Hello my lovely readers so sorry I haven't updated sooner as I've been crazy busy but I've always been writing in my spare time when I get to it. Hope this will fill your needs until the next chapter.
T-T-T-T-T-T-T-T-T-T-T-T-T-T-T-T-T-T-T-T-T-T-T-T-T-T-T-T-T-T-T-T-T
Crazy how that was five months ago and now it is just a few days till my birthday which is on Halloween. Cool right? I've always loved this holiday, to dress up, eat candy and just have so much fun watching scary movies on Sci-fi. They may all be cheap movies but some are just fun to watch, my favorite series is Friday the 13th and Freddy. I know it sounds stupid to have a birthday on Halloween like I read in some stories but I always enjoy Halloween parties. Went to Tony Starks last year and it was awesome! That and Natasha aka Black Widow threw a piece of cake in Tony's face for insulting her and I took so many photos. Oh and yes I have met the so called Avengers at one of Tony's parties and some at the hospital gala's he helped built. Natasha is real sweet even if see could kill me with a flick of her wrist but overall nice in my picture. Met Wanda whom I text every now and then to see how she is doing since many don't like her after what happened with Ultron and accidently injuring the people. She is nice and likes my art and we chat every so often, mostly when Vision is bugging her whom creeps me out. Sam aka Falcon who tries to be cool but isn't really. Talking to him makes me feel he is trying to hard but still nice. Then there is Steve Rodgers, the Great Captain America; all around hero and crap. Steve may be good looking, a perfect gentleman, and in real great shape but to me he's a too goodie good perfect. He's asked me out twice and I've said I'm busy but really don't want to date him.
Anyway besides meeting them I've been seriously busy with my art and now planning the Gala I've been planning to sell some of my new art which is a lot since I've been going crazy with art ideas since I met Victor. Plus a few modeling jobs on the side but I am pretty excited for this Gala. Since I've gotten so much art I've moved it to another larger studio that I rented out for the night. I've sent out all the invitations to my regular customers, friends, and invited guest to some celebrities that have enjoyed and bought my art. I've been posting for the past month and a half about everything and invitations sent out early. I'm on my computer making sure all the drinks, small finger foods, and everything else June had sent me everything else she had set up. My manager was also four months pregnant and having a girl which I can't wait to spoil. She won't be attending the Gala as she is home resting, her blood pressure has been too high and the doctor made her stay at home and rest with no work.
Anyway, I'm just excited to sell and hopefully a good portion of my art tonight. Thing about me when I sell my art is that I sell half of what I the sale price is, goes to a charity that the buyer can choose from except their own charity. I've been in several magazines about my art and charity work such as 'People', 'Times', 'Us Weekly', and 'Glamour'. I've already saved them in my scrape book I have all my model pictures and when I was mentioned in a magazine. So yes, in simple if the art I created is 5,000, half of that goes to a charity and I keep the rest. I know it sounds like I don't make much but I do pretty damn well with making money with my art. Besides my art I have also worked with Tony with him building hospital in areas that were damaged or destroyed by the alien invasion in New York and Sokovia along with several other places. Tony asked me if I could paint the children's ward and rooms which I loved doing as it was so much fun along with the huge check Tony gave me. Tony is pretty okay in my book and often if he needs art he asked me. Especially since Tony tried to get Pepper back since she left him, he really feels bad on how he treated her as I feel terrible for him. Pepper is sweet but I guess what happened in the past with the two I kind of would do the same if someone I cared about for a long time didn't realize it until it was too late would seriously suck.
Pushing that awkward side thought from my head or when I was at a benefit and was caught in the middle of them fighting. Trust me we do not touch that subject around Tony or Pepper. Sitting on my Prussian blue velvet tufted two-arm settee in my bed room, sitting near my window listening to the outside noises of the birds, ocean, and seagulls with the busy sounds of traffic off in the distance. My blue lap top was in front of me as I checked my emails with Beast laying in my lap purring in his sleep. I was sitting in my satin Victoria Secret black satin shorts with an oversize t-shirt with a few paint stains smeared in different places with my hair up in a messy ponytail. I've already paid the caterer, renting the space, and drinks for the Gala on Friday as I have a few free days till then. I even invited Jonathan and his mother Anne to the gala, Jonathan is excited as I told him Captain America would be there knowing Tony would bring him since the Captain is into art. That an Anne will have a nice day off from work and have an enjoyable night with free food and drinks. Scrolling down from my email with some junk my phone vibrated next to me as I picked it up and smiled.
