Chapter 11: Intertwined Fates

There was a bright light that shined into her eyes. She began to shift her body to a more comfortable position, but she struggled...as much as she tried she couldn't move. It was then that she took notice of the warmth against her back, and she then noticed a pair of arms wrapped around her waist. Suddenly all the events from the previous night flooded her head. Lightning decided to not be a bitch and punch Naruto for holding her so intimately. He did save her after all and she'd be lying if she said she didn't like the warmth of his body on her's. It was new to her, but it felt nice.

She chuckled 'I can just imagine Sarah's reaction if she saw me like this...she would probably try and get me to marry him. W-wait what am I saying.'

Lightning was taken out of her thoughts when she felt Naruto stir. Deciding that she should wake him up so they can try and regroup with everyone, she softly called to him as she gently shook him. Waking up his eyes slowly fluttered open, his cerulean eyes fell upon Lightning. "beautiful" naruto whispered low enough that Lightning didn't catch his words. "come on we have to meet up with the others" said Lightning. Naruto eyed Lightning for a few seconds and then he smiled.

"What are you looking at?" questioned Lightning...naruto simply smiled "How do your legs feel?" said naruto causing Lightning's eyes to widen "they don't hurt anymore." she said

"there's your explanation as to why I was holding you. "How did you manage to heal me" questioned lightning. I simply used my body to heal your legs and also there is no way I can say no to cuddling with a girl as beautiful as you." he said shyly. Lightning blushed hard "well I think we should get moving there is no telling how much more dangerous staying here can get." said Lightning with a hint of dominance in her tone. Naruto nodded in agreement "you're right I have a way to track the others down." he said as he sat in what seemed to be a meditation position. Lightning simply stared in awe as a golden energy surrounded his body.

Naruto felt sweep over by the amount of energy signatures around them, but that didn't affect him from finding his ex teammates signatures. He located the others as well but something was wrong and he couldn't pin point exactly what was bothering him. Lightning seeing Naruto's face take a troubled thinking visage made her inwardly question what was wrong. Just as Lightning was about to ask the blonde what was wrong his eyes shot wide open. He quickly grabbed Lightning and started to jump from tree to tree. Naruto looked back a lightning "listen Lightning I really need you to hang on tight. Wrap your arms and legs around me and keep you head against my back. I have to go faster cause if we don't we'll be too late" said Naruto.

Lightning didn't know what was going on, but she simply nodded and did as she was told. Suddenly Naruto jump down to the ground and started to increase his speed beyond Gai and Lee's level. Lightning felt like she was gonna slip off of Naruto from how fast he was going and the swift turns he was making didn't help either. Naruto made his signature hand sign and summoned a clone who suddenly rips Lightning off of him as he increases his speed even more.

With Sakura.

Clash after clash was herd throughout the area. Sakura found herself in a shitty position after she lost track of her group. In a clearing within the forest stood sakura and a unknown figure in gold knight armor. The knight had blood all over his armor but it wasn't his it was sakura's...the two had been fighting for over 30 minutes and within that amount time the knight manage to wound sakura beyond repair. 'I'm almost out of chakra and these wounds aren't helping. I have to put an end to him now before he can find the others.'

With that last thought Sakura charged forward. The knight seeing this swung his sword in a fluid horizontal motion but was taken by surprise when Sakura dodged the attack by baseball sliding under him, but she didn't stop there after sliding past him she immediately stood up and did a swift back flip over him which threw the knight off , and with the last of her strength she threw her final punch which made impact with the knights armored face. The force behind her attack caused the knight's head to fly off his body.

Without warning Sakura felt a sharp pain in her stomach. Looking down she took notice of the sword embedded in her, the weight of the sword caused it to slide down and slice three inches of her stomach open before the sword fell out of her. A dangerous amount of blood poured out of her wounds as she fell to the ground. Just as she was fading away she herd Naruto arrive and use his famous rasengan to finish the knight off for good.

After Naruto finished the knight off he quickly made his way to Sakura. He looked at her condition, he showed no emotions as he looked at her. Kneeling down beside her Naruto held her hand gently. Sakura weakly pulled out her last remaining kunai and gave it to Naruto. Who took the knife and held it, what Sakura did next caused him to gasp. She slowly grabbed his hand which held the kunai and put it against her throat.

