Chapter 10: The truth; Tristia's past

Tristia made her way back to the hideout, the same one that Ira failed to get back into for the past days. However, the room she was in wasn't a bowling alley but a separate room of her own creation. The room was dark as if it was located in a cave and resembled a clash between a throne and an auditorium with only one seat, a few pillars, a staircase, an audience floor, and several balconies. With great effort she stumbled and crawled over the throne seat and sat down. She was still breathing heavily. She grabbed the glass of juice that was sitting by the stool near her chair and quickly gulped it down. Afterwards she slammed the glass on the table. Her breathing had started to even out.

"This is all Bel's fault" she gritted between her teeth.

….

Due to the circumstances, everyone headed towards the Trump Kingdom's old palace to rest. They took shelter in the President's room. When they arrived, Rikka helped tend Joe's wounds while everyone else was scattered in the room.

"The residents of the Trump Republic are still asleep" Aguri muttered as she looked out the window. The atmosphere outside was as gloomy as they had left it. Not one resident awoke and there were still Selfish Seeds roaming around. She could see them floating outside of the Trump Republic into the human world.

Makoto opened the door and entered the room. "The Selfish Plant that was originally on top of the castle is gone" she stated.

"How can that be!? The plant is gone yet the residents still haven't woke up. What's going on!?" Aguri exclaimed.

"That's not all ~byi. Even though the plant is gone, the roof is still releasing the Selfish Seeds ~byi"

"It's very strange. I thought maybe the Plant had shrunk and was hiding but there's nothing on where the seeds are popping out. I even searched the rest of the castle to see if maybe the plant was hiding in one of the rooms but there was nothing out of the ordinary." Makoto continued.

Mana looked at Bel who was placed on the table. "Bel-san, shouldn't you be telling us what's going on" she said.

Bel scratched his head with a paw. "Hmm normally I wouldn't but under these circumstances, things really working in our favor either. I guess I can tell you but I would like something in exchange" he replied.

"Something in exchange?" Alice asked.

"You see my current form right now. Because you guys defeated Proto Jikochu with me in it, I am now in a lack of power so I'm forced to assume this form. I was planning to rest for a ten thousand years or so to regain my energy but that doesn't seem to be an option right now. So what I ask is that you guys give me your powers so I can return to my original form. It's really inconvenient living as a mouse. You can't do anything and everybody screams when they see you"

"Exactly why would we help you return to your original form?" Makoto shouted as she slammed her hands on the table, creating a mini earthquake for Bel and making him lose balance.

"Well like I said earlier, the circumstances really aren't in any of our favor right now. You don't know what's going on, I can't do anything, no one likes what's going on either, and the deal isn't that bad. And don't get me wrong, I'm not asking you because I want to either"

Mana stared at him deep in thought. "Hmmm….ALRIGHT!" she exclaimed.

"EHHHH" everyone shouted.

"Do you know what you're saying?" Aguri exclaimed. "He's the enemy!"

"Regina was our enemy before too and she's helping us now" Mana reasoned.

"That's true…" she muttered "BUT THAT'S NOT THE POINT! Bel has never kept any of the promises made before! He has a betrayal record higher than all of us combined. Let's say we do help he regain his form. We can instantly become enemies' right after!"

"Well if I do, you two can just take Marmo and Ira in my place" Bel stated (Ira and Marmo: HEY!)

Mana thought again. "That's true…but I don't think Bel will lie to us this time. Something tells me the situation is a bit complicated this time around"

"There's no changing your mind after you made it, is there?" Alice commented with a smile.

"Alright Bel-san, we'll help you. But first you'll answer our questions so we'll be even"

Bel sighed. "I guess there's no helping it. Alright I'll answer. What do you want to know?"

"Exactly why are you three down here in the human world even though we defeated you guys ~sharu"

"Why is it that we all had weird memories right before this ~quel"

"Why are you actually helping us ~rancu"

"Exactly who are those three people who just appeared ~byi"

"Why does it seem like they're your enemies?" Mana added.

"Why is everyone after you?" Rikka asked.

"Where were you this whole time?" Alice wondered.

"Exactly what are you planning to do here?" Makoto demanded.

"Why isn't the residents waking up? Where's the Selfish Plant" Aguri asked

"Is King Jikochu coming back" Regina stated.

"Um…exactly what's going on?" Joe added.

Bel visually sweat dropped on all the questions he received. "Let's start from the beginning" he stated. "Lust and Goma were originally part of us. However shortly after King Jikochu awoke because of the King of the Trump Kingdom, the two were killed in battle during our invasion"

"Wait if they're dead why were they there?" Rikka asked.

"That's because of Tristia"

"Tristia? Exactly who is she? She doesn't seem to be your ally. In fact, no one seems to be your ally." Mana asked.

"Hm….I guess you can say she was one of us and at the same time she's not" Bel muttered.