Hitting accept I placed the phone to my ear, "How's the cold where ever you are?"
"Fucking cold," Victor grunted as I giggled as I could tell he wasn't. "What are ya wearing?"
"No bra with an oversize paint stained t-shirt with satin short Victoria Secret sleep shorts," I grinned as I heard him grumble in the background. "What are you wearing?"
"Too much right now, damn blizzard. I rather be between your legs feeling your hot pussy wrapped around my cock as I thrust hard and fast into you," he purred into the phone.
Fuck, I moved Beast out of my lap much to his dislike as I was getting hot and bothered as I squirmed in my shorts.
"You just know what to say to get me hot don't you," I teased.
"Damn right I do," I shook my head at him as I leaned back in my chair.
"So the mission is going well?" that I assume he is on one.
"Fine just trying to get to the damn plane, what are you doing?" he asked as I could hear whatever engine rattle in the background with a few gears grind.
"Nothing much since it's been a week since I talked to you, just having my Gala for my art this Friday on my birthday. Paid for all the expenses and just hope I sell a good portion of my art Friday," I replied as I looked out the window to the ocean in the distance. "Victor."
"Hn?"
"When will I see you again? It's been about five months and," I stopped as I was nervous to tell him I really missed him. I've said before but now I just couldn't. His shirt I took doesn't smell like him anymore and I miss it. "Um are you busy this Friday?"
"Why?"
"Because I wanted to know if you wanted to come to my Gala for my art, and it's my birthday. I just want to see you," I mumbled sadly as I fiddled with the end of my shirt.
"I don't know lamb," he mumbled unsure. "I will see what I can do lamb, have a good time at the party I got to go."
"Oka well fly safe," I hit end call and leaned back head back as I felt tears form at the end of eyes.
I don't know what to do about this Mate situation as I thought we are supposed to be irresistible to one another from what that damn Twilight book says. Crappy story but still I don't know what to do. Getting up I walked to my kitchen to get a glass of water while wiping my tears that were forming. I do miss the brute, miss him snoring at night and how his claws when I was half asleep would trace over my skin giving me delicious goose bumps. Sighing I went back to my room to pick my laptop up and get in bed as I put on Netflix and watched American Horror Story Hotel.
T-T-T-T-T-T-T-T-T-T-T-T-T-T-T-T-T-T-T-T-T-T-T-T-T-T-T-T-T-T-T-T-T-T
The days passes as it was soon Friday, my birthday. I was twenty five years old and the morning was gloomy till Anne and Jonathan knocked on my door with breakfast. Showering me with gifts and with a few Jonathan had wrapped. I kissed his cheek thanking him for the gift as it was new brushes and paint that he bought with his allowance. Such a sweet boy he is and Anne was treating me to getting out nails done along with our hair after lunch and had given me some of her delicious cookies she baked. Oh sweet Satan so baked the best cookies! Second to my grandmothers but still of so GOOD! Taking a quick shower I was off with my lovely neighbors to my favorite sushi restaurant in the city, I was more surprised that Jonathan even likes sushi though they have other food as well but he still ate a few. Once done we headed to get our nails done as Jonathan had his iPad to keep him busy while Anne and I caught up. Soon evening came as we returned home I began to dress in my elegant gown I had bought weeks ago.
My hair was up in an elegant up do with several strands in loose around my face in loose curls with crystal white pins holding my hair into place. Nails painted a midnight blue with same color of glitter at the tips of my nails. Smokey blue eyeshadow with black mascara made my grey eyes glisten bright with a dark wine red lipstick painted on my lips. For my gown I wore a dark blue tulle organza off-shoulder, A-line long evening gown. The dress featured a V-neck bodice, heavily adored with iridescent sparkling bead work, and it is followed by falling off my shoulders. The chiffon skirt which cascaded gracefully from my waist down to the floor turning it into a sweep train. Around my neck was the same necklace and earrings I wore when I went on my first date with Victor. The beautiful peacock colored Bermuda blue (blue teal green tone) genuine crystallized Swarovski teardrop necklace and earrings. On my feet were the Marco Proietti Blue and green leather and Swarovski crystal 'Rainbow' pumps. Wearing these jewels made me feel flustered as I remembered my time with Victor in Vegas. Grabbing my black large rose rectangle clutch with the silver chain I heard Anne knock on my door signaling it was time to go. Kissing Beast as he at his food on the counter I grabbed my cell and headed out. Jonathan was dressed in his best suit eager to meet Captain American knowing he would be there since Tony texted me he was coming among a few other people when I sent out the invitations. Anne was in a lovely silver sweetheart neck line with silver beading and as it simmered whenever she walked.
