weeks away and it would only be for one night that is unless Artemis could convince her to wear one to No1's welcome home party but he highly doubted that his negotiations skills were that good
"so what now" asked Holly who turned to the group with her question
"well it is around dinner time so i suggest we fetch something to eat before continuing shopping" said Minerva who's arm hung around Jeremy while she looked around for a restraunt
"wait more shopping!?" asked a confused and now upset Holly
"yes more shopping seeing as it is your first time to a wedding i want you to look fantastic" said Minerva who deepend her french accent on the last word
"but what else could there be to buy" asked Holly who was practicly pleading to find a way out of shopping more
"well there is jewlery" stated Artemis
"stay out of this Arty or by Frond i will put you in a dress" threatened Holly who was only half joking but none the less Artemis took a few steps back just to be safe
"well even if Artemis didnt say it i was going to say it anyway" stated Minerva who smiled at the exchange between the two
"I dont care who said it I dont want it to be said" said Holly who had turned to face Minerva now, Minerva however didnt back away as Artemis did that is either a really brave or stupid thing to do
"Holly please just this once, its not like im asking you to dress up everyday am I?" asked Minerva who didnt plan on loosing this argument, Holly saw Minerva's determination and knew that it was hopeless to win ageinst the female genius
" *sigh* alright Minerva you win but it is only for your wedding on that one night understood?" asked Holly who looked down in dissapointment of the fact that she was going to look as girly as possible
"yes Holly only for my wedding but then what will do when it comes your time to settle down and have a family?" asked Minerva who was really curious as to Hollys answer
"my wedding... I didnt plan that far ahead" stated Holly as she thought of the idea of her wedding for the first time
"oh really... Artemis what about you? do you already have your wedding in mind?" asked Minerva who thought this would be the oppurtunity to learn more about Artermis's feelings towards a certain someone, Artemis just staired straight on for a few seconds while every one had their eyes on him even Butler was curious as to his answer
"my wedding is like my plans it will be reveiled when the time is right as to not spoil any surprises" stated Artemis mysteriously and with a sly smile
"you dont really have wedding plans do you?" asked Holly seriously while looking at Artemis as if daring him to lie
"no, not a plan more of an idea or a preference" replied Artemis who looked Holly straight in the eyes as he said it
"oh really and what are your preferences then?" asked Holly who staired right back into his eyes
"all in good time" stated Artemis "now shall we find someplace to eat?" Artemis broke eye contact with Holly as he asked the question to the group
"yeah there is a place down the way from here" said Minerva who pointed the way
"shall we get going then?" asked Artemis who took the lead everyone else was forced to follow Artemis down the street
"hey Holly" whispered Minerva
"yes Minerva" Holly whispered back
"is it just me or is Artemis acting strange?" whispered MInerva who really Hoped no one could hear them
"he does seem to be acting different, i wonder why?" asked Holly who continued to whisper
"i am not acting in any different mannor then how i normally act" spoke Artemis who had heard every word
"nothing gets by you does it Artemis?" asked Holly who had spoken louder then before
"not usually no, you just need to know the right time but even then its still hard" replied Artemis who continued to look forward, the group walked for a little ways more until Minerva had called "this is it" and the group continued inside, when the group had entered it took only a moment for them to be seated by a waitress and another for their orders to be taken, the group then just sat there in silence with no one being able to think up a conversation starter, well almost no one
"so Minerva how did you know about this place?" asked Holly who had decided to break the silence
"well after i had met Jeremy and he asked me out this is where we came he told me that the food was magnific and that it was his favorite restraunt in this country" replied Minerva who seemed to be staring of into space at the memory of hers and Jeremy's first date
"must be nice to be in love" commented Holly who smiled at Minerva
"oh it is, havnt you ever felt love before, Holly?"asked Minerva who was pulled from her daydream like state
"i have only felt love from and to my parents but i havnt felt that in a long time" replied Holly who's smile had dissapered
"why is that?" asked Jeremy who asked the really stupid question
"holly's parents died a long time ago she has been alone ever since" said Artemis who answered for Holly
"oh im...im really sorry Holly i didnt know" said Jeremy who looked like a child being scorned
"its alright, as Artemis said it was a long time ago, i know my parents are together and in paradise so there is no reason for me to feel sorrow" replied Holly who had a small smile to show that it was alright
"but still Artemis you should have let Holly say it it was her buisiness after all" said Minerva trying to scorn Artemis but all she got back in reply was a cold shoulder
"Artremis are you alright? you are acting really strange" asked Holly who looked worried for Artemis, Artemis seeing the worry in Holly's eyes had softened up
"im... im sorry i dont know why i was acting that way" said Artemis who looked down towards his place mat
"its alright just dont start with the mood or this whole trip could turn sour" replied Holly who smiled at Artemis, Artemis upon seeing the smile instintly perked up