"What? I never heard of her or saw her before!" Marmo exclaimed.

"Wait, you don't know her?" Makoto asked.

"No, she just suddenly showed up that day. However it seems like Bel knows her"

"Hm, more than know her I guess you can call us the same being but at the same time we're not" Bel replied.

"What do you mean?"

….

Tristia still remembered that day over 10,000 years ago. She'll never forget it because it's what caused her to be in this state today. She glared at the memory.

Over 10,000 year ago Proto Jikochu had been ruling the universe. The world was covered in darkness and Proto Jikochu was the center being of them all. It was truly a blissful time. Then one day, the Precure appeared: Cure Empress, Cure Priestess, and Cure Magician. Their appearance had ruined the balance of Proto Jikochu's rule. Although they were weak, little by little, they started to purify the darkness, bringing light everywhere they went. That's when Tristia was created. She wasn't a child at that time; she had assumed an adult appearance. Tristia was the first general deployed by Proto Jikochu himself. She was the only one that was made making her his second in command. It was a simple task, to defeat the Precure and engulf the purified areas with darkness once more.

She remembered her first encounter with the Precure. They were nothing special. At that time, they were new to it so none of them had the now known sacred treasures.

"So you're called Precure huh? You three are weak, thinking you can overrule Jikochu-sama" she remember saying to them on their first meeting.

"We may be weak, but as long as our feelings get through we can overcome any obstacles" the one called Cure Empress replied

The battle afterwards wasn't hard. With her powers, Tristia was able to defeat all three of them easily.

"Just give it up. I'll be nice and let you girls live. Just despair over this outcome. It was your fault for trying to save the world"

"No…we'll never give up!" Cure Empress muttered as she laid defeated on the ground with her companions.

Perhaps it was her mistake for not finishing them off at that time because afterwards, they had more resolve and she was easily overthrown. One loss lead to another and soon she was forced to face Proto Jikochu.

"Those pesky Precures still haven't been defeated" he boomed.

"Please wait Jikochu-sama. I've just been defeated a few times because I was going easy on them! Next time for sure, I'll be the one to-"

"ENOUGH. You're not needed anymore. I don't need weaklings" he replied as she felt her energy being drained. She collapsed on the floor and saw her Janergy flow towards Proto Jikochu and form into another being, a male who appeared older than her. By the time her energy was drained, she had assumed a child appearance. The being walked over to with a smug look.

"Hm, that's it? I guess that's all the power I can contain and you can give" he said.

"J-Jikochu-sama, who's this?" she asked between breaths.

"This is your replacement, Bel. From now on, he'll be the one to take care of those Precure" he replied. "He's made with your own energy and my own. He'll be able to take care of them now"

Bel smirked at the weakened Tristia. "You heard him. Your services won't be need any longer. But I supposed you won't be useless"

Once more Tristia felt her power become drained. It flowed into Bel's hands and became a lollipop. Tristia was nowhere to be seen.

"Well then…I guess I should go defeat the Precure now. Please await for the good news Jikochu-sama" he said and then left.

Little did both Proto Jikochu and Bel know was that Tristia wasn't dead. Instead, she merely took the form of an ant. Unable to face Proto Jikochu in her disgraced form, she ran away to recover. She wanted to cry that day but ants don't have tear ducts and tears were a sign of weakness.

Like Proto Jikochu had wished, Bel was able to defeat the Precure in their first battle and like Tristia, Bel made the mistake of not finishing them there. The Precure rose up once more and valiantly fought each after that. Eventually Proto Jikochu got mad once more and created Leva and Gula. After Leva and Gula came Goma and Marmo and then Lust and Ira. Tristia observed every action and battle the Precure had with Proto Jikochu's new subordinates while she recovered on her own. She saw every battle. She saw the Precures obtain their weapons. She saw THAT. It was hard to recover without being seen but eventually she gained enough power to transform herself into small animals to observe. She was enraged that even after Bel's failure, Proto Jikochu didn't dismiss him like he did to her.

When the final battle came, each side of the party fought hard. Tristia had only gained enough power to take the form of a toddler so she didn't join; instead she watched the battle from a very long distance. She saw how the generals easily fell because the Precure had new weapons. When it came to fighting Proto Jikochu, Proto Jikochu kept beating them. Even after losing multiple times, they didn't give up. Their teamwork improved. Cure Empress and Cure Magician cleared the way and continued to purify the body till Proto Jikochu was no more. With no physical body, Cure Priestess encased his remains into an ice pillar and sealed the pillar using the Golden Crown. Shortly after, the rest of the Generals decided to go into a slumber while to wait for his revival.

….

"Wait, so you were created because of her power!?" Rikka exclaimed.

"Something like that. I was already being created with Jikochu-sama's power and her power was just added to mine" he explained.