The taxi took us into the city where we soon reached the building, paying the taxi driver I walked with my friends to the building and into the elevator which took us to the thirty six floor. The metal doors open as I met with many guess whom have arrived early with the walls decorated with my art. Everyone greeted me as I smiled and hugged friend whom all greeted me.
"Emily!" I turned to see Tony in his best suit smiling with his arms wide with Steve, Natasha, and Banner with him following behind.
"Tony," I smiled as I hugged him.
"You're late!" he exclaimed as we pulled apart.
"I can't control the traffic Tony nor can I fly around in a metal suit. Oh Natasha, you look lovely," I hugged her as she was in a lovely the black gown she wore. She smiled and handed me a white black long box after we pulled apart.
"Here, happy birthday," she smiled.
"Oh you didn't have too," I took it as she shrugged.
"Oh it's nothing, the art you gave me for Barton for his wife was just amazing and here is my thanks," she replied.
"Are they doing well?" I asked as she told me of Barton and his family.
Natasha nodded, "Yes and we all chipped in for this for you as thanks."
I ripped open the wrapping to find a lovely charm bracelet with each a different charm I guess the family picked out as well as Natasha with her spider charms as a Black Widow.
"It beautiful, thank you," I hugged her again.
I turned to see Banner hand me some sunflowers as I hugged him and Steve walked up to hand me a gift with blue wrapping with a white bow.
"Emily, happy birthday," Steve said as I smiled at him.
"Thank you Steve," I smiled as I opened the box to show a six piece silver paint brushes which completely surprised me. "Oh my gawd Steve this wow."
I looked up at him shocked with my mouth hanging open a little while he was grinning.
"I had them made with pure silver with the finest brush tips I could afford," Steve spoke but my mouth still hung open.
"Damn," I heard Tony mutter to Nat which I glared at him then smiled back Steve.
"Funny but Steve I have a someone who wants to meet you," I spoke.
"Really?" Steve asked as I moved Jonathan in front of me as he held a few cards in his hands looking shy.
"Steve this is Jonathan and he is your biggest fan," I spoke as Steve smiled as he bent down on one knee with a smile.
"Really now? How you doing kid?" Steve asked.
"Fine sir," Jonathan spoke quietly. "I found some cards of you and wondered if you can sign them?"
"I sure can, let me see," I smiled at them as Anne walked up and knelt by her son as Steve signed his cards and gave them back as Jonathan thanked him.
After greeting everyone and some giving gifts, I placed them behind the bar that was in the room. I circulated with everyone, having a drink with some good friends and my regulars as I asked them how their life was doing. Same with how their families were as some were having children, others graduating college, and some working in their own field of work. Hours passed as it was nearly one as Anne left with Jonathan two hours ago as he was falling asleep and Anne was also getting tired as well. As for me I went outside on the patio as I stared out to the city lights and cars, my feet hurt but my thoughts were far away. Wondering what he was doing, where he was, or if he was thinking of me as I do of him.
"What are you doing out here?" I turned to see Tony walk over to me with a glass of whiskey in his hand.
"Tony can I talk to you about something?" I asked as he shrugged his shoulders replying, "Sure."
I looked behind him as I walked over closing the two glass doors I turned and pulled Tony by the arm from the view of the glass near the corner.
"Please tell me we aren't going to make out?" Tony asked as I gave him a glare.
"Not funny," I replied.
"Still pulling me in the corner is weird you know this right? I feel like you are my baby sister," Tony placed his drink down on the ledge.
I walked away pacing a bit.
"Emily what's wrong?" I could hear him as he sounded worried as I turned to him.
