Hello everyone! I am writing a few chapters before my hiatus. Everyone I know is bummed about it but it is so I can get a few days of rest and back up chapters.

If any of my chapters are in parts that means it's not a whole chapter. Put all the parts together then it is.

Sama: A form of saying lord and/or lady.

San: honnorrific of mr., mrs., miss...

Chan: honnorrific for child.

Kun: special Honorrific for a friend and/or family.

italics: thinking, soul reaper talking

Chapter ten: The mission in light part three

Rukia's POV~

"Now tonight, Ikkaku and Yumichika will begin the patrols around 8." I said to everyone. "Sounds good Lieutenant Kuchiki." Nodded Yumichika.

"Good." I replied nodding. They all nodded. "We will shift every couple hours til everyone gets a shift done." I told them. Byakuya thought for a moment. "Rukia, Renji, and I will do the last patrol." He told us. Renji looked like he was about to argue but he clamped up. "Good now you two go get some sleep before your patrols." Byakuya told Ikkaku and Yumichika.

They slumped as they got up and left for their rooms. Byakuya and I stood up. "We have our own clan home here in Karakura town. We will be staying there." Byakuya informed. Everyone nodded. "Captain Hitsugaya you are welcome to stay as well. Lieutenant Matsumoto as long as you behave you as well." He told them.

I yawned a bit. I was a little tired. "Rukia come." Byakuya told me. I followed him. I looked back at Ichigo who was twitching for who knows what or why. "Byakuya thinks he is all high and mighty." I heard him grumble. I shook my head as I followed my brother.

We got our gigai now. "You leaving all ready?" Asked Kisuke. We nodded. "I am tired and Byakuya has a few things to do." I replied. I yawned again. Byakuya waveed a hand to show how tired I am. I blushed a bit. "All right. Have a good day you two." Kisuke waved as we left. I rolled my eyes.

He don't like me like that Kisuke. I thought to myself. Byakuya and I walked to a Ford Focus. I raised my eyebrows in confusion. "It's my car." Byakuya told me. I blushed and smiled. "It is very nice car Byakuya." I said softly. He flushed a little. "Thank you Rukia." He chuckled. We walked to the car's passenger seat, and he opened the door.

"Thank you brother." I blushed a bit. I got in and sat down in my seat as I buckled myself in. Byakuya walked to his side and got in.

Byakuya's POV~

I smiled as Rukia got in. I hope I did not blush. I thought to myself. I closed her door and walked over to the driver's side. I smiled as I got in. I then put my mask back on. "On our way now." I started the car. We went to the Kuchiki home on the east side of town.

As soon as we arrived and I killed the engine, I noticed Rukia had fallen asleep. Silly girl. I shook my head. I got out and walked around to her side. I opened her door and unbuckled her. I picked her up and carried her into the house.A maid had opened the door for me. "Thank you Maia." I said in monotone. Maia nodded to me with a small blush.

"Of course my lord." She bowed. I walked past her down the main hall to Rukia's rooms. She moved slightly in my arms but stayed asleep. I chuckled as I sat her down in one of her chairs. I pulled back her covers and goit her and laid her down.