"Then why is she still around if you absorbed it all? ~rancu"

"Perhaps I was sloppy on it and I missed a spot. But I didn't know until a while back when she reappeared"

"That day when we were all going to go to sleep" Marmo continued.

"Yes. Oh yeah, I forgot to ask. Exactly how much do you guys remember of the incident?" Bel asked. "You two were hit pretty hard"

"I remember most of it for the most part. Ira on the other hand" she replied as she looked over her shoulder to Ira who was deep in thought.

"Ira?" Rikka asked.

"I remember bits and bits of that day but something's still missing" he replied.

"So Tristia was the one who made us all forget?" Mana asked.

"Not entirely. Lust helped her. And that's not all, Ira you were part of it too"

"EHHH!?" everyone shouted.

"What me!? Why would I help them!?" Ira shouted in rage.

"I never said you helped them" he replied.

….

After the Precure sealed Proto Jikochu with the help of the Golden Crown, the world started to brighten up. Tristia ran up to the sealed pillar. She tried to break the ice but a child couldn't accomplish much. She tried to use the little power she had saved up but the Golden Crown easily negated it. It was around that time when they appeared.

"Huh? What's a child doing out here?" a voice said.

Tristia turned around and saw the three Cures standing there. "The Precure!" she exclaimed ready to fight them.

"It's alright, we won't hurt you" Cure Empress said as she bent down to Tristia's height.

"It's alright, the evil has been vanquished. You don't have to be scared anymore" Cure Magician added as she too bent down.

Then she remembered. She hadn't appeared to them in a while. In addition, her form was very different from her previous one. There's no way they would recognize her.

"You look familiar. What's your name?" Cure Priestess asked.

"Tr…Tame" she replied with a forced smile.

"Tame huh? You really look familiar though. Oh well, you can come with us. We'll bring you to somewhere safe" she said as she was led away from the pillar.

After that day, Tristia ended up residing in what came to be known as the Trump Kingdom. She lived in an orphanage where she recovered her energy. She needed to bring back Proto Jikochu as soon as possible and when she did, she'll be readmitted as the second in command. However, years passed and she was never able to find a suitable host or someone easy to manipulate to free him. She continued to live in the Trump Kingdom, taking up a different form after every several years. Her power had grown and she was able to take many different human forms ranging from children to adults but she was never able to regain her true form. No matter how many years passed, a 10 year old body was as far as she got. She stayed in the Trump Kingdom, always making sure to be as close to the castle as possible because that was where the pillar was easily accessible. She only left to explore other nearby areas for ways to revive him.

Then one day, 10,000 years later, she found her chance. The queen just gave birth to a child and passed away. Her husband was the kind King respected by all. Even though he lost the wife he loved, he dotted on the princess. He would be the perfect vessel for Jikochu's revival. He wasn't full of Janergy like she was. He could easily break the seal.

Tristia began her plan immediately. First she infiltrated the castle by taking on the position of the maid. Being a maid, she was able to roam freely in the castle without anyone suspecting her. She discovered the hidden lair on which Jikochu's essence had been sealed. Day after day, year after year, she worked hard to break the pillar of ice, even if it was to weaken it. Eventually her efforts bore fruit as she saw the Jikochu's essence start to seep out.

That night a small fragment of the darkness was able to break free from the spell binding it. Tristia caught the essence and led it to the princess' room. Afterwards she quickly ran into one of the doctors and knocked him out. After tying him up to make sure he didn't escape, she alarmed the castle who eventually flew into a panic. As everyone rushed to the princess' room she took the form of the doctor whom she just tied up. The diagnostic went as planned, and the head doctor stated her inability to recover. When she saw the King fall in despair, she secretly smiled.

Tristia followed the despaired King out to the balcony where there were no watchful eyes. She told the King of the Eternal Golden Crown and despite his hesitance, convinced him. After the King returned with the antidote, Tristia quickly assumed her maid appearance and untied the doctor. She filled in the doctor about the princess' condition and off he went. With everyone worrying about the princess' wellbeing, she had a chance to further help the Jikochu's essence come back. She helped the black liquid escape into the castle and then the rest was history.

As the Kingdom went crazy, Tristia saw the appearance of the Generals. She silently glared at them but stayed hidden. After King Jikochu sent them away, she decided to make her appearance.

"King Jikochu-sama, it's good to see your revival. Your revival was thanks to me." She said happily.

"Hmm…you are…" he muttered.

Tristia bowed. "King Jikochu, it's me Tristia, your loyal servant. I've waited 10,000 years for this moment. Please, allow me to follow your orders once more"

"Tristia…I thought I dispose of you already. You are weak. I have no need for weaklings"

"No King Jikochu! I'm not weak! I can prove to you. I'll do a better job this time!" she begged.

"Then paint this world black with Janergy" he ordered.

