"Stupid Draven. Stupid Council. Stupid dad. Stupid. Stupid. Stupid." Sara grumbled as she stomped towards Gray's apartment. "Why do they have to stick their nose into everything? They really think they could take on one of the most powerful dragon that ever lived? This is exactly why they should never have been informed."

When she got to Gray's apartment she had to calm herself long enough to get her spare key to open the door but then slammed it close. As she was pacing around did Gray come in, breathing heavily from the run. "You. Walk to. Fast." Sara did not respond but kept pacing.

Gray did not like seeing her like this. She looked distressed, even anxious, and very mad. "Sara." When she still did not reply Gray walked over and grabbed her arms and pulled her to face him. "Sara, calm down."

"I can't calm down while the council are putting everyone's lives in danger. They don't know how to defeat Draven or the twins. If they find those last keys and then the entrance Fiore and all of Earthland is gone."

"Getting mad now is not going to solve anything."

"What else can I do? That stupid old man. He's an idiot."

Gray became tense and looked to the ground. "Sara, I know you always say that it is never the right moment and I don't want to push you, but I think now is the time. What is the deal between you and your father?" Sara gasped and pulled away. "It's not important."

"I think it is. We all can see that you don't have a relationship with him but why. At first I thought it was just a coincidence that Lucy had a bad relationship with her father because of her mother's death but now I'm guessing you're in the same boat. Am I wrong?" When Sara did not answer he sighed. "I guess not."

He's right. "Our mother wasn't a saint." Sara replied, sitting down and staring at her hands in her lap. Gray sat down next to her. "She was the complete opposite."

"Caelestra thought of the men she took as mates to be just her energy source." Gabriel began a few minutes after Sara asked and the guild were rioting to find out what was the problem. "Lucy, Sara, and I were not the only children Caelestra had." Everyone gasped as Sid and Forrest frowned, having already know the whole story.

"You guys always made it sound like you three were the only ones." Mirajane said.

"So your other siblings are still in the dragon world?" Wendy asked.

Gabriel shook his head and looked at Mirajane. "The three of us are the only ones still alive."

"What?"

"What happened to the others?"

"Did the Dark Knights get to them?" Different people shouted. Gabriel growled at the interruptions that Lisanna had to calm everyone down. "Let him finish."

"As I was saying," Gabriel coughed. "She did have more children, specifically, she had more boys, before us. Lucy and Sara are the only girls she had."

"So what happened to your brothers?" Natsu asked, confused at Lucy's frown.

"They were all killed by Caelestra."

Gray gasped. "She killed her own children."

Sara nodded. "Caelestra wanted a girl but when she kept having boys she grew angry and ate them." Hearing that made Gray want to puke. Who eats their own children? "Gabriel was supposed to be eaten as well but his father sent him away to a boarding school outside of Fiore. He returned when he was eight because his father got sick and Caelestra tried to kill him again but Gabriel fought back. Caelestra figured she could not kill him because he was too old and instead sent him away to the dragon world in hopes he would be killed."

"That's terrible. I could only imagine what he was going through. Lucy always praised her and spoke so much nice things about her."

"When Caelestra first brought us back for Lucy she warned Gabriel to never speak about the past with her. We never told her until we were all 14 but even then Lucy could not ruin the picture of the mom she knew." Gray nodded, understanding. "You asked about why we don't get along with our fathers and that is simple: they hold a grudge against us. Caelestra never told them what she was or what it meant for us until she shipped us off to the other world and ran away herself. Lucy's father thought she was doing the same thing to him and ignored Lucy, because of the similarities between her and mother, while Quil, my father, hates how much I looked like the one he fell in love with, knowing it was never true for Caelestra, and I hate how he casted me aside so easily. Gabriel's dad at least fought for him but mine just let her take me away.

The dragon world is not a place for children, even us who were half dragon. It was a fight for our lives every day; always wondering if this was the day we were going to be eaten or finally snap. Gabriel was able to survive once he met the twins and I was able to survive when I found him."

Lisanna scrunched her eyes in confusion. "Twins? You mean the two with Draven?"

Gabriel nodded. "We were all friends in the dragon world. Originally Silas and I were supposed to team up together as Shouta was close to turning into a full dragon but Draven's father wanted to see the twins fight together against me and I lost. Sara found me after watching our fight and recognized the magic I used as our mothers." Gabriel exhaled a large breath. "And you guys know the rest. When our mother came we decided to show her off and she ended up picking us to keep the family together. Plus she could manipulate our magic more easily to connect to Lucy's. Then she disappeared, we ran away and here we are."

"That's so sad." Wendy frowned, "you guys had to go through so much." Lucy leaned more into Natsu. Even if she knew the whole story it still pained her that they had to go through all of that while she was played as sort of the favorite. Natsu gently rubbed her arm.

Forrest grunted, not liking the depressed mood. "Yeah but they're here now. No need to be all depressed over the past. Each of them are happy now so who cares what their mom did."

"Exactly. I say we all get a nice rest and tomorrow we will figure something out." Sidell suggested. Gabriel nodded. "He's right. We can't spend all our time worrying about the past. Let Sara cool down for today." Remembering her Gabriel then growled, "those two are alone."

"Now. Now." Lisanna giggled.

Sara sighed with frustration and laid her head on Gray's chest. "It was stupid to get worked up but the council really pissed me off."

Gray chuckled softly, running his hands through her hair. "It is not stupid. I'm glad you told me about this. I just felt so left out when the three of you would not talk much about your past."

"It's not something we are proud of. We try to look to the future for our sake and for Lucy's. Dwelling on the horrible past would be useless."

"Even so. I'm still happy." He kissed her forehead and looked around. "It's so quiet. It seems like it has been forever since we were alone again."

Sara giggled. "We were alone three days ago silly." Three days? All this in just that short of time. "But I understand. I like the peace. Once Gabriel allows me to live with you we can have more days like this." She sat back up and crawled into his lap. "I love you Gray."

Wrapping his arms around her waist he placed a gentle kiss on her shoulders. "I love you too Sara."

They sat holding each other for what seemed like hours when Sara pulled away, smiling seductively. "It's also seems like forever since we last were together."

Gray smirked, having caught on. "Forever is a long time." He did not give Sara a chance to reply as he pulled her mouth to his.

If the way this was structured confused anyone Sara was telling the same story to Gray as Gabriel was telling it to the guild. And I own nothing Fairy Tail!
