Naruto didn't know what he should expect from Hinata. It had been a bit weird for him to not only find out that Hinata was a vampire that gave blood, but him being a descendent to a demon that had been said to have vanished centuries ago. He didn't think that it would have been possible but it would make some sense now wouldn't it?

How he could always smell things so much easier, how he could see things better than other people. Though he didn't think that he would have turned into a full blown demon from being in contact with a vampire that wanted to erase his memory. "If only this was a dream." He said mostly to himself as he pushed himself up and out of bed. Looking around, Naruto saw that his mother was gone; maybe she had gone back to looking for a job.

Taking a deep breath, the young man walked to the bathroom to get himself washed up. As he stripped down, he noticed the strange markings on his skin were pulsing with a light red glow. Sighing softly, the young man didn't know what this meant, though what he did know was that these markings were some sort of symbol of his heritage. Hell, he was just thankful that they appeared when his mother didn't have to change him anymore.

Shaking his head, Naruto ran a hand through his blonde locks before making his way to the shower. Feeling the water run down his body, Naruto wondered how he would help Hinata. It wasn't like he knew how vampires worked or anything, hell he didn't even know how his powers worked. Only that he knew that if he was in any kind of danger, he would go into demon mode and attack anyone that threatened him.

Maybe he could use this as a chance to learn how to control his powers? Wait, were they called powers or just skills? 'Who cares… I just gotta learn how to use it instead of it using me…' thought Naruto as he started to lather up his hair… He was starting to run out of shampoo, maybe he should ask Iruka for more hours at work on the weekends…

Taking a deep breath, Naruto knew that today was going to be quite an odd day that was for sure. Yawning, Naruto finished up his shower and got dressed in his uniform before locking up his apartment and leaving.

Maybe he could learn to control some of his senses while he made his way to school. So far though he did know how to use his sense of smell and hearing, sadly though that was all he did know how to use. Frowning, Naruto didn't know how to control his strength at will as of yet since he is a great deal stronger than humans, and when he first transformed, he had noticed that his strength had increased. Crossing his arms, Naruto figured that because he hadn't had much time to train, it would be next to impossible for him to control his strength and new power… Maybe he could ask Hinata's parents to help him since they know a bit about his ancestor…

Shaking his head, Naruto didn't know if that would be a good idea… What if he lost it again? Hell, he had a hard enough time just being around Hinata's one cousin… uh… what's his name, oh Neji! Yeah, Naruto still remembered when he first lost it when Neji had tried to erase his memories… the pain of his first transformation. It had felt like his bones had broke and reformed while trying to allow the nine swishing tails around from his tail bone.

Rubbing his temple, Naruto moaned as he said "why does this have to be so complicated?" taking a deep breath, the young demonic teen tried to keep himself going to class. He'll have to deal with his problems. Hell, he'd have to try to use his free time to learn how to use them.

Crossing his arms, Naruto's thoughts soon drifted to the painting from art class. The picture of the man with long red hair and someone that looked similar to Hinata. The way the man had stared at the woman held so much love and adoration. It was something that Naruto never knew would be possible for anyone to stare at someone though, for some reason… he felt a great pain of betrayal surge through his very core.

Leaning into a tree, Naruto tried to get his bearings straight. This was a strange feeling, he had just suddenly felt hatred for all vampires but, that didn't make sense. Taking a sharp intake of breath, Naruto tried to get himself to calm down. He just had to remember that not all vampires are bad, they're just like humans though they need blood to survive, unlike Hinata… she was pretty much like a human from what he had seen.

Inhaling deeply one last time, the young man pushed himself away from the tree and started to head on toward the school. Maybe if he kept his mind on helping Hinata with some notes that she missed from that time she was avoiding him it would keep his mind off of the weird feeling that had washed over him moments ago.

'Just relax Naruto; you're not losing your mind. You're just… adjusting to your new demonic status…' thought Naruto hoping, praying, that, that was all it was.

Yawning, Naruto sat in the library as he waited for Hinata. Wondering where the blue haired vampire could be. It was rather puzzling, did she sleep in or was it something else? Shaking his head, the young man just started to flip through the pages of a random book that he had brought with him. Maybe he could find something on his ancestor, something that could give him a hint as to what kind of power he would have.

Frowning, the young man kept on flipping through the book. Nothing was here, yet another book that had little, to nothing about his ancestor. This of course had started to bother Naruto to a new degree, something he hated more than anything (besides being broke) was not knowing about anything that was around him.

Narrowing his eyes, Naruto couldn't stand this. Why did he have to live a life surrounded by mysteries?! "Damn it…" growled Naruto, suddenly, he felt a breeze falling through the library. Frowning, he lifted his head and looked around the room. Was there an open window somewhere? Shrugging, he thought nothing of it since there was nothing wrong with a breeze. Hell, he rather enjoyed a nice breeze.

"Uzumaki-kun!" shouted a new voice, causing Naruto to look up and saw Hinata rushing into the library. By the look of the dark circles under her eyes and the slightly messy hair, it was easy to assume that she had slept in. Oh well, maybe she had trouble sleeping last night, at least from everything that had been going on lately. So, Naruto did the polite thing and waved at her. Sometimes, Naruto wondered how he became friends with a vampire… Oh right, because he was tracking her or following her around. Whichever works really. "I hope I didn't keep you waiting Uzumaki-kun…" whispered Hinata with a small tint of pink to her cheeks.

