A/N: Hi guys! Guess who is resurrected from being lazy! (lol) So sorry to all my dear readers that I couldn't update for so long because I'm busy with my finals. But guess what~ I'm currently having my holiday and I will try my best to keep this story alive again! (woohoo!)

It is already 12:00am but there is still a glimpse of light coming from one room and it's none other than Orihime's room. She is busy studying her worst subject which is chemistry. She have been studying for more than 2 hours and still could not solve more than 10 questions. "Urgh! This topic is just as hard as the previous one.. ! I wonder if I will be able to score in my upcoming exam! " Orhime feel fustrated and scratch her head.
As she lie her head down on the table, she feel a sharp pain coming from her nose. "OWH! ! " she scream as she cling onto her nose tightly. "I totally forgot that my nose is injured.. ! " she is reminded of her injured nose when the pain still lingers.
"Orihime.. !? " Toshiro who are trying to get some rest could hear Orihime scream on the other side of the room. He quickly get on his feet and dash off toward to Orihime's room. "Did a Hollow or Arrancar attacked her? " A lot of possibility keep flashing on his mind as he make his way to her room. "Orihime.. ! " He shouted as he slam open Orihime's room door.
"T-T-Toshi.. kun.. ? " She gasp and cover her nose as she turn around to face Toshiro.
"What happened? Did an Arrancar or Hollow attacked you? " He asked as he approach toward to Orihime and look around the room for signs of Arrancar or Hollow.
Orihime shook her head. "N-no.. ? " She could feel some liquid flowing through her hand as she cling onto her nose. "E-eh.. ? What is it that is flowing out of my nose.. ? D-don't tell me it's mu- "
"Your nose is.. bleeding. " Toshiro raised an eyebrow and quickly reach out for the box of tissues on Orihime's study table. He handed some tissues to Orihime as he wipe off the blood that have been dripped on the floor.
"Thank you.. " Orihime feel extremely embarrassed and wipe off the blood on her hand and nose clumsily.
"I think it's best if you lie down on your bed to prevent it from bleeding further. " He said as he help Orihime get to her bed. "Matsumoto used to put a wet towel on my forehead whenever I have nosebleed last time. Guess it really helped for me. " He thought to himself as he unintentionally stare at Orihime. "W-wait here. " He mutters as he leave and head off to the bathroom.
"E-eh.. ? " Orihime watch as Toshiro leave. "W-what is Toshi-kun planning to do? " She imagine all sorts of things Toshiro is going to do to her. She quickly shook her head to dismiss all the weird thought when she notice Toshiro come back with a wet towel in hand. He approach toward to her and put the wet towel on her forehead.
"Putting a wet towel on your forehead will prevent from further bleeding. Just lie down still and don't move. " Toshiro instructed as he clean up the tissues on the floor and desk.
"T-Toshi.. kun.. t-thank you. " Orihime stutters on her words slightly as she look at Toshiro from the corner of her eyes.
"No need to thank me. I'm just doing what everyone else would do. Anyway.. Why are you still awake in this hour? Isn't there class tomorrow? " Toshiro questioned. He usually doesn't bother about other people's business like asking them this question but he hate awkward silence even more so he choose to ask.
"Y-yes.. There is a small test for Chemistry and I can't get the last formula into my mind. So I thought I should get it memorize before I go to bed. After studying and doing exercise for 2 hours, I still have no luck in remembering it. " Orihime reply sadly. Toshiro take a glance at her chemistry book and scan through the formula. He sighed and furrowed his eyebrows.
"It's not really that hard to remember. I'll simplify the formula for you to let you understand better. " He write down the simplify formula with godspeed. Orihime blinked hard as she watch Toshiro write. "There. You should go to bed now and go through the formula tomorrow. Besides, if you get up now, your nose is going to start bleeding again. Good night. " Toshiro said as he make his way to the door.
"W-wait.. ! T-Toshi-kun. " Orihime gesture Toshiro to come to her side and blush slightly. He arched his eyebrow and look at Orihime curiously before making his way toward to her.
"What is i- " before he could finish his sentence, Orihime grab his shirt's collar and pull him close to her. She hesitated for a moment but soon make up her mind and land a kiss on Toshiro's left cheek. Unable to catch up with what is going on, Toshiro feel his face start to heat up. He quickly pull himself away from Orihime as he touch his left cheek and look at her with widen eyes. "W-what are you d-doing.. !? " He stutter on his word and feel his heartbeat have risen up. He have never been kissed by someone before, not even his close friend Hinamori. Even his lieutenant Matsumoto who always torture him have never gone that far.
"I.. I just want to.. thank you.. f-for everything, Toshi-kun. I-I'm sorry. " Orihime said as she quickly cover her flush red face. "Was kissing Toshi-kun a wrong move? What if Toshi-kun stay away from me because of this? I just want to show him my gratitude for everything he have done for me. But still.. I-I'm such an idiot! " She cursed herself silently.
"Y-you.. really. A simple thank you would be enough, you know. " Still flustered, he sighed. But deep down inside him, the image of Orihime kissing him keep repeating and he can't seems to calm down his rapid heartbeat. "I-it's just a kiss, Toshiro. It's not a big deal. " He keep reminding himself as he try to keep cool.
"A-alright.. Thank.. you. " Orihime mumbled, still covering her face.
"Good night. " Toshiro blurted as he switch off the room light and leave her room. After closing the door behind him, he felt his leg give in all of a sudden and sat down on the floor as his back lean against the door. "Orihime, what were you thinking when you k-kissed me that moment? " One of his hand cling onto his head and the other one cling onto his chest as he blush furiously.
