The day that Cresselia has dreaded has arrived. IT'S TIME FOR PRINCESS CRESSELIA TO BE WED TO PRINCE DEOXYS! However; I want to comfort you in say that Deoxys will kiss his bride, but not in the way he wants to.

Faithless Wedding

(Cresselia POV)

Cresselia woke to the sound of a loud knocking on her door. She lazily rolled in her bed.

"What?" She asked lazily.

"Lady Cresselia, it's time to get ready," a female voice came from behind the door.

"Ready?" Cresselia asked herself. Then she remembered what day it was. Dread filled her. It was the wedding day. Cresselia sighed and got out her bed. The depressing realization hit her like a cannon. She felt all energy fly from her. She looked to the corner of her room and saw a beautiful white wedding dress prepared for her. The blouse portion of the dress was decorated with sown images of flowers and stars. The long white silk sleeves lead to a large puffed shoulder cover and turtleneck. A pair of sky blue slippers had been placed at the bottom of the dress. The color reminded her of Darkrai's eyes. She sighed again and started to put on the dress. A pair of servants let themselves into the room and started to braid Cresselia's long blond hair into two long braids on either side of her head. They moved them so the braids draped over her shoulders and hung in front of her shoulders. Cresselia moved her hand and quickly tucked her moon necklace into the turtleneck.

"Isn't this so exciting my lady!?" one of the servants asked.

"Yeah, so thrilled," Cresselia sighed in a sarcastic tone.

"Why so down Princess? Don't you want a good husband?" the other asked.

"Yes, but not Deoxys," Cresselia said.

"What do you mean? Prince Deoxys is a fine young man with many great qualities," the first servant stated.

"If you include being perverted, crude, deceitful, and abusive as 'great qualities,' then you're dead right," Cresselia stated, managing to put some menace in her voice.

Just then Arceus came into her room.

"Are you almost done?" He immediately asked. The servants got Cresselia to stand up and put on her slippers. They grabbed some powder and got to work on makeup.

"We just need to do her makeup and we'll be ready," they reported. Arceus nodded and left. Cresselia sighed and let them continue without another word.

(Sasha's POV)

The Dark Rapidash thrashed around her pen. She knew she needed to be somewhere other than this. Her master's mate needed her, she could feel it. A voice in her mind had told her to be at the white castle. The chain that held the pen closed started to shake and move. A few more bashes and it fell. The pen door flew open.

Sasha charged out of the metal pen. She saw the man that fed her in her way. She hurtled over him when he quickly fell to the ground. A trail of fire ignited behind her as she ran at full speed. She needed to be at the white castle, and she needed to be there now. She heard her caretaker screaming after her then yelling that she was out. She ignored it and just kept running.

(Cresselia POV)

Cresselia was being escorted by a group of about 4 of Deoxys' royal guards; he wanted to make sure she attended their wedding. A Zoroark in a skin tight, silk, black morph suit walked into their path. A strange belt hung across her chest and right shoulder. The belt pressed slightly between her cleavage, clearly showing her modest breast. Her long red hair swayed freely with the turns of her head, the large bead swaying with her locks. The woman put her clawed hand on her hips and swung them to the left.

"How about you boys go off somewhere else? I'll take her to the wedding," the Zoroark said. The front pair of guards looked at each other before positioning their weapons towards the Zoroark.

"Step aside fox, we don't take orders from you," the one on the right said sharply. A devilish smile grew on the Zoroark's face.

"Well, that is a problem because I'm pretty sure I said to go somewhere else," the Zoroark said haughtily. She moved her right hand behind her back. "But if you insist, I'll go with the fun way!"

Her hand shot from behind her and a knife flew from her grasp into the neck of the guard. One of the guards behind Cresselia grabbed her and forced her onto her back as he and the others rushed the assailant. She leapt into the air and upside-down reverse corkscrewed before landing behind the guards. A small knife emerged from her belt, which she grabbed and quickly stabbed one guard. She shoved his body into the other two, knocking them over. She quickly then sent a Dark Ball into the three, obliterating them. She stood up slowly. Cresselia could easily see at least five small knives and a few ropes, hooks, and other trinkets on the back of the belt. The Zoroark turned to face Cresselia. Cresselia flinched when the Zoroark's clawed hand reached for her.

