Hey everyone. So I want to get something off my chest real fast. My character is not emo! I say this thanks to Redripper666. He calls Jordan Emo after only chapter 2 and made it so I can't contact him by private message. I have met a lot of pricks in my day but you my sir are a cactus. Who does that? Insults someone's story and doesn't even let them defend it or ask for opinions. My god man. If you actually read this. Please, Please, PLEASE don't do what he did. It's people like them that make me want to stop this for good. Now on to the story.
Chapter 10: Greene and a choice made
I woke up and found Yang latched onto me in nothing but her bra and panties. I smile as I take in her beautiful face, Large breasts, and perfect curves. I don't deserve her. Yet here I am with her. How did this end up happening? I hear her groan next to me and her eyes flutter open. She sees me looking at her and smiles. "Like what you see?"
"Of course I do." I say as I lean in for a kiss. She leans forward and we kiss each other before we hear Ruby.
"EWWW!" She says and me and Yang burst out laughing.
"Maybe you should have knocked first Rubes."
"Next time I will. Anyways we're waiting downstairs for you guys."
"We'll be down in a sec." After I say that Ruby runs out of the room. "Well I guess we have to get up."
"Yeah." Says Yang. "But we can continue this later."
"Like when Weiss is trying to sleep?"
"You are so Evil. I love it!" We get up, dressed, and head downstairs. Blake and Ruby were in the kitchen while Weiss was watching the news.
"So far the outbreak is in the main city of Atlas. Police and military are keeping them held there. Meanwhile, the Schnee corporation's business skyrockets due to the sheer amount of dust being used on the infected." Weiss turns off the TV and sighs.
"Well I know where I'm going today." She looks at me and glares.
"Don't you mean we?"
"Well yeah. But we're gonna split up. And I'm going alone. Since I am basically a god."
"Aww. But who do I go with?" complains Yang.
"You can go with Blake."
"But I wanted to go with Blake." Says Ruby pouting.
"True but Blake needs to tell Yang something. Riiiiiight Blaaake?" I say with a mischievous smile. Her eyes widen and she glares at me.
"When?"
"Back at the school." She snaps her fingers and looks a little aggravated.
Yang looks at Blake and narrows her eyes. "What is he talking about Blake?"
"Save it for the city Yang." I say and she just shakes it off. "Now let's go." We all go out the door and head for the city.
We reach the city and I see Infected of all types in the city. I open my mouth but a roar stops me in my tracks. I look and see a giant infected with one big arm that was armored. It roared again and heads deeper into the city.
"Well… Let's get searching!"
"What are we looking for?" asked Blake.
"Look for anyone that's alive and isn't being attacked by the infected. Also. Try to stay alive." I run toward a building and start to run up it. I get to the top and start to jump from rooftop to rooftop. I get up to a high building and Look around. The city was on fire and no survivors in sight. I sigh in frustration. "This is gonna take a while."
Yang
We walk the streets in silence until I break it. "So… What was Jordan talking about back at the house?"
Blake stops and sighs. "Well… A while back Ruby asked me what I thought of her. I told her that she was a great leader and a great person to be around but…"
"But…" I say motioning for her to continue.
She sighs again. "But she didn't mean it in the way I thought."
I didn't understand at first but the realization hit me after a bit. My eyes go wide. "No."
"She was wondering if I loved her."
"And do you?" I say narrowing my eyes.
"Of course I do!" She says with determination in both her eyes and voice.
"Well then I don't have a problem with it." I say.
"You don't?"
"Nope. As long as she's happy it's all good. But if you hurt her." I get close to her. "You will feel the worst pain Imaginable." Blake gulped and nodded her head. "Good. Now let's try and find this person." I take around 3 steps and hear a roar next to me. I turn and see a creature that's like the Brawlers that Jordan summoned but bigger. "What the hell?!" It looks at me and rushes. I roll out of the way while Blake calls everyone to tell them what's going on, Knowing we couldn't handle this alone. The beast raises it's claw and attempts to slash at me. I roll out of the way and fire off a couple shots from ember celica but the beast just gets angrier. "Blake I'm not doing any damage here!"
"Yang! Look out!" I turn around just as the beast tries to raise its claw. I close my eyes knowing I won't be able to get away in time. I sit there for a few seconds until I notice I wasn't hit yet. I open my eyes and see Jordan there holding the beasts claw back but just barely.
"Jordan!" I say happy to see him.
"You alright Yang?" He asks as he tosses the beasts claw back.
"Yeah. I'm good."
He sighs in relief. "Good. Now stand back. I've had to fight a couple of these guys already. Although. This one is a bit different." He cocks his head to the side and the beast does the same. I step back with Blake as Jordan and the beast circle each other. After a full circle Jordan dashes toward the beast. He took a swing and hit the beast in the side of the face but the beast swiped him away sending him all the way to us. "Hmmm." He jumps up and turns his arm into hammerfist form. He sends spikes toward the beast but the beast jumps back just in time to dodge them. He jumped high into the air and tried to slam his fist into the beast but missed. He dodged a swipe by the beast and punched it back. The beast stumbles back but stares at Jordan. Jordan brings his arms back on the right side of his body and launches a stream of tendrals. The tendrals hit the beast and the beast gets dazed. Ruby and Weiss appear and are just about to help but me and Blake stop them.
"What are you doing?! We have to help him!" Yells Ruby.
"No. Look." I say as I point to Jordan. He jumps and grabs the beasts head with his left hand, then slams his fist into the beast's skull. The beast yells in pain and falls over dead while Jordan absorbs it with his tendrils.
Me
After I absorbed the beast all his memories rushed my head. I grab my head due to the flood of memories until I get to one. Greene. Her hive. Her safe house. The memories stop and I notice I'm on the ground and breathing hard. Yang was looking at me worried along with ruby. I take deep breaths to calm myself.
