Oh my gosh! An update that quick?! Wow, I am on a role! This is more Maddian for you lovely reviewers, alerters and favouriteers.
"Wait, that's the way home." Maddy pointed behind her as Rhydian pushed her another direction away from school. She was well enough to go back but ever since her encounter with Alric, she had been extra cautious.
"I know." Rhydian simply stated.
"What about Tom and Shannon? We always wait for them." Maddy asked.
"Not today, we don't. They have their own thing." Rhydian smiled. Maddy got scared.
"Ok, where are we going?" She begged.
"You'll see, babe." Rhydian said. Maddy melted at his new nickname for her. He led her inside the woods. When they arrived, they saw Tom and Shannon standing to the sides. Tom played a little tune on his ukulele as Shannon bowed and led them to the table in between them. It had a vase with a rose inside on top of it.
"Welcome to your first date, sir and m'lady." Shannon grinned. Maddy gasped and put a hand over her mouth.
"Oh my gosh! You guys." She exclaimed, happily. Shannon giggled and hugged her.
"Today's dinner menu." She handed them the menu which had only one thing on it.
"Uh, we'll take the steak." Rhydian laughed.
"Good choice, sir. That's the only thing we have available." Tom said, going behind a tree and collecting two plates and laying them out in front of them.
"Quick service." Maddy teased. "I would like-" She got cut off by Shannon giving them both chocolate milkshakes. "Read my mind!" She stuck her tongue out at her.
"No... it was the only beverage we got." Shannon said, sticking her own tongue out back. "Now, we'll just be over there. A couple of metres away while Tom plays a sweet tune on his incredibly pink ukulele." Shannon smiled.
"Hey! It's my mum's!" He retorted, being dragged away by Shannon.
...
Rhydian and Maddy finished their dinner, laughing about a joke he had made. They stopped laughing when Jana appeared next to them. "Apparently, to apologise, I have to be your waitress for the rest of the night because Tom and Shannon need to get home. So, desert is served." She introduced, laying out a big chocolate sundae for the couple. "Enjoy." She smiled and walked back behind the tree.
"So... we're going to forgive her?" Maddy asked, quietly. Rhydian shrugged.
"It's up to you. Her father hates her now so we're probably the only ones she has left." Rhydian sighed.
"I forgive her." Maddy whispered. "And I love her hair. It's just so fiery!" They laughed. "Thanks for an amazing night." She said, digging into the sundae with him.
"Thanks for being my girlfriend, Mads." Rhydian grinned at her. He kissed her and stroked her cheek, leaving a trail of chocolate on it. Maddy gasped and stood up.
"Hey!" She giggled. She dipped her whole hand into the bowl and wiped it on his face, down his neck, to his shirt. Rhydian stood up, feigning mock horror.
"My favourite top! I wore this just for our date!" He gasped, feigning hurt. Maddy pouted and kissed him.
"I'm sorry, sweetie. I just love revenge." She teased.
"Got that right." Rhydian said as he flicked some chocolate ice on her. She gasped and giggled, doing the same to him.
"I really like you." Maddy said as they fell back on the ground and watched the sky above them.
"I really like you, too." Rhydian said, kissing her again.
Awww, their first date! Did you like that?