Back in Soul Society Gotei 13, 11th Division, three human figures can be seen lying on the ground breathing heavily. It's none other than Madarame, Ayasegawa and Yachiru. They finally ended their chasing and a big lump can be seen on Yachiru's head. "Ouch! That hurt so much, you idiot! " Yachiru yelled at Madarame as she touch the lump on her head.
"That serves you right! Who ask you to bit me anyway!? " Madarame hissed as he catch his breath.
"Because your forehead look so yummy, baldy! Yachiru couldn't hold back her desire to taste it! " She yelled again.
"Then suffer your consequences for doing it! I'll make sure to make it a double lump if you dare bite my head again! " Madarame said as he shoot a deadly glance at Yachiru.
"Why am I even in this mess anyway? If they happen to chase each other because of this again, I better stay aside and enjoy tea and watch them play around rather than following them. " Ayasegawa thought to himself miserably as he catch his breath. Kira who have been planning to ask them if Zaraki is in, withdraw the questioning as soon as he saw the three bodies lying on the ground. As he decided to retreat, Ayasegawa saw him. "Kira? What are you doing here? " He said as he get up slowly.
"O-oh, good day to you, Ayasegawa. I uh.. it's nothing. " Kira said nervously.
"You couldn't possibly be taking a stroll here right? Just spit it out. " Madarame groans and touch his head.
"W-well, I just want to ask if Zaraki-Taicho is in. I was asked to pass him this pile of paperwork by Unohana-Taicho. She said it's something urgent and need him to go through it as soon as possible. " Kira said as he show them the pile of paperwork he have been hiding behind his back.
"Since it's something urgent, you should have said so sooner! Zaraki is out doing some errands. He should be back by tonight. " Madarame replied.
"Why not give the paperwork to me? I'll pass it to him as soon as he return. " Ayasegawa offer with a smile.
"R-really? I can leave it to you? " Kira questioned.
"If you trust me, then you can leave it to me. " Ayasegawa reach out his hand to Kira, waiting for him to hand him the pile of paperwork.
"Thank you so much, Ayasegawa.. ! " Kira quickly hand him the pile of paperwork and bow. "I-I'll be on my way now. I'll see you guys around th- " before he can finish his sentence, Madarame interrupts him.
"Since we are doing a favour for you, we are anticipating to get a free sake party from you, Kira! " Madarame grin evilly.
"Alright.. " Kira respond sadly. "Of course, I should have known they would request me to treat them in return of helping me. Guess my wallet is gonna feel a lot more lighter after that. " He cries quietly in his heart as he leave.
"Yoohoo! Let's drag him to sake party as soon as we past those troublesome paperwork to Zaraki! " Madarame said happily.
"You bet. " Ayasegawa smiled. After a few moments later..
"ARGH! ! " Madarame yelped as he cling onto his throbbing head. Yachiru have done it once again, taking a mouthful bite on Madarame's head. "That's it! You're so gonna get DOUBLE lump on your HEAD! " He yelled as he chase after Yachiru, who have been running away from them happily.
"Baldy can't catch me~ Baldy can't catch me~ " Yachiru chant while laughing at Madarame.
"Here they go again.. Guess I got no choice but to tag along AGAIN. " Ayasegawa sighed and chase after them.
While in Karakura Town, it is already 7:30am in the morning and Orihime can be seen sitting near the study table analysing the formula Toshiro wrote down for her yesterday night. "Oh, so this is how the formula works.. ! " She nodded as she goes through the formula. "Toshi-kun's formula is so much easier to understand compare to the formula my teacher gave me. " She thought to herself as she think of Toshiro. She felt her face slightly heated up just by thinking of him.
"Hime-chan~ Good morning! Are you going to prepare breakfast for us today? " Matsumoto peer her head inside Orihime's room as she ask her cheerfully. Orihime quickly snap out of her thinking and turn to look at Matsumoto as soon as she heard her voice.
"Oh, good morning to you too, Rangiku-san. Yes, I'm going to prepare breakfast now. Please give me 10 minutes and I'll get the breakfast ready. " Orihime replied with a nervous smile.
"Okay~ I'm looking forward to the yummy breakfast you're going to prepare for us! " Matsumoto said as she head to the living room.
"Alright, time to start the day with preparing breakfast! " Orihime stretch her arms and leave her room. As she make her way toward to the kitchen, she saw Toshiro standing by the balcony, staring at the sky with deep thoughts in his mind. "Umm.. G-good morning, Toshi-kun. " She approach toward to Toshiro and greeted him with a bright smile. Toshiro snap back to his sense as soon as he heard Orihime's voice.
"Oh.. Good morning to you too, Orihime. " Toshiro replied as he fight hard to prevent his face from blushing. He still have yet to get the event out of his mind no matter how hard he try.
"You don't look so good. You didn't get enough sleep yesterday? " She asked worriedly.
"I'm alright. Don't worry about it. " Toshiro blurted as he adverted his gaze. He knows that he is going to blush if he keep his gaze on her any longer. Anyway, he have no intention to tell her that he have been staying awake the whole night unable to sleep because of her.
"O-okay.. I-I'm going to prepare breakfast now. Please wait for awhile. " She quickly retreat from the balcony and head off toward to the kitchen. "I wonder if Toshi-kun still mind the kiss I gave him yesterday. " She thought to herself as she steal a glance at Toshiro.
"Tsk.. Stop thinking about it already! She do it just because she want to thank me for helping her all this while. It have no special meaning anyway. " His heart start to pound again just by thinking back how soft Orihime's lips is. He quickly shook his head as he try to regain his composure. Matsumoto who have been observing both Toshiro and Orihime, chuckled by the living room.
"It seems like the flower between the two of them is going to bloom soon~ I mean, look at how flustered my Taicho is~ Ooh, I'm so looking forward to how Taicho is going to give that doll to Hime-chan~ Ohohohoho! " Matsumoto thought to herself, feeling extremely excited.