"Come on, we need to get you out of here," the Zoroark said. This surprised Cresselia.

"Why?"

"Because you don't want to marry that pervert," the Zoroark said. She helped Cresselia back to her feet. "I'm breaking a lot of rules and codes here but I need you to listen. I don't want to see Lord Darkrai's heart broken over this. You should be marrying him, not Deoxys."

Cresselia's eyes widened.

"I'm a spy who's been here for a couple years. I'm not even supposed to emerge at all. My name's Grace, by the way. My orders were to never intervene, just observe, but I think this overrules that. I've already telepathically gotten you a horse. Look for a Dark Rapidash named Sasha at the front of the castle. She'll get you out of here," Grace explained.

"Wait, what about Deoxys? If I don't show, the gates will be locked and I'll never get out!" Cresselia asked. Grace smirked.

"Don't worry, he'll kiss his bride, but….." a purple light enveloped Grace, and she became a perfect copy of Cresselia. "She won't be the bride he wants." Grace then lightly pushed Cresselia. "Get going!"

Cresselia took off down the hall. She ran as fast as she could in the dress, joy and happiness returning at the thought of escaping to be with Darkrai.

(Deoxys POV)

Deoxys stood at the door of the aisle; he had a black tux on and a blue and orange flower on his chest. He was starting to get impatient. Where is she? He thought. Right then, a group of guards escorting his bride arrived.

"There you are! Come! Come! We're about to start!" Deoxys said, hurriedly. The wedding started as the music played. Deoxys and Cresselia started to walk down the aisle, hand in hand. Arceus and Cresselia siblings sat in the front pew. Arceus looked at Cresselia, smiling to her while her brothers had a look that read I'm sorry. Arceus brow lifted lightly at Cresselia's depressed and also indifferent expression, but something else was off about her. She seemed to walk in a fashion that suggested she was wearing a skintight suit rather than dress. He pushed it aside as the priest began the ceremony. He gave his blessing and the two exchanged rings.

"Do you, Deoxys, take this young woman to be your wife and queen?" the priest asked.

"I do," Deoxys said.

"And do you, Cresselia, take this young man to be your husband and king?"

"I do," Cresselia said in a low, depressed tone. Her brothers' heads hung, as if they had done something wrong.

"Then by the power invested in me by the Lord almighty, I pronounce you man and wife. You may kiss the bride," the priest announced. Deoxys and Cresselia leaned in and their lips touched. To Deoxys, Cresselia's lips felt warm and soothing, but then it started to change into a more furry and cold feeling. He heard someone gasp, he opened his eyes and they bulged. In front of him, kissing him, was not Cresselia but some Zoroark! He jumped back, spitting and wiping his mouth. The Zoroark simply leaned back and looked at him with a playful expression.

"Oh, you flatter me Prince Deoxys, but I'm already taken," the Zoroark, said. A clawed paw flew to her belt and snatched some small round ball. She threw it down hard and an explosion of smoke covered the altar. Deoxys coughed as the smoke cleared and saw the Zoroark was gone.

"If Cresselia's not here, where is she?" Deoxys cried. Everyone started took look around. Deoxys whipped around. "Find her you fools! Go! Go find my bride now!"

The guards charged out of the room, as did Arceus and Deoxys, crying her name. Cresselia's brothers split up and followed Deoxys and Arceus, worried for their sister but in their minds this is their thought. YES! SHE DOESN'T HAVE TO MARRY DEOXYS! TAKE THAT YOU ROYAL ******!

