Blood Moon

"JOCELYN RUN! GO!" Ty choked out, but it was faint from no oxygen. He then had a violent body jerk as his chest suddenly began to jerk upward. He gasped as oxygen filled his lungs. It felt like his lungs had expanded to receive it. Oh but he was right. Ty saw his chest had expanded. It was broader, making fabric from his shirt tear a bit.

"Ty…what the…what is going on?!" he heard Jocelyn ask, anger hinting behind her feared voice.

"Jocelyn…run…" Ty got out. He felt light-headed, and saw the glowing eyes of his felines. Jocelyn kneeled down to him.

"Don't…tell," he whispered, holding out his wrist. Jocelyn looked at it.

"No wolf…we-werewolf…" Ty got out before giving up on speaking. His body just hurt to the core, as he saw moonlight. Jocelyn on the other hand only stared at Ty.

"Oh Ty…you're a…a…" she stammered.

"Werewolf…" Ty answered for her.

"Right…I'm sorry this happened to you…I can't just leave you to suffer," Jocelyn cried. Ty looked at the moon. He felt Jocelyn hug him, her red cloak covering his body.

"Jocelyn…go…" he rasped out. Jocelyn shook her head.

"No…I can leave you to…Ty no…" she whispered.

"Keep…you…safe…" said Ty. He finally let go, and let the transformation continue. He had been holding it in as long and as much as he could, no matter how much it hurt. Ty screeched out, as blood began to run from his mouth and nails. It began to stain the ground, splattering it like it was paint. He didn't want to open his eyes to see what was happening while he turned. Then something happened that made him open his eyes. He heard a a terrible cracking sound, as his spine began perking. He looked at his hands while it did so, standing on hands and knees. He opened his eyes a slit, then widened them. His hands were turning into paw-like things with claws. Ty began crying, but the cries were yells of pain.

Almost at once his flesh began breaking, as his muscles began to broaden whilst his back legs and feet grew out. Ty began to moan, for his yells were dropping octaves. He felt his clothes tear off, as his skin felt like it was melting. He looked at his arm, as a thick lair of brown fur rapidly grew from it. His ears grew into a point, while pressure built in his skull. Ty felt his mouth grow outward, while a tail grew in. His eyes tingled, and turned yellow. He then began to literally, lose his mind. He was no longer human, but an animal. He let off a blood-chilling howl, and growled, staring around at where he was. Then he narrowed his eyes at Jocelyn.

Jocelyn stared at Ty, not believing in what she was seeing and hearing. Ty was changing into a werewolf, and there was nothing she could do about it. She saw Ty stand and howl, the remains of his clothes on the ground. He looked back and stared at her. She froze in his gaze of burning yellow. It seemed like they were unlocking all her secrets, the keys to her soul. She backed up, looking for the door. But Ty only came closer, his lips curled into a snarl. Jocelyn tripped on something, and fell back.

"Ty don't do this," she stammered. Ty growled, frothy drool coming down his face. Jocelyn felt began backing away, kicking. But stopped as Ty purposely caught his claws on her cloak.

"Ty…please…" she begged him. Ty then grabbed her fully, pinning her down. She couldn't move any part of her body, and felt warm drool cover her. Jocelyn faced the two burning yellow eyes, which burned in rage and bloodlust. This…this wasn't Ty. This was…an animal, an animal that wanted to kill her. Jocelyn fought but the grasp was to firm. Then she felt a sudden pain across her chest, which hurt like someone had stabbed a knife in her chest. Jocelyn looked at her chest. Long claw marks went down it.

"Ty…no…please…" she sobbed. But no mercy was showed, for the werewolf sank its fangs into her chest, and tour off flesh. She gave a silent scream, and began to see light in her world.

"Ty…stop…" she whispered. But her world went white as one final pain seared her chest.

The werewolf clawed out the heart. He tour it out and got off the body. He placed it in the moonlight, almost like an offering. Then he turned to the carcass. He walked over and began to devour it. Blood stained its muzzle and claws, as it looked around. The werewolf saw its reflection in the mirrored wall (since it forgot who it was) and growled. He turned away from the reflection, and saw two felines. Both hissed at him, back fur bristling. The werewolf snarled at them, but looked outside. It perked its ears and then jumped out the window, shattering glass. The first cat watched it go, while the second crept over to the body. She looked into her eyes, mewed. Then she nuzzled her neck and then laid in her cloak. Then the other cat hissed as she heard a howl. Then the two cats laid down together in her cloak and fell asleep.

Kill. Kill. Eat. Kill. was all it could think. The animal couldn't think of anything else. It was on a bloodlust. The werewolf howled, as it smelled the blood of its foes. The werewolf howled, breaking into a dashing frenzy as it got close to the smell. Finally it saw the prey. The werewolf stalked it in the dark, a growling curling into its lips. It pounced, snarling loudly.