'interesting' thought Minerva
a little while later thier dishes had arrived, Butler recieved his steak and potatos that he ordered while Minerva recived her fish and salad and Jeremy recived his club sandwich with chips, all the while Holly and Artemis where wondering when their food whould arrive for they where both really hungry the waitress as if sensing this spoke
"the rest will be along soon" said the waitress as she went to the back to complete another order
"i hope my food comes soon i havn't eaten all day" said Holly who's stomach decided to prove that was true by growling as loud as any of them had ever heard which caused for them to giggle and chuckle at the timing and volume that it happend at which also caused Holly to blush and give a small smile in the moment
"that was some timing Holly" said Artemis who had stoped chuckling, Holly in the mean time continued to blush
"oh dont worry about it Holly besides because of it you got rid of the tense feeling in the air" said Minerva who looked at Holly with a big and warm smile as if to say thank you for lighting up the mood of the group
"well it wasnt exactly planned but i guess thats what makes it funny" replied Holly who was still smiling while the blushing had stoped, just then the waitress came back with Holly and Artemis's dish's, Holly had ordered a vegan salad and Artemis had recieved his bangers and mash (sausage on potato's sometime served with extra bits for those who didnt know, btw its really good)
"hopefully your stomach will quite down now" said Artemis who smiled towards Holly
"yeah i hope so but it didnt help that i missed breakfast this morning" said Holly through a mouth full of salad
"well your the one who decided to rest for a bit before going out" retorted Artemis with a grin
"i was preparing for the energy draining event known as shopping" replied Holly who waved her fork to add more panash to her words
"yet you forget that food is an important source of energy and that breakfast is the most important meal of the day" said Artemis who continued to grin towards Holly
"Artemis...shut up" said Holly who smiled a warm smile towards Artemis, Artemis in return smiled back
"you two really are the best of friends arnt ya?" asked Jeremy who couldnt help but smile at the show the two had put on
"you got that right Jeremy, i trust Arty with my life and i know he trusts me with his"said Holly who looked over at Artemis as if asking for him to confirm what she had said
"is that true Artemis?" asked Jeremy who moved his gaze over to the young man to await his reply everyone else though already knew what his reply would be
"yes i trust Holly with my life, even in the darkest times i can count on her to save me and those close to me" said Artemis who stared At Holly and Butler
"and vise-versa" said Holly who felt like she needed to add that
"since you two are that close have either you ever thought about having a relationship with each other?" asked Jeremy who was pleased when Holly and Artemis both coughed and almost spit up what they were eating in response to being asked such a personal question
"honey dont you think that is kind of a personal question for them to be answering?" said Minerva who also wanted to know but was smart enough not to ask Artemis about his feelings
"no its no problem what so ever Minerva" replied Artemis who had turned as cool as a cucumber "besides the question is already out there and it will not go away until answered but who's to say that what mine and Holly's answer is isnt a lie?"
"i guess only you and I will know if the others lieing then" replied Holly who had also calmed a bit "after all we can both tell when the other is lieing" said Holly while smiling towards Artemis, daring him to answer, it was a few moments later when...
"well if only you and i will know the truth then what is the point in answering Jeremy's question when he wont even know if we lied or not" said Artemis who raised a very good point
"im not going to get an answer am i?" asked Jeremy who was only a little dissapointed
"you might get an answer but the real question is is that answer the truth or not" replied Holly who had continued with her meal
"oh well then.. it was just a thought that had poped into my mind anyway you dont have to answer if you dont want to" said Jeremy defetedly
"anyway im finished so Hurry up i still have to buy some more stuff for Holly so she looks magnific at our wedding" said Minerva who was getting a little impatiant, with that the talking was over and the others quickly ate the rest of their meals and after it was all paid for and the group got back to the street Minerva quickly grabbed Holly and pulled her even further down the street while yelling back "meet us back at the hotel i want Hollys complete look to be a surprise" and the two continued away with Minerva dragging a terrafied Holly behind her
"i feel bad for Holly she will have to deal with Minerva all alone now" said Artemis who watched the two vanish down the street
"i thought you said that you would be there for her even in the darkest times?" asked Jeremy who started walking in the opposite direction
"i believe Holly can handle herself just this once" said Artemis who began to walk with Jeremy and Butler back to the bently
"besides if Minerva gets to out of control she will be the one who would be needing protection from Holly" said Artemis with a smile
authors notes: ok done another chapter and just so were clear this one took awhile to make, this chapter was started after Christmas and i got a serious case of writers block while writing this and yes i do make more chapters before one comes out so by the time this one comes out i will be done like chapter 14 and dont be asking for me to relese them i want to stay a head just in case i need an emergency chapter relese anyway thanks for reading until next time
