A/N: REWRITTEN

Hours later and I was still trapped in the metal chair. Derek was getting electrocuted and beaten by a bald hunter, and each time I would feel it.

Once the hunter returned, I dropped my head and sighed.

Using my telekinesis, a crate flew across the room, the lights flickered on and off and another crate shattered to pieces.

"What was that?" The hunter asked.

"Ghost," I lied groggily.

"Really, ghost?" He quizzed.

"Right in front of your eyes is a werewolf, yet you don't believe ghosts are real?" I asked. I kept going. "You know, I read you can feel their presence." Soft wind flowed in the room. The door slid opened and shut.

I lifted my head and saw Derek watching me, I gave him a small smile before putting my attention back on the hunter.

"Right now I'm seeing dead people." Lying once again.

"Oh really?"

"Yeah," I nodded. "Standing at the door is Elijah. You remember him, right?" I chuckled darkly. "Of course you do, you were there that night. You held me back. But he's really angry right now." Another crate burst open and I had to resist the urge to flinch at the volume.

"If you're here for an apology, you won't get one," the hunter said to no one.

I watch too much Ghost Hunters. I giggled then groaned, which caught both males attention.

"What's wrong with you?" He asked.

"Nothing, it's fine," I lied. "I'm fine." The electricity burns were still stinging.

"Sorry about this," I heard Derek say just as I was falling asleep. Then he howled real loud and I so wanted to cover my ears.

"Wha–what was that for?" I asked, wincing at the ringing in my ears.

"Scott, he's coming for us," Derek answered.

The bald hunter came back once again.

"Ready to have to have some more fun? To be honest, my knuckles are kind of hurting. So I brought some help." I angled my head to see him holding up a bat. "But I need to warm you, I used to play in college."

He went to swing at Derek, but he caught the bat with his unchained arm.

"I brought a little help too."

The hunter looked back to see Scott at the door, Derek took that opportunity to knock him out.

"Scott, help with this."

"No," came his reply.

"What?"

"Not until you tell me how to stop Peter."

I sighed, looking back at them, "You really want to talk about this now?"

"He's going after Allison and your family. He's going to kill them."

"So what?" Derek yelled.

I winced.

"So tell me how to stop him."

"You can't! All right? Now... I don't know when Kate's coming back so just get me out of this right now. Get me out right now!"

"Promise you'll help me," Scott said calmly.

"You want me to risk my life for your girlfriend, huh? For your stupid little teenage crush that means absolutely nothing? You're not in love , Scott. You're 16 years old. You're a child." I watched Derek rant, and it made my chest ache. His eyes cut to me and softened a little bit. I turned away, not wanting to look at him.

"Maybe you're right," Scott said quietly, "but I know something you don't. Peter said he didn't know what he was doing when he killed your sister, right? He lied. Remember this? This is what brought your sister back to Beacon Hills, right?"

"Where'd you get that?"

"My boss told me three months ago someone came into the clinic asking for a copy of this picture. Do you want to know who it was? Peter's nurse." Jennifer? "They brought your sister here so that Peter could kill her and become the Alpha, and that's why you're going to help me."

I frowned as the chain softly crashed together.

"Just say you'll me," Scott slowly started to walk out, "and I'll help you unlock your other..."

The sound of chains breaking echoed in the area, followed by and 'I'll help you' from Derek.

He came into my view, crouching down to untie my legs and my wrist. Once he done that, I stood up and pushed passed him, almost knocking him over.

I could see Scott staring at me with wide eyes.

Once we got out of the tunnel, my eyes widened once I realised that Derek and I were held captive underneath did old home.

"Hold on," I heard Derek panting behind me, "hold on. Something doesn't feel right."

"What do you mean?" Scott asked.

"I mean something doesn't feel right." I turned around and looked at Derek with raised eyebrows. "It's kind of like getting out of there...I don't know. It was...it was kind of like is was..."

"No, don't say 'too easy'. People say 'too easy' and bad things happen."

"What, did you thinking finding you was easy? Getting away from Madison's dad? None of this has been easy. So if things are going right for, like, two seconds, can we just not question it? Can we just shut up and thank God that we finally have the tiniest bit of luck for once?" Wow, go Scott! I stifled a laugh.

"Fine," Derek sighed, "you're right."

"Thanks you," Scott said.

The sound of an arrow flew in the air and I watched as punctured Derek in the shoulder, he fell to the ground. When he tried to stand up, he was shot in the leg.

I looked in the direction from where the arrows came from and saw Allison and Kate.

My jaw dropped and eye widened.