"As you wish" she replied. She turned around and saw the doctor she had tied up a while ago. "You shall be my pawn!" she shouted as she snapped her finger. Nothing happened. She snapped it again and again. Eventually the doctor got scared and ran away. 'Why…why can't I do it!? I saw Bel and them do it all the time back then! Am I still low on power?' she screamed in her head.

"You are useless. I have no need for useless beings. Disappear from my sight" he ordered.

"But King Jikochu!"

"BEGONE! It's an order!"

Tristia gritted her teeth in anger but nonetheless obeyed. The princess appeared soon after. Tristia viewed the events of the invasion from the sky. She saw humans being turned into Jikochu and then purified. She saw battles that occurred between the generals and knights. Most importantly, she saw the princess turn King Jikochu into stone.

She gritted her teeth again. 'Everything was going according to plan. Why! This is all Bel's fault!' she screamed in her head. Then she heard a scream. Tristia turned her head to see Lust's battle with the knights. Goma was with her. The two were outnumbered but still managed to keep up a good fight. After a few moments she saw Lust fall from battle. Soon after, Goma fell. As she saw their Janergy dissipate, she held out her hands and collected it. She turned them into two blood rings and wore them on her finger.

"With this, I should have enough power" she said to herself. Once more she tried to turn humans into Jikochu's however was unable to do so. 'WHY! I should have enough power right now. Why can't I!?' she wondered. 'Can it be, it's not power I'm lacking but my original form?'

She turned and tried to find Bel but he was nowhere in sight. Time passed and eventually all the humans were turned into Jikochu. A girl named Regina appeared by King Jikochu and continued to stay hidden when the remaining Generals appeared. She heard the plan. She heard King Jikochu's order to search for the princess. She also heard his order to collect Janergy to complete his revival. She saw the remaining team split into two groups after they were notified about Lust and Goma's death.

Tristia decided to avoid the area. She decided to follow Leva and Gula onto a different part of the universe and collect Janergy just the same. Upon arriving in the new world, Tristia took off the blood rings. She blew on it, dispersing the Janergy. Lust and Goma immediately appeared.

"Hmm? Where's this? Who's this brat?" Lust stated when she opened her eyes.

"My name is Tristia, I am your new master" she said. "You two will obey my orders. I order you to destroy this planet. Turn all the inhabitants of this planet into Jikochus and collect Janergy"

"I don't know who you are kid but we're not going to listen to you. We only obey King Jikochu" she replied as she started to walk away.

"King Jikochu and my will are the same. What I order will be for King Jikochu's sake"

"Okay brat, exactly who are you?"

"I am Tristia, King Jikochu's second in command and your new master"

"Tristia, never saw or heard of you. I'm not listening to you. Thanks for wasting my time" Lust said and she walked away. Goma followed her.

Tristia held out the palm of her hand in anger and snapped her fingers. Lust and Goma jolted in pain. Their Janergy started to flow back into her hand.

"What the!? What did you do brat!?"

"I don't think you remember but you two died in battle during the invasion of Trump Kingdom. I took a hold of your power and revived you here. If you don't want to follow my orders it's fine. I'll just revert you two back to your original forms" she explained. She slowly opened the palm of her hand and released the pain. "So…what's it going to be?"

Lust and Goma huffed. Goma was the first to get up. He walked over and bowed to her.

"G-Goma!" Lust exclaimed.

"A knight never forgets his debts. If you are my new master so be it. As long as your will is for King Jikochu I will follow it" he replied.

"Good. What's your answer then Lust?"

Lust snarled but walked over and did the same. "It would seem I have no other choice. Fine I'll follow your orders then. Tristia"

"It's Tristia-sama to you"

….

Tristia jolted awake from her nap because of a melody. She looked around and realized she was at the hideout. Nearby she saw a piano like Jikochu playing a song. It was a happy song.

"Cut that racket!" she shouted which scared the Jikochu. She used her powers to bring the music sheet in front of her. Using her powers she rearranged the notes and threw it back at it. "The melody is too happy. If you're going to play something, play this! A melody full of sorrow. A melody like me" The Jikochu complied and Tristia sank back into her seat.

"Tristia….-sama we've returned" Lust's voice called out.

Tristia looked up to see Lust and Goma on top of a balcony in front of her. The two jumped down and bowed in front of her at the audience floor.

After she forced the two as her servants, Tristia formed a weird bond with them. It was hard for her to get along with Lust but Goma at least followed his orders with no complaints. The two ended up finding out about her past during their travels. When Leva and Gula joined the team, she didn't have a chance to chat with them. Leva and Gula were easier to handle but Lust and Goma were still more trustworthy. However, in the end they were still master and servant. She knew they really hated her in the end but didn't care. Lust still had trouble remembering to call her with the –sama honorifics.

"I take it you have good news. Have the Precure finally been taken down? Did you bring Bel to me?" she asked.

"Um no but don't worry. We were just going easy on them. We plan to use them to lead us to Bel first and then finish them off" Lust said worriedly.