"give me my judgment Naruto...I hurt you...I said terrible things to you...things that I wish I never said...I made you the person you are today and I am not proud of any of the pain I have caused you...neither do I expect you to spare me...I'm not asking for your forgiveness but, I want you to know that for those 5 years you were gone I have lived with the guilt of what I have done and said...kill me when your ready." said Sakura weakly as she closed her eyes finally allowing her tears to show. Naruto quickly recovered from his shock and spoke. "I did want to kill you...no not just you but everyone that ever shunned me away because of what I held in me." Naruto held a far away expression, and Sakura noticed how he said held. "Naruto what do you me held? what happened to the kyuubi?" Sakura asked.

Naruto forced his chakra to flow throughout his whole body. Suddenly the rest of the group entered the clearing. Upon arriving the group took instint notice of the bloody Sakura, Sasuke quickly rushed over to his teammates before anyone else could react. Naruto gently lifted Sakura up and pressed her against him. Sakura blushed at how close she was to naruto. "to answer your question...the kyuubi is dead. I unsealed him 4 years ago...after being trained by him for over a year I had made the decision to get rid of the very being that made my life a nightmare. He was the reason for people hating my existence so I got rid of his" Naruto paused.

Sasuke looked at Naruto in fear, the two made eye contact which only caused the others around them to tremble in fear due to the deadly look in his eyes. Naruto simply sighed "don't look at me with those damn eyes sasuke don't you think I've been hated enough already." Naruto said his voice nearly cracking. He suddenly felt a soft hand on his cheek. In surprise Naruto looked at Sakura her eyes held no fear but simply care and concern as she smiled "I don't hate you and I never have." Sakura said as she snuggled her head into his chest and waited for the pain to subside. The healing finished and Sakura stood up slowly.

"Lightning come here please" said Naruto. Lightning simply walked over and stood next to Sakura. "Okay you girls are the most fragile ones here so i'm going to seal some chakra in you both so if you get wounded it'll heal you." said Naruto as he began to channel his chakra "I'll place the seal on your stomachs"

Both nodded "brace yourself" whispered Naruto as he quickly struck both on their stomachs as the chakra entered them both of them the let out painful screams as they began to fall unconscious to the ground only to be caught by Naruto. He softly placed them down, "so what are we gonna do now seeing that they're both asleep now" said Kirito

"We gonna move out tomorrow so we'll set up camp here to night...Sasuke go scout for food with Kirito and Eren, I can take care of these two. It had been two whole hours that went by and sasuke had not returned with the others. Naruto sat against a tree as he watched over Sakura and Lightning. Patiently he sat and gathered natural energy he could sense Sasuke and Kirito, but Eren was nowhere to be found. He then sensed a strong energy approaching him. Naruto quickly jumped into stance as a black Knight entered the clearing. The Knights Armor was black with gold trims and diamonds he held a black steel Great Sword. Naruto stood up and walked towards his enemy trying to keep him away from the girls.

"I'll kill you for what you did to my friend." said the Knight in a deep tone filled with a lot of killer intent. Naruto looked at the Knight and laughed "your far too weak to kill me." They both disappeared only to reappear while clashing swords Naruto held a blade of lightning chakra. Once again they both sped off only getting faster. Clash after Clash was herd, both tossed their swords aside as they began to exchange blows. The Knight threw a furious upper cut in which Naruto quickly side dashed his opponent throwing all of his body weight into his left hook he hit the Knight straight in his armored face. Naruto felt the skin on his knuckles rip as hand made impact with the diamonds on the helmet, but he had no time to feel pain their lives were on the line. The Knight got up slowly and took off his damaged helmet.

"boy this gonna be fun" said the Knight as his hazel colored hair came into view. Naruto took in his appearance, his hair reminded him of his father accept that his father hair was even on both sides unlike the person in front of him who had one side going down to his back. The knight looked at Naruto "so what's your name" said the knight. Naruto understood what the knight was doing. He was honored to fight someone strong. "the name is Naruto...Naruto Namikaze" he said proudly

the Knight nodded "I'm Tamashi Saito."

Both gave each other a nod Tamashi charged at the Uzumaki in blinding speeds throwing a right obsidian covered fist. Naruto dodged the right but was hit with a fast elbow. On impact the obsidian shattered over his face leaving shards piercing his face. Naruto dropped to his knee, Breathing heavily he took his stance once more as his shinigamigan took shape in his eyes. Tamashi cocked his head back in amusement "whats up with those eyes of yours?." Naruto simply disappeared, reappearing above his enemy thrusting his rasengan at his opponents head, but Tamashi swiftly countered Naruto and delivered a hard kick to the ribs. Naruto spit blood out from his mouth.

