Tori's POV
I stare at Jade waiting for a response. What about Scotty? She is crying oh god please no.
"Jade, what is it?" Jade is crying but hasn't answered. I feel tears stream down my face thinking the worse. Next thing I know Jade kisses me hard and hugs me tight whispering the best thing ever.
"He's alive." I am stunned and feel more tears of happiness stream down my face hugging Jade back just as tightly. I am happier then words can describe. Jade pulls back from me and gives me a happy smile that I love seeing on her face before kissing me again. "Come on, let's go tell Sikowitz what's up so we can get to the hospital.
"Okay I say." Jade takes my hand walking to where Sikowitz is sitting watching Andre and Cat act out some random scene on the stage. Sikowitz lets us go without problem and says he will even talk to Helen about us leaving. We rush out of the room Jade saying she will send Beck a text to tell everyone what's going on. We jump in my car because I drove today. Jade sends Beck a text while we are driving to the hospital explaining everything. After she sends it she takes my hand and squeezes it.
"I'm so happy Tori, like I can't describe it. "
"I know Jade me too." I squeeze Jade's hand back and look at her smiling.
We arrive to the hospital in record time. I'm not usually one to speed but I wanted to get there. I just had to see Scotty awake for myself. I also knew Jade wanted to get there fast as well. We walk hand in hand up to Scotty's room seeing that my mom and Trina were there with Scotty's parents. I all but ran into the room with Jade seeing Scotty laying down smiling holding Trina's hand.
Trina's POV Flashback
I am sitting in Scotty's room just trying to read some stupid magazine I found in here. I am trying anything to distract myself from worrying about Scotty not waking up. I have never felt like this before about anyone. I am truly in love with Scotty. He has made me a better person and I could see myself with him the rest of my life.
I feel tears burn my eyes. This is the first day I have been here with out Tori and Jade and I hate to need anyone but I really wish they were both here. I feel tears stream down my face as I silently cry. My mom went with Scotty's mom to get us some more coffee. I try to wipe the tears and stop myself from crying. I look at Scotty and I think my mind plays tricks on me as his hand moves. I stare at him in shock wondering what's going on. His hand moves again and then I look up to his still bruises face and see his eyes flutter. I watch for a few minutes and his eyes slowly open and look at me. I can't help but feel tears stream down my face as I see his eyes open.
"I'll be right back I have to get a doctor." I say kissing his forehead walking out of the room to find someone. I find a doctor and tell them Scotty opened his eyes.
Our mom's come back as they are checking Scotty out and his dad also had just gotten back here from work. I tell them the good news as we wait for the doctor. We go in after the doctors are done checking him saying they aren't seeing any complications and that he is going to be a little goggy. We go in and each take a turn giving him a hug. Scotty looks at me with a sad look before I hug him.
"A beautiful girl like you shouldn't be crying." Scotty says taking my hand making me cry harder.
"Scotty I love you I thought I was going to lose you."
"Trina baby, you're not going to lose me I promise. I love you too." I pull back to kiss Scotty. Scotty wipes away my tears from my eyes and I realize that his parents and my mom have left the room to give us our privacy and probably talk with the doctors. "Wait, where is Tori?" Scotty said suddenly panicking.
"Jade and Tori are both fine. They have been everyday but our moms made them go to school today. Your mom is probably going to text Jade that you are awake and they will be here." I say touched that Scotty even though he just woke up from a coma was worried that my sister was okay. "Thanks for saving Tori Scotty." I kiss him again.
End Flashback.
Tori's POV
I walk into Scotty's room following behind Jade still holding onto her hand. I feel tears of happiness roll down my cheeks at the site of Scotty awake and smiling. Scotty turns towards us when he hears the door smiling bigger. Jade walks up to him hugging him first crying into his shoulder. After Jade finishes hugging him I hug him too crying into his shoulder as well.
"Scotty I am so happy you are awake we were so worried. Thank you for saving my life you will never know how grateful I am." I say when I pull back wiping some of my tears away.
"Tori I am just so happy you are okay I was afraid when I woke up that you might have still gotten hurt. " Scotty says losing the smile and taking o a serious face that he never usually has. I hug him again careful to not hurt any of his injuries.
Scotty will be in a cast and on crutches for at least 6 weeks, the doctors will check on how the bone is healing during this time and determine if it needs to stay on for additional time after the 6 weeks. Scotty will also be staying in the hospital for at least a few more days to make sure there is no complications from waking up from the coma. Everyone is relieved and happy that Scotty is awake but we all can't wait until he can go home.
"So how did the car look? I bet it looks worse than I do right?" Scotty makes a joke in the middle of talking with his famous million-dollar smile. I can't help but share a look with Jade before rolling my eyes. There's the inappropriate joking Scotty we all know.
"Yeah Scotty you destroyed that car." Jade says with a smirk. I'm glad Jade is returning to her old self, I hate seeing her upset ever.
After a little while the gang shows up at the room to say hi to Scotty. I wonder if Nicki would show up today. We stay chatting with Scotty eating awful hospital food until visiting hours are over. Trina Scotty and our moms convince the doctors to let Trina stay with him the night even though she is not technically family. Scotty says he will not heal right if his heart is not allowed to stay in the room with him.
We say our goodbyes an Jade and I head home to relax after having a rough and emotional days. As we reach Jade's car Jade stops and turns around wrapping her arms around me and kissing me passionately. We stand there kissing massaging each other's tongue in the middle of the hospital's parking lot not caring who sees. It feels so good to really kiss Jade again. We really haven't since the day Scotty was hit. When the kiss breaks, Jade lays he forehead against mine and looks into my eyes as we share a happy moment.
"I love you so much Tori, thank you for always being here for me. Jade then hugs me tight to her. I hug her just as tightly back.
"I love you too Jade. I'm always going to be here for you." I whisper into her ear before kissing her again.
"Tori I'll always be here for you too, no matter how much I may act like a gank." Jade says once the kiss breaks. She opens the door and we make our way back to our houses.
Scotty is released form the hospital 4 days later. The doctors say he is recovering very well and there seems to be no complications. We hang all hang out with Scotty at his house when he is released kind of having a little happy you are alive and home party. Even Nicki stops over to say hi to Scotty. Jade doesn't speak to her and neither do I but Jade doesn't do anything knowing Scotty is friends with her and happy she came to visit. By the end of the day Scotty has mastered going up the stairs on his crutches claiming he wants to sleep in his own bed not the sofa.
Trina stays with him that night so that she can easily get him anything he may need through the night like his pain meds he is on. I'm currently cuddled up with Jade watching 'The Scissoring' with her even though I hate this movie and have watched it more than once already, I watch it to make Jade happy. Jade has her arms wrapped around me, her front pressed against my back while we watch. I still jump even though I know what is coming but being in Jade's arms helps me feel safe and protected.
I eventually fall asleep before the movie is over but not before I kiss Jade goodnight and tell her I love her. I fall asleep in Jade's arms with a smile on my face that Scotty is alive and everything is right in this world.
I'm sorry this is a shorter chapter than I normally do. I threw in Trina's view just to see what it was like when Scotty woke up hope you guys didn't mind it. I'll try to have the next chapter up soon. Let me know what you guys all think of this chapter!