"Cover your eyes!" Derek yelled.

But it was too late for me. I fell to the ground, temporary blinded. I blinked multiply times before my vision came back.

"Madison?" I heard Allison gasp.

I gave her a sorry look, before glaring at Kate.

I scrambled up and started running in heels for the Hale House with Scott and Derek following.

"Allison, I can explain," Scott pleaded.

"Stop lying. For once stop lying," she spat.

"I was gonna tell you the truth at the formal. I was gonna tell you everything. Because everything that I said, everything that I did..."

"Was to protect me," Allison finished.

"Yes."

"I don't believe you," she told him with tears in her eyes.

"Thank God. Now, shoot him before I have to shoot myself."

"You...you said we were just gonna catch them?"

"We did that. Now we're gonna kill them." I yelped when Kate shot Derek in the chest because it actually hurt me. "See? Not that hard."

"Allison, please don't," I whispered to my sister.

"Oh no... I know that look. That's the 'you're gonna have to do it yourself' look." I ran over to Derek, checking to see if he was still alive.

He groaned quietly before I could check for a pulse.

"Kate, Kate, what are you doing?" I heard Allison panicking. Looking back, I saw Kate pointing a gun to Scott's head, pushing Allison to the ground. "I love those brown eyes."

I heard Dad call out to Kate. I looked over to see him. How did he know where to be? "I know what you did. Put the gun down." Suddenly, I got distracted, forgetting about Derek and stood up, walking over to Dad.

"I did what I was told to do," she defended herself.

"Just like you were told to kill Elijah and the Roycroft's?" I asked, clenching my jaw.

"They would of came after us," she said, referring to the Roycroft's.

"No one asked you to murder innocent people," Dad protested, "there were children in that house, ones who were human. Now look at you, you're holding a gun to a sixteen year old boy with no proof that he spilled human blood. We go by the code," then he spoke the code in French.

"We hunt those who hunt us," Allison translated.

"Put the gun down," Dad, pulling the gun out, shooting the tree behind her, "before I put you down."

She listened causing me to sigh in relief.

My attention was drawn to the Hale House, the door opened eerily.

"Allison, get back," I ordered coldly, standing behind Dad.

"What is it?" Allison asked.

"It's the Alpha," Scott answered.

A blurred figure ran out of the house on all fours, taking out Dad. He flipped him over, knocking him out cold.

I breathed heavily, scanning the surroundings. It was too dark to see anything.

Next was Allison, only she wasn't knocked out. And then the next thing I know, I'm being across the place. I groaned, landing on some thing hard like a brick wall.

Then the wall groaned–wait, walls don't groan.

I opened my eyes and met the very familiar green ones.

"You okay?" I breathed out.

He gave me a 'what do you think?' look causing me to nod shortly.

I climbed off him, sitting on my legs. My eyes were drawn the the bullet wound.

"I need to get it out," I said, mostly to myself.

"Look who cares after all," I heard him mutter softly.

I deliberately put pressure on the wound causing him to groan, "I'm sorry, what was that?"

He clenched his jaw and glared at me. In return, all I did was smile sarcastically.

Next thing I know, I hear Allison yelling.

"No!"

"Allison, stop!" I yelled, following her into the Hale House. This is a suicide mission.

I came to a stop and started at Peter behind Kate, his hand clutched tightly around her throat. Allison had tears in her eyes. All I could do was stare.

"She's beautiful, Kate," he stated, looking at Allison. "She looks like you. Probably not as damaged. So I'm going to give you chance to save her."

"Apologise," Peter demanded in a voice full of emotion, "say that you're sorry for decimating my family, for leaving me burned and broken for six years. Say it. And I'll let her live."

In that moment, I saw that Kate was truly afraid. "I'm sorry," she said in a shaky voice.

The alpha just smiled and slit Kate's throat. My eyes widened. "I don't know about you, but that apology...didn't sound very sincere." Peter went straight for Allison but I moved in front of her. "Move," he growled.

"No," I simply said.

"Run, Allison," I whispered.

"I'll just kill you too," he shrugged. Peter grabbed my throat and threw me against the wall.

I groaned then chuckled dryly. "You're gonna have to do better then that," I responded with a bit of snark. He stalked over to me but then was pushed away.

I looked up and saw Derek. "Are you trying to get yourself killed?" He growled, pulling me up from the floor. I rolled my eyes and he helped me to the door.

Scott got thrown threw the window, followed by the Alpha jumping out.