(Cresselia POV)

Cresselia finally reached the front of the castle. She threw open the large wooden doors. She looked down the stairs and saw a large Dark Rapidash waiting at the base of the stairs. It reared and turned; it seemed to want her to mount up. Cresselia hurried down the stairs. At the final step, she tripped and both her glass slippers broke. Blood leaked lightly out of a couple of cuts on her bare feet. Cresselia bit her lip to ignore the pain and pulled herself up onto the horse. She realized that this Rapidash must be Sasha. Without any warning or command, Sasha sped off. She wrapped her arms around the Rapidash's long neck. She felt herself bob as the horse ran. She saw a large collection of barrels in the alley ahead. She tried to get Sasha to turn, but instead the horse ran harder. A trail of fire emerged from behind the Rapidash. She jumped and easily cleared the barricade. Cresselia looked back to see the trail of flames stop and several villagers come out of their homes to see what happened.

Soon the gate was in view. Fortunately, it was open and the bridge was down. Then a loud horn sounded and the gate started to close and the bridge rose.

"Oh no! They know I've escaped! We have to go faster!" Cresselia cried. Sasha started to run faster and the trail of flames emerged again. Cresselia could feel the wind beating at her face as the fast moving horse darted under the gate just before it was dropped shut. Cresselia screamed as Sasha jumped off of the bridged and landed. Sasha did not stop. She sped forward on the straight dirt road. Cresselia looked back and saw the bridge drop, and the gate open. About ten cavalrymen darted out of the open gate and across the bridge.

"They're coming!" Cresselia cried. The dirt road gave way to several harsh turns. Sasha was very fast, and great at turning; however, Arceus' cavalrymen were better. Soon some of them were catching up. Cresselia threw a psychic blast behind her and sent two horses and their riders flying into the dirt. A good-sized straight arrived and Sasha started to pull away. The road ahead went into a large, dead forest. The leafless trees looked like a blow of wind could knock them down. Sasha sped into the dead forest, the flame trail immediately vanished and she slowed down some. Cresselia heard the other horses and turned to see al but three refused to enter this forest. Shadows danced along the path and trees. Then suddenly, a hail of arrows came from the trees, killing the three riders that had pursued Cresselia. Cresselia leaned more into the neck of the Rapidash, clenching her eyes and tightening her hold. She simply listened to the beating of Sasha's hoofs.

(Darkrai POV)

Darkrai sat at his desk, flicking his pencil up and down. The paper below him was slightly wet and the teardrops trail still present on his face. He sighed sadly. He remember that Cresselia was getting married today, he also remembered there was nothing he could do about it. He got up and when to his mothers room. He was about to knock on the door when.

"Sasha has got out!" The caretaker of Darkrai's steed rushed up to him, panting like a Mightyena. Darkrai's eyes widened.

"What?!" Darkrai exclaimed.

"I was going to feed her and I found her out of her pen! She rushed me and jumped over and just ran off. I've alerted others but had to tell you. I'm sorry I did not tell you sooner. She's been out for about 30 minutes by the way," the caretaker panted. Darkrai rushed past him and looked out the window. He saw a trail of black fire in the distance, coming from the Lifarian castle? Darkrai jumped out the window and floated down. He stood at the entrance to the dead forest from his end. Darkrai could hear the beating of Sasha's hoofs coming closer. He waited. When she came into view, Darkrai's eyes widened and jaw dropped. On Sasha's back, holding on for dear life, was Cresselia!

"Cresselia!" Darkrai cried and propelled himself towards his horse. Sasha stopped just before Darkrai reached her. Darkrai grabbed Cresselia and tried to get her off of Sasha, but she wouldn't budge.

"Cresselia, it's me. Come on," Darkrai said comforting. Slowly, Cresselia opened her ruby eyes and turned to see Darkrai staring at her, arms extended around her, and a worried expression plastered on his face.

"Darkrai!" Cresselia screamed and threw herself into a strange leaning hug. Darkrai pulled her off of his horse and caressed her.

"What are you doing here?" Darkrai asked stroking her hair.

"I ran away, I ran away to be with you," Cresselia answered. She quickly pressed her lips against his. They stay like this briefly before Darkrai pulled away.

"Let's go inside, tell me everything there," Darkrai said. He wrapped his right arm around Cresselia and led her inside.

HIP HIP HORRAY! CRESSELIA'S NOT MARRYING THAT ROYAL PERV! But still this is going to cause trouble.