Tamashi again kick the blond in the ribs which led to them breaking and puncturing his lungs. Naruto spit out more blood as help took his stance again. Tamashi stole a glance at Lightning And Sakura and smirked. Naruto glared down the Knight. He closed his eye and calmed his harsh breathing suddenly the ground around Naruto began to crumble and defy gravity. Tamashi's eyes widened 'how is this possible his energy is continuing to expand. I have to put an end to him soon' both engaged each other in hand to hand combat once again each blow creating shock waves.

Sakura slowly opened her eyes, the clear sky invaded her view suddenly she felt a shock wave. Turning to the source of commotion...her eyes began to tear up as she witnessed Naruto get stabbed in his chest by a sword. Sakura shot up to her feet "Naruto!" she screamed, the desperation eminent in her voice. "Stay back I can handle this" said Naruto as he held Tamashi in place. Sakura clutched her chest as she watched the battle rage on. Naruto instantly appeared behind Tamashi and delivered a lightning styled rasengan which shredded the armor and tore a hole in Tamashi allowing Naruto's arm came out the other side. 'looks like I have to wrap this up or I'm gonna die.'

Tamashi stood up as his body was slowly being cloaked with obsidian, but suddenly it crumbled away " I have to give you credit for actually injuring me through my armor...That's a feat most people I fight have never been able to say" said the Knight. In one fluid motion Naruto sliced Tamashi in half with his wind chakra, The blood of his enemy showered his. Naruto's Breathing became harsh and unforgiving as he began to cough up blood. Sakura seeing this made a B line for the Uzumaki. The life in eyes began to fade, Sakura began to try and save him, but nothing was working. "Sakura just let it happen" Naruto said softly "like hell I'm gonna let you die...words can't express how much you mean to me Naruto...I need you to always be there. Your and Sasuke are my family...I love you both too much."

Naruto simply looked off into the sky and then Sakura. He stared at her and softly smiled "It means a lot to me to hear you say that...you know I forgave you a long time ago, but the thing is that I can never forget...or at least now I can." with those being his last word the last bit of life faded from his eyes.

Ouch Now I know you guys are gonna hate me after that messed up cliffhanger but it had to be done. Okay so I want you guys to know that I wanted to do more with this chapter but I felt like you all waited to long and yes its short. Guys I write short chapters kinda like the way how they are on some books where one chapter has like 6 pages hell this chapter here was 8 pages. I know its short but with the little bit of time I have these day writing the crazy 10k+ chapters would take me forever like seriously guys I don't type fast either so I'd say it would take me about 4 months to write a chapter that long with the little time I have so I'll just have to write short ones so I can keep this fanfic updated more often.

Okay now congratulations to the haters. Honestly I seen all those negative guest review and It made me feel sad that someone took there time to make up different names just to put this story down. Listen guys I know my writing isn't great and the story is all over the place but I will be fixing all of that once I finish it. From chapter 1 to whatever chapter this story ends on I will be editing it all I might change somethings and even remove things. Now fun part about that is that you readers who actually enjoy this story are gonna help me with that but I'll tell you about that another time. Now for those who thought this was a NaruSaku story i'm sorry guys this story never really had a paring just Drama and Angst between the famous team 7 once I added the crossover idea then I decided to add a pairing.

Now I am a NaruIno fan to be honest but off course that was never going to happen and we lost the war to NaruHina fans on the manga, but thank god for fanfiction right? There is too many NaruSaku fics. That is the main reason why it's not a NaruSaku and my reason to not making it NaruIno was because Ino didn't play an important role in this story along with the fact that most of the story centers around the team 7 members. As for me choosing Lightning for the pairing well I thought it would be a much more cuter pairing seeing that they are both stubborn also guys if you all think that it's not a good pairing then go check out Legend of the Defiers by Gravenimage. He is the reason why I am now a NaruLight fan lol (also I actually love the Final Fantasy series and I have to say that FFXIII was a pretty good Game and I thought that Lightning was a pretty cool character and FFXV looks amazing gus check it out.) after reading Legend of the Defiers there is noway you cannot like the NaruLight pairing. Well let me quit my babbling Tsunayoshi out.