Where...Where am I? he thought. Ty slowly awoke, unknown to where he was. He stared around, and blinked a few times to clear his vision. He took in his surroundings, and at once was terrified.

A body lay not to far from him, and blood painted the ground, splattered across the dirt clearing.

Do I dare crawl near it? he thought. Ty then felt a sharp pain travel down his right eye. He felt it, and felt a sticky substance across it. He slowly shivered, as wind blew. Ty felt his arms, and realized clothes weren't there. In fact, there were no clothes on his body. Ty felt his face go hot, realizing he was bare.

Ty crawled over to the body, and took off its clothes. He put them on, and got up. He studied the body's wounds, and saw deep claw marks and a fatal bite mark.

"I-I did this..." he whispered. Ty looked away, and walked home, slowly. He would get sharp pains in his head every other moment, while fatigue came over him. Sleep was all he cared about. This only happen once a month...right? Then he remembered.

"Jocelyn..." Ty muttered. He ran home, and practically broke down his door. Ty fell to the ground, and at once tears slid down his face. There lay Jocelyn, blood stained. Her heart's been torn out of her chest blood was everywhere. His cats were glaring at him from the bathroom, an unreadable look in their eyes. Ty kneeled down to Jocelyn, and began crying. He placed her head in his lap, and stroked her hair. He closed her eyes, for they were still wide with terror.

Ty saw a tear stream, which he knew was not his, coming down from her eye. He knew it was not his for it had come from her eye, and it seemed faint. Ty cried more.

"I am a monster!" he cried. Then the small flame of anger came back, and grew more rapidly. Ty screamed, a silent deadly scream. Why did he have to kill her? The person he loved in life was dead, because of him, because of the wolf. Ty pressed his face into Jocelyn's chest weeping. Ty kissed her, a stone pressing down in his chest. He stayed in that position of cradling her for a few moments, before getting up. Ty saw her heart, and without flinching picked it up. He placed it inside Jocelyn's chest, secure enough so it wouldn't come out. Then he picked her up, and kissed her again. Then he brought her body outside.

It wasn't a proper funeral, but he did it. Ty had given Jocelyn a funeral, but it wasn't much. Just in an abandoned cemetery with a homemade coffin, and store bought flowers. She didn't have a big gravestone, but just a piece of wood that said R.I.P Jocelyn. But still, it was at least a funeral. Ty wept for a few more moments, before walking away.

After an hour of crying, cleaning, and corruption, Ty had finally heard the buzzing of his phone. But he didn't look at it, but just continued what he was doing (which was scrubbing an already cleaned floor of blood). Finally it kept going off, and it annoyed him. Ty got his phone, and saw his friends had texted him over a million times.

(All of Sky's texts): IT HAPPENED AGAIN!

2. Ty...are you there?

3. Oh god...

(All of Jason's (TrueMU) texts): 1. Ty...these are getting really close to you, are you positive you aren't seeing anything?

2. Ty...please don't be silent, it makes me worry

(All of Quiten's (Husky) texts): 1. Ty are things ok there?

2. Ty pick up plz

(All of Ian's (Sundee) texts): 1. Ty I just heard what happen, this is like something out of a horror movie.

2. You ok buddy?

(All of Mitch's (Bajan) texts): 1. Ty, that's...I don't even.

2. Its really close to you.

(All of Jerome's texts): 1. Ty please please please be careful.

2. Are you ok?

3. Please don't be hurt...

Ty just read them, but didn't respond. He didn't feel like it, since he was overwhelmed with grief and exhaustion. Plus, he didn't want to lie anymore. That would add into the negative feelings. That's when Jason texted him again.

I won't tell anyone, please tell me what's going on,

I already lied to you, I can't he thought. Ty looked at the text over and over again. Thoughts whirled through his mind like a hurricane, and they stopped when Jason texted again.

Ty, we don't want you bottled up with feelings. It's ok to admit you're scared.

Ty sobbed lightly. No more lying. Of course he would keep the secret of his, 'condition', for the safety and sake of his friends.

I am scared Jason. Very scared. So many people have died near me.

My girlfriend Jocelyn was one of them. She died and I found her body. I buried her, but I can't keep up with this.

Ty sniffed, looking down at his clothes weren't even his. Then Jason replied again.

Ty, we want you to come live with us. Until these attacks stop. It's not safe, we don't want you hurt.

Ty widened his eyes. He couldn't, it would endanger them. They might get injured, or killed...

Jason, I can't,

Jason: why not?

I have my cats to worry about

Jason: you can take them with you,

They won't be happy

Jason:Kennel?

I don't trust Kennels

Just bring them here, please Ty?

Ty thought for a moment. They wouldn't get off his case until he agreed. And, the full moon only happen once or twice a month, so was there no harm? And once they saw the attacks stopped he could go. Maybe it would be good for his grief? His sanity? Ty sighed. He looked at his two cats who stared back at him.

Ok Jason, I'll come tomorrow.