"You okay Jordan?" asks Yang worried.
"Yeah. I'm good."
"What happened usually when you absorb someone like that it doesn't faze you."
"The longer something's been alive, The more memories it has. It takes a lot to sift through only a few memories but this thing. It's been alive longer than the city has been under attack. It had a lot more memories than I'm used to." I try to stand up but stumble a bit. Yang helps me up and I shake off the dizziness. "The good thing is I know where Greene is."
"Then where is she?" asked Weiss.
I point deeper into the city. "The heart of the city." Ruby and Weiss start to head in a different direction but I stop them. "Don't. After this. I think it's better if we stick together. This Alpha hunter nearly got Yang. I'm not taking any chances." They nod and we head deeper into the city.
After a while and a couple fights with the infected we finally reach the building that Greene is in. I look at it and notice no way in. "The roof may have a way in. Will you guys be able to get up?" Weiss huffs and makes glyphs up to the roof. Blake shadows up there. Ruby runs up the building using her rifle for a boost. Yang blast herself up with Ember Celica. "I'll take that as a Yes." I jump up onto the roof with a huge jump. We find a skylight and I jump through. The girls follow soon after and we look around only to see darkness. I take one step and the lights blind me for a second. Once I regain my sight I'm slammed off the catwalk I was on and onto the first floor. I groan and look up to see a creature with its right arm huge and a spike as its left arm. "What the fuck?!" It jumps down and holds me down with its right arm. I struggle but can't get free from its grasp. The girls jump down and try to attack it but get knocked out by the beast. I hear footsteps and look to see a woman in black with blonde hair cut in a crazy fashion coming toward me. "Elizabeth Greene I presume?" The beast puts more pressure on me until I can't breathe. Greene snaps her fingers and the pressure is let up. She leans down till we're inches apart.
"Supreme Hunter take care of you." She says and walks off. The Supreme Hunter picks me up and tosses me to the other side of the room. I recover quickly and turn my arm into the blade form. I rush it and take swings that seem to do no damage. He punches me with his right arm dislocating my jaw along with sending me flying. I'm dazed as it jumps on me and repeatedly punches me in the face. I can't do anything at all and soon black out from all the damage.
When I wake up, I'm back at my house. I try to move but I'm in immense pain. I manage to get up and walk downstairs where I see the others all looking depressed. I walk over to Yang on the couch and Lay down on her lap. She jumps but gets a happy look on her face as she sees me.
"Jordan!" She says as she holds me tight. The others look over and sigh in relief as they see I'm alright.
"Yang. How did we end up back at the house?" I ask.
"That would be thanks to us." I turn to look at the voice who I learned was Pariah. Sam was next to him looking pissed off.
"Well thank you guys. I almost died."
"NO SHIT YOU ALMOST DIED DUMBSHIT!" Yells Sam. "You had all of us worried! After seeing that… THING wailing away at you and you not moving we thought you were dead!" She had tears in the edge of her eyes as she yelled at me.
"Awww. I didn't know you cared so much Sam." I say teasingly.
"You're lucky I don't kill you right now."
"Whatever. Anyways back to the problem at hand. That thing is strong. I wasn't able to do anything to it."
"That's right it toke both me and Sam to get it off you and for it to run." Says Pariah.
"And it took us out like we were nothing." States Weiss.
"So how do we beat something like that?" Says Blake. We all sit there thinking until Pariah speaks up.
"What about changing you guys?" They all look at him confused.
"NO!" I shout.
"Come on Jordan. We would-"
"I said No. I'm not gonna do it and if you even try I'll kill you."
"Jordan. What does he mean change us?" asks Yang. I look away not wanting to say anything but she grabs my face. "Jordan. What does he mean?"
I sigh. "He wants to turn you guys into weapons like us. Give you guys our abilities. Infect you with blacklight."
Yang looks shocked. "But I thought you got rid of all the virus samples?"
"We don't need the samples. We could inject you with it directly. We're essentially the virus. All we have to do is inject you. The only thing is. It would kill you." I caress her face with my hand. "I don't want to put you through that pain."
She takes my hand. "You don't control me Jordan."
"I know I don't. But if you do this. You'll never be human again. You would be the virus." I look at my other hand. "Just like me."
She leans down and kisses me on the head. "It will be fine. Besides with more of us we can take down anything that comes our way."
I look down as I remember the pain that the blacklight virus brought me when I was injected. I shake a bit and Yang holds me close to her. "It's up to you." I stand up and start to walk to the door. "But I can't watch." I walk out the door and over to a park nearby. No one was there so I sat on one of the benches and waited while crying as memories flood back from a time I can never forget.
Yang
Jordan walked out the door as Pariah came over. "You sure you want to do this?" I nod my head in determination. He changes his arm into whipfist form and stabs me in the chest. Tendrils pour into me and I grit my teeth in pain. He takes out his hand and I feel my body start to shift unnaturally. I scream out in pain as my molecules rearrange themselves. I squirm in pain as Ruby tries to run over to me but is stopped by Sam.
"Don't."
"But she's in pain!" Yells my sister as she tries to get past Sam.
"She made the choice even though Jordan warned her of the consequences."
"But-"
"We all had to go through this!" Yells Sam. I feel the pain start to dull but my vision starts to blur. "It's over. She's now done." I passed out.
So how did you like it. And before anyone starts to complain about how it doesn't actually hurt when you're infected or how I could have escaped the supreme Hunters grasp. I'm not trying to make my character OP. I will make it how I want. If you want. Make a story that's more realistic to the game and comics. I'm not gonna. Now tell me what you though. Till next time.
