Alright here's another chapter. I had to slow down due to finals and no classes to write my fics in. WWE owns all you know, Phil Brooks, Mike Brooks, and Phil's adoptive family owns themselves, I own everything else. Enjoy!

Jessica's POV – 3 Months Later – Late Fall/Early Winter

I waddled down the halls of my law office, on my way to the bathroom for the 10th time this hour. After the whole ordeal finally being put behind me, I decided I could work again and I would work up until the baby comes.

"We should move your office to the bathroom." A deep voice said behind me. I stopped and turned to face my brother in law.

"I wouldn't object, the baby is sitting on my bladder." I said. I was now six months pregnant and all of the "joys" of pregnancy were really kicking in.

"Only three more months." He said, starting to walk with me.

"I can't wait." I said smiling, "I'm over being big."

"Just think," Randy started, "You're going to get bigger." He finished laughing.

"Oh shut up!" I said, playfully pushing him.

"Jeez, pregnancy has made you violent." He said laughing, "So how's life with Phil and just Phil?" he asked changing gears. I smiled, life with Phil was great. He was an excited Daddy and we no longer had to plan when we'd see each other

"Life with Phil is perfect." I said smiling, "Everything is just so much easier now."

"You guys are normal now." He said.

"We are." I said, arriving at the bathroom.

"Hey, I'll see you later and take it easy." He said.

"Will do." I said smiling and entering the bathroom. I did my business and waddled back to my office and sat down to review another case. Just as I got really involved in it my speaker crackled to life.

"Ms. Stern, line one." I pressed the button for line one and spoke.

"Orton, Orton and Stern, Jessica Stern speaking."

"Hey baby." Phil's voice came through, "How you doing today?" I smiled.

"Hi sweetheart, other than frequent trips to the bathroom I'm doing okay."

"Baby still hasn't moved?" he asked.

"Nope, so how are you doing babe?" I asked him.

"I'm lonely." He said, a pout could be heard in his voice. Phil and I decided to spend last night apart, in an attempt to keep normal dating up.

"Go see Colt." I said.

"I'm not that kind of lonely." He said.

"Then what kind of lonely are you?" I asked, a small smile on my lips.

"The kind of lonely that only my lady could get rid of." He said. I laughed.

"I still have another four hours." I said.

"I know, but I spoke to Daniella and she said you could leave early, plus I want to take you out." He said.

"Babe, that's sweet and all but can't we just stay home?" I asked.

"Nope."

"And why is that?"

"Because I have front row tickets to the Hawks gameeee." He said, a little bit of a whine in his voice.

"You want to take your six month pregnant girlfriend to a hockey game?" I asked.

"You've gone before!" he said.

"Not pregnant!"

"Technically you were, we just didn't know." He had taken me to the final game of the cup, when they won.

"But I won't fit in my jersey." I said.

"I got you a new one. It's special too, come on!" he begged, I knew I'd have to cave.

"Fine, when am I supposed to leave?" I asked him.

"Now." He said, opening my office door. I smiled and stood up, walking over for him to pull me into a breath taking kiss.

"Well aren't you slick." I said smiling when we broke apart.

"I try." He said, placing another kiss on my lips, "Now let's go." He said.

"Hold on I need to finish this last file and then we can go." I said leaving his embrace and heading back to my desk. He took at seat in one of the chairs set up across from my desk, as he had done so many times before during our desperate times. He sat their patiently as I reviewed the case and made my notes.

"I forgot about your surprise!" he said, reaching for the bag he had placed on the floor when he walked in. I looked up at him closing the file, realizing I'd need a lot more time to review it. He placed the bag in front of me and I pulled out its contents. There were two, home game Blackhawk jerseys. Both sported the number 13. I flipped them over and let out a laugh as my eyes teared up a bit. One said Daddy while the other said Mommy.

"Babe…" I said looking up at him.

"You like them?" he asked, smiling.

"I love them!" I said leaning over my desk to kiss him full on the lips.

"I brought you comfier pants too." He said lifting another bag.

"I love you." I said, taking the Mommy jersey and the pants and headed for the bathroom to change.

"I've seen you naked you know." He called out to me over my choice of place to change.

"Yeah, but there's no place to pee in here!" I heard him laugh as I went to go change. I came back quickly to see him sporting his Daddy jersey and smiled.

"I love it." I said.

"I love you." He said taking my face in his hands and placing a kiss on my lips. I closed out the rest of my programs and walked out hand and hand with Phil. He opened the door to his car and helped me in before going around himself. It was too cold to take the walks we once did. In minutes we arrived at the Madhouse and Phil walked me to our seats by the glass.

"Babe…" I said. This was the first game he had taken me to all season. He had been taking Colt due to my horrible bouts with the worst morning sickness that loved to last all day.