"I need some advice and I don't know what to do," I spoke.
His eyes looked side to side then at me unsure, "I don't know if I'm the best person for that. Emily, what's going on?"
I looked at Tony as I said the words, "I'm dating Victor Creed."
There I said it oh my freaking GAWD I finally said! You have no idea how long I've been dying to tell someone for months but I always thought it would be better if no one knew since he was a killer.
"You're WHAT!" Tony exclaimed as I then tried to shush him. "No don't shush me, do you know who he is!"
"I know Tony but I've been talking with him for five months now –"
"FIVE MONTHS!"
"Tony please don't tell I need help."
"You defiantly need help; did he rape you?"
"No." I rolled my eyes at him.
"Did he beat you?" he grasped my shoulders as he asked worriedly.
"No he wouldn't hurt me," I argued back.
Tony threw his head back as he scoffed as he walked away from me to the ledge as he slammed his hands down on it.
Tony please listen to me I will tell you everything but please listen," I grabbed his arm as I looked at begging.
He looked at me for a while then dropped his head sighing then back at me, "Okay, explained to me how you are dating Victor Creed."
I nodded as I then started to explain to him everything happened in Las Vegas from what I was doing, June's wedding, Victor, and Arron. I spilled my guts out to Tony to the very last detail from my horrible relationship with Arron to how I survived a gunshot wound to my head point blank. Tony already knew of my mutant powers and has been great at keeping it a secret because if he didn't I would really beat the crap out of him if he did. That's why I trust him with this. After an hour explaining, Tony downed the last of his drink saying he needed another but didn't leave me. He looked at me with his brown eyes as he shook his head.
"Emily I'm sorry you were put through all that, but what is it you want me to do?" Tony asked.
"I've been holding this is and it's been killing me that I can't tell know one or how I feel because I couldn't tell anyone. It's been eating at me to talk to someone but I didn't have anyone and I've felt so alone with this," tears started to form in my eyes as I talked. Tony grasped my face as his thumbs moved under my eyes to wipe the falling tears. "I don't' know what to do with him Tony, I miss him because I feel alone without him and happy when we see each other either on the phone or laptop. I'm still confused about what this Mate thing is as I've tried to find out what it is but nothing comes up. I don't know what to do anymore, it's been five months and I don't know if it will be five more months or a year if I will ever see him again."
Tony pulled me into his arms as I clutched his suit as the tears fell from my eyes as I shook but he never let go as he whispered soft comforts.
T-T-T-T-T-T-T-T-T-T-T-T-T-T-T-T-T-T-T-T-T-T-T-T-T-T-T-T-T-T-T-T-T-T-T-T
Tony cracked open the door of his hotel room as he watch Emily sleep in some spare cloths he brought with him. After what she told him at the party, it shocked the hell out of him but seeing her cry was something he hated even more. Taking her back to his hotel to talk more was insured with heavy drinking by Emily as Tony wanted to be sober for this kind of information. Hell Iron Man was still shocked after her drinking a large bottle Jack Daniels by herself and not get drunk was even more amusing to watch. Emily was a sweet girl, even as a mutant Tony didn't really care just that someone as sweet as her shouldn't be unhappy. Hell she even tried to get Pepper back with him but that ship has sailed. Closing the door quietly, Tony headed back into the large living area of his suite with a glass of vodka in hand a small glass as he sat down on the couch as the television was on silent and his laptop open in front of him. On his laptop was a picture of Victor with a profile that he had from going through S.H.I.E.L.D. files he took few years ago.
Tony has had a few encounters with the famous Schlächter and Tony was of course scared but he wasn't going piss his pants because of the feral could kill him with a flick of his wrist. Still Victor has a reputation that still keeps growing to this day. He was an assassin, a hire for kill to anyone with big bucks, and just some much it's a damn long list to name everything. Taking a sip of his drink, Tony looked at the television still muddling over the information about him and Emily meeting and the sex. Shaking his as he felt gross about thinking the two then chugged the last of vodka. Sighing, turned the tv off Tony laid back on the sofa with a pillow he took from the room while Emily has the rest of the bedroom. Using the remote to turn off the lights the suite has Tony tried to get comfortable but tomorrow he knew he had a phone call to make and wasn't going to be happy to make it.
