A/N: Believe it or not... I'm actually back! I know I haven't uploaded in a very long time and everything BUT I have two more chapters finished and I will upload them really soon. I've been at a point with this story where I had to choose what will come next. Even though I had the outcome in my head, pretty much since I've uploaded the first chapter, I didn't know how to write it. So after this chapter, the story will turn around. You will get to know what happens to April and her pregnancy and there will be some Luke and Lorelai moments (YAAY). I know that you all want more of them and there will be more. I promise you...
Anyway: I hope you will like this chapter and you will enjoy the turn this story takes.

"April?" Luke said quietly.
Her head slowly turned around. Her eyes were red from crying.
But right now, seeing him standing there, she smiled.
"Hey Dad" April answered in a soft voice.
He walked towards her and sat down next to her.
"Nice spot you've found here." Luke said. April turned her head to look at him but didn't say anything.
"Look… I am really sorry for reacting the way I did. I had no right to do what I did…" Luke began.
"It's fine… I get it, you were shocked…" April interrupted him. She really didn't want to hear him apologizing to her.
"No… It wasn't okay." Luke said.
They sat there, saying nothing at all for a while until Luke broke the silence.
"My mother… your grandmother. She used to get so angry with me. I was a wild boy as a kid. I don't remember a time where I didn't break at least one vase a month."
He laughed, remembering that time. He had been such a rebel as a kid.
"I can't imagine you like that... You always seemed to me like you were such a nice and kind person as a child" April laughed.
"Oh really? Well I was. Anyway she would shout at me. But I didn't bother… I would just continue to break everything." Luke said.
"Oh god" April said. She wasn't quite why Luke was telling her all of that.
"And it was so stupid to not listen to her. Later I realized that she's always cleaned up the mess I've made. She really did. Not just the shreds but everything. No matter how much I screwed up, she would always be there to help me. She would be angry at first but then help me clean up the mess" Luke continued, getting sad by the memories of his mother.
"Wow. She sounds like she was a wonderful person" April tried to comform him.
Luke nodded.
"She was there for me whenever I needed her and she always no matter how bad things were had a solution. This was a motto I lived by for a very long time. I would try to fix everything"
"That sounds like you. You are always there for me when I need you" April smiled at him.
"I tried my best but when you told me that you were pregnant, all that I could think about was: how am I supposed to fix this… How can I help you? And then I realized that I'm not my mother. God, this woman must have had super powers, she repaired every broken vase and made it look even better than before. She was wonder woman… at least she was to me." Luke smiled to
himself sadly. He really missed his mother.
"Anyways: I am not her. I tried to be but the last couple of years, I don't know why but I made everything worse when trying to fix it. I wish I could help you. But I can't and it was so hard for me to realize that.
So the only thing I can do about this situation is tell you: I am 100% on your side. I won't make a decision for you or say what you need to do because I don't even know that and you are the only person who knows what is best for you.
So don't let anyone pressure you into doing something you don't want to."
By the end of his speech he looked up again. He saw April sitting next to her with tears in her eyes.
"I love you Dad," She mouthed. She wasn't able to speak. Luke laid his arm around her and pulled her close. He wanted to shield her, but it was just too late.
"The thing I'm most afraid of is that I might make a decision I will regret. I mean… it's so hard to figure out how it will be in the future. How it would turn out one way or another. But right now… I just can't think about it anymore…" April said.
"Come on. Let's get back to the diner and I'll make you a burger. You must be starving!" Luke said, trying to change the topic.
"Actually I am," April said. He succeeded.
"Hey, Hon! How are you? How's Yale?" Lorelai asked as she picked up the phone.
"Good, it's all going good! And with you? I feel like we haven't talked in ages. I'm just so busy with studying and everything… I mean it's my last year." Rory said.
"Oh well, you know… The usual stuff…" Lorelai said, not sure whether to tell Rory about the whole April and Luke situation or not.
"No, you know what: actually I don't! That's why I'm asking you." Rory said. She knew there was something that her mother wasn't telling her.
"What's the problem, Mom? And don't try to deny it, I know you way too well, I know when somethings wrong." Rory reminded her mom.
"Okay… So I went to go to Doose's a couple of days ago because I've heard that Taylor was selling those awesome German chocolates for half the price and… Anyway as I was passing Luke's I saw April sneaking out of the window. When she landed on the floor, I saw that she was crying. I asked her what was wrong and at first she refused but then she told me that she's pregnant..." Lorelai began.
"Oh. My. God. What? Wow… This is…" Rory was shocked.
"Wait, there's more. So I told her to come with me to the house because I just couldn't leave her there, she was so confused, Rory!"
"That was really kind of you" Rory said.
"Yeah… There's more. April knew she had to tell her parents and so she asked me to come with her after she told her boyfriend so I could be there to support them. And I said yes… Even though I hadn't been to the diner since the break up. I hadn't talked to Luke since that morning when he came over to my house."
"I know mom" Rory said sadly. The break up had been really hard on Lorelai and loosing her best friend was just one factor why.
"I knew I had to do it. And it was good I went with them because let me tell you: Anna and Luke weren't pleased to find out she was pregnant and they all freaked out."
"Oh I can imagine. Luke must have been so upset!" Rory said.
"Yeah he certainly was. Anyway later they talked again and Luke and Anna disagreed what was best for April and they got into a fight." Lorelai continued.
"And they both walked away and then Luke came to my house and we talked about the situation and I swear he almost kissed me." Lorelai took a deep breath.
"What!? Luke and you and OMG!" Rory couldn't believe what she just had heard.
"Yeah… But it's no big deal and it probably didn't mean anything to him anyway. He's so hurt and confused, Rory! I hate to see him like that and I just can't talk about this anymore." Lorelai couldn't handle talking about Luke and April anymore, it was all too much.
"Okay… So do you want to know what Paris did to freak me out yesterday?"
Lorelai laughed. She had the best daughter in the whole world.
"What did she do? Did she have a yoga session in your room again…" Lorelai asked.
"No, that was last week and let me tell you: It really isn't any fun to be woken up but Paris doing the splits at 5 am!"
"Haha. I can imagine. So tell me, what did she do this time?" Lorelai asked laughing.