"There's no need for that" Tristia replied. "Bel will come to us soon. Along with the rest of them"

"How do you know that Tristia…-sama"

Tristia snapped her fingers and behind Lust and Goma appeared the Selfish Plant.

"Huh? This thing is still around? I thought it would be destroyed by now"

"Leva and Gula were useless but their plan wasn't bad. We'll continue their plan. The plant has finished planting the seeds in the Trump Kingdom and has already made its way to the human world. The Precure will notice and so will Bel. Eventually they'll come here"

"But Tristia…-sama, even if that's true how are you sure they'll come?"

"Because this place has already been discovered. The Precure will arrive soon along with the rest of them. The barrier has been removed." She looked down at her hands which still held Leva and Gula's blood rings. She took them off and threw it at them. "Here. Take this and take your posts by the entrance to prepare for battle. Don't let anyone get by you except for Ira and Bel. With this, King Jikochu will definitely be revived"

The two made a final bow and left to take their position outside the throne. After walking some steps, the two made it to a clearing of a cave.

"I'll guard the final door" Goma said as he took his position.

"That's fine by me. I'll make sure no one will get past me though" Lust replied. She continued down the road and eventually made her way forward. Her destination was a bowling alley. She got herself a large sundae and decided to wait.

"But still it's surprising how elaborate this plan of hers worked out" she muttered to herself as she thought back to the start.

….

The Selfish Trio returned to the bowling alley and started to appear for their 10,000 slumber. Ira closed his eyes and started to fall asleep. The sound of heels walking on the floor prevented him from falling asleep. Eventually Ira got agitated and got up.

"Marmo stop it with that annoying walking!" he complained as he shot up.

"It's not me!" Marmo defended. Sure enough, she was still sitting at the same spot with her drink.

"Something is coming" Bel stated as the three looked over in the pitch blackness. Sure enough, they saw two shadowy figures walking over to them. One slender and one big.

"Who's that?" Marmo muttered.

The figures made their way to the clearing and the three immediately recognized them.

"LUST AND GOMA!" they shouted.

"Ira, Marmo, Bel! Long time no see!" Lust exclaimed happily. "Man, this place is as dull as ever"

"What!? How can this be? I thought you two were defeated! You're alive!? Exactly where were you two this whole time!?" Marmo exclaimed.

"Chill woman. We are dead but no need to sweat over the details. We still did a proper job. Goma and I travelled all over the universe, destroyed planets, and collected Janergy. We should've collected enough right? We felt King Jikochu's revival so we immediately came back. So where is he!?"

"You missed him. The Precure already defeated him. It'll take another 10,000 years or so before he comes back. We're getting ready for our slumber. Ready to join us?" Ira replied as he started to lie back down.

"WHAT!? KING JIKOCHU HAS BEEN DEFEATED!?" a voice screeched. Ira jolted up and turned back to face the two entries.

Goma let Tristia, who had been resting on his back, down. She stood firmly on the ground and glared at the people in front of her. "No, he can't be gone. I refuse to wait another 10,000 years" she exclaimed.

"Hey Lust, who is this brat?" Marmo sighed.

"Tristia!?" Bel exclaimed.

"Huh"

Lust bent down to Tristia's height. She gave Marmo a wink. "This little 'brat' here is our master. She's apparently King Jikochu's second in command or something of that sort. She's the reason we're still here today" and she got up.

"King Jikochu's second in command? Don't make me laugh. You were abandoned by him. You have no power. I'm surprised you're still alive even after that" Bel commented.

Tristia turned her attention to Bel. Her eyes turned blood red as soon as she noticed him. "BEL!" she roared as she charged for him and grabbed him with her two hands. She immediately started choking him.

Marmo and Ira got up in alarm.

"Hey exactly what's going on with this brat!?" Marmo exclaimed.

"Bel" Tristia stated as her grip strengthened. "Look at your pathetic form right now. You are a sad excuse of a servant for King Jikochu"

Between choking breaths, Bel was able to reply "At least I'm still of use to him. You were abandoned"

"Oh not for long. I'll make sure he'll be completely revived this time. You can't handle such an important task. Allow me to take back the position you once stole" she said as her grip tightened even more and started to drain Bel of his remaining Janergy.

"Hey, what does that brat think she's doing?" Marmo exclaimed as she ran forward in poor attempts to save her comrade. Ira did the same.

Lust and Goma stood in between.

"We can't let you stand in between them" Goma stated.

"Tristia…..-sama has been waiting for this moment for a long time. If you were to bother her, she'll have our heads" Lust added.

"But he's hurting one of your comrades. Is that really okay with you?" Ira asked.

"Does it really matter to you? Bel has done a bunch of terrible things already especially to you two. He himself got rid of two of your old comrades, Leva and Gula. Even with that you still want to save him? If you let Tristia….-sama get her revenge she'll surely be able to lead you better. With her in command, we won't need to wait for another 10,000 years" Lust reasoned.

