I'm so sorry I took so long to post again! I was having a minor case of writer's block. I'm back now though. Thank you so much for the reviews. They keep me going. So, without further ado, here is chapter eleven!

Chapter Eleven

Skye woke up that morning(this time at a normal hour) with a huge smile on her face, and slightly damp hair. Everything that had happened in the quiet hours of the early morning seemed almost like a dream. But is wasn't. And that's what had made it so special.

Meanwhile, Rosalind was having a less pleasant morning. She couldn't deny that she liked Cagney, but she knew what the two had done was flat out cheating, and it wasn't fair to Tommy. He had done nothing wrong, he didn't deserve it. She knew that she was going to have to let one of them go. And that knowledge weighed on her heart like a brick. She got out of bed and into her clothes, the whole while think "Tommy or Cagney? Tommy or Cagney?". She decided that she would have to just wait and see how she felt later on. But she wasn't satisfied with that. She went back to trying to make her decision, but it just seemed to get harder and harder. Her brain was spinning so fast, she thought she could hear the pounding inside it. But then she realised it was the door. Someone was knocking.

"Come in," she said. The door opened and Hound entered. She was spared a moment of confusion by Batty following soon after.

"Hello Batty." Batty seemed sad. She sat down on Rosalind's bed and looked down at the floor like something had happened.

"What's wrong?"

"Everybody's acting weird and won't tell me what's going on," she said. "Skye is being even more closed off to me than usual, and is also being really weird. Jane is weird a lot because of Sabrina Starr so I guess that's not knew. And you seem to be sad. And nobody will tell me what's happening!" Rosalind sighed. Batty was too young to understand what was happening, but she understood the young girls eager to know.

"Batty, listen," she said. "I can't tell you what's happening with Skye, because that's not my decision to make. However, I can tell you that I'm not sad. I'm just confused." Batty seemed at least somewhat satisfied.

"Okay," she said. She and Hound then left, leaving Rosalind, once again, feeling lonely and unsure.

Later that day, Skye met Jeffrey on the field where they play soccer.

"Okay," she said, suddenly serious. "Last night was amazing."

"Thank you."

"But we need to work out some logistics."

"Only you would bring up logistics." She ignored his comment.

"I like you, and want to be with you."

"Great. I do too. So Skye, will you be my girlfriend?"

"Of course, dofus! Anyway, back to logistics. It's not exactly a long distance relationship, but it's not like we live across the street from each other or anything. So we both need to be willing to do that."

"Of course I'm willing," he said.

"Great. Now we get to the more challenging part. I'm sure my family will be thrilled, but what's your mom gonna say?" Jeffrey fell silent.

"Can we just not tell her?" he said after a minute. Skye laughed. Jeffrey loved her laugh, he always had.

"As much as I really want to take you up on that offer, we can't hide it forever."

"I wish we could though," he said with a small twinge of regret.

"Now hold your horses," she said. "I'm not saying we can't hide it for a little while."

There you go! I hope you enjoyed that. Thank you all for reading and please review.