"I decided I want to be up close and personal this season." He said, referring to his season ticket choice. Phil and I enjoyed the game as we both got really into it. The baby enjoyed the game too as every time the Hawks scored, he or she kicked. The game went by quickly and the Blackhawks beat St. Louis 3-1. Phil and I walked back to the car and he brought up a heavy topic.

"So when the baby's born we'll live in my house." He declared.

"What, why yours?" I asked.

"Because its bigger." He said.

"What if I don't want to move out of my place?" I asked.

"I didn't ask what you wanted." He said.

"Why can't we discuss this Phil?" I asked, as he drove to his house.

"Because there is nothing to discuss babe, we don't need to decorate two nurseries and there is no way my kid is going from house to house." He said.

"You're right Phil, there is nothing to discuss. The baby will stay with me and my place in its one nursery and you can come visit so they won't have to go from house to house." I said, as he parked the car.

"Well I already started decorating that one nursery the baby will have, which is in my house." He said as he got out of the car. I huffed in frustration as I opened my own door and pulled myself out. Doesn't Phil know not to piss off a pregnant woman?

I followed him up the stairs ready to keep fighting when I was stopped in my tracks.

"SURPRISE!" was yelled as I looked around the room. My sister, Daniella and her husband, Randy, AJ, Nick, Colt, Natalie, a bunch of lawyers from the office, and Phil's sisters were all smiling at me, as was Phil. There was a giant banner that said "Baby Brooks' Baby Shower" behind them and another poster that had a baby picture of Phil and I with the baby's latest sonogram underneath. My hand flew to my mouth as a few tears slipped down my cheeks.

"Surprised baby?" Phil asked, as he wrapped an arm around my shoulders and kissed my temple. All I did was nod. AJ came over and hugged me as she lead me over to a large decorated chair. Little finger foods were passed around as everyone talked and laughed with each other. After about an hour AJ spoke up.

"It's time to open gifts!" She squealed. Her and Daniella walked over to the gift table and started a system. I began to open them all as Phil and I ooed and ahhed at car seats, strollers, and the bedroom set. We got loads of bottles and diapers and a lot of tiny little baby clothes. Phil even got a Daddy Toolbelt, armed with bottles, pacifiers, and teething toys.

"Phil are you ready to give yours?" AJ asked him. He nodded and turned to me.

"Baby, you are giving me the best gift I could ever receive. I will forever be in your debt and nothing I ever do will ever compare to you carrying my child, but I will keep trying until the day I die." He started, pulling a small flat box from his pocket, "Jessica, I love you…will you move in with me?" he asked, opening the box and revealing a newly copied key to his house with a heart keychain. I looked up at him as he smiled big. He knew what he was doing the whole time. He knew I couldn't say no in front of everyone.

"Absolutely." I said forcing a smile. Everyone clapped as Phil leaned down to me kissing my sweetly. Cake and other desserts were brought out as everyone went back to their conversations. I excused myself, saying I had to use the bathroom as I escaped to Phil's…our bedroom. I sat down on the bed as the tears flowed freely from my eyes. After a bit AJ walked in.

"Hey, are…Jessica…are you okay?" she asked concerned. I said nothing as I tried to wave her away.

"Hold on, I'll get Phil." I tried to stop her but she darted out of the room before I could. Within a few moments Phil walked through the door.

"What's wrong?" he asked innocently.

"You know what's wrong. How could you Phil? In front of everyone?" I asked.

"Baby, I couldn't let you say no." he said.

"You mean like how I did in the car?" I asked. He stayed silent, "You know if you didn't demand that I have to give up my place, maybe I wouldn't have such a problem with this. If you would have avoided the conversation in the car, and just done what you did out there I would have said yes, happily. You blind sighted me Phil." I said, more tears falling. "You promised so much to me out there and you're moving in the opposite direction." Phil opened his mouth to speak when the door opened.

"Is everything okay?" Natalie asked, poking her head in.

"Yeah, just give us a moment." Phil told her.

"Okay, but people are looking to leave." She said.

"Okay," he told her, "Stay here babe, I'll tell everyone you don't feel well but you appreciate everything." I watched him leave the room as I thought about all the ways I could get away from him. I got up and walked down the hall when I saw his office door cracked open. I pushed it open and started crying all over again.

The walls had been repainted to a chocolate brown on the bottom with the top still white. There were two squares on one wall, one of a pale blue and one of a pale pink. The crib that was in the picture that his sisters had given me was already in the room as well as the rocking chair.

"Babe?" I turned around to see Phil walking towards me, "I see you found my little project." He said looking around.

"Yes I'll move in with you." I said crying.

"You already said yes." He said with a chuckle.

"No, now it's yes for real." He pulled me into his arms and kissed the top of my head.

"Damn pregnancy mood swings." He said.

"Don't kill it Phil." I said into his chest as he burst out a loud laugh.
Next chapter, could be a certain arrival! Let me know if you think Phil and Jessica will have a boy or a girl! And is the couple finally out of any possible drama? Hope you liked it!