"Hmph, like I'm going to take orders from a brat, and more importantly you!" Marmo exclaimed.

"Fine be that way" Lust replied as the four broke out into a battle.

Meanwhile, Tristia was too happy to getting her powers back to care. With his final ounce of strength, Bel bit Tristia. She helped in pain and dropped him. Using this chance, Marmo took out her whip and snatched him away.

"Ira, Marmo, you saved me" Bel gasped.

"Don't think it's anything special. Something tells me it's your own fault again. The only reason I saved you is because I don't like this girl or Lust"

Tristia was giggling. The Janergy she felt surging throughout her body was so familiar it was comforting. "Ah, how I missed this. Just a while longer and I would've been complete" she laughed. "Now…hand him over" she said with a smile and held out her hand.

"I don't need a brat telling me what to do" Marmo replied.

"Hmm…I don't have anything against you. Fighting you will be useless" she stated as she walked around "I know, I'll prove it to you that I can revive King Jikochu very soon"

"And how exactly will you do that?" Marmo asked.

"Easy, we just use the same method that first created him. Humans will always be selfish. We just need to find someone that's extremely selfish and use him as a catalyst. If that method is hard, we just need to find a group of humans that are as selfish as we are and use them as a catalyst"

"And where in the world will we get that? After the Precure defeated King Jikochu this time around, it would seem humans are going to be cautious about their selfish desires. Finding one will be hard now"

Tristia stopped to think. She turned to face the trio and gave an evil smile. "Why….there's one right here" she said as she slowly walked over to them. Marmo backed away but Tristia wasn't aiming for her. She walked over to Ira instead.

"I can hear it. I can see it. Your wavering heart" she looked up at him and said.

"What?" Ira stated.

"I can hear it. You're confused. You're having a mental war between your Jikochu duties and your own feelings" she stated and started prancing around the room like a little girl. "What does your heart say? Ah yes, you want to be with a Precure but in the end you're enemies so you can't. In the end you ultimately chose King Jikochu's side and abandoned any hope. You didn't want to fight her. You went easy on her many times. You saved her too. Oh this is rich! Doesn't his sound familiar Goma?" she laughed and then turned her head to Goma.

"What, exactly what are you yammering about" Ira stuttered.

Tristia ignored him. "Yes, yes. Serving King Jikochu is your top priority you know that. You chose the correct path. Now it's time to continue down that path again. Submit your heart to King Jikochu and become the catalyst for his revival!" she stated loudly.

"Hey hold it brat, I thought you said human" Marmo stated.

"Yes a human would be the usual choice but Ira is displaying a huge amount of selfish callings. A Selfish General with that amount of desires will work just as well." Tristia answered.

"Bel also did the same thing. He absorbed Jikochu's power and instead got consumed instead. If Ira does the same thing, wouldn't the same thing happen to him?"

"Bel is weak. He couldn't have pulled off such a stunt. But you Ira, you can. Don't worry, about not being yourself. I'll be the host for King Jikochu. All you have to do is follow my instructions. I'll throw in a bonus too. You submit your new selfish desires and revive King Jikochu. In exchange, I'll grant your wish. I'll make it possible to live that life you so desire in your heart" Tristia shouted with glee.

Ira could feel his selfish desires growing even more.

"Don't do it Ira" Bel stated. "You'll disappear." Ira felt his desires start to shrink. Tristia saw this and gave a glare. Her smile disappeared.

"This is getting nowhere. Lust, you do it" she growled.

"As you wish" Lust replied as she raised up a hand and snapped her fingers. Ira immediately felt the desires surging up once more.

"You should be proud, I'm choosing you Ira. I'll make sure your contributions won't go unheard" she said.

"This is getting bad! Marmo!" Bel exclaimed.

"So annoying" Marmo replied. She quickly grabbed Ira and made a run for it. She needed to get out of there so she decided to teleport. Teleport back into the human world.

"You won't escape" Tristia boomed as she stomped her foot and the whole area turned into a dark tunnel portal.

"Damn we need to do this the old fashion way then" Marmo muttered as she quickly floated to the other side of the portal.

"You won't get away!" Tristia exclaimed as she sent Lust and Goma after them. She followed them with a beam of energy that hit Ira. Ira felt his desires grow even more out of control.

"I don't really want to give in but the temptation is there" Ira muttered.

"Hey, don't you start giving up on me brat. I don't need two annoying brats under my watch" Marmo complained.

Ira closed his eyes and started to fly with Marmo on his own. He closed his eyes.

'It would've been nice if we had just lived a normal life. No Jikochus. No Precure. Then none of this stupid stuff would've happened' he thought. Suddenly, a dark light emitted from his chest blinding everybody. It stopped Lust and Goma in their tracks and gave the trio the chance to escape.

