Nina's POV

As soon as we landed on the island, I rushed to untie Eddie. When he was free he grabbed me holding me do tight I think I may have just turned purple. When he saw Ben he ran and picked him up in the air. For Eddie to act like this it must have been horrible in the state that the Sirens had led them into.

Infact, all the boys had went around hugging us all. "So," Eddie after we all settled down. "Let's see what's on this island. "

Eddie's POV

When I was surrounded by the Sirens, I felt like all time had come to an end I couldn't hear anything, I couldn't see anything...it was so dark. That's when I heard Ben. My son was calling to me and I couldn't get to him. The fact that I had no idea where Nina was only made this all worse.

As I carried Ben on my back and intertwined my hand with Nina's, we continued our journey into the jungle of the island on the path Osiris and Isis had revealed to us. We soon came to a pyramid made of sand so yellow and bright it looked like gold. A fire pit infront of it gave light to it's dark entrance. "Well that's enough for today." Fabian said. He turned around to leave but I stopped him.

"And who says you get to call the shots?"

"Eddie, it's bad enough we had to fight off Sirens to get here. I'm not doing anything else life endangering today because we have to be back at tge house before Trudy realizes that we're all gone!" I glared at him. We haven't exactly been the best of friends since he found out I have a kid with Nina.

"Fine. We come back tomorrow. After school." Thankfully, we won't have to fend off the Sirens again. Osiris said that once we defeated them, we'd be safe from here on out.

Amber's POV

"Okay, is it just me or are you totally sensing some territorial vibes from Eddie and Fabian?"I asked Mick as we walked back through the tunnels.

"No, I'm definitely sensing that too. Looks like Fabian and Nina must have had some unfinished business for him to react like this. "

"Yeah couldn't have said it better my-self...Did we just agree on something?" We stopped and looked at each other.

"Yeah and for the first time it isn't about magazines or reputations..."

"Well this is awkward. " I said looking at the ground.

"Totally."

"Let's forget this ever happened." I said before we ran to catch up with everyone else.

"No doubt."

When we got back to the house, I helped Nina put Bentley down for his name before we went to help Trudy with setting up. The new caretaker was supposed to arrive today. Rumor has it, he used to teach here. "So Trudes," I started. " Do you know who the new caretaker will be?" She smiled.

"Oh Amber darling, it's a surprise. You'll find out at dinner."

"Please Trudy! I promise I won't tell the others!" She laughed. And like always the twinkle reached her eyes.

"Oh alright. I can't say no to a face like that." She whispered in my ear. And I'm pretty sure I was the most surprised person in the world. I clasped my hand over my mouth.

"Are you serious?"

"Oh yes dearie. He'll be here any minute now." They are not going to believe who it is!
