Woop. Sorry I haven't been updating lately.

Please read the last chapie if you must to remember what happened last before reading this one.

"It's nice to be home now, huh?" Chiaki says, relaxing back against the couch in the living room. "Usami's people sure know how to be in mob formation!"

"Uh, yeah..." Misaki says, glancing worriedly out the window. "You don't think some of them followed us home?" All he could remember perfectly was Akihiko's 'You'll be mine soon' look before his people dragged him and his future sister-in-law away with their soldiers.

"There's no one," Ritsu says knowingly, drinking his mug of tea in the kitchen. "Although..." he narrows his eyes out the window to look at the creature Shinobu was playing with. "There's something about that wolf..."

"No!" They hear Masamune shout from the front of the house, and Shouta ran through from the front door to Ritsu, his feline tail lashing once.

"Can I stay here?" Shouta asks quickly, having followed them home.

Ritsu was startled as the cat hybrid grabbed his hands with his, eyes pleading. "H-huh? Here?"

"Yeah!" Ritsu didn't miss the irritated presence now behind him, trying to glare Shouta down.

"I-I don't think I have any more rooms available-"

"He can room with me!" Chiaki interrupts, beaming over at them.

"Oh..." Ritsu nods in approval, trying to get his hands out of Shouta's. "Okay, you can-"

"Yes!" The rabbit hybrid stiffens as Shouta gives him a happy peck to the cheek before going to jump on Chiaki, both of them shouting, "Roommates!"

[SHOUTA HAS JOINED THE PARTY!]

Masamune groans in disapproval.

Shouta's info:

(Lvl. 300) Shouta: A cat-hybrid fire mage who also has some power in Earth/Ground-based attacks. Is older than he looks, and likes doriyaki for snack time. His followers/stalkers/former boyfriends believe his is half succubus for some odd reason. Also, his stats are about even apart from low physical attack and high special attack.

"I'll show you where it is!" Chiaki says excitedly, and they go upstairs.

"Why, Ritsu?" Masamune asks sitting down next to him at the table.

"I don't see anything wrong with it," Ritsu mumbles, distracted with the wolf outside with Shinobu. The size of it tugged something in Ritsu's mind. Something familiar...

Exhausted, Shinobu lay back on the grass, looking up at the cloud-filled sky. With a glance he took to the wolf beside him, he wondered where it's owner was.

The wolf was, he noticed, older, seeing the barely visible gray along its muzzle. Still though, it was very powerful, and it was very obvious that it faked losing to him during tug-of-war.

Could he ride on it? He glances again; it was larger than the average wolf. It would be so cool if he could ride on it...

Suddenly its face was in front of his, and Shinobu blinked in confusion at the dark eyes that were staring into his. "What?" Promptly, the wolf stands over him before laying on him, its head on Shinbou's chest. The younger grunts at the heaviness. "You're heavy!" Shinobu complains, trying to push it off.

Whimpering softly, the wolf stays in place, and Shinobu sighs in defeat. "You win this time, old man."

"Where's your owner anyway?" Shinobu asks some moments later, petting it.

As if to answer his question, a muffled call was heard from afar accompanied by small birds flying away from the sound. The wolf's ears perked up, and slowly, reluctantly, it got up and ran in silence.

"Hey, where's it going?" Shouts Misaki from inside the house.

"I don't know!" Shinobu shouts back, getting up and brushing grass off his clothes before heading inside.

"Are you sure you're alright?" Takafumi asks for the umpteenth time this evening.

"I'm fine! Really!" Hiyori huffs adorably, crossing her arms. "Mr. Chiaki and everybody kept me safe." They were sitting in front of the house on the grass eating dinner since it was still nice out.

Takafumi flinched as Zen sat beside him, their knees touching. "Looks like we owe them one, huh?"

Lips pursed, Takafumi nodded, wondering how Masamune was doing then with Ritsu. After he had sent his friend flying off and remembering his crushed cell phone he wondered if it was really necessary to buy him a replacement since he didn't use the cell phone often.

"Are we going to see them again?" asks Hiyori, taking a bite of some bread.

