Ch. 11: Kyōdai
Meanwhile, the scene shifts at the streets as zombies are still infesting the city, but then another group appeared, but this time this group are attacking the zombies and this paved way for Sherwood and Gilliam's group to make it past the obstacles, and Sherwood saw who helped them, as the new group who came turn out to be the fishmen, who are under Hime's employ, and the leader of the fishmen approached Sherwood and greeted her in respect, which Sherwood nodded in gratitude.
"Princess Sherwood...sister to Princess Lillianne..."
"Thank you...onee-sama told me about you..."
"We saw what transpired...and we sensed that your sister may be in danger..."
"We believe it is...and we are on our way to find her retainers...they may know what is going on here."
"Then take us with you. We are willing to help."
"I appreciate it. Please accompany us."

Sherwood then led the fishmen as they head forward to find Riza and the others, and Gilliam sighed as he never thought that he would put his pride aside just to find out who sent the zombies here as well as to find out who the mastermind is, refusing to believe it is Severin since he knows that he already died, unaware that Severin is still alive.

Meanwhile, the scene shifts back to the restaurant where Riza, Reiri, Sylvia and Mikasa are struggling to fend off the zombies as more and more of them are showing up, and the restaurant was completely surrounded. Sylvia's gynoid finally ran out of energy and went still, and Mikasa's FLAME OF LIFE is nearing depletion, and is starting to collapse, as she is getting exhausted in fighting off the zombies, that kept on coming in.
Reiri is also at a disadvantage as she had little space to assume her bat forms and can only kick the zombies back while Riza uses her wolf arms to punch the zombies away, yet Sylvia was surprisingly calm as she slashes the zombies away with her rapier. She commented that this was a rather fun way to relieve stress, yet Riza chided her for acting so trivial under these circumstances.
"Jeez...I can't believe you would act like this even if the situation is dire..."
"Oh dear...it's no wonder you get stressed up, werewolf warrior..."

However, more zombies came and the sheer numbers are slowly forcing Riza and Sylvia's group back, and Reiri uncharacteristically pulls Mikasa to safety while Riza is getting more pissed as the seemingly unlimited number of zombies coming here, and wished there was a miracle that would help them get out if this predicament, but Sylvia jokingly told her to be careful in making wishes, which the female half-werewolf warrior rebutted.
"I sure wish a miracle would happen..."
"Oh dear...be careful at what you wish for..."
"Why not?"
"Sometimes it would back fire at you..."

However, Riza's wish seemingly came true as the zombies were somewhat levitated and thrown out of the restaurant, and as Riza and the others came out, they saw Emile using his telekinesis to hold the zombies in place while his giant gynoid swats them flat with its giant mechanical hand, ensuring that the zombies are taken care of.
Keziah Bold came and greeted Riza and the fellow wolf warriors are glad to see each other and there Riza learned that Emile and his group were also being assaulted by zombies and somehow they managed to overcome the zombies despite being outnumbered. Keziah then asks Riza if she has any idea about who is behind this, and she told him that Reiri believes that Severin is behind this, which made Keziah doubt it since he was among those who witnessed Severin's supposed demise.
"Are you sure, Wildman?"
"That's what I think..."
"Impossible...we all saw him die along with his gynoid..."
"I know..."
"Then how can you...?"
"That's what Reiri said..."
"And you're taking her word for it...?"
"..."
Reiri approached Keziah and told him that according to a bat she SPOKE to, Severin is somehow alive and is the one who sent the zombies rampaging the entire streets, and Keziah is still doubtful that Severin is alive given how he died when his gynoid exploded with him, and asks Reiri if she is sure about what she said, and she sticks with her word, causing the two to a debate.
"My information is never wrong."
"Coming from a vampire..."

"I saw it...you saw it...Severin blew up..."

"Just because you work for Hime doesn't mean I will..."
By then, Emile came and calms Keziah down, and neutrally asks Reiri for conformation, and Reiri told Emile what she gathered so far, and seeing that she is not lying, Emile tells Keziah that for now they will have to consider her words and find out how to lure out the culprit if it is Severin who is pulling the strings and send the zombies here.
By then Sherwood and Gilliam arrived, and while Riza is glad to see her okay, she is a bit defensive upon seeing Gilliam, and there Sherwood tells her to calm down as Gilliam is here to help and they agreed to a temporary truce. Gilliam is quite displeased to see Emile and Sylvia here yet he had to abide by his word and not speak anything provocative for now.
Emile then saw the fishmen and asks Sherwood why they are here, and Sherwood said that they are going to help in dealing with the zombies and to find Hime.
"Are you sure, Sherwood?"
"Yes, nii-sama."
"I see..."
"The fishmen can be of help to us."
"..."
"Well...?"
"Very well. Sherwood..."
"Yes...?"
As the two siblings talked, Sylvia recharges Mikasa and has her gynoid connected to the restaurant's generators and have it recharged. As the siblings are pondering on their next move, a huge wave of zombies arrived, and both Riza and Keziah are pissed at how things are getting more and more annoying in sending zombies here.

As Riza, Reiri, Keziah and Mikasa are bracing themselves, Emile watches on as Sylvia and Gilliam are wondering what is he up to and what he intend to do as he is staring at the scene as if it were like nothing happened.