By the time the light disappeared, Tristia, Lust, and Goma were back in the bowling alley.

"They went to the human world. Stop them before they do something stupid like seek help from the Precure" she ordered. The two followed their orders and teleported away. They soon returned.

"It would seem that both the human world and Trump Kingdom are in a dangerous situation right now" Lust stated.

"What do you mean?" Tristia asked.

"The power we kept placing inside Ira's psyche exploded and now the world seems to be rewriting itself to his desires" Goma replied.

"Damn, that was a blunder on my part" she stated as she bit her nail deep in thought. "Wait you said it's rewriting itself?"

"Yes. It would seem like Ira and Marmo are somehow in the human world right now. They're passed out but that's not all. They seem to be in a house right now. I suspect it to be one of Ira's desires"

"This might work out well after all" she stated before teleporting away.

"Tristia….-sama?" Lust stated dumbfounding on what to do.

Tristia teleported to the human world and sure enough it was being showered with a dark light right now. "I can hear it Ira, you want to live a normal life" she muttered and then smirked. "Let me grant that wish of yours." She held out her hand. "Since I was able to get back some of my power, I'll do this for you Ira. I'll erase everyone's memory about us. This way, no one can interfere." She blew some dust off her palm and it added to the dark light. "Think of this as a bonus. When you come to your senses, you can come back and give your thanks." Just when she was about to leave she saw a group of girls in the distance.

"Those must be the new Precure" she muttered to herself. "They have the Magical Lovely Pad….I can't erase that much memory of their abilities so I'll do the next best thing." Tristia teleported to where the Precure were located and immediately attacked them in the confusion.

"What the!?" Cure Heart exclaimed as she turned around. However she was able to see nothing because of the dark light that was surrounding her.

Suddenly a hand shot out at all the girls. One went for Regina's glaive and others went to the Loveads the girls possessed. Her hand got repelled by the glaive so she retreated it. However she felt a few loveads in her hand and decided to leave it at that. However, before she could leave, she felt a burning light on her hand and heard a "kyupi!" She ended up dropping the Loveads and teleported back to the hideout.

When Tristia returned, Lust and Goma immediately went to her side. Tristia fell and rubbed her injured arm. She was breathing heavily. "Damn….once again I'm low on power" she muttered.

"What now?" Goma asked.

"The plans have changed a bit. We'll take advantage of the scenario Ira set up for us" she replied as she cradled her arm.

"So you want us to infiltrate the human world?" Lust asked.

Tristia looked down on her hands. On her hand she realized she was still wearing two blood rings. The rings of Leva and Gula. When she felt Leva and Gula's Janergy disappear she temporarily returned to the human world to collect their power. In her shock she saw Bel using their power but he failed. As the rings fell out of his possession during the battle with the Precure and started to dissipate, she took the fragments to herself and turned them into her own rings. The power was weakened due to the transfer but still made it.

"No" she replied. She removed the rings from her hand and held them out. Just like what happened to Lust and Goma, the rings transformed into Leva and Gula.

"Huh?" what's going on?" Gula wondered.

"You two, you desire revenge on Bel don't you?" she stated.

The two turned to face the voice.

"Lust and Goma! And who's this kid?" Leva asked.

"We can save the details for later. You two were killed off by Bel, do you recall? I have revived you. You two are now under my control. In exchange for your service, I'll grant you one thing. The ability to get your revenge on Bel. How does that sound" she said.

"I don't really understand what's going on but there's only one thing that pipes my interest. You said revenge on Bel?" Leva asked.

"Yes" Tristia replied. She gave them a shortened version on the events that just occurred. "What I need you two to do is infiltrate the human world. You two will search Bel who is now hidden away. When you find him, I don't care what you do to him. In the end, he must be in my possession whether it's his physical body or his Janergry. While you're down in the human world, I need you two to collect Janergy for King Jikochu's revival. Do you two accept this mission?"

"If we don't you're going to kill us aren't you?" Gula asked. Tristia nodded.

"Well we're back now and killing Bel is the only thing I need to do. Alright we'll accept your mission" Leva replied.

"The only instructions I have for you. Don't let the Precure remember anything about the Jikochus"

The two bowed and made their way to the human world.

"Tristia…sama, why did you send those two?" Lust asked.

"Distractions. They will serve as distractions and to buy us time" Tristia replied as she got up. "Meanwhile, we'll set the stage for the real thing" She snapped her fingers. "We'll start with a makeover of this place.

….

"Wait so you're saying the whole reason this happened, is because of Ira!?" Rikka exclaimed.

Ira stood there looking dumbfounded. "That's right…I remember now. I was the one who wished for this" he muttered.

"Yes, and what's done is done." Bel responded.

"But wait, I have a question why weren't you affect by the memory loss? I clearly was and Ira was too. What made you special?" Marmo asked.

