Chapter Eleven

Although they had said that they weren't going to plan the wedding Marinette thought that it would have been better to actually have some order, since the most of the people that would be there that they actually know would be the holders. The only problem was that the media circled around the two, all because they found out that Marinette was pregnant. Once that came out the rumors started circling around again that that was the only reason Adrien was marrying her.

It didn't matter to the two though and all of their real friends knew it. He was marrying Marinette because he loved her. In fact Adrien came out and told the public in a very direct way that he loved Marinette and it was enough.

However what wasn't enough was the fact that even a month later, the pig was still loose. Even with the five heroes searching the city, it was like he just disappeared and Marinette knew that both Adrien and Chloe were aggravated for very different reasons.

For Adrien it was because he was furious that the man who had hurt Marinette didn't get the justice that he deserved, and while Chloe agreed for her it was more to the point that he escaped on her watch. Though to be fair she was a bit distracted with what happened with Hawk Moth and Volpina, it wasn't exactly Chloe's fault. Although they couldn't exactly tell anyone that.

Still despite the troubles the heroes were having, Adrien was having another. One that only Chloe, as Adrien's oldest friend knew about. She knew that he had composed a song for Marinette, but there was not way for him to really give it her. However that didn't mean that Chloe couldn't do something about it. She just had to run it past Adrien first. So she picked up her phone and started to dial his number, just to get his voicemail. Sighing Chloe waited unitl the message tone beeped then left a message for Adrien to call her back when he got a chance and that it was important.

"Commander?"

"Yes Razul?"

"It's getting late and I was getting ready to leave, do you want me to lock up or will you?"

"No, go ahead." Chloe said smiling at the opportunity. She could change and set out to try and find the man again. "I'll lock up."

"Alright good night commander." Razul said, then he turned back to her. "You know the two that are getting married next month, right?"

"Yeah, I went to school with them." Chloe said. "Why?"

"I was just wondering if the rumors were true that a famous model would marry her just because of her condition."

"No Adrien has loved her since they met in tenth grade. Believe me it would often get on my nerves how much he would hang out with her, or whenever he gave her attention, but then I realized just how much the two cared for one another." Chloe told her second in command. What she didn't tell him was how she discovered the reason the two loved each the way they did. "No Adrien isn't that shallow."

"That's a relief." Razul said. "I would hate for something like that to happen to that girl after what she went through."

"Well you don't have to worry about that." Chloe said then she thought about something. "Do you have an invite?"

"Yeah but I don't know if I'm going." he said sadly. "I always get invited to weddings but I hardly ever go."

"Why's that?"

"Because I don't have anyone to go with." He admitted "And I don't exactly feel comfortable going alone. I always end up getting someone to try and hook me up at a wedding and I feel uncomfortable."

"Why don't you go with me?" Chloe asked surprising them both.

"R-really?"

"Yeah sure." Chloe said blushing. "I don't have anyone to go with either so I'll be happy to be your date."

"Thank you commander." Razul said and he left as Chloe smiled.

'That was unexpected of you.' said a little yellow bee like creature.

"What do you mean Pollen?" Chloe asked her blush still slightly visible.

'You know what I mean Chloe.' the little Kwami said and Chloe smiled.

"Anyway lets meet up with the others for patrol. I'm honestly surprised that Chat hasn't curbed Ladybug's patrols." she sighed and transformed, then she left the office after making sure she locked the prescient. Then she met up with the others on the Eiffel tower.

"Alright now that we're all here are we ready for patrol?"

"Are you sure you should be out here?"

"Chat we've had this conversation I'm doing patrol until I can't no more. Now I'm taking the north side."

"I'll take the south." Bee said.

"I'll go to the east." Cara told them.

"Then I'll take the west." Rena said

"What about you Chat?" Ladybug asked.

"I don't know I guess I'll just go to downtown." Chat said and Ladybug nodded. Downtown was the last place he was seen.

"Alright meet up here in three hours." Ladybug said and she took off while the others began their patrol. But just as Chat moved to leave Bee grabbed his arm.

"Chat I need to talk to you without Marinette around and soon."

"Is something wrong?"

"No but I have an idea about the wedding and I want to run by you first."

"Alright I'll call you." he said and took off as Bee sighed, then she took off herself.

Chat sighed as he continued through the downtown trying to figure out what it was that Chloe could possibly want to talk to him about without Marinette around. There was only a month until the wedding and he still had no way to give his princess the song he wrote and composed for her. He had wanted to have it sung during the wedding, but he didn't know anyone who could pull it off.

Sighing again Chat looked around and quickly noticed something out of the corner of his eye. Jumping down Chat slowly moved around corner and saw the one person that the group had been looking for. Chat couldn't believe his luck, although he knew well that Ladybug wanted first crack at the pig, he didn't want Marinette anywhere near him.

"You know I can sense you little cat." Roco said puling out a gun and fired it, however for some reason it missed and Chat saw why.

"I can't leave you alone for too long, can I Kitty?" came Ladybug's voice and Chat sighed.

"How did you know?"

"I've been following you at a distance Chaton." Ladybug told him, pulling the gun out of Roco's hand and landed beside Chat.

"How come?" he asked

"I knew how you would feel about Roco if you found him and I didn't want to take the risk, even with Hawk Moth gone."

"Bugaboo…" Chat trailed off.

"Also I wanted to do one thing before he was really taken away."

"And what's that little bug?" he asked and Ladybug walked over to him.

"This." she said and punched him hard, knocking him out. Chat honestly kind of felt sorry for the man. He knew well what the pain felt by her punch, since he had felt it quiet a bit.

"You feel better M'Lady?" Chat asked walking over too her.

"Yeah a lot." Ladybug said, tying Roco up and hauling him up and made him walk toward the end of the alley.

"You know something Chat? It will always be me that she sees." Roco laughed. "Never you."

"But you won't be a problem anymore and we've gotten on with our lives." Chat said as Ladybug froze.

"Nothing you can say will break me away from Chat, so do yourself and us a favor, shut up." Ladybug said dangerously low and Chat knew that she would do something that she would regret later, if he didn't do something.

"Princess let me take it from here, you go get some rest." he told her and she nodded, then left.

"You know that your troubles aren't really over." Roco cackled as Chat pushed Roco to the police that was waiting. "You're about to face an enemy that you never thought was coming and you definitely won't see it coming." he added and howled with laughter as he was carted away.

As Chat watched as Roco was taken away, he thought back to what Roco said. There wasn't anyway that there could be someone else since Lila had the peacock miraculous and they got the Moth brooch back from Hawk Moth. So what on earth did Roco mean that they were about to face an enemy that they never expected or wouldn't see coming. Could one of their friends betray them or was Hawk Moth really defeated? After all his Lila and Marinette's future forms were there, so was it really possible that Hawk Moth's was there as well? Even though Ladyfly had the brooch it was entirely possible, wasn't it?

Sighing Chat nodded accepting the help for getting Roco back. Then he leaped up and started back to the Eiffel tower to meet up with the others. He just hoped that Ladybug finally listened to him and went home so that she could take care of their child. He couldn't bear it if he lost her or their child again.
