Chapter 21

Fathers reunited

The group had finnaly made it too a dense forest where Katie and her family lived. As they got deeper in, Jon, Kaite, Max and Marcus were talking among themselves as were Vixy, Fox and Krystal. After awhile they heard something.

"Oh no, Oh no, Slippy you idiot!"

A small boom along with smoke came out of a good sized building, and a blue falcon, a green frong and an old rabbit. Fox and the others ran over to see if they were okay.

"Falco! you guys alright?"

"Yeah, Slippy just almost blew us up with one of his experiments."

The green toad finally was ble to talk.

"Hey come on Falco, How was I too know that the electric current would go directly to the power source and cause it to expload."

The hare finally saw all the people around.

"Fox, thank goodness you're here."

"Peppy, long time no see ya old hare."

Fox and Peppy hugged, but then saw Vixy.

"Vixy, your!"

"Yes, I know, I can't quite understand either."

Jon and Max were still in the dark about why they were all so shocked to see Vixy. Katie explanned to the too brothers.

"Granma was in a car rigged with a bomb that was ment for my granpa, but things happed and we all though she died."

"Oh."

Jon was happy to see that it was not the case. Though he then thought of his own mother and was a little sad, but he was still happy to see the others happy. Fox then realized something.

"Oh right, Peppy, Slip, Falco, meet Jon and Max Kurisaki."

Jon and Max both said hello. They all began to tell of all the adventures the group had been on. Jon began to have a good time untill he felt something.

"Oh no, not him, not now."

Jon ran into the woods everyone fallowing closely behind. They ran into a field and saw too men. One was an older fox, while the other was Jon's father. Jon and Fox ran further in and a wall of black flame came up sepperating the others from them.

"Well, well, well, if two sons did not just reunite with there fathers."

Fox realized that his father was up there tied up.

"DAD!"

Jon ran forward and called out alistar, but his father knocked him back with a black fire ball.

"Why you!"

Jon ducked under the next and slashed the third. While Jon and his dad were fighting Fox ran to his. Fox couldn't belive he was alive. Then his dad woke up.

"Fox?"

"Hey dad."

Their attention turned to the fight before them. Dark and red flames swirled around as the fight raged on and on. Jon decided to use his new move to finish him off. Raising his hand like he3 did before a bight orb of fire appeared in it.

"Supernova."

He threw the orb directly at his father and it was a direct hit aleast it appeared to be. He knocked it high in the air and as Jon stared at it his father was gone.

"Darn it."

As Jon realized he had run away he checked on Fox and his dad.

"You two okay."

"Yeah."

Fox looked at his dad and smiled.

"Nice to have you back dad."

"Nice to be back."

"James!"

Vixy hugged her husband with all her might. Everything was right with the world.

Chapter 22

A Rose's Thorns

The gang had gotten settled into the base after the fight. James was tired so he went to rest, along with cathing up with the rest of his family. Jonathan went to the room that Peppy showed him; and proceeded to collapse on his bed. He was exaused and his eyes showed it. He started to drift off to sleep until he felt someone with him. Max had come in and started to hug him.

"Hey Max."

"Hey Big Bro."

The two brothers just stared at each other for a good few minutes, he still couldn't believe that he was alive.

"You know, you have a lot of new friends big bro."

"Yeah and there are some not here right now."

"Really!"

"Yup I can't wait for you too meet them."

His brother got close to Jon and fell asleep. Jon soon followed as the sun set. As night came he heard something. Waking up, he went outside to see what was going on. Krystal was outside looking at a lake. Jon walked up when Krystal noticed him.

"Oh Jon."

"Hey."

"You okay?"

"Yeah, just getting some air."

"You know, Katie talked about you a lot when we were talking to James."

Jon blushed slightly.

"Your as shy as Fox was when we first started dating."

"Really?"

"Yes."

Jon smiled.

"Ummm…. Krystal do you um.. Ya know…. Hate me?"

"What? No, you're a very kind soul, I could tell when you came in to save us with Katie and Marcus. Plus your honest. You did amidt to being Katie's…. you know… boyfriend in front of her father."

"Thanks."

Jon and Krystal were about to in when suddenly, a black panther showed up in front of them.

"Panther!"

"Hello Krystal, I have come to finally take you away form this drabble."

Before Panther could walk forward; Jon shot a fireball right in front of him.

"You stay back."

Panther noticed his red hair and red eyes.

"Well, this is intresting, are you related to Shana?"

Jon was startled.

"How do you know my mother's name!"

"So you are."

Panther drew a knife and charged but was blown into a tree by a strong gust of wind. Katie had gotten up and ran outside after hearing all the noise along with everyone else. Panther started to retreat.

"You will be mine Krystal, and to Shana's son, you have no idea what you can do."

He soon retreated into the shadows. Jon started to ask questions, would he soon find out how his mother knew him, or does he even want to know?

I HAVE A KEYBOARD THAT WORKS YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSS! Sorry it took me so long to do something but some of the keys on my old baord were shot so we had to get a new one. I will try to update regularly thanks :D