Naruto gave Hinata his trade mark grin as he said "nah, I didn't wait long. I was mostly day dreaming to myself." Seeing Hinata's confused frown, Naruto knew that she was worried about him. After all, Naruto was still new to the paranormal world so it was understandable that she would worry about him. Waving off her concern, Naruto calmly said "don't worry Hinata. I'm adjusting to this okay… I'm just trying to figure out what I can do to be honest."

Seeing her nod, Hinata grabbed her notebook, as did Naruto so she could copy down his notes. The young man just stared at Hinata as he tried to think on what his powers would be. Thinking that staring at Hinata would somehow unlock it… Hell, maybe if would even tell him what about him caused Hinata's blood to increase to give her nosebleeds. It didn't make sense to him though for now it would have to remain a mystery because he couldn't figure it out.

"Naruto, what's this word here? Some of your hand writing is a little hard to read." Said Hinata in a confused tone of voice. Frowning, Naruto stood up and bent forward to get a better look at which word Hinata was having trouble reading. Maybe his writing wasn't as great as it should or could be, but he couldn't help it. He worries about gripping his pencil to hard and breaking it so his letters are a little messy. Looking down, Naruto failed to notice just how close he had become to Hinata…

Her face went bright red and she yelped. The sound of her voice so close to his ears caused Naruto to jump back, as did Hinata. His hands smashed against his ears hoping to get the ringing to stop. Growling softly, Naruto blinked his eyes after opening them and looked around. Only to see that Hinata was gone, as was the chair that she had been sitting on. Frowning, he placed his hands on the table and bent himself forward to get a view, wondering if she had fallen over.

And boy, did he get a view he had NOT been expecting from her.

Blushing red, Naruto got a view of her panties; he could feel the blood rushing to his face. Even though it had only lasted a few seconds with Hinata squealing and pushing her skirt down, Naruto turned around. Trying to ignore the ringing in his ears and the blood dripping from his nose. Taking a deep breath, he said "sorry, I didn't mean to startle you Hyuuga-chan, did I make your blood increase again?"

"A little bit… not a lot. You just have to stay a certain distance from me…" Hinata said as she slowly pushed herself up onto her shaky feet. Okay, he didn't know what kind of distance would be enough for her though it couldn't be that bad right?

Frowning a bit, Naruto reached into his pocket and pulled out some tissues to wipe his nose a bit of the blood. Once he was sure that it had been wiped completely off, he turned and stared at Hinata. "How far?" asked the young man with a frown.

"Four meters?"

Naruto just stood there for a moment as he tried to process that through his mind. Was he hearing her right or was his ears still hurting from her screaming just moments ago? Blinking his eyes a few times, Naruto dug his index finger into his ears for a moment, wondering if maybe his hearing was clogged instead before he thought it would be safe to ask her this, to confirm that what he thought she said was really what she said.

Inhaling deeply, he calmly said "did you say four meters or was I hearing things?" He tilted his head to the side, giving her a look that prayed that she was kidding. Looking at her, Naruto saw that she was giving him a nervous smile… Oh hell no. Narrowing his eyes at her, Naruto calmly said "Hinata, that isn't going to work. For crying out loud we go to the same school and work together! I don't plan to quit and I know you wouldn't with what you need at home!" Hinata just let out a sigh, maybe deep down she did know what she had been asking. Hell, he knew that it was already tough on them… her, having someone else know her secret, and him, finding out that his ancestor was once a very powerful demon.

This was going to be hard that was for sure. Naruto wanted to go over to Hinata and comfort her but he knew that he couldn't even do that. Closing his eyes, they both just stood there with a soft and gentle breeze washing over the both of them.

Once Naruto was walking after school was done for the day. Digging his hands into his pockets as he walked. Everything just seemed so strange and forging to him, it was as if he wasn't 'Naruto Uzumaki' anymore but some strange demon teen. Looking up, he saw a few bats flying through the air, making him wonder if those were vampire bats that belonged to Hinata's family, or if they were fruit bats. He couldn't really say for sure.

Running a hand through his hair, Naruto kept on walking though he heard a strange voice coming from his left. Turning his head, he saw a squirrel collecting some acorns. "Nuts, nuts, nuts, gotta have my nuts for winter!" Okay, he wasn't sure what the hell that was though he just shook his head and kept on walking… Maybe he was just slowly losing his mind right now… Yeah, that had to be it. He just had to be losing his mind and nothing more.

"Think that teen heard us? It was weird how he turned to Takai when no human ever notices him collecting nuts." said a bird, at least from when Naruto turned his gaze upward and saw two of them. Both were robins.

Staring with wide eyes, Naruto gulped for a moment before he backed up. "I… Did I just hear those birds talk?!" The birds turned their gaze onto Naruto and tilted their head. Did they understand him or was he just really losing his mind right now?!

"He understood us! Can you understand us just nod." said the bird to the left. All Naruto could do was nod his head, this was just too weird for him that he wanted to deny any of this that was what he wanted damn it! Though it seemed that his body just wouldn't comply too what he wanted. Without thinking to that, Naruto ran as fast as he could. Wanting to get as far away from this place as he could, but it seemed that the closer he got to his home, the further it became.

It was as if he was trapped in some unending tunnel. His fear and anger started to spike to new heights. Looking up, Naruto was blinded by leaves as they were blown into his face by a strong wind that had knocked him back onto his back. A loud smack echoed through the area… Naruto felt an explosion of pain splashing through the back of his head as darkness started to splotch itself at the edges of his vision. Before he knew it, Naruto had blacked out. Though, only one other thought went through his mind…

'What have I gotten myself into now…?'