"Tristia and my power are all the same. It'll be stupid to be affect by your own power. You might not remember Marmo but when we arrived, you were actually the first one to react. You set up a barrier so we couldn't be found. As a result, I was able to rest peacefully for a few days to regain my powers. It was annoying to not be able to talk but I was sure you two would remember everything eventually"

"But wait. If her goal is to revive King Jikochu, why are you here telling this to us? What's your gain in all of this? Don't you want him to be revived too?" Makoto asked.

"Yes I do but at this moment if he was to be revived I wouldn't be number Uno. Instead, Tristia will get all the glory and the same fate that she was supposed to meet will me my fate instead"

"Alright, so now we just have to find them once again and stop them from reviving King Jikochu once more" Mana stated.

"I expect them to be at the hideout right now but that's probably off limits"

"It is. I tried to go multiple times" Ira replied.

"Umm…." Joe spoke. Everyone turned his attention to him.

"I don't really get much because I guess I'm still affected by this memory thing but I think I might be able to help regardless. Your hideout wouldn't happen to be a bowling alley would it?"

"Why yes it is? How do you know?" Bel asked.

"It's because I know where it is. I actually been there recently" he replied.

Tear Droplet: This chapter…..WAS LOOONG! But it was easy to type because it lacked dialogue. Do you know how hard it is to think of lines for everyone to say so they're not background characters in your head? TOO MANY CHARACTERS. Anyway, this was the main thing about my story. This is what was hidden from you readers this WHOLE time. Surprised? I would think so but at the same time I wouldn't. I left really small hints here and there.

Now that you read this chapter, I'll tell you more about the sin Tristitia on which my original character Tristia was based on. Tristitia was originally one of the sins. But then some point in time, it was written out and combined with Acedia, the sin of sloth. In other words, the sin Bel represented. I took this to my advantage and based Tristia's back story on this. Honestly speaking, Tristia was not supposed to be the original villain of this story but because of circumstances I needed her to appear. That's why I have this elaborate backstory planned out and needed a whole chapter just for her. (Think about it. Don't you think it was weird for the doctor to suggest to the King to retrieve the Eternal Golden Crown? Here's my explanation for it)

I skipped a few minor details but they were minor so I think it was fine. This chapter is long enough.

(Random fun fact: Tristia's fake name that she gave to the Precure [Tame] is a female Japanese name that means unselfish [at least that's what I found out when selecting a fake name]).

I would like to thank the following people.

Reviews:

Leaf-Aprillia: Alright, it's good that you don't mind OC's. I used to have a few more reviewers and now I don't. I fear my OCs turned them away. Anyway, yeah Tristia is a kid but here's her back story which doesn't make her a kid? I don't know how you want to view it because of this backstory. Fear the power of children! Anyway, I hope you enjoyed this LOOONG chapter. School as resumed for me (yes I'm a student) and so now I'll be uploading biweekly instead of weekly now. See you in two weeks

Muhammad Izzat Awwal: I feel so proud to have a dedicated reader. The other reason to continue the story is because you actually like the story? I don't know what to really answer. Let's see as for your impressions, they're a little off from mine. Goma's description is a little close though, the only thing I would say is off is that I placed him in armor instead of a butler uniform. As for Lust…I didn't watch/read Full Metal alchemist but based on the pictures I googled of her, I say that's a little close. Since it'll be two weeks before my next update, I'll try to ready a rough conceptual design with my terrible artistic skills. Honestly speaking, I don't have a full idea either.

Tristia is an original character. She has nothing to do with the series. She's totally fictional. I based her off the sin Tristitia. You can read a shorten explanation above or research that sin yourself. When I imagine her, I kind of imagine her looking a little like Alicia from Tales of Symphonia (I don't know why). Tristia actually wasn't supposed to appear in my story but due to circumstances, I had her created. This is how she got her servants.

Bel's chu, was just an onomatopoeia of the sounds anime make mouse makes. If you go back to when you first see Bel the mouse in the anime, he goes 'chu'. I imagined him saying it the same way but if you want him to be high pitched active like Ai, that works just as well.

It's fine if you skip the fighting part. I would skip it too. Most of the scenes are just repeat of words of the actual anime because I have no imagination anyway.

I don't mind the rant. The more ideas someone has of the story makes me feel even better. It makes me know where I flawed and what my readers really think of the story. Since I'll be returning to reality this week, I won't be updating for another two weeks so I'll see you then. Feel free to give a long thought on this chapter as well.

Tear Droplet: I will be resuming my student life so this story will not be uploaded on a weekly basis anymore. Instead, I'll try to make it biweekly. There are no guarantees since sometimes I might have time to upload early and sometimes I'll be too busy. This story is expected to end in a couple of chapters so please look forward to the ending. This very long chapter should make up for the difference. See you all in two weeks!
