Hello, readers! This is JayZeeTee16 speaking! Now since I already change my pen name and brought out my first forum for Revenge of the Octopus that everyone might enjoy, It's time for the Halloween Episode Countdown! Now overall, the series have several specials that involves around the holidays, such as Fools in April and Christmas Who?. Now, since nobody didn't so much bother review these autumn-themed episodes, I decided to be the first one to do so. Anyway, let's get this countdown started! Bold is included for this and later chapters.

Number #1 - Scaredy Pants

This is the first ever Halloween based episode. So, what happens? It all started with Mr. Krabs telling Spongebob a scary story about the ghost legend, The Flying Dutchman. After hearing it, Squidward comes out in a costume and decide to "take his soul", which scares the sponge. When that happens, both employeer and co-worker chuckled at Spongebob's fear of Halloween, which goes on and on in the episode. Besides for been scared very much for the young sponge, that's pretty unsettling for this show. Understandable that this teach kids it's okay be scared, but what I didn't get is why Spongebob doesn't notice that all the materials he see are FAKE?! Seriously, it's just costumes and outfits. For some reason, these parts reminded me of Scooby-Doo.

*Scooby-Doo*

Scooby-Doo chuckles, "Hee hee hee hee hee!"

Fed up of being scared so much, Patrick comes in to help Spongebob, but at first it fails. Soon, the cubic sea-sponge realized that the issue is his head not being round. Patrick's observation on the similarities of Spongebob and a ghost is hilarious. After that, the duo headed for the party, where they cut out the lights and goes all spooky to the folks as payback for being scared. Unfortunately, a jellyfish came out of nowhere and distracted Patrick, which causes Spongebob to be exposed and laugh at again. Hearing this, the real Flying Dutchman comes out from the mists and reveals himself. Now that's what I called a "unexpected situation". Tried of the laughs, the ghost pirate decided to punish for those who try to be like him, and goes to Spongebob, explaining him he's not scary. Wait a minute! Is this where Monsters University get the idea from for Mike Wazowski? Anyway, the episodes end with Spongebob revealing himself as a shaved brain and everyone ran from him for this appearance. That's what they get for scaring him so damn much!

Number #2 - Ghoul Fools

We're in the modern era already, huh? In this episode, Spongebob and Patrick discover a rusty boat out of nowhere and decided to check it out. Please don't tell me they're ripping off Number #1 and Scooby-Doo! Now inside, Patrick thinks the ship is fake and Spongebob thinks it real, which is a weird similar effect in The Wreak of Manua Loa. Just like in Courage the Cowardly Dog, the painting the new era heroes have change into snakes and the main ghost named Lord Poltergeist (That's right, readers. Chris Elliot from the Scary Movie series) appears, but Patrick STILL thinks it's not real. Can the writers stop ripping off points of A Pal For Gary?! Anyway, a song comes around and the ghost confirms to the duo that if they don't get a new head gasket that the ghosts PURPOSELY damaged during the song in 24 hours, their souls will get taken.

Now at the Krusty Krab, the duo asked their friends for help to find a replacement, but Krabs takes it as finding the treasure (Arrgh! too?!), Squidward like always gets into the mess, and unexpectedly Sandy joins along after finding for "milkshakes gremlins". Okay, making Sandy a bit like Princess Bubblegum and Squidward once again into a disaster IS NOT FUNNY! Afterwards, the gang managed to get the gasket, but the issue is that Krabs stupidly touch the doubloon and set the five in a trap. It turns out the duo's souls weren't taken at all due to find out it was freaking SODA! What kind of a lame excuse is that?! Of course, Patrick, Krabs, and Squidward were suck into their worst fears. Patrick kind of did a smart job on outsmarting his fear, but Krabs (who still can't pay a single cent) and Squidward (which is a silhouette to New Spongebob and should have been Squilliam) were very unlucky. Sandy sucks them out and Spongebob realized the doubloons belonged to the Flying Dutchman, much to both Poltergesit's and Squidward's dismays. Come on! At least give Spongebob credit for doing the right thing. Soon, the F. D. arrives but for some reason gets tricked by Poltergesit and turns into a torpedo as revenge, leaving the cast presumably dead in a void. What kind of a episode is this?! Why didn't the cast just at least escape the ship and take cover from the explosion? And how did they head back to the real world?! Oh yeah. NO EXPLANATION!