"I don't know," answers Takafumi, frowning in thought; they never got a word to where Chiaki, and now Masamune, were staying. Considering that he himself sent Masamune flying somewhere East maybe from their workplace, maybe they were across past the forested areas to another opening near the ocean?

Laughter was heard among the wind as little Ritsu walked alongside his little mermaid friend, who glanced around with some annoyance.

"How is this hide and seek when we can hear you guys laughing?!" she huffs to the trees, her blue eyes narrowing. She looks to Ritsu. "We should have gone with Uncle and Auntie to that place with An. She's probably lonely without us!"

Ritsu glanced about, wary. "It's not 'Uncle and Auntie,' Su, what if someone bad is listening?"

"Hey, you hear more than me," she says, hands on her hips as they walk. "Is there anyone bad listening to us?"

"No, but-"

"Then I can say 'Uncle and Auntie,' and you can say 'Papa' and 'Auntie.'"

"B-but..." he trails off, and he squeaks in fear when he was suddenly carried up.

"Got you!" he looks to see, and grown Ritsu stirs in his sleep, seeing the two oddly familiar women who was carrying up his younger self and Sumiko.

"Sweetie, try to be more fearless," said the woman carrying him. He couldn't help but smile when she brought him up to kiss him on the forehead affectionately. Her brown eyes rounded to dark gray ones, and she frowned. "What are you doing?

The dark, long-haired woman scoffs, continuing her actions. "What am I doing? Preparing her for life." She was holding up Sumiko by her feet, the latter swinging to and fro trying to bend up to touch her feet in determination.

"Stop that!" The brunette says, along with a more worried and flustered Ritsu.

"What trouble are you two up to now?" Hearing the man's voice, they turn to two men walking out from the right side in front of them.

Ritsu stirs again in his sleep, finding the newcomers familiar as well.

The woman carrying him ruffled up a little. "Trouble?" She holds him tight, with a pout. "I don't know what you're talking about." She glances to the quiet one of the two men, the bear hybrid with green eyes, a light blush dusting her cheeks.

"And what are you two doing hanging about?" asks her dark-haired friend, now holding Sumiko properly in her arms. "I would think a ninja and a bear together of your heights bring more suspicion than two pretty-looking nymphs."

"Oh come on, you two are more suspicious, kidnapping children-"

"We're babysitting!" the women huff, angered to be accused of such a thing.

"Stop it, Takatsuki," the bear hybrid speaks up, giving him a look. "This is not how you court your future mate. We're not like you ninjas."

"W-who sa-said I-I was courting?!" sputters the sandy blond, a quick look to the now amused dark-haired nymph.

While they go into a small banter with a bored Sumiko, the bear hybrid goes up to Ritsu and the brunette nymph. "Babysitting for Michel and Narumi? Didn't see them pass by the village."

"Ah, it was a little urgent. Ritsu and Sumiko came here all by themselves!"

He was quiet for a moment, before saying, "Doesn't that mean they're capable now, of taking care of themselves?"

All was suddenly quiet.

He speaks again, looking at Ritsu and Sumiko. "You guys visiting on your own accord instead of staying at home?"

They look at each other before nodding at him.

"Then, it's not babysitting, it's..." "Ritsu... Ritsu..."

Blinking awake, Ritsu turned to see Shouta looking down at him, troubled. It's morning now. "What's wrong?" he asks, yawning and trying to move with Masamune's hold on him.

"I just woke up and I heard something explode but I'm not sure if I should go down there..."

"Oh." Remembering that he had a sound barrier in his room, and figuring that it was either Chiaki or Shinobu he sighs, suddenly feeling tired. "Just... don't worry about it." He shuffles closer to Masamune and relaxes, pulling the blanket up to his shoulders. "It happens a lot."

"Oh, okay," Shouta says, curious now to see what was happening in the kitchen.

Sumi was taken away by the Usami mob and so was Akihiko and Sumiko, and the soldiers. Hiyori went with them to get back to Zen and Takafumi. And then all of them went home. I didn't want to deal with typing that all out.

Miyagi wolf tagged along until Hiroki called out his name very angrily, which is when he leaves Shinobu.

Should I still do the Akihiko gets forced amnesia? I just don't know... Also, Happy Easter!