I saw a silver Porsche pull up and Jackson and Stiles exited the vehicle. Stile threw a Molotov cocktail at Peter in his alpha form, but he caught it. Glancing down to the ground, I saw the crossbow. I picked it up and thought for a second if I should shoot.

I aimed the crossbow at Peter who still held the cocktail and pulled the trigger. I gasped, dropping the bow as Peter's arm burst into flames. I did that!

Then Jackson threw another one, causing Peter to be covered in flames. Roaring in pain.

He started stumbling towards Allison and Dad, but Scott kicked him away.

I watched in fascination when Peter dropped to the ground

Derek made his way over to his uncle. Scott tried his best to stop Derek from killing Peter, but the alpha egged him on. The older beta raised his claws and swiped across Peters throat.

"I'm the alpha now." His eyes glowed crimson.

Silence pierced my hearing until Dad called out to me.

"Madison, let's go." I dragged my eyes away from Derek.

"I need to do something first," I said, making my way back into the Hale House.

Untying my coat, I put it over my hand and used it to pull out the hunter necklace out so it was showing on Kate's body.

I stood up, put my coat back on and walked back out like nothing happened.

"What did you do?" Scott asked.

"I got justice," I responded, resting my head on Dad's shoulder. He rubbed his hand up and down my forearm. I glanced at Derek who was staring at right back at me, "So everyone will know the truth."

I walked back to the Hale House later that night. Derek had messaged me earlier, wanting to talk to me. It took me about a hour to decide whether I was going to see him. I raised my hand to knock, but the door swung open. I jumped back a little, heart racing.

"You wanted to see me," I said after clearing my throat.

"You're late," he said calmly.

"Hmm, I didn't know there was a timer," I snarked, stepping inside the burnt building.

I purposely ignored to room where Kate was left. I sat down on the staircase, resting my elbows on my knees. I raised my eyebrows from him to start talking.

"I wanted to say thank you. For what you did earlier," he started.

"It wasn't just for you," I interrupted.

"But I'm still grateful. By tomorrow, everyone will know what really happened six years ago...well, most of it. So, thank you. It kind of feels good."

"No worries," I smiled, "Is that it? 'Cause I've got some stuff to do."

"Right now? It's almost twelve," he shook her head.

"Yeah, well, there just something I need to get done," I fibbed.

"You're not controlling your heart," he pointed out.

Damnit! I though I was.

I cautiously watched as he walked over to me and sat in the step next to me.

"Why are you lying?" He asked quietly.

"I'm not," I lied, controlling my heartbeat.

"You were," he whispered.

His eyes dropped to my lips and I watched as he started to lean in.

"No," I whispered, getting off the stairs and standing in front of him. "I have actual feelings for you, but I am trying to get over you, don't you see that?" I was met with silence, causing me to sigh. I began to turn around, but he reached out and grabbed my wrist, spinning me around to face him.

"I don't want you to stop caring about me," Derek admitted, "I–I love you." Those sound like foreign words. "I had never thought I'd love anyone after what Kate did, but I do. And I know you're nothing like her, you're completely the opposite of everything she was and I like that. You're fearless, kind and you tend to put others before yourself even though it annoys the crap out of me because you could get hurt in the process." The whole time, I was feeling his heartbeat beneath my palm on his chest. It was steady, it was the truth. "I tried to stay away from you but I can't and won't."

My heart was beating fast and I could tell Derek heard it by the smirk on his face. I resisted the urge to roll my eyes.

My hands cupped both sides of his face, feeling his small stubble. "If I give in, you could end up dead and I don't want that to happen. My dad and the hunters will be looking for you," I told him.

"I can take care of myself," he responded. I nodded shortly before leaning my forehead against his.

"I love you too," I told him quietly.

"I know," he said with a small genuine smile.

I closed my eyes and slowly leaned in, and kissed him softly. Derek's hand slipped around my back and pushed me closer to him. The kiss intensified as he swiftly lifted me up, I tightly wrapped my legs around his waist.

My hands went to his shoulders and pushed back his leather jacket then I managed to get his shirt off while still attached to him.

I broke the kiss and got down.

He looked confused, which was honestly way too cute.

I smirked up at him, before moving around him and up the stairs. The first room I checked must of been his because it was less damaged and there was a bed and duffels full of clothes.

I closed the door and switched on the portable lamp on the side table. I quickly stripped off all my clothes, leaving me in my pale pink bra and matching underwear. I took my hair out of the ponytail and ruffled it around. Hopping on the bed, I posed seductively.

My heart thumped in my chest as the bedroom door opened.

Derek's eyes wandered all over me, darkening with lust.

I blinked innocently, silently begging him to come over.