Number #3 - Don't Look Now

Remember this from the previous chapters? Let's get this piece of trash out of the way. The episode starts with Spongebob and Patrick watching a scary movie called the Fisherman in the theaters. Squidward suddenly appears and mocks that they won't survive a minute in the movie, but the duo claims that they're grown men. Crap, this is not going to good(referring to Squidward's School for Grown-Ups). Anyway, after the movie, the duo couldn't get to sleep and decided to sleepover(Great. Night Light is here!). They realized the the Fisherman comes out at midnight where he strikes, which brings an idea to Squidward. Soon, the squid terrorizes Spongebob and Patrick around the entire pineapple, possibly to Ex-Spongebob Fans as payback for all the torture he's been throughout the years.

But here's where it gets ridiculous. Gary doesn't seems to appear around the episode and the duo didn't even try to call the DAMN POLICE! If anything goes wrong such as a assault gang or a robbery, always call the police! Too bad the stupid duo didn't even thought of that. Anyhow, Squidward accidentally exposed himself and Spongebob and Patrick somehow believes that the Fisherman is eating him by beating the suit up even though he's in it. I guess this is okay, because it's basically resentment. The first part of the episode seems to have major similarities to the second Scream. The episode ends with the suit scaring the duo into the ambulance where Squidward is damaged at, which is turn out to Gary. Okay, why didn't the sea-sponge and sea-star at least look wait's's inside the suit and realized it was Squidward the entire time?! That could have been the saving grace for the episode, but at least they overcome their fears (not really).

Number #4 - Seance Shmeance

Why is there a feeling of The Curse of the Hex references here? And of course Sonic X? Anyway, the episode starts with the snobbish squid and the naive sponge watching a seance. As it ends, this cause the sponge to be freaked out. Okay, Spongebob have seen this nonsense before! Stop referencing Dear Vikings! Anyhow, Old Man Jenkins order a Rusty on Rye, which confuses Spongebob and angers Mr. Krabs. Later after the food joint's closed and hearing about Rusty Rickets , the sponge decided to a seance with Patrick in order to receive the information, under circumstances of not eating the materials. Squid on Strike, anyone? Soon, the duo released the Rusty's Rib Eye restaurant, but the horrified starfish ran off, leaving Spongebob questioning how is that sandwich made. It turns out the sandwich is two driftwood boards smothered with shellac and speckle. Since when the folks 20 years ago has a liking on industrial food? And of course rye is a actual bread. Speaking of which, Jenkins seems to have many different designs throughout the series.

This smell of the "sandwich" caught the attention of other ghosts and they infiltrated the Krusty Krab to dine on the food. IS THIS A ANOTHER INSULT TO GHOSTS AGAIN?! So, Spongebob tries to stop this mess he created. It's about time he did something right that he messed up at! But, this fails and Patrick somehow calmed down brings along Mr. Krabs, but gets scared again. The cheapskate on the other hand pushed the bubble into the ghosts and defeats them by popping it. Atlantis Squarepantis references already?! I guess this is where Teen Titans GO! gets the sandwich ideas from. So, what's the lesson learned here (besides the "Ghosts are like relatives. Once you let them in, they'll never leave." point)? ABSOLUTELY NOTHING! Of course, the ghosts roaming throughout the Krusty Krab is just like Ghost Host. Spongebob should have done the same thing like in that episode as well. Lastly, the episode ends with Old Man Jenkins feeling satisfied and Patrick still roaming around the place. That's it.

Before this chapter ends, episode Toy Store of Doom is not going to be part of the countdown for a very good reason. Anyway, please leave a message or comment. PEACE!
